The competition to acquire customers with repurchase intention is getting more and more intense in the saturated smartphone market. That is why the aim of this study is to investigate the difference in purchasing determinants between various age groups and gender. Furthermore we aimed to analyze which of the purchasing determinants influence repurchase intention. In order to gather information we conducted a survey on 252 respondents. We selected 5 purchasing determinants (A/S, H/W, switching cost, network effect and design) by conducting factor analysis and validity analysis. Then we analyzed how respondents of different age groups and gender perceived different purchasing determinants and analyzed the influence purchasing determinants have on repurchase intention. As for analyzing the difference of purchasing determinants throughout various age groups, the H/W, A/S, network effect showed a notable difference. The older respondents tended to consider H/W, A/S, network effect more importantly than younger respondents. When it came to comparing the results depending on the gender, male respondents tended to consider H/W factor more importantly compared to female respondents and the opposite was true for other factors such as A/S, switching cost, design, and network effect but there weren't any significant differences. Finally, out of various determinant factors, network effect and design turned out to have a considerable influence on repurchase intention. That is why it would be highly appropriate to say that if a company intends to boost repurchase intention, enhancing network effect and developing an effective design would be crucial. This study differs from other existing researches in that we analyzed respondents from different age groups and gender separately. Also unlike other researches we directly analyzed the influence purchasing determinants have on repurchase intention not customer satisfaction. This study is expected to serve as basic information that can be used to establish strategies both in an academic and practical level, allowing companies to boost the repurchase intention of the smartphone market.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of determinants of Smartphone purchasing such as A/S, brand, H/W, switching cost, design on customer satisfaction and verify the accordance of the results of existing researches and our research with customers' actual experience. The study also sought to confirm if moderating effects exist between determinants of Smartphone purchasing and customer satisfaction by age, gender. Data for this study was gathered by analyzing the results of a survey we conducted on 252 respondents. By taking into account the results of antecedent researches, we determined A/S, brand, H/W, switching cost, design as the 5 main factors that influence Smartphone purchasing behavior. We focused on analyzing the effect determinants of Smartphone purchasing has on consumer satisfaction and whether there exist any moderating effects between the determinants of Smartphone purchasing and consumer satisfaction by age and gender. As a result, we found out that design, brand, H/W had a significant influence on consumer satisfaction in the descending order. Switching cost and A/S turned out to have very little influence on consumer satisfaction. Also as a result of analyzing the moderating effects between determinants of Smartphone purchasing and consumer satisfaction by age and gender, the study verified that that A/S had the most significant influence as a moderating effect on age. And as for gender, switching cost was turned out to have a significant influence. The result of this study indicates several academic and practical implications for customer satisfaction of Smartphone business. Therefore, this result is expected to contribute to verifying influential factors of customer satisfaction improvement both academically and practically.
Purpose: The baby boomers and the millennials, who make up the largest share of the market, are showing the gap in their differentiated cultural styles. The purpose of this study is to study the consumption propensity and purchasing determinants of the baby boomers generation and the millennials generation, which have become a very important key pillar in shaping the market based on the cultural dimension model theory of h(=>H)opstead, and to identify the difference Research design, data, and methodology: In order to verify the research hypotheses, The data was collected from the baby boomers and the millennials using online questionnaires. The pre-test was conducted from October 10 to 12, 2019, and the main survey was conducted from October 15 to 25. A total of 230 copies were recalled, and the final 219 copies were used for the final analysis. Results: The consumption propensity between the baby boomers and the millennials differed in resource saving purchase propensity and impulse buying propensity. The baby boomers showed higher resource saving purchase propensity than the millennials, while the millennials showed higher impulse buying propensity. There was a difference in the determinants to purchasing only in the evaluation factor. Results of gender differences by generation, baby boomers differed in their planned purchase propensity, and women were higher. The millennials generation differed in resource saving purchase propensity and awareness propensity for others, all higher in men. In determinants to purchasing, the baby boomers did not differ in gender, and the millennials did differ in product factors. A canonical correlations analysis of the relationship between the baby boomers and the millennials showed a significant relationship between consumption propensity and determinants to purchasing. Also, the baby boomer generation has the biggest link between impulse buying propensity and evaluation factor. The millennials generation showed the biggest link between resource saving purchase and product factors. Conclusions: This study compared consumption propensity and determinants to purchasing of baby boomers and millennials on the basis of Hopstead's cultural dimension model theory to identify differences between generations, presenting practical and theoretical implications for establishing a correct understanding and specific marketing strategy among generation.

