This study was carried out to find consumers' attributes and willingness to pay(WTP) of agricultural products cultivated from plants factory system. The agricultural products were sorted into lettuce, strawberry, Ligularia fischeri(wild edible greens), and ginseng. We made the questionaires to survey consumers' purchasing attributes and preference of agricultural products. Finally, 200 valid replies were selected to analyze consumers' attributes and to estimate marginal willingness to pay. We used conjoint analysis and multinomial logit model for empirical analysis. MWTPs of commodities are estimated as follows; Lettuce is 1,016KW(100g), Strawberry is 6,014KW(2kg), Ligularia fischeri is 3,652KW(100g), and Ginseng is 5,905KW(100g). Several attributes of consumers' purchasing behavior were identified from this study. We suggested several implications to formulate more appropriate policy of plants factory system.

This study uses a survey questionnaire to identify the major customer age class of adult women who frequently mountain climb as well as analyze their purchasing behavior and preference of mountain climbing pants. The field survey, classified the types of mountain climbing pants, selected the types of mountain climbing pants that consumers preferred, and then analyzed the degrees of satisfaction for mountain climbing pants based on an evaluation of wearing. Specifically, the patterns of mountain climbing pants preferred by national brands and licensed brands were compared and analyzed. The validities of commercially available mountain climbing pants were analyzed through an evaluation of wearing comfort and an evaluation of wearing on a 3D simulation of the human body. The basic data for the development of mountain climbing pants are presented based on the results. The survey questionnaire results indicate that the major class of women consumers of mountain climbing goods was in the 40s to 50s; in addition, the types they most wore were straight type and functional cut type. The preferred brand was KOLONSPORT (which occupies a 21.2% market share), followed by THE NORTH FACE (13.0%), K2 (11.5%) and Kolping (10.0%). The main reason (26.8% of responses) that they preferred these brands was functionality. The difference in measurement of climbing pants patterns could be analyzed accurately in the pattern analysis, the wearing evaluation by the self-sonsory test and evaluation of wearing comfort through 3D simulation. The results of ANOVA on motions and items indicates that no significant difference was found among motions; however, a significant difference was recognized among items. A comparison of straight type and functional cut type showed that the functional cut type excelled slightly in wearing comfort.

This study intends to provide strategic positioning of brand image analysed from the view point of perceptual dimensions of clothing consumers. Consumers are segmented on the basis of the attributes of brand image, and in each segment, perceptual map is composed according to multidimensional scaling. The results are as follows; 1. According to the Benefit Segmentation, it is statistically significant that the consumers are divided into 'product-factor oriented group 'and' image-factor oriented group'. 2. From the analysis of perceptual map upon the 'similarity of brand image,'image-factor oriented group 'perceives more differently than 'product-factor oriented group' 3. From the analysis of perceptual map with the evaluation of attributes of brand image, price, promotion and design are significant determinants in 'total consumer group'. In addition, store image is significant determinant in' image-factor oriented group' and quality is significant determinant in' product-factor oriented group'. According to the evaluation of consumers on 8 brands with determining attribute-vector, ranks of brands in each segment are similar in the vector of price and promotion but different in the vector of design between segment groups. 4. From the analysis of perceptual map upon the preference of brand image, the distribution of preference and position of ideal point are different between segment groups. 5. With evaluation of purchase habit, statistically significant differences are found between groups segmented in the degree of importance of attributes, purchasing motive, purchasing time, sources of information and expenses for clothes.

