Objective : To provide background information for strengthening cervical cancer prevention in the Pacific by mapping current human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and cervical cancer screening practices, as well as intent and barriers to the introduction and maintenance of national HPV vaccination programmes in the region. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire-based survey among ministry of health officials from 21 Pacific Island countries and territories (n=21). Results: Cervical cancer prevention was rated as highly important, but implementation of prevention programs were insufficient, with only two of 21 countries and territories having achieved coverage of cervical cancer screening above 40%. Ten of 21 countries and territories had included HPV vaccination in their immunization schedule, but only two countries reported coverage of HPV vaccination above 60% among the targeted population. Key barriers to the introduction and continuation of HPV vaccination were reported to be: (i) Lack of sustainable financing for HPV vaccine programs; (ii) Lack of visible government endorsement; (iii) Critical public perception of the value and safety of the HPV vaccine; and (iv) Lack of clear guidelines and policies for HPV vaccination. Conclusion: Current practices to prevent cervical cancer in the Pacific Region do not match the high burden of disease from cervical cancer. A regional approach, including reducing vaccine prices by bulk purchase of vaccine, technical support for implementation of prevention programs, operational research and advocacy could strengthen political momentum for cervical cancer prevention and avoid risking the lives of many women in the Pacific.

Forests in the upstream contributed to improve the quality of water resources for the residents downstream. However, upon structural examination of how the Han River Watershed Management Fund was spent, it became apparent that the fund was not spent toward forest management in the upstream. An additional budget must be allocated if the Watershed Management Committee is to contribute to the management of the upstream forests with such awareness. Therefore, the aim of the study was to assess the willingness to pay and to calculate of budget for forest management in the upstream for water quality improvement. Three hundred surveys on watershed beneficiaries were conducted using biased sampling method. The result was analyzed with conditional logit model and mixed logit model. Forest management, a target variable, was found to have statistical significance. Based on this result, the size of the expected budget was estimated to be minimum 20,526 million won to maximum 20,928 million won.

Since global circumstances have become competitive, entrepreneurship has been regarded as the most important factors in economic revitalization not only in korea but also internationally. According to these changes, public entrepreneurship education has been started from the year of 2004 establishing Entrepreneurial Graduate School as a part of governmental plan. Although entrepreneurship education history is not long enough in korea, but the need for entrepreneurship education in social is now going ahead of the public education systems such as universities and graduate schools. Therefore, this study is conducted for the purpose of drawing the subject frame for systematized integration curriculum of entrepreneurship education through evaluating the importance of the subjects by Analytic Hierarchy Process analysis after being composed of 6 modularity in the Entrepreneurship subjects. This was structured based on studying the current status for entrepreneurship education in domestic universities and graduate schools. The research findings under the condition of Judgement consistency ratio 0.1 are as follows. The most important factors are in order as following; "Entrepreneurial Issues for Fund"(.242), "Entrepreneurship Plan"(.195), "Entrepreneurship & Entrepreneurship mindset"(.161), "Entrepreneurial Issues for Growth & Development"(.160), "Management Skill & Strategy"(.150), and "Special Entrepreneurship"(.093). Then, these findings also represent subfactors as well. The results of this study provide the practical guidelines where the curriculums needed for the entrepreneurship education at graduate schools by suggesting consistency for the systematic and comprehensive curriculum design. It was reflected the survey result from the graduate students taking the entrepreneurship subjects. Therefore, it will contribute the foundation of the present curriculum of Entrepreneurial Graduate School.

This study analyzes actor networks in regional innovation processes with a focus on actors' activities and finds the determinants of the networks, thereby aiming to provide information useful for regional innovation policy makers. To this end, the study conducted a social network analysis of the national R&D projects data and identified the activities of innovation actors. Finding out the network determinants was QAP analysis. The study suggests three main findings as follows. First, a meaningful difference exists in characteristics of innovation activity by region. Second, the network of innovation actors meaningfully differs from region to region. The centrality of the network was found to be high in universities and businesses in Seoul and Gyeonggi, and in public research institutes in Daejeon. There are regions where all the networks of innovative actors are composed of one component, while some regions are not yet established with the network. Finally, although the networks of innovation actors are influenced by the geographical proximity and the size of the R&D fund, it is notable that the previous continuous relationship forms a strong research network.

Objective: This study evaluated the health behavior level of urological cancer survivors after surgery. Understand the experience of change and identify the factors that affect it for health. Selection of the best intervention steps and effective intervention adopt a lifestyle. It is intended to contribute to the creation of basic data for development of guidelines. Methods: The study was conducted with patients diagnosed with urological cancer at a hospital in Seoul. Study data were obtained by having 100 patients who agreed to the study self-fill out a questionnaire through interviews, and the 2018 World Cancer Research Fund and American Institute for Cancer Research Score (2018 WCRF/AICR SCORE) was used to estimate the level of health behavior. Results: The study examines health behavior among urolgical cancer survivors based on the 2018 WCRF/AICR SCORE. Higher household income and younger age were associated with better health behavior scores, with those under 60 and earning over 3 million won being more likely to have higher scores. Conclusion: Based on these results, this study requires comprehensive data collection considering the missing variables, suggesting that high household income and young age can positively affect healthy behavior. In addition, we conclude that education for cancer survivors and development of strategies to bridge the health gap for low-income and elderly populations are necessary.