The purpose of this study was to identify the determinants of purchasing non-deceptive counterfeit luxury brands. As determinants, this study exmained subject-related variables(consumer ethnoncetrism and attitude toward counterfeit), product-related variable(similarity with originals), and social influence(social recognition by others). Data were gathered by surveying university students living in Seoul metropolitan area using convenient sampling, and 323 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using structural equation modeling. Results showed that consumers' attitudes toward counterfeits significantly influenced their attitudes toward purchasing counterfeit luxury brands which directly influence purchasing frequency of counterfeit luxury brands. Consumers who evaluated the counterfeit more similar to the originals had more positive attitudes toward purchasing counterfeit luxury brands. The results show why consumers have increasing demands for counterfeits and the implications for anti-counterfeit business are suggested.
The purpose of this study was designed a) to examine the relative importance for college students' clothing disposal causes and their factor structure: b) to test the effects of gender, clothing satisfaction and family income on clothing disposal determinants; and c) to assess the relationship between clothing purchase determinants and overall clothing satisfaction and clothing disposal determinants. Data (n=660) were collected from college students in Cheju Do. The survey questionnaire composed of a revised Clothing Disposal Determinants Scale, Clothing Purchase Determinants Scale and background variables. First, the most important reasons for clothing disposal were to unfit with body change, get washed our and raise nap on clothe, wornout with long-term use, do not ware for new purchasing clothe, uneasy on wear. Second, factor analysis of the revised Clothing Disposal Determinants Scale revealed five factors; unfitness, fashion change, quality dissatisfaction, product efficiency decrement, and maintenance/inconvenience. Third, female students perceived significantly higher in fashion change and unfitness than male students. Forth, unfitness and product efficiency decrement were significantly discriminated between between clothing satisfaction groups, unfitness and fashion change variables were significantly discriminated between family income groups. fifth, impulsive purchase factor was the best predictor of composite clothing disposal measure, followed by individuality, clothing satisfaction, practicality. The best predictors of each disposal factors were individuality oriented purchasing criterion in unfitness factor. Fashion in fashion change, impulsive purchase in quality dissatisfaction and product efficiency decrement factors, and practicality in maintenance/inconvenience factor. As a whole, the most consistent predictor of clothing disposal determinants was impulsive purchase factor.
Recently, owing to the rapid growth of the Internet and information technology, the growth of the Internet shopping mall has been truly phenomenal. In the Internet shopping mall, as the customers can't touch a product directly, trust is important factor in purchasing intention. Many researchers proposed direct relationship between the customer trust and the purchasing intention. We supposed that there would be some factors that could be the consequences of trust in on-line purchasing decision, and the factors could be also the determinants of purchasing intention and decision for the Internet shopping mall customers. We found out that there were indirect relationship between them through the customer's attitude, involvement, and royalty to the site rather then directly related. Particularly, the correlation between the site attitude and the purchasing intention was high, but the direct effect was not significant. The site attitude was indirectly related to the purchasing intention through the customer involvement and loyalty. This means that the customer relationship involvement and loyalty enhancement strategies are more important for the success of Internet shopping mall.