During recent few years, Bike is arising as one of the most important item of sports market. As well as in domestic markets, customers are demanding specific brands only for young aged riders. Therefore, this study researched current bike wears and suggest digital textile printing with sports wear trends which also have safety and visual impact effectiveness, so it can be satisfied as green products and we also try to suggest sports sensitivity of existing cycle wear to city fashion. The purpose of this study is to figure out 20's-30's female biker attitude for bike wear and their purchasing habits and also their preference, digital textile design of city biker wear based on present condition research of riding wear markets and to establish high quality products with occupying high percentage of global markets and making high profits. For this study, bike wear distributors Survey First, foreign companies generally meet evenly sampling the 20s and 30s targeted vendors 10 companies were selected. 'city sporty ware' or 'casual line' dual 'extreme line' from all manufacturers, including, however did not distinguish it from all the vendors. As mentioned, we figure out 20's-30's female rider's attitude for riding suit and their purchasing habits and also their preference, so we can develop riding suit design based on their needs and suggest new design patterns.
This study is to investigate the recognition and preference of tofu food among general consumers and housewives in order to develope new tofu menu. The questionnaires are consisted of general questions, style of dining out, frequency of dining, health status, preference of tofu, reason for prefer tofu. A total of 262 questionnaires were analyzed for statistical analysis. The statistical analysis was completed using SAS program (Version 8.2) for descriptive analysis and ${\chi}^2\;-test$. Main results of this study were as follows: Most of the respondents prefer Korean food, 70% of the respondents are general consumers while 73.5% of the respondents are housewives. The frequency of dining out was 1-2 times per week. The two groups bought pre-cooked food one to two times per week. Fourity seven percent of the general consumers and 50% of housewives did not like the taste of tofu due to plain flavor. The respondents overall preferred many different ways to prepare tofu dishes. The results also indicated that tofu dishes are used as side-dishes. Thirty three percent of house wives had tofu with miso soup and pan-fried tofu, while 29.6% of the general consumers had soft tofu stew. 34% of the general consumers preferred stuffed tofu with shrimp, while 35.5% of the housewives liked it. 17% of the general consumers liked grilled tofu with crab meat sauce while only 14.5% of the housewives preferred the menu. Tofu teriyaki was preferred among 8.2% of the general consumers while 13.2% of the housewives liked tofu teriyaki.

This study was undertaken to provide basic data to aid product development and marketing by identifying purchasing behaviors and performing Important Performance Analysis (IPA) according to the consumption values of rice cakes. This study was conducted on 426 consumers who purchased rice cakes. Analysis was performed to determine general characteristics, consumption behaviors, preference for rice cakes, material preferences for rice cake development, need for rice cake development, and importance and satisfaction when selecting rice cakes. Cluster analysis classified consumption values into three clusters. The high and middle consumption value groups contained the greatest proportions of consumers aged over fifty. The high and medium consumption value groups preferred rice cakes more than the low consumption value group. Higher rice cake consumption value was positively associated with the greater preference for rice cakes. Furthermore, the perceived need to develop rice cakes was greatest in the high consumption value group. In addition, importance and satisfaction were positively associated with consumption value. IPA analysis showed that the attributes that require continuous attention because of their contributions to importance and satisfaction were taste, quantity, and hygiene. Different rice cake marketing and product development strategies are required for different consumption values.

