가변용량형 사판식 액셜피스톤 펌프의 모델링 및 사판 강인 제어기 설계 (Modeling and Robust Controller Design of a Swash Plate for Swash Plate Type Variable Displacement Axial Piston Pump)

  • A robust controller is proposed for regulating effectively the pressure of control cylinder of swash plate type variable displacement axial piston pump. In order to design a precise and robust pressure control system, a mathematical model for swash plate control system is identified by the signal compression method. Based on the identified mathematical model, an $H_{\infty}$ robust swash plate controller is designed which is robust to the variation of the load pressure. The precise and robust swash plate control characteristics are verified by experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 압전유압펌프가 적용된 브레이크 등가 유압회로를 구성하고, 유압회로의 가감압 특성 실험 및 부하압 제어에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 유압회로의 가감압 특성을 파악하기 위해 펌프 입력 전압에 따른 부하압 형성 실험을 수행하였고, 솔레노이드 밸브 특성이 감압에 미치는 효과를 파악하는 실험을 수행하였다. 가압 특성 실험을 통해 유압회로의 부하압 상승에 필요한 과도응답시간은 압력상승 구배를 조절하는 전압제어를 적용하여 개선할 수 있음을 확인하였고, 감압시는 솔레노이드 밸브 특성을 활용한 밸브 개폐시간 제어와 전압제어를 통해 과도응답시간 개선이 가능함을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 제어기법을 적용하여 부하압 제어실험을 수행한 결과, 가압의 경우 10ms 이내로, 감압의 경우 30ms 이내로 과도응답시간을 개선할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 제안된 부하압 제어기법은 압전유압펌프가 적용된 유압 브레이크 회로의 부하압을 제어하는데 매우 유용할 것으로 판단된다.

  • In this paper, a real-time simulation model of an excavator using Amesim was proposed, considered the operation of functional valves with the main control valve (MCV). The hydraulic system models including the pump and MCV have been developed. The kinematic and dynamic models of the manipulator have also been developed, to confirm the behavior of the excavator. The MCV model includes various functional valves such as the regenerative valves, holding valves, swing and boom priority valves, and regen-cut valves so that simulations similar to real excavators can be performed. Additionally, to obtain the real-time calculation performance, the parts with no major influence on the dynamic behavior were simplified, high frequency factors were removed, and parameters were optimized. The models were compared with each other through the numerical analysis with variable time-step and fixed time-step, and the results were verified by comparison with the results of the actual vehicle tests.

  • This study developed the virtual operation system for the hydraulic pump system for marine usage. The scope of this study is to develop a process dynamic simulation model for the hydraulic pump system for marine usage, to investigate the process dynamic characteristics using the models, to accomplish the logic diagram for the PLC control and to achieve a human-machine interface (HMI) for the convenience of operators to monitor and control the process. The virtual operation system provides a virtual operation environment for the pumping system, enabling the operators to simulate the change of process variables. The system will assist in developing advanced control logics and then optimal design of the system.

무공해자동차용 R134a 히트펌프 시스템의 난방성능 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Heating Performance Improvement of R134a Heat Pump System for Zero Emission Vehicles)

  • This paper describes an experimental study for heating performance that can be used in R-134a automobile heat pump systems. The heat pump system is widely studied for heating system in zero-emission vehicles to attain both the small power consumption and the effective heating of the cabin. This paper presents the experimental results of the influence on heating capacity and coefficient of performance of heat pump system. Tests were performed with different sizes of internal and external heat exchangers, and refrigerant flow rate was also considered in two-way flow devices. In addition, the heat, air, and water sources with the heat pump system were examined. The experimental results with the heat pump system were used to analyze the impact on performances. The best combination of performance was A-inside heat exchanger, B-outside heat exchanger, and B-flow device, respectively. In addition, a water heat-source was found to give roughly 40% of better performance than an air heat-source heat pump system.

EHA용 가변용적형 사판식 유압 피스톤 펌프의 하이브리드 제어 (Hybrid control of the swash plate-type variable displacement hydraulic piston pump for an EHA)

  • 본 논문에서는 압력보상형 사판식 유압 피스톤 펌프와 밸브 제어형 실린더를 결합한 EHA에 대하여 유압 실린더의 소비 유량이 작으면 펌프 회전 속도를 낮추는 새로운 개념의 하이브리드형 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 펌프 내 압력조절기의 사판각 제어와 간섭을 피하기 위해 위치 명령 신호의 속도 성분 평균치를 이용하여 펌프의 회전속도를 조절하였고, 시스템 압력이 기준치 이하로 낮아지는 것을 방지하기 위해 압력 스위치 기능을 추가하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실험 결과에 의하면, EHA의 동적인 응답 특성에 영향을 주지 않는 조건에서 하이브리드 제어를 통해 공전 모드에서의 펌프 회전속도를 1,800rpm에서 600rpm로 낮춤으로써 하이브리드 제어를 안 할 경우에 비해 펌프 구동 동력을 약 44%까지 절감시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • The feed-water piping system constitutes a complex flow impedance network incorporating dynamic transfer characteristics which will amplify some pulsation frequencies. Understanding pressure pulsation waves for the feed-water recirculation piping system with cavitation problem of flow control valve is very important to prevent acoustic resonance. Feed water recirculation piping system is excited by potential sources of the shock pulse waves by cavitation of flow control valve. The pulsation becomes the source of structural vibration at the piping system. If it coincides with the natural frequency of the pipe system, excessive vibration results. High-level vibration due to the pressure pulsation affects the reliability of the plant piping system. This paper discusses the piping vibration due to the effect of shock pulsation by the cavitation of the flow control valves for the recirculation piping of feed-water pump system in combined cycle power plants.

  • This study is a first step toward reducing surge pressure, and it has another purpose, which is to developing an analysis model which can closely analyze a hydraulic circuit and be used in design. For development of analysis model, SimulationX, a commercial program, is used. The study progress methods are as follows. By analyzing the structure and operating mechanisms of each part of the hydraulic system of the pump truck and referring its parameters, develop a single component model. Assemble the developed single component model, and make an overall analysis the model. By comparing the similarities between the developed model and the actual system's test results, validate the reliability of the analysis model.

압력 비평형형 유압 베인 펌프의 토출 압력 맥동 특성 연구 (A Study on the Discharge Pressure Ripple Characteristics of the Pressure Unbalanced Vane Pump)

  • This paper reports on the theoretical and experimental study of the pressure ripples in a pressure unbalanced type vane pump which have widespread use in industry. Because they can infinitely vary the volume of the fluid pumped in the system by a control. Pressure ripples occur due to the flow ripples induced by geometry of side plate, leakage flow, reverse flow from the outlet volume produced by pressure difference between pumping chamber and outlet volume when the pumping chamber connected with the outlet volume. In this paper, we measured the pressure variation of a pumping chamber, reaction force on a cam ring, the mathematical model for analyzing the pressure ripples which included vane detachment and fluid inertia effects in notch area has been presented, and was applied to predict the level and the wave form of the pressure ripples according to operating conditions.