As artificial intelligence (AI) technology is recognized as a key technology that will determine future national competitiveness, competition for AI technology and industry promotion policies in major countries is intensifying. This study aims to present implications for domestic policy making by analyzing the policies of major countries on the start-up of AI companies, which are the basis of the AI industry ecosystem. The top four countries and the EU for the number of new investment attraction companies in the 2023 AI Index announced by the HAI Research Institute at Stanford University in the United States were selected, The United States enacted the National AI Initiative Act (NAIIA) in 2021. Through this law, The US Government is promoting continued leadership in the United States in AI R&D, developing reliable AI systems in the public and private sectors, building an AI system ecosystem across society, and strengthening DB management and access to AI policies conducted by all federal agencies. In the 14th Five-Year (2021-2025) Plan and 2035 Long-term Goals held in 2021, China has specified AI as the first of the seven strategic high-tech technologies, and is developing policies aimed at becoming the No. 1 AI global powerhouse by 2030. The UK is investing in innovative R&D companies through the 'Future Fund Breakthrough' in 2021, and is expanding related investments by preparing national strategies to leap forward as AI leaders, such as the implementation plan of the national AI strategy in 2022. Israel is supporting technology investment in start-up companies centered on the Innovation Agency, and the Innovation Agency is leading mid- to long-term investments of 2 to 15 years and regulatory reforms for new technologies. The EU is strengthening its digital innovation hub network and creating the InvestEU (European Strategic Investment Fund) and AI investment fund to support the use of AI by SMEs. This study aims to contribute to analyzing the policies of major foreign countries in making AI company start-up policies and providing a basis for Korea's strategy search. The limitations of the study are the limitations of the countries to be analyzed and the failure to attempt comparative analysis of the policy environments of the countries under the same conditions.

This study analyzed recent cases of transition to open access(OA) journals in humanities and social sciences(HSS) in foreign countries to find a way to transition to OA journals in Korea. Ling OA and UP led by researchers, OLH and KU led by libraries, S2O led by publishers and L+F model led by funders and libraries were analyzed. Programs by national funding agencies such as the Norwegian Research Council, Canada Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Austrian Science Fund, and Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences were also reviewed. Based on the results of the analyses, this study suggests for transition in Korean HSS field as follows; 1) transitions to open access journals in HSS should be supported at national level 2) the stakeholder in scholarly communications such as the nation, universities, libraries, research funders, scholarly societies etc has their own role in the transition but funders and libraries are the most important in financial support for open access publishing 3) but the financial support for the first stage of the transition should be done at national level 4) and open access journal publishing consortium comprised of libraries and information service institutions in the public sector such as KERIS, KISTI and the national library should be established 5) non commercial publishing platforms for scholarly societies should be developed and distributed.

This study is based on the purpose of organizing and planning a fundraising for Daum Kakao's 'storyfunding' during the recent crowdfunding that uses mobile-based Internet platforms to raise funds. Analysis by project subjects shows that one planner is more efficient if the ability of one planner, such as 'publishing', is important. However, there were many group A types of contents that require variety of expertise such as 'campaign' and 'journalism' after funding is completed. As a result of analysis by planning purposes, there were the most funds available to produce contents. This is a sign that there are many projects that match the basic purpose of story funding. There are also many other purposes for the purpose of raising public opinion for the project or the establishment of monuments, or for the support of people, animals, or animal rights groups. And there is a private equity fund to sell or promote products. Such quantitative research and analysis will accurately determine the current situation of crowdfunding and will provide basic data such as efficient human composition and goals setting to achieve the goals of crowdfunding in the future.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to present the direction of donation collection activities of non-profit organizations after the COVID-19 crisis by examining the perception of donations from the general public's perspective. The researchers conducted a convenience sampling of general citizens in South Korea, and the survey had been taken by sending e-mails for two weeks from November 11 to November 24, 2020. The total number of questionnaires that we send were 397, however 314 questionnaires were used for analysis, excluding 83 questionnaires that seemed insincerely marked. According to analysis result, non-profit organizations need to strengthen their digital capability in response to the changes in the fund-raising methods in the era of digital transformation. In addition, these factors such as transparency, accountability, and the interaction with donors for sustaining and improving their loyalty are turned out to be crucial. We hope that the results of this study will present the direction of the donation collection strategy of non-profit organizations and be used as basic data for further research.
