A study on Light Tracking using Intel's 8080 microprocessor (INTEL 8080 microprocessor를 이용한 광추적에 관한 연구)

  • Solar energy has its advantages not to be interruped by anything, which is wing to not only limitlessness in its source but shortness in its wave. Availing of tha advantages, we can look forword to vast allication. This study whose aim is to raise the effectuality of it by means of chasing the source correctly, which is to be acheved by the circularty of sensor. The consequence has been gained by two sensors is amplified and transfered to TTL leveland becomes "INPUT DATA" of INTE 8080CPU. The INTEL 8080CPU whose system is machinated to give cotrol pulse to moter driving circuit has the source and the sensors placed correctly on the basis of the data. DC motor taskes the advantage not to be in need of UP/DOWN counter, which is defferent from stepping motor. The system is composed of light detector, A/C converter, INPUT Interface, INTEL 8080 CPU, OUTPUT Interface, notor driving circiut. We can give correct chase to light experimentally as far as an error is the space of 1.2.ce of 1.2.

X-band Pulsed Doppler Radar Development for Helicopter (헬기 탑재 X-밴드 펄스 도플러 레이다 시험 개발)

  • An airborne radar is an essential aviation electronic system for the aircraft to perform various civil and/or military missions in all weather environments. This paper presents the design, development, and test results of the multi-mode X-band pulsed Doppler radar system test model for helicopter-borne flight test. This radar system consists of 4 LRUs(Line-Replacement Unit), which include antenna unit, transmitter and receiver unit, radar signal & data processing unit and display Unit. The developed core technologies include the planar array antenna, TWTA transmitter, coherent I/Q detector, digital pulse compression, MTI, DSP based Doppler FFT filter, adaptive CFAR, moving clutter compensation, platform motion stabilizer, and tracking capability. The design performance of the developed radar system is verified through various ground fixed and moving vehicle test as well as helicopter-borne field tests including MTD(Moving Target Detector) capability for the Doppler compensation due to the moving platform motion.

Method of a Multi-mode Low Rate Speech Coder Using a Transient Coding at the Rate of 2.4 kbit/s (전이구간 부호화를 이용한 2.4 kbit/s 다중모드 음성 부호화 방법)

  • The low rate speech coders under 4 kbit/s are based on sinusoidal transform coding (STC) or multiband excitation (MBE). Since the harmonic coders are not efficient to reconstruct the transient segments of speech signals such as onsets, offsets, non-periodic signals, etc, the coders do not provide a natural speech quality. This paper proposes method of a efficient transient model :d a multi-mode low rate coder at 2.4 kbit/s that uses harmonic model for the voiced speech, stochastic model for the unvoiced speech and a model using aperiodic pulse location tracking (APPT) for the transient segments, respectively. The APPT utilizes the harmonic model. The proposed method uses different models depending on the characteristics of LPC residual signals. In addition, it can combine synthesized excitation in CELP coding at time domain with that in harmonic coding at frequency domain efficiently. The proposed coder shows a better speech quality than 2.4 kbit/s version of the mixed excitation linear prediction (MELP) coder that is a U.S. Federal Standard for speech coder.

Distinction and Tracking of Multiple Pingers Using a Single Frequency (단일 주파수에 의한 복수의 초음파 핑거의 식별 및 추적)

  • To testy time division scheme, we performed some experiments in a circular water tank(13m in diameter and 1m deep). A result of that is shown in figure 4. The 2-dimensional position of the pinger was calculated by the method of hyperbolic line of position calculation. The resolution of the time difference on the base line is 2.5cm. In experiments, the multiple pingers of a single frequency were distinguished and tracked successfully. When the experiment is carried out in the water tank, some multi-path pulses always occur. To delete it, several 10 ms of time delay is inserted onto the program after a group of the normal signals are received. Some normal pulses are not received by the time delay, however there is no problem, practically, for the distinction and the tracking of the pulse. In 2-dimensional positioning, the pinger position can be calculated with three hydrophones. However, if four hydrophones are available, the positioning accuracy will be higher than three hydrophones only by some techniques. Another good feature of the use of four hydrophones is that the positioning of the pinger is capable if a hydrophone fails in receiving them. We also tested this distinguishing method in the field using another type pingers(APPENDIXA).
