This paper addresses prospect of the technology for development of NxTIS (NeXt generation Transport Information System) that is targeted to shifting Korean public transit framework to railway-centered one. The Seoul metropolitan area has adopted the smart-card as a payment system for the public transportation since 2004. The transportation record can be used as quite useful information for better planning and operating of the railway system, particularly when the smart-card based payment system is extended to whole nation. This paper introduces technologies to develop Real OD DB and NxTIS, and presents road-map for them. A variety of benefits from the development of the system are estimated both in quantitative and qualitative. The Real OD DB based NxTIS will work to highly prospective for creating a novel value in the railway as a public transportation system.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about many changes in our daily lives and in industries as a whole. The most notable change was the spread of the untact culture to minimize face-to-face contact. The spread of the untact culture has changed the use of public transportation. Looking at the results of previous SARS and MERS studies, it was found that as the pandemic spreads, the use of public transportation decreased. Recently, the mobility sharing service is attracting attention as a personalized means of transportation instead of public transportation. Therefore, in this study, the factors affecting the intention to use the mobility sharing service were to be identified by the actual users. In this study, economic benefit, convenience, sustainability, and sense of belonging were set as independent variables based on previous studies. In addition, the relationship between the perceived usefulness and perceived pleasure of these factors of use on intention to use was empirically analyzed through PLS-SEM. As a result of the study, it was found that economic benefits, convenience, sustainability, and sense of belongingness had a significant effect on intention to use through perceived usefulness and enjoyment. This study was meaningful in that it was verified through the study that economic benefits, convenience, sustainability, and a sense of belongingness were significant variables affecting the intention to use through usefulness and pleasure.

ITS는(지능형 교통 시스템: Intelligent Transport System)을 이용한 대중교통을 더욱 편리하게 이용하기 위하여 본 논문은 버스와 지하철의 도착 정보를 공용으로 서버처리 시스템을 연동하여 관리하고 네트워크로 실시간 정보를 사용자에게 전송하여 그로 인해 사용자가 편리하게 사용하며, 대중 교통 이용의 효율성을 위해서 관련된 기술이 최근 동향을 분석 간다.

본 논문에서 개발하고자 하는 기술은 국내 FIT(Free Independent Tour) 버스관광객에게 보다 편리한 버스이용 방법과 버스관광에 적합한 관광콘텐츠를 통합된 서비스로 제공하기 위한 플랫폼에 관한 것이다. 최근 버스 이용 환경 개선이 이루어짐과 동시에 대중교통을 이용한 휴양 목적의 FIT 관광객이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라서 관광객 수요에 부합하는 관광 플랫폼이 필요하다. 상세하게는 버스정보 제공 시스템을 보다 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 버스정보 공공API를 활용하여 버스정보 제공 알고리즘을 구현하고, 관광정보와 버스정보의 연계 정보 제공을 위해 사용자 이용행태 데이터 수집모듈과 데이터마이닝 모듈을 구현하여 대중교통을 이용하는 FIT 관광객을 대상으로 버스관광 서비스 제공을 위한 버스정류소 기반 콘텐츠 플랫폼을 개발하는 것이다.

교통분야의 환경오염, 석유자원고갈, 지구온난화 문제 등으로 내연기관 중심의 기존 교통시스템은 전기화를 기반으로 빠르게 재편되고 있다. 이에 수송효율이 뛰어난 친환경 대중교통수단이 향후 시장에 지속적으로 보급될 예정이다. 본 연구는 친환경 대중교통 수단들의 성공적인 도입을 위하여 대중교통 수단들의 기술적·사회적 요인들에 대한 이용 승객들의 인지적 특성을 비교분석하여 서비스 향상을 위한 방향 제시를 목표로 한다. 설문조사(N=485)를 통해 7가지 교통수단(전기버스, 수소버스, 경유버스, CNG버스, 지하철, 전기택시, 내연기관 택시)에 대한 7가지 요인(친환경성, 차내 청결성, 혼잡성, 도시 이미지, 가격경쟁력, 좌석 편안함, 승차감)의 평가가 진행되었으며, 이를 주성분분석을 활용해 분석하였다. 분석결과 잠재적 이용 승객들은 친환경 버스의 친환경성 및 도시 이미지 상승에 큰 기대를 가지고 있었으며, 기존 버스대비 차내 청결성 및 승차감도 뛰어날 것이라는 인식을 가지고 있음이 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 통하여 친환경 대중교통 수단들에 대한 승객들의 인지적 특성을 파악할 수 있었으며, 이들 결과가 친환경 교통수단의 이미지 포지셔닝 및 서비스 향상을 위한 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