This study was conducted to investigate adolescents' food purchasing attitudes and related factors in the aim of improving youth's ability to purchase food properly and providing basic data on educational program development regarding dietary life. Total 476 adolescents residing in Daegu area participated in this study, and followings are the summary of the results. In terms of concerns in food purchasing, adolescents put priority in order of price(3.81±0.64), taste(3.70±0.72), safety(3.52±0.78), health(2.93±0.92). With respect to food purchasing attitudes, a significant differences were found in economic concern(p<.05) by gender and by the amount of allowance; preference(p<.01) and safety(p<.01) by school year. The analysis of environmental factors affecting food purchasing attitudes revealed that adolescents were most influenced by their parents(3.44±0.62) in food purchasing, whereas friends' influences(2.43±0.60) were relatively low. Regarding the effect of environmental factors on food purchasing, significant differences were found in parents(p<.05) and brands(p<.05) by gender; friends(p<.01) and parents(p<.05) by school year; friends(p<.01) by the amount of allowance. Food purchasing attitudes represented positive correlation with parents, advertisements and brands(p<.001). In addition, regression analysis showed that parents and advertisements affect adolescents' food purchasing. Conclusively, adolescents appear to prioritize price and taste, and they were influenced most by their parents when purchasing food. Therefore, parents, serving as a consumer role model, should instruct their children to learn considerate attitude in food purchasing.
In South Korea, social, the number of single-person households has rapidly increased because of financial factors. Since single-person households have characteristics differentiated from general households, many enterprises pay attention to them that appear as important consumers. This study conducted a survey with consumers in their 20s to 50s in single-person households, nationwide who had an experience of purchasing HMR. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, of the benefits pursued in dietary life, the pursuit of nutrition a negative (-) impact on RTH type and did not have any impacts on the RTE and RTC types. The pursuit of taste had a positive (+) impact only on the RTE type while it did not have any impact on the RTH and RTC types. The pursuit of convenience had positive (+) impacts on all RTH, RTE and RTC types, while the pursuit of price sought did not have any impact on all types. Second, of the preferences by each HMR type, preferences for the RTH and RTC types had positive (+) impacts on purchase intention while preference for the RTE type did not have any impact on purchase intention. Third, of the benefits pursued in dietary life, the pursuits of taste and convenience had positive (+) impacts on purchase intention while the pursuits of nutrition and price did not have any significant impacts on purchase intention. In addition, of the benefits pursued in dietary life, the pursuit of convenience had a significant impact on purchase intention mediated by preference by each HMR type. As a result, taste of HMR and the aspects of convenience act as factors inducing purchases, and products in the various forms of taste and convenience in order to appeal consumers who pursue taste and convenience.

The purpose of this study was to characterize the effect of Net fashion value regarding to the factors of purchase-decision at internet shopping mall and the preference for fashion design. The subjects for this sample survey, were junior high school and university students who had dwelled at pusan and ulsan in south korea. This study had 824 samples of each aged from 13 to 24 who had purchasing ability of fashion apparels at the interned shopping mal1. The sampling data in this survey was analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, T-test, LSD-test, MANOVA and ANOVA of SPSS WIN package. The results of this study was as follows; 1. It was proved that advertising, pursuit of services and products, pursuit of information were considered first from Net generations fashion value. Next things were perception of danger and pursuit of convenience. It was proved that they considered it important A/S, recall, exchange and post management. 2. It was proved that there was difference at the preference for fashion design of according to Net generations fashion value. Color was considered to be the most important one. 3. Men had higher political value than women and 1318 teenagers had higher fashion value than semi-adult. Under high school educational course Net generation had more theoretical value than above university educational course Net generation did. Also, with the factor of average monthly income, political value was considered to be the most important. People whose monthly expenditure on purchase was above 50,000 won had higher social value than people whose expenditure was under 50,000 won but under 50,000 won had higher political value than above 50,000 won did.
The primary objective of this research was to investigate the recognition, preference and the present using status of yam for the data which will be useful to make consumers intake more yams and to develop more yam processed products. Almost all respondents who had eaten yams liked it, and Andong people eat more yams than Daegu people. About 60.3% respondents who like yams cited the reason was "it's good for health". Among the respondents who had eaten yams recognized it as nutritional, healthful, and diet food compared with the respondents who had not eaten yams. Recognition degree was higher when the preference for yams was higher. Among the types of yam processed cooking, according to intake ratio, yam juice formed 38%, followed by bleaching(17%) etc. Among the types of yam processed food, powdered tea formed 34%, followed by yam gruel(24%), yam drinks(19%) etc. It showed that respondents eat very few foods made from yams and yam processed food. As for purchasing yam processed food, the result showed that the main concerns of the respondents were the "ratio of yams"(24.9%), followed by "tastes"(21.3%) etc. The largest group (29.4%) of the respondents suggested that the improvements of yams were "diversification of the processed food" followed by "improved taste"(26.4%) while 62.5% of the respondents indicated that they would buy yams after its improvement, which showed a good prospect of yam processed food.