Purpose - This paper empirically analyzed the determinants of the online food market in Korea and Vietnam as representatives of the developed market and emerging market. The online food market can be regarded as having a high potential value. This study aims to suggest the appropriate implications for each developed market and emerging market by empirically comparing and analyzing customers' online food purchase determinants in the growth change of the online food market. Design/methodology - The empirical model of this study was established with the motif of the TAM+Trust model suggested by Nguyen et al.'s (2019) existing theoretical framework. Davis's (1989) TAM model was adopted to establish a framework related to the determinants that consumers would accept, for the online food purchasing method. Then, the trust variable is added to the framework which is regarded as an important effector especially in food related researches. In this study's comparative analysis, the multi-group structural equation modeling analysis was implemented. Findings - The main finding of this study can be summarized as that the moderating effect of nationality is significant. This means that there is an obvious difference between the developed online food market and the emerging online food market. In addition, as the growth of the online market changes, the significant determinants of consumers' attitudes and purchase intentions are somewhat different. However, the usefulness of online food purchasing methods and the trust of websites were analyzed as significant factors. Originality/value - Although the potential of the online food market is abundant, studies on the determinants of customer's attitude and purchase intention are insufficient. Moreover, comparative studies between countries have not been conducted in existing studies. Therefore, the research value of this paper can be explained in that it has suggested implications for the continued growth of the online food market.
This study attempted to find out whether there is a difference between social commerce and TV home shopping in the relationship between the purchasing decision factors and the purchasing intention of accommodation product buyers. A survey was conducted for 20 days from March 7 to March 26, 2022, and 205 copies were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the analysis, the purchasing determinants were divided into four factors: reliability, playability, convenience, and economy. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the purchase determinants influenced the purchase intention in the order of playability, reliability, economy, and convenience, while social commerce had the greatest influence on playfulness and home shopping. Social commerce is considered to be important in terms of persuasion based on the product information provided, and consideration of how lively and enjoyable home shopping creates broadcasting videos.
industry each which are using a kind of EDI, supplier-oriented Electronic Data Interchange(SOEDI) to procure materials, equipment and supplies more effectively. The major objective of this study are to determine the basic nature of the impact of SOEDI on the structure and procedure in purchasing. The other is to identify the variables or determinants which influence the benefits which can be experienced in purchasing organizations. This study was conducted through interviewing of organizations which are currently active in the use of EDI. Samples of 107 purchasing organizations were collected. Some key findings of this study are ; 1) There were remarkable differences on influencing level and relationship of determinants which influence the benefits of purchasing organizations. There was the most remarkable one in trading industry. 2) The more suppliers, the more benefits. The transaction rate with suppliers who are affiliated with EDI is low as a whole but suppliers who are affiliated with EDI can be a critical factor on selection of buyers. 3) Procedure related to purchasing order was mainly changed. There is a development on signature but still exists. 4) The number of employees were reduced a little bit.
Import Agency Service Mall, which provide customers not only with convenient shopping experiences but also with purchasing, warehousing, shipping, and customs clearance services, have been playing a significant role in rapidly transforming Korean consumers into global consumers. The consumers' great demand for foreign goods(services) created Import Agency Service Mall(referred to hereafter as IASM) as a new business model of distribution and consumption, which seems to grow rapidly. Accordingly, this study examined the e-Trust by analyzing the characteristics of IASM, determinants of trust, risk perception and its association with e-Trust in IASM, and finally applying the result to general internet shopping mall(referred to hereafter as GISM). The following results came out from the analysis: First, from the result of checking these two types of internet shopping mall consumers have different determinants of trust. Second, from the question if two types perceive different risk, purchasing the foreign goods, it came out that they showed critical difference in variable relevant to goods delivery and customer service. IASM perceived risk from those two variables more than GISM Third, from the review of the relationships between determinants of trust and risk perception variables, IASM showed interrelation among all the variables except between customer service and perceived risk. Fourth, the researcher examined how the risk perceived in the course of purchasing goods has an effect on consumers e-Trust. In case of IASM, risk perception relevant to customer service had an effect on consumer e-Trust. To the contrary, incase of GISM, risk perception didn't have any effect on e-Trust. Finally, from the review of interrelation between determinants of trust and consumer e-Trust, it came out that for IASM capability had an effect on consumer e-Trust and for GISM consumer service had an effect on consumer e-Trust.
