커피전문점의 광고실행 유형이 고객의 상표태도 및 구매의도 형성과정에 미치는 영향 (Customers' Brand Attitude and Purchase Intention Formation Process by Advertising Execution Types - A Korean Coffee Shop Case)

  • 관광 서비스 업체들은 광고라는 커뮤니케이션 수단을 이용하여 고객들의 태도를 자사 상품에 호의적으로 변화 또는 유지 시키려 노력한다. 그리고 효과적인 설득적 메시지를 전달하기 위하여 광고실행 방법에 변화를 주고자 한다. 본 연구에는 감성적 광고실행과 인지적 광고실행 유형이 고객들의 광고태도, 상표태도, 그리고 구매의도에 상이한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 조사하였다. 연구결과 광고실행의 유형에 따라 영향력의 정도에 차이를 보이는 것으로 파악되었다. 그리고 감성적 광고실행 방법을 적용한 광고의 경우 광고태도는 상표태도에 유의한 영향을 미치나 구매의도에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 반면, 인지적 광고실행의 방법의 광고의 경우는 광고태도가 상표태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향의 정도는 크지 않으나 두 변수에 모두 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악 되었다.

메뉴 라벨의 제시 유형과 소비자 지식 수준에 따른 커뮤니케이션 효과 (Communication Effects of the Presenting Types of Menu Labelsand Consumers' Knowledge Level)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the presenting type of menu labels(regular/descriptive) and knowledge level(high/low) on the advertisement(Ad) comprehension, attitude toward the Ad, attitude toward the brand, purchase intentions. For that reasons, 157 university students who are majoring in food-service management or culinary arts were conveniently selected as sample for $2{\times}2$ factorial design. A final sample of 153 responses were deemed usable and then two-way ANOVA was used for statistical analysis. The findings are as follows. First, there were significant differences between the presenting types of menu labels and communication effects including the Ad comprehension, attitude toward the Ad, attitude toward the brand, purchase intentions. It can be known that descriptive menu labels showed higher communication effects than regular menu labels. Second, there were significant differences between the knowledge levels and communication effects including the Ad comprehension, attitude toward the Ad, and purchase intention but not in attitude toward the brand. It can be known that consumers with relatively high knowledge levels showed higher the Ad comprehension, attitude toward the Ad, purchase intention than consumers with low knowledge levels. The results of this study can be used as data for more effective menu marketing and basic of further empirical study for effectiveness of menu labels.

공익마케팅을 전개하는 패션 브랜드에 대한 소비자태도와 친숙성이 신뢰와 구매.추천의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Consumer Attitudes and Familiarity toward a Fashion Brand with a Cause Marketing Program on Credibility, Purchase and Word-of-mouth Intention)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the cause marketing on fashion brand credibility, purchase and words of mouth ("WOM") intentions. This study adopted a survey method with the questionnaire. Data were collected from respondents who were graduated from higher than elementary school students. The data were analyzed by using statistic methods such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability test and structural equation modelling. The results of the data analysis of this study are as follows; firstly, brand familiarity and customer attitude have a directly positive effect on the credibility, purchase and WOM intentions. Fashion business companies should work up the ways of communications with the customers besides cause marketing for the brand familiarity. It is necessary for customers to be known about how the fashion business companies participate in cause marketing to enhance the value of positive brand attitude. Secondly, while the brand familiarity on the credibility, purchase and WOM intentions are effective to female customers, the brand attitude is effective to male customers. Thirdly, even though it was showed that the credibility of fashion brands have no significant effects on purchase and WOM intention, it is due to its own nature of fashion business and it is founded in preceding research that high-involved fashion products may have different results in comparison with the practical products.

