  • Recently, online environment is actively used so it will be needed to identify the factors influencing satisfaction for continuous success. In this paper, we explain the users' satisfaction of online purchasing IT and verify them through the empirical analysis. We select basic variables from TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and add specific variables from former research about user's trait. We chose satisfaction, perceived easiness, perceived usefulness, regret and maximizing tendency. Data collected from 150 user who had prior experiences with online purchasing IT were empirically tested against the research model using partial least square (PLS). The results show that perceived easiness, perceived usefulness and regret are significantly related to satisfaction and maximizing tendency has positive impact on perceived easiness, perceived usefulness and regret significantly.

  • This research intends to examine and analyze the service quality effect on petrol buying intention through satisfaction when the Maranatha Christian University lecturers spend their money in the Pertamina-affiliated gas stations in Bandung. To attain this goal, we develop four relevant hypotheses to be tested. Furthermore, we use simple random sampling to acquire samples by denoting a sample size set by the Slovin formula. To collect the responses, we use the online survey and fruitfully yield a 53.54% rate with a total of 106 lecturers participating in completing the distributed questionnaire link. This number is near 100; hence, we employ a structural equation model with a variance basis to analyze them. After examining the data and conferring the results, we conclude three things. First, service quality does not affect purchasing intention, but customer satisfaction positively does. Second, service quality has a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Finally, consumer satisfaction successfully mediates the effect of service quality on the intention to buy. Based on these conclusions, this paper finds the superior service to the petrol buyers is the key driver for the gas stations under Pertamina control to effectively compete with their rivals in the marketplace, especially in Bandung.

  • Consumers are highly interested in processed fishery products that are healthy and superior in terms of convenience, nourishment, and taste. However, current domestic research on processed fishery products is marginal. We systematically analyzed consumer consumption patterns and the relationship to pursuit benefits, selection attributes, satisfaction levels, and reasons for purchase. Consumers considered product information the most important selection attribute, whereas convenience scored highest for pursuit benefits. Furthermore, the influences of selection attributes and pursuit benefits on satisfaction level and the reason for purchasing an item were analyzed using demographic properties as control variables. The variables that affected satisfaction level were residential district (region: B= -0.268, p<0.05.), recipe (B=0.098, p<0.05), nutrients (B=0.124, p<0.05), convenience (B=0.283, p<0.001), and economics (B=0.138, p<0.05). The variables affecting the reason for purchasing were nutrients (B=0.173, p<0.001), convenience (B=0.277, p<0.001) and satisfaction level (B=0.163, p<0.001). Pursuit intention had significant effects on purchase intention; however, selection attributes had no significant effect on purchase intention. Therefore, consumer satisfaction had a significant effect on purchase intention. This result showed that if consumers were satisfied, they intended to repurchase. Attempts to increase repurchases by consumer are needed by fulfilling consumer satisfaction. These data can be utilized as a fundamental reference for sales promotions.

  • In this study, we investigated how to distinguish customer delivered value to re-purchasing in fierce B2C industry. To identify key managerial variables that could distinctively impact re-purchasing, we first identified customer value proposition as per the customer buying decision process. Next, core value propositions of choice efficiency and competitive price are defined to determine vendor satisfaction during the searching stage and purchasing stage. The trust level is also introduced in the sense of reflecting confirmation to guarantee after purchase security. Then, significant managerial variables to impact on core value propositions are extracted. The resulting structural model illustrated that search convenience and quality assurance affect the choice efficiency, and re-purchase intention is strongly explained by both the vendor satisfaction and trust level. The empirical testing results also support that transaction cost reduction is key determinant of shopping at the Internet shopping mall. Furthermore, trust level should be combined to induce re-purchasing in addition to transaction cost savings.

  • As the number of Internet users increases, online shopping malls are gradually flourishing and sales are continuously growing. However, since consumers are not able to check what they purchase when buying products on the Internet, they are bound to have higher risk perception than buying directly from off-line stores. Especially, sporting goods require a special attention because a preliminary test is important. Therefore, the risk perception is much higher when people purchase sporting goods online. This study first identifies the multi-dimensionality of risk perception. Then, it investigates whether online purchasing experience of sporting goods makes differences in the level of risk perception. In addition, it examines whether the risk perception by those who had an experience in purchasing sporting goods online affects the customer satisfaction. This study has identified five dimensions in the concept of risk perception, such as financial risk, performance risk, security risk, delivery risk, and psychological/physical risk. A statistical analysis shows that people without an experience in purchasing sporting goods online have perceived significantly higher performance risk, security risk, and psychological/physical risk than those with online purchasing experiences. Finally, this study has found that delivery risk, financial risk, and psychological/physical risk have significant negative influences on the customer satisfaction.
