To investigate the difference of sweating reaction on somato types. We measured total sweat rate, locl sweat rate, skin temperature, physiological reactions and psyschological reactions at $25{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ and $25{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ under laboratory conditions. Nine healthy adult females were divided into three somato types (slender(3), normal(3) and obese type(3)). The results were as follows; Total sweat rate was highest in obese type, and then comes normal type and slender type in order. Local sweat rate was highest in infrascapular area, and then breast, the back of the hand, upperarm, ant. leg, and ant. thigh in order in all somato types. Mean skin temperature was highest in slender type, and then normal type and obese type in order. Rectal temperature, blood pressure and pulse rate were highest in boese type. Psychological reactions were appeared 'hot' 'humid' 'sweat' as ambient temperature go up. And somato types make little difference in psychological reactions.
In this study, we analyzed two types of echolocation calls used by the parti-coloured bat, Vespertilio sinensis. Bats were captured in the Naejangsan National Park in October 2013. Call sounds of hand-released bats were recorded at the location of capture within the National Park. We analyzed pulse duration (PD), pulse interval (PI), peak frequency (PF), maximum frequency ($F_{MAX}$), minimum frequency ($F_{MIN}$), and bandwidth (BW). V. sinensis emitted the different types of the echolocation calls depending on the surrounding environment. Frequency modulated-constant frequency (FM-CF) signal of audible range was emitted when they flew in the uncluttered space over the canopy. However, when flying in the cluttered space below the canopy, they only emitted FM signal. FM-CF signal is in the audible range (e.g., low frequency), and FM signal has a harmonic broadband frequency range of two. There were significant differences in PD, PI, PF, FMAX, FMIN, and BW between the calls emitted over and below the canopy. Considering the functional characteristics of FM and CF signals, we conclude that the foraging activity of V. sinensis was observed below the canopy, and recommend the use of FM signal and broadband as echolocation signals.

This paper describes that the distribution of electromagnetic field occurred by PD(Partial Discharge) pulse was calculated with simulation program and characteristics of calibration and PD pulses measured with folded dipole types sensors were analyzed. As the distribution of electromagnetic field in simulation was very random the wide band measuring methods were good. Therefore three folded dipole antenna types sensors which had different their widths were designed and made. The signal according to direction and distance between sensor and pulse source in these sensor was measured and the spectrum of surface PD were acquired in the experiment of model transformer. In this result the characteristics of sensor which had middle width was better than others and the main spectrum of PD signals in surface discharge were existed in around 220MHz, 320MHz and from 450MHz to 750MHz.
This study was conducted to examine the comfortability of wearing pantyhose in summer. To satisfy this purpose. 4 types of pantyhose were chosen from the market: a Mono type(M), a Wooly type(W), and two Support types(Sl, S2), were chosen. After the performances of samples were measured, these were worn by 8 healthy adult women. Under the summer field environment, psychological comfort ability was examined through the 5 steps of SD method. Physiological comfort ability was examined by measuring the body reactions(clothing pressure, skin temperature, total body weight loss, rectal temperature, pulse rates, and blood pressure), under the artificial environment($28.5{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$, $82{\pm}3%$). The results of this examination were as follows : The order of comfortability which people felt in the field was W>M>S1>S2. The number of items which showed the highest correlation with comfort ability decreased and the correlation was lowered on the whole as time went by. There was positive high correlation between the performances of samples and comfort ability in compressibility, air permeability, water vapor permeability, while a negative high correlation in thickness, weight, compressional resiliency, strain (course) and moisture regain. The mean skin temperature was in the comfort zone, and rectal temperature, pulse rates, blood pressure were mostly in the normal range. Also it was showed that the correlation between the performance of samples and body reactions, except total body weight loss, was low.
This study was performed to investigate types and formation mechanism of cracks in two Al alloy welds, A5083 and A7N01 spot-welded by pulse Nd : YAG laser, using SEM, EPMA and Micro-XRD. In the weld zone, three types of crack were observed : center line crack({TEX}$C_{C}${/TEX}), diagonal crack({TEX}$C_{D}${/TEX}), and U shape crack({TEX}$C_{U}${/TEX}). Also, HAZ crack({TEX}$C_{H}${/TEX}) was observed in the HAZ region, furthermore, mixing crack({TEX}$C_{M}${/TEX}) consisting of diagonal crack and HAZ crack was observed. White film was formed at th hot crack region in the fractured surface after it was immersed to 10% NaOH water. In the case of A5083 alloy, white films in {TEX}$C_{C}${/TEX} crack and {TEX}$C_{D}${/TEX} crack region were composed of low melting phases, {TEX}$Fe_{2}SiAl_{8}${/TEX} and eutectic phases, $Mg_2$Al$_3$ and $Mg_2$Si. Such films observed $CuAl_2$, {TEX}$Mg_{32}(Al,Zn)_{3}${/TEX}, MgZn$_2$, $Al_2$CuMg and $Mg_2$Si were observed in the whitely etched films near {TEX}$C_{C}${/TEX} crack and {TEX}$C_{D}${/TEX} crack regions. The formation of liquid films was due to the segregation of Mg, Si, Fe in the case of A5083 alloy and Zn, Mg, Cu, Sim in the case of A7N01 alloy, respectively. The {TEX}$C_{C}${/TEX} and {TEX}$C_{D}${/TEX} cracks were regarded as a result of the occurrence of tensile strain during the welding process. The formation of {TEX}$C_{M}${/TEX} crack is likely to be due to the presence of liquid film at the grain boundary near the fusion line in the base metal as well as in the weld fusion zone during solidification. The {TEX}$C_{U}${/TEX} crack is considered a result of the collapsed keyhole through incomplete closure during rapid solidification.