소비자의 성격유형별 위험지각이 충성도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - MBTI의 판단유형과 인식유형을 중심으로 - (The influence of consumers' personality types on perceived risk to loyalty and purchase intentions - Focusing on the judging and perceiving types of MBTI -)

  • The purpose of the study was to compare two different MBTI personality types by evaluating the influence of perceived risk on brand and store loyalty and purchase intention. 340 questionnaires were used for the analysis. For statistical analysis, SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were performed, and frequency tests, reliability analyses and Structural Equation Modeling were used. The results of SEM analysis, confirmed that one question of brand loyalty and one question of store loyalty were inappropriate for this study. Thus, these two questions were removed and the research model was modified. To determine the goodness of fit of the research model, convergent validity was tested. Most items fell into the goodness of fit, and the average coefficient was fulfilled. According to the results of a path coefficient analysis for the Judging type, perceived risk has a significant influence on brand loyalty and brand loyalty also affected store loyalty. Furthermore, brand loyalty and store loyalty have a significant effect on purchase intentions, but perceived risk did not affect brand loyalty for the Perceiving type. Brand loyalty influences store loyalty and purchase intentions, but store loyalty did not influence purchase intentions. As a result of this study, it is concluded that considering consumers' personality types is critical to developing strategies that enhance brand loyalty.

중국 국가이미지가 한국소비자의 상품평가 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of China's Country Image on Korean Consumers' Product Evaluations and Purchase Intentions)

  • This paper's aim is to explore how China's country image affects the product evaluations and purchase intentions through three major hypothesize. Four hundred eighty-nine Korean adult consumers, who have the purchase experiences of goods made in China before, were invited to take part in this investigation. Data analyses were conducted by reliability test, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling with SPSS ver. 19.0 and AMOS ver. 18.0. This study focused on multi-dimensional country image and found that China's country image contains 5 elements (people, evolution, politic, economic and culture). Empirical verification through structural equation modeling indicates that the data offer substantial supports, such that China's country image represents the predominant influence on product evaluations and people, evolution, and politic image showed positive effects. Also, China's country image has a positive influence on the product purchase intentions directly (culture image) and indirectly (people, politics, and evolution image) through the product evaluations. Practical implications of findings will be discussed and suggested as follows. First, this study complements the lack of researches on China among the studies regarding country image. Secondly, research results would help us to understand the perception on China's country image of Korean consumers' and to seek the criteria by which consumers evaluate goods made in China. Finally, this research can help Chinese companies to make market strategies effectively when they entering Korean market by exploring the factors which have strong influences on Korean consumers' purchase behaviors.

소비자의 도덕적 동기와 주행 거리가 전기 자동차의 유용성 지각 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Moral Motivation and Driving Distance on the Perceived Usefulness and Purchase Intention of Electric Vehicles)

  • Purpose - This study examines the effect of consumers' motivations on the perception and purchase intentions of electric cars. Specifically, it empirically analyzes how moral motivations based on personal environmental values and norms in car usage and purchasing influence the perceived usefulness and purchase intentions of electric cars. Furthermore, it investigates whether the influence of moral motivations on perceived usefulness and purchase intentions varies according to the user's driving characteristics. Design/methodology/approach - An online survey was conducted with 234 respondents, by setting criteria for participants as car owners or primary car users within their households, ensuring the sample composition was not biased in terms of the presence or absence of experience with eco-friendly cars. Findings - The research findings indicate that perceived usefulness mediates the effect of consumers' moral motivations on their intention to purchase electric cars. The results of the moderating effect of driving distance on perceived usefulness revealed a significant interaction effect; however, there was no significant interaction effect on purchase intentions. Specifically, for individuals with shorter driving distances, as consumers' moral motivations increase, their perception of the usefulness of electric cars also increases. In contrast, for those with longer driving distances, the increase in perceived usefulness due to moral motivations shows a decreasing trend. Research implications or Originality - This study considered individual driving characteristics that previous research on electric vehicle adoption overlooked, and suggested that setting specific communicating points for electric cars according to driving distance levels might be effective. Lastly, it proposes directions for future research that motivations influencing eco-friendly vehicle purchases may differ based on driving characteristics

계획된 행동이론(TPB)을 이용한 소비자의 대체육 구매의도에 관한 연구 (A Study of Consumers' Intentions to Purchase Alternative Meats Using the Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • Based on the theory of planned behavior, this study aims to examine the structural equation model among consumers' concerns and purchase intentions for alternative meats. Data were collected from 300 adults living in Kyeonggi Province. Results show that animal welfare, environmental concern, and health concern all have a direct and significant effect on purchase intention of alternative meat, and the mediation effect is also significant, indicating a partial mediation effect. The image of a company as caring about animal welfare and contributing to public causes can help sell alternative meats. Media publicity focusing on animal welfare for alternative meats can improve the attitudes of domestic consumers as well as their intention to purchase alternative meat products.

