The primary purpose of this study is to identify determinants influencing Vietnamese consumers' purchase intention towards Japanese convenience goods. The research model consisting of six factors affecting the dependent variable is proposed based on the Theory of Consumption Values and Theory of Perceived Value of purchase. This study employs a survey method in a convenient sampling method to collect data of target respondents. Data consisting of 180 samples was collected and analyzed using the SMARPLS3 software. The measurement model is assessed to confirm the validity and reliability of the construct, then hypotheses testing is performed with Bootstrapping analysis. The results demonstrated that five factors affect Vietnamese consumers' purchase intention towards Japanese convenience goods, including the price of the product, quality of the product, functional value, emotional value, and conditional value. Major findings of this study suggest that the functional value that consumer perceives about Japanese convenience goods has the most significant relationship with their purchase intention, followed by the quality of the product and the price of the product. Besides, emotional value and conditional value have a moderate influence on consumers' purchase intention. Whereas the influence of the epistemic value of the product on consumers' purchase intention is insignificant in this presented study.

Purpose: The furniture industry has a huge potential for growth in Indonesia. Due to Indonesia's vast natural resources, furniture designers, makers, and retailers are given ease of access. The research analyzes the influence of service quality, promotion, product, and price on brand image and purchase intention in Indonesia's furniture distribution channels. Research design, data, and methodology: The variables used are service quality, promotion, product, price, brand image, and purchase intention. This research is cross-sectional research, which will be conducted among the furniture consumers in Indonesia, from the Instagram followers of a community as of 31 July 2023 with 837.5 thousand followers. The tools that will be used are surveys, conducted according to the sample size and processed using SMARTPLS 4 and the SEM-PLS model. Results: The findings urge that some variables have a significant influence on purchase intention directly but become less significant when influenced by brand image. Some variables can influence purchase intentions significantly through brand image, even if the certain variable did not have a significant influence on purchase intention directly. Conclusions: By knowing the significance of the variables towards brand image and purchase intention, ones with major influence can be implemented as a strategy to improve marketing in Indonesian furniture distributors.
The purposes of this study were to analyze the effects of the experience realms (entertainment, educational, escapist, and esthetic) of augmented fashion reality applications on consumers' pleasure, satisfaction, intention of reuse, and purchase intention. This study is based on the survey subjecting those who have an iPhone. A total of 207 questionnaires were processed in analysis. Descriptive analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS ver. 18.0. The results are as follows. First, entertainment and esthetic experience positively influenced consumers' pleasure. Second, entertainment, educational and esthetic experience positively influenced satisfaction. Third, pleasure positively affected satisfaction. Forth, both pleasure and satisfaction positively influenced intention of reuse and purchase intention. Fifth, there were significant differences in the effects of the experience realms of augmented fashion reality applications on pleasure, satisfaction, intention of reuse, and purchase intention by gender. In conclusion, pleasure and satisfaction that influence reuse intention and purchase intention were influenced by the experience realms. When consumers feel satisfaction and pleasure in experience realms of augmented fashion reality applications, they are more likely to reuse of an augmented reality fashion application, and to purchase the products consumers were implementing an augmented reality fashion application for.
Social Network Services (SNS) have become a vital means of shopping, significantly influencing consumers' purchases of fashion products. The aim of this study was to identify bandwagon consumption among fashion consumers and to analyze the effects of bandwagon consumption on negative emotions, purchase discontinuation, and switching intention. A survey questionnaire was developed, and data were obtained from 285 female consumers in Korea aged in their 20s and 30s who had experienced guilt, regret, or disappointment after purchasing fashion products using SNS during the previous six months. The survey results indicated four different types of band- wagon consumption: intentional, impulsive, unintentional, and planned. The presence of negative emotions such as guilt, disappointment, and regret were affected by different types of bandwagon consumption. Intentional bandwagon consumption only affected guilt, while unintentional bandwagon consumption affected both guilt and disappointment. Impulsive bandwagon consumption affected guilt and regret; however, planned bandwagon consumption only affected regret. Furthermore, negative emotions affected purchase discontinuation and switching intention. Planned bandwagon con- sumption had an effect on both purchase discontinuation and switching intention, while both impulsive and unintentional bandwagon consumption influenced switching intention only. Intentional bandwagon consumption had no effect on either purchase discontinuation or switching intention. The results of this study indicate that SNS consumers' bandwagon consumption causes different negative emotions, purchase discontinuation, and switching intention.

The study aims to investigate the antecedents affecting purchase intention in the category of green skincare products. Many studies have used the theory of planned behavior to investigate factors affecting intention to purchase products in general. This paper not only retests the influences of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control on the intention to buy eco-friendly skincare products but also suggests a new antecedent - environment knowledge of purchase intention. More importantly, this study is the first to propose the moderating effect of country of origin and product knowledge on the relationship between attitude and purchase intention. This study employs a sample of 350 female customers from 18 to 39 years old in Ho Chi Minh City. The research applies the Multiple Linear Regression to analyze the proposed hypotheses in the conceptual framework and results in significant outcomes. The result shows that attitude is the most influential factor then, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and environmental knowledge. Most importantly, the findings of this study suggest that product knowledge is found to moderate the effect of attitude on purchase intention. The finding of moderating effect is a new contribution to the literature and future research can be carried out to validate this result.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between product characteristics, product preference and purchase intention for Mongolian tourists visiting Korea, and in particular, to analyze the moderating effect of product involvement and tourist image in the relationship between product characteristics and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology: A research model was derived through existing literature research and a survey was conducted on Mongolian tourists visiting Korea. SPSS and AMOS24.0 were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. Results: The tourism product characteristics affect the product preference and purchase intention. Tourist image and involvement have moderating effects between product preference and purchased intention. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that product characteristics at travel destinations is a key factor in order to enhance the product preference and purchase intention for foreigners visiting Korea. On the other hand, since the purchase intention of the tourism destination vary depending on tourist image and involvement, it suggests that travel industry practitioners or researchers should try to various efforts to enhance the factors which affect the involvement or the tourists or image of the tourist site.