This paper dealt with a defect identification algorithm which is based on single partial discharge (PD) pulse analysis in gas insulated structure. Four types of electrode systems such as a needle-plane, a plane-needle, a free particle and a crack inside spacer were fabricated to simulate defects in gas insulated switchgear (GIS). We measured single PD pulse by an oscilloscope with a sampling rate of 5 GS/s and a frequency bandwidth of 1 GHz. Data aquisition and signal processing were controlled by a LabVIEW program. Physical shapes of PD pulses were compared with kurtosis, skewness and time-based parameters as rising time, falling time and pulse-width. These parameters were analysed by an algorithm with a back propagation algorithm (BPA). By applying the algorithm, the identification rate was 97% for the needle-plane electrode, 96% for the plane-needle electrode, 91% for the free particle and 93% for the crack inside spacer. The results verified that the algorithm could identify the type of defects in GIS.

The electromagnetic pulse(EMP) is a general term for high-output electromagnetic waves, and is classified into EMP generated from nuclear weapons, non-nuclear EMP, and EMP generated by natural phenomena. Electromagnetic pulses are means that can cause fatal damage to all electronic devices with electromagnetic elements, such as communication devices, mobile phones, computers, TVs, and means of transportation. In this study, the electromagnetic pulse(EMP) shielding effectiveness evaluation of paints according to the type and amount of carbon material was conducted to develop EMP shielding inorganic paint using carbon materials. In order to analyze the improvement of compatibility and dispersibility between materials, experiments were conducted two times with about 27 types of mixture proportions, and the electromagnetic pulse shielding effectiveness was evaluated by the electrical resistance measurement method. As a result of applying the EMP shielding paint developed through this study to shielding concrete, it was confirmed that the shielding performance was improved from about 25 dB to a maximum of 40 dB.

In this paper, we propose interleaved super-orthogonal convolutional coded ultra wide-band impulse radio(ISOC-UWB-IR) system, and analyze its performance. The proposed system uses interleaver and deinterleaver to decorrelate the temporal correlation of the fading process and to obtain the diversity gain. We also suggest the three types of interleavers, which are pulse-wise interleaver(PI), pulse sub-group-wise interleaver(PSGI), and pulse group-wise interleaver(PGI). Performance analysis result shows that the interleaving scheme, rather than the code rate of super orthogonal convolutional code(SOC) encoder, affects the performance for the Rayleigh fading channel.

Magnetic encoder with relatively low pulse per rotation is generally used for detecting speed of the high-speed rotating machine. It is due to the fact of the mechanical problems of vibration and bearing stiffness and also the limit of maximum output pulse of the mounted encoder. The magnetic encoder is divided into two types, that is, toothed gear-wheel method and magnetic wheel method according to the shape of the rotation disk. In case of detecting speed by the tooth gear-wheel, the encoder itself can be acted as the additional inertia where the number of tooth determining the output pulse and the width of the wheel detecting the change of the magnetic flux density are relatively enough large considering the volume of the rotating machine. While the magnetic wheel method has the limit of the magnetizing number of the ring magnet, there is relatively few, if nv, the influence of inertia on the machine. In this paper, it is proposed a simple magnetic wheel encoder suited for the high speed rotating machine and the method of signal processing and the output characteristics are examined through the V/F operation of max 48,000(rpm) and 2.4(KW) spindle motor.