  • This study aimed to examine the choice motives for organic coffee and investigate how these motives influence consumer attitudes and purchase intentions regarding organic coffee. A survey was administered to people visiting organic coffee shops in Seoul. Analyses of frequency, descriptive statistics, factor and reliability, ANOVA, correlation, and regression were conducted using SPSS 20.0. Six factors were demonstrated as motives for choosing organic coffee: health, price, reliability, familiarity, sensory appeal, and environment friendliness. Among six factors, "reliability" and "environment friendliness" were positively associated with consumer attitudes, which had a significant impact on purchase intentions. This study is one of the first to examine the relationship between consumer attitudes and purchase intentions focusing on organic coffee. Although the organic coffee market has high potential, its theoretical background has been under developed. By revealing choice motives for organic coffee, this study could provide basic information on how to satisfy consumer needs and promote purchasing. In addition, by understanding needs of diverse and specific coffee consumer groups, effective marketing strategies can be developed with a focus on organic coffee. Especially, environment-friendly and reliable organic coffee can satisfy consumers, maximize profits, and improve brand value.

점포이미지가 유통업체상표이미지 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 부산지역 전국유통업체와 지역유통업체를 중심으로 - (The Effects of Store Image on Private Brand Image and Purchase Intentions - Comparison of National Distributors with Local Distributors in Pusan -)

  • 본 연구에서는 점포이미지, 유통업체상표이미지, 구매의도간의 인과관계를 규명해보는 건으로 부산지역의 전국유통업체와 지역유통업체의 비교를 통해 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 점포이미지가 유통업체이미지에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 둘째, 점포별 점포이미지가 유통업체이미지에 미치는 영향의 차이를 조사하였다. 마지막으로, 점포이미지와 유통업체상표이미지가 유통업체상표구매의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 연구 결과 유통업체상표이미지에 있어 점포이미지는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 점포별로 점포이미지가 유통업체상표이미지에 미치는 영향은 차이가 남을 알 수 있었다 또한, 점포이미지와 유통업체상표이미지가 유통업체상표 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 났으며 점포이미지의 영향보다는 유통업체상표이미지의 영향이 구매의도에 더 크게 작용하고 있었다. 연구결과를 토대로 유통업체는 점포이미지의 개선을 통해 유통업상표에 대한 인식을 형성하는 것이 바람직하다고 할 수 있으며, 특히, 점포속성들중에서 특정요소를 부각시킴으로써 유통업체상표를 관리할 필요성을제시하였다.

의복의 속성 지각이 의류제품의 선호와 구매 의도에 미치는 영향 -여대생의 의복 관여를 중심으로- (A Study on the Influence of the Attribute Perception of Clothing upon Preference and Purchase Intentions)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the substance of clothing attributes which influence the preference and purchase intentions of consumer's on the clothing products and to analyze the influence of such attributes. The subjects of this study are 434 students and formal survey methodologies were used in collecting data. Moreover SAS Package(Ver 6,12) Program was used for analysis and various methods such as factor analysis cluster analysis ANOVA Scheffe test conjoint analysis multiple regression correlation analysis and {{{{ chi ^2 }}-test were followed. The results of this study were as follows : 1) Clothing involvement consists of the affective factor and the cognitive factor 2) The consumers were divided into three groups with regards to the degree of their clothing involvement : those are the high cognitive and high affective involvement group the low cognitive and high affective involvement group and the low cognitive and low affective involvement group 3) The objective attributes of clothing were determined by such factors as price brand style and color whereas the subjective and fashionability 4) Significant differences were found regarding the importance of such clothing attributes among these groups 5) Partial significant differences were found regarding the importance of such clothing attributes among these groups. 5) Partial significant differences were found with regards to the influence of the objective attributes on the subjective attributes among these groups 6) Partial significant differences were found with regards to the influence of clothing attributes on the preference and purchase intentions among these groups. 7) There were differences in the correlation of preference and purchase intentions among these groups : such among these groups with regards to the demographic characteristics of these groups.