This study identified the purchase decision-making process of outdoor wear consumers and examined the hypothesis that consumer satisfaction mediates the relationship between purchase decision-making process and repurchase intention. Data were acquired from a survey and analyzed with descriptive, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. Respondents were 454 adults who have purchased outdoor wear. The results are as follows. First, the purchase decision-making processes of outdoor wear consumers consisted of a series of steps: need recognition & passive information search, active information search, evaluation of alternatives with practical attributes, evaluation of alternatives with unpractical attributes, purchase decision, and post-purchase evaluation. Second, four purchase decision-making processes (except for need recognition & passive information search and active information search) had significantly positive effects on consumer satisfaction. Third, the need recognition & passive information search, the evaluation of alternatives with unpractical attributes and post-purchase evaluation had significantly positive effects on repurchase intention. Lastly, the partial mediation of consumer satisfaction in the relationship between two purchase decision-making processes (evaluation of alternatives with unpractical attributes and post-purchase evaluation) and repurchase intention were indicated. This academic study will help to understand the purchase decision-making processes of outdoor wear and allow companies to obtain information (from the industrial aspect) about which process to invest in and how to manage the process.
This study had two aims. First, the study intended to identify the influences of product benefits and product identification on consumers' purchase intention, Second, it wanted to assess the moderating effects of consumers' aesthetic seeking tendency on their decision-making process. Based on the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) paradigm and the product personality-brand identification-purchase intention model, this study proposed a research model, the benefits-product identification-purchase intention model. To test the model, a survey was conducted of female college students; a total of 298 questionnaires were analyzed. The stimulus used was a popular model of Nike running footwear: the Luna Eclipse+2. Factor analysis and structural equation analysis were conducted to analyze the research model. The results indicate : (1) The aesthetic benefit influenced product identification positively. The aesthetic benefit, functional benefit and product identification were all positively related to purchase intention. (2) The aesthetic seeking tendency mediated the influences of product benefits on consumers' purchase intention in the decision-making process. For consumers in the 'high' level group of aesthetic seeking tendency, aesthetic benefit and social benefit affected purchase intention and for consumers in the 'low' level group of aesthetic seeking tendency, the functional benefit only affected purchase intention. Based on this study, we find evidence that product benefits and aesthetic seeking tendency play important roles in consumers' decision-making process in product purchase.
As economic profits and social influences of firms grow with economic development and their organizational expansion, consumers increasingly require firms to have their social responsibility. Because social responsibility strongly influences corporate reliability, consumers' intention to purchase, customer loyalty to the products and the recognition of an ethical firm have gained attention as a concept of strategical importance. The prosperity of society should be proceeded for the sustainable development of a firm and the necessity of social responsibility should be emphasized to achieve virtuous circle structure that promotes growth. Additionally, the social responsibility should be proceeded to form trust on a firm. It is very important to change the recognition of consumers to purchase products and increase the profit of a company. This study aims to analyze how social responsibility properties of firms (economic, ethical, discretionary, and legal aspects as low-level factors of social responsibility which Carroll (1979) defined) affect corporate reliability and purchase intention. The analysis found that consumers trust in firms are positively influenced by ethical responsibility (0.391), economic responsibility (0.293), legal responsibility (0.251), and discretionary responsibility (0.248). The relationship between sub-factor of social responsibility and purchase intention is not significantly influenced by other explanatory variables. Corporate trust exerts a direct influence on purchase Intention (0.456). The social responsibility of a firm didn't influence a direct purchase intention. It was found that it brought positive effect on the purchase intention in the course of forming trust. This study suggests that firms should make efforts to understand the relationship between corporate trust and purchase intention along with the characteristics of social responsibility that consumers recognize and improve management strategies for mutual complementary interests.
With the gradual in-depth use of social elements, music social networking has attracted more and more attention and discussion in the industry. Therefore, starting from the user experience theory and purchase intention theory, this paper explores the mechanism of user social experience and purchase intention in mobile music applications, and adds the mediating role of brand attachment on the basis of literature research. Based on previous studies on user experience measurement of social network and evaluation report of mobile music applications in the industry, and combined with in-depth interviews of users, whether the user experience of mobile music applications, which pays more and more attention to social elements, has an impact on purchase intention or not? What specific social experience can help form purchase intention? Are mediating variables at work? In practice, a total of 398 formal questionnaires were collected to obtain first-hand data. Later, reliability analysis, factor analysis and structural equation model test were carried out successively to verify the hypothesis. According to the results of empirical research, firstly, content experience, atmosphere experience and interactive experience in users' social experience of mobile music applications have a significant impact on brand attachment, secondly, atmosphere experience has a significant impact on purchase intention, and thirdly, brand attachment has a significant impact on users' purchase intention. Fourthly, brand attachment plays an intermediary role in the relationship between users' atmosphere experience and content experience and purchase intention. Based on the above research conclusions, the author puts forward corresponding marketing strategy Suggestions, which have certain guiding significance for mobile music applications to improve users' purchase intention, and have certain reference significance for the development of mobile music applications and the expansion of business model.
