이 연구의 목적은 주로 지난 1990년대부터 2000년대 사이에 다른 나라에서 공공도서관을 중심으로 시작된 어린이를 위한 독서운동 가운데 몇 가지 흥미로운 사례들을 살펴보고, 이들이 공통적으로 갖고 있는 새로운 독서패러다임으로서의 특성을 검토하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 살펴본 독일 슈투트가르트의 '귀로 읽기' 캠페인, 영국의 '채터북스', 싱가포르의 'Born to Read, Read to Bond' 및 미국의 '조부모와 책 읽기(GAB)'의 사례들에서 나타난 특성은 다음과 같다: 첫째, 어른과 어린이가 함께 책을 읽는 것이 강조된다. 둘째, 도서관 외부의 후원 및 지역사회 구성원의 역할이 중요하다. 셋째, 책뿐만 아니라 다양한 매체, 프로그램 및 활동을 통해 독서에 대한 흥미를 고양시킨다. 넷째, 독서와 더불어 토론을 중시한다. 다섯째, 독서운동의 지역반경이 확대될 수 있다.

Modern society is heading towards a knowledge & information based society where knowledge and information is valued, or a knowledge creation society where information is analyzed and processed to be used as knowledge. This means that not only individuals but also every organization is always surrounded by information and that we are witnessing a transition into a society where the value of knowledge and information is increasingly higher so sometimes we must actively explore and use the information across the whole social structure involved with politics, economy and culture. Recently, while the amount of information at public libraries at home and abroad has greatly increased in volume and the kinds have become diverse, efforts for digitalizing and integrating knowledge & information resources are being pursued aggressively. A new paradigm of facilities and space configuration for public libraries is required so that along with traditional library service there will exist integrated links and exchange of digital information resources and all users will be able to equally access that information. Therefore, assuming that human, information and space are important design factors as to space planning for public libraries, this study compared characteristics of the space structure and the form of exchange of knowledge & information through examples involved with public libraries having opened in the past three to four years from perspectives of space sociology and communication. This is a basic study to provide organized design guidelines about the form of exchange of creative knowledge & information from various perspectives in the knowledge & information age. Also this study is considered to have a significance in activating communication with users through exchange, creation and experience of knowledge & information, which is a social role that modern public libraries support.

The Long-Term Development Plan of the Pusan National University(PNU) has announced on 1991 in order to reach its roles and levels as an University with international standards, a Graduate School research-oriented and a core university in its community through accomplishment of this Plan. University libraries would be planned to support their universities' goals. Therefore the Library of PNU is facing on the task for supporting the Plan. The Collection for Korean Classical Materials (CKCM) is not limited in Korean Literature, Korean History, Korean Philosophy fields but covered the academic fields except a hightech science : Humanities, social science. pure science, applied science and arts etc. However, the Library of PNU does not have the organization, special librarian and budget for CKCM. Under this notion organization, budget and librarian for the collection would be followed. The CKCM contains the original editions, photography editions, copied issues. microform reproductions with comprehensive subjects in the fields of studies. Especially for the collection of treasure books the role of the Library of PNU induce to open individuals' collections or families' collections to public through the Library. The equipments for preserving rare books and treasure books are the conditioners for humidity and temperature, automatic extinguishment system. The reference materials, copy machine and reading room are requested for the user service of CKCM. The materials would be one of the most important thing in study and research. Therefore the Library of PNU need to pay attention to develop and preserve CKCM.

자기주도적 창의교육을 중시하는 교육 패러다임에 따라 학생들의 학습을 지원하는 주요한 공적 기관인 학교도서관과 공공도서관은 교과연계프로그램을 통한 자기주도적 학습 지원을 주요 업무로 강조하고 있다. 자기주도적 학습을 위해서는 학습자 중심의 교육 지식정보 제공이 필수적이며, 교과서에 반영된 교육과정을 심화·확장할 수 있는 교과서 연계 참고자료가 풍부하게 확보되어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 우선 초등학교 교과과정을 분석하여 도서관 자료를 적극적으로 활용하거나 확장하고자 하는 정보요구가 큰 주요 교과를 식별하고, 도서관 컬렉션 및 분류체계와 연계할 중점 매핑 포인트를 설정하였다. 각 교과의 학습주제 및 교과연계도서의 서지정보와 함께 한국십진분류법(KDC)의 분류표목 및 상관색인의 도입어를 참조하여 학습주제와 연관된 분류항목을 파악하였다. 이를 바탕으로, 학생들에게 친숙하지 않은 KDC 체계를 초등학교 주요 교과의 단원을 중심으로 재구성하여 학습자 중심의 교과서 연계 서지정보 및 주제정보를 구축하였다. 이를 통해 도서관은 교과과정의 학습주제를 중심으로 이용자별로 타겟화된 도서관 콘텐츠와 초등학교 교육콘텐츠를 연계함으로써 온라인 환경에서 초등학생의 자기주도적 창의학습 지원을 강화할 수 있다.

영아 대상 북스타트 프로그램은 실험적인 시행과정에 있다. 본 연구는 천안시의 영아 대상 북스타트 프로그램의 이용과 운영 실태를 질적으로 연구하여, 성공적인 영아 대상 북스타트 프로그램을 위한 필요조건들과 개선점에 대해 알아보았다. 영아 대상 북스타트 참여 인력은 프로그램을 지원하는 인력과 프로그램에 참여하는 강사로 구성되며, 이들에게 영아 대상 북스타트는 육아 지원자 역할에 대한 만족감, 사회적 참여 기회의 확대, 전문적 능력의 개발의 장이 된다. 영아 대상 북스타트 프로그램의 활동 내용은 주마다 각각의 강사가 구성하는 프로그램으로 다양한 활동으로 구성되었으며, 프로그램의 특성은 영아들과 할 수 있는 다양한 활동의 제공처, 육아정보교류의 장, 교육의 장으로서 규정될 수 있다. 영아 대상 북스타트 프로그램의 발전을 위하여 프로그램 자체에 관해서는 프로그램의 취지에 대한 영아 보호자와 의사 결정자들의 북스타트에 대한 이해 필요, 놀이 활성화를 위한 구체적인 방법의 제공, 북스타트의 정체성의 문제 등이 있으며, 운영에 있어서 참여 대상자의 제한, 참여 기간, 참여 인원, 인력과 예산의 문제의 측면에서 지적되었다.