Nowadays, the bus system of a metropolitan area is improving very fast. According to the bus, commuter railways increase their competitive power. For this, trains get the mobility increasing, effective transferring system and unified information service. For the mobility increasing, commuting railway must be faster by flexible train diagram and facilities improvement. And finally, optimal commuter train, 'Liner' is needful. And for effective transferring system, it is necessary that railway station and transferring center of a city be merged. And it is needful that direct management bus by railway company and unification fare system on metropolitan region. Next, for information service system improving, the commuting railway station must be regional transportation hub at first. And it is needful that unified line map of trunk line transportation systems and regionally collective transportation system information book. Therefore, metropolitan commuting railways compete with trunk line bus and cooperate with feeder line bus, and can make optimal metropolitan public transportation systems.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the user satisfaction of kiosk contents installed at bus stops in Seoul. A total of 400 kiosks, which are touch-based traffic information systems, are installed and operated, providing contents such as bus routes, marginal area, seoul tourism, life information, angel donation, transportation cards, magnifier and boarding requests. The study results showed that the user satisfaction scores of bus routes and transportation cards were high, but it was necessary to improve other contents. The results of this study will be used as basic data to propose user experience(UX) of public service design. We will also use it as content guidelines for public information kiosks to be developed in the future.

The new information service has been demanded due to the recent mobile internet activation, and the government is promoting the activation of the private use of the public data by putting up the Government 3.0. According to government policy, many public sectors provide public data, but the railway sector is inferior to other public sector. In the case of national railway corporation, urban railway is now operated by 14 corporations such as Seoul Metro through the nation and high-speed railway is now operated by Korea Railroad Corporation and Supreme Railways. It is very difficult to standardize and integrate data due to mutual interests of national railway corporation. This paper describes a way to standardize and integrate rail passengers information collected through research project.

기상상황(폭염, 폭우, 한파, 폭설)은 대중교통 통행 및 이용 패턴에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변수 중의 하나이며, 시스템의 예측가능성과 안정성을 중시하는 교통분야에서 이러한 기상의 영향을 이해하는 것은 매우 중요한 요소중의 하나이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는, 서울시를 대상으로 기상상황에 따른 대중교통 이용 변화를 분석하고 해석하고자 하였다. 먼저, 기상, 모바일폰통신, 대중교통카드 자료를 이용하여 각 기상 상황별 서울시 대중교통 이용 변화를 살펴보고, 가장 영향이 큰 폭설 상황을 기준으로 대중교통 이용패턴을 지역별로 분석하였다. 또한, 의사결정모델(Decision-tree Model)를 활용하여 각 영향 변수들 간의 복잡한 관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 분석결과, 폭설 시, 전체 통행에 대한 잠재수요는 감소하고, 대중교통으로의 수단 전환이 일어나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 강동 및 송파 지역과 강서, 구로, 양천, 영등포 지역은 대중교통 이용이 증가하였으며, 관악, 금천, 동작 지역은 상대적으로 큰 변화가 없는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 폭설 시 대중교통 출발량의 변화는 도보접근통행시간, 정류장 근처 주차 가용성 등이 중요한 역할을 하며, 도착량의 변화는 해당 도착지의 종사자 및 사업체 밀도와 밀접한 연관이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