본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관이 지역콘텐츠 및 지역민의 요구에 부합한 특화주제를 선정하고 이를 기반으로 특화도서관을 운영함에 있어 필요한 실질적 가이드라인을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 총 43개 국내 외 도서관을 선정하여 특화도서관 설립과정, 지역적 특성, 특화장서, 특화예산, 특화인력, 특화네트워크, 특화시설 및 환경, 특화프로그램, 홍보 등을 조사하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 도출된 시사점을 기반으로 운영 가이드라인을 4단계로 제안하였는데, 특화서비스 지원체계를 확립하고 지역밀착형 특화주제를 선정하는 준비단계, 선정된 특화주제를 서비스하기 위하여 도서관 환경을 조성하는 조성단계, 특화주제 관련 정보복합문화서비스를 기획하고 제공하는 운영단계, 서비스 고도화 및 확장을 위하여 도서관 외부기관과 소통하는 확산단계 등이다.

Objectives: Depression is a frequent complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between low social support and risk for depression in people with type 2 diabetes through a meta-analysis. Methods: PubMed, ProQuest, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Scopus, the Cochrane Library, Embase, and Google Scholar were searched for English-language articles published up to 2021. Pooled adjusted odds ratios (aORs) were calculated using a random-effect model with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Heterogeneity was evaluated by using the Cochrane Q test and I² statistics. The risk of publication bias was estimated using a funnel plot, the Egger test, and the Begg test. The Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Tools were used to assess the quality of evidence and the risk of bias. Results: Eleven studies were included in this meta-analysis, containing a total of 3151 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The pooled analysis showed that people with type 2 diabetes mellitus who had low social support had twice as high a risk of depression as those with high social support (aOR, 2.02; 95% CI, 1.51 to 2.70; p<0.001). A random-effect model was used because the heterogeneity was high (I² = 87%). Conclusions: Low social support was found to increase the risk of depression among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Further investigation into factors that may moderate this relationship is required.

본고에서는 장애인정보격차해소에 관련된 각종 사항들을 논의하며 특히 공공도서관을 통해본 장애인 서비스의 현황과 문제점을 분석하였다. 공공도서관의 장애인서비스 현황과 문제점은 국립장애인 도서관 지원센터가 실시한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 하였다. 장애인서비스의 향후 연구과제로 시각장애인 외에도 청각, 지체장애인 등 다양한 장애유형에 대한 연구가 있어야 하겠다고 제안하였다.

학교도서관은 교사와 학생들의 교수·학습활동을 지원하고, 학교의 교육과정 전개에 이바지할 수 있어야 한다. 최근, 교육부가 추진하고 있는 자기주도적 학습은 자료중심을 통하여 학생들에게 문제해결능력을 길러주자는 것이다. 자료중심교육은 학교도서관을 떠나서 생각할 수 없는 문제이다. 모든 도서관중에서 가장 기본적인 학교도서관은 정부의 제도적, 행정적인 뒷받침이 없으면 발전할 수 없는 특성을 가지고 있다. 그 동안 정부당국의 무관심과 입시위주의 교육 때문에 거의 빈사상태에 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 학교도서관 관계법령을 개정하여 제도적으로 정착시켜야한다. 어떠한 제도나 조직의 발전은 결국 사람의 문제로 귀결된다고 보아야 한다. 아무리 좋은 법령을 만들고 제도적 장치를 마련해 두어도 행정적인 지원과 뒷받침이 없으면 그 제도나 조직은 발전할 수 없다. 그 조직에 대한 관계기관의 애정어린 관심과 발전에 대한 강력한 의지가 있어야 한다.

공공 연구기금을 지원받아 산출된 연구 성과물을 온라인상에 디지털 형태로 공개하여 이용자가 보다 쉽게 접근하고 활용할 수 있도록 하는 오픈 사이언스 프로젝트가 해외에서 활발히 진행되면서, 미국 대학도서관에서는 이에 부응하는 연구지원 서비스에 관심이 증대되고 있다. OECD가 제시하는 오픈 사이언스 프로젝트 3대 이행 수단 중에서 '역량강화'는 도서관의 연구지원 서비스를 통해 효과적으로 준비할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 학술커뮤니케이션을 바탕으로 미국 13개 유수 대학도서관에서 시행하고 있는 연구지원 서비스 정책에 대해 최근 문헌과 웹사이트를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이를 기반으로 미국 대학도서관의 연구지원 모범 서비스 사례를 소개하고 국내 19개 연구중심대학의 도서관 홈페이지와 관련 이해 당사자들의 의견을 분석하였다. 국내 대학도서관은 미국 대학도서관과 비교했을 때 오픈액세스나 연구 데이터관리 등에 대한 서비스 개발 경험과 전문성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 미국 대학도서관의 우수 사례를 기반으로 국내 대학도서관의 학술커뮤니케이션 관련 연구지원 서비스 개선방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 대학도서관에서 오픈 사이언스 시대에 필요한 연구지원 서비스 계획 수립 시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 국제적으로 경쟁력 있는 연구지원 서비스를 도입하여 국내 연구자들의 연구력 향상에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
