Developing Relationship between Investors Psychology and Financial Decision Making

  • The study aims to find out relationship between investor's psychology and financial decision making. A questionnaire containing ten questions for investor's psychology and eleven questions on financial decision making was administered. The questionnaires addressed demographic and cultural variables and resulted in three investor's psychology and three for financial decision making. The results show differences in psychology of investors of different age groups. Similarly difference in financial decision making was observed for different age groups. Also a linear dependency was observed between the psychology and decision making.

  • This paper examined two hypotheses. Firstly, if the first syllable of word play an important role in visual word recognition, it may be the unit of word neighbor. Secondly, if the first syllable is the unit of lexical access, the neighborhood size effect and the neighborhood frequency effect would appear in a lexical decision task and a form primed lexical decision task. We conducted two experiments. Experiment 1 showed that words had large neighbors made a inhibitory effect in the LDT(lexical decision task). Experiment 2 showed the interaction between the neighborhood frequency effectand the word form similarity in the form primed LDT. We concluded that the first syllable in Korean words might be the unit of word neighborhood and play a central role in a lexical access.

  • In this paper, we propose a behavior decision model for a robot, which is based on artificial emotion, various motivations and dynamic personality. Our goal is making a robot which can express its emotion human-like way. To achieve this goal, we applied several emotion and personality theories in psychology. Especially, we introduced the concept of dynamic personality model for a robot. Drawing on this concept, we could make a behavior decision model so that the emotion expression of the robot has adaptability to various environments through interactions between human and the robot.

How to Utilize Sports Psychology for Better Customer Experience in Sports Retail Store as a Distribution Content Perspective

  • Purpose: Contemporary consumers are increasingly adopting public displays of their loyalty towards brands: consumer dedication surpasses loyalty in that they find various ways to show their devotion to their favorite brands. The purpose of the current study is to utilize sports psychology to improve customer experience in the sports shops. Research design, data and methodology: To investigate the purpose of the study and suggest the solutions, Epistemology methods were used to analyze the nature of knowledge and various forms of attaining knowledge. As such, epistemology asks questions such as "what are constitutes of valid knowledge?". Results: This study figured out five theoretical results to suggest for practitioners in the sports retail shop based on prior research. According to the research, sports psychology can affect consumer buying behavior which builds upon specific demographics and their differentiating behavior. The results also show that males shop with specificity, while female consumers are likely to shop for pleasure. Men are also less frequent shoppers than women. Conclusions: Above all, this study concludes that a consumer decision-making study is vital in the sports retail business, and information about consumer decision-making can be an influential factor for sports retailers to increase their competitive advantage.

인터넷 패션 소비자의 예상된 후회와 선택의 어려움이 구매결정연기 및 구매전환의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Internet Fashion Consumer's Anticipated Regret and Selection Difficulty on Decision Making Delay and Purchase Switching Intention)

  • This study analyzed the effects of internet fashion consumer's anticipated regret and the selection difficulty on decision making delay and purchase switching intention. The survey was conducted in 2012 on internet fashion consumers in their 20s to 40s from May 1 to June 30; subsequently, 487 responses were used for the data analysis. The anticipated regret of internet fashion consumers was composed of product, service, social psychology, and function-related anticipated regret. The selection difficulty of internet fashion consumers was composed of process, information, and experience-related selection difficulty. There are significant differences in anticipated regret, selection difficulty, decision making delay, and purchase switching intention by gender. The anticipated regret (product, service, and social psychology-related anticipated regret) and selection difficulty effected decision making delay. In addition, the anticipated regret for product and selection difficulty by process or information influenced purchase switching intention. The results of this study provide useful information on the success and efficient operation of internet shopping malls.

  • 본 연구는 보완대체요법을 활용한 긍정심리프로그램 중재를 통하여 간호대학생의 정신적, 사회 심리적 건강향상을 위하여 시도되었다. 보완대체요법을 활용한 긍정심리프로그램을 제공받은 간호대학생을 실험군으로 프로그램을제공받지 않은 간호대학생을 대조군으로 선정하여 간호대학생의 부정적 정서(우울, 불안, 스트레스), 진로결정 자기효능감, 자기자비, 플로리시에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위한 비 동등성 대조군 전후 유사실험 설계를 적용한 연구이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Version 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 실험군은 교육에 참여하지 않은 대조군보다 진로결정 자기효능감, 자기자비, 플로리시 점수가 높았고, 부정적 정서 점수가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 보완대체요법을 활용한 긍정심리프로그램을 적용한 후 진로결정 긍정적인 연구 효과를 보고함으로 보완대체요법을 활용한 간호중재영역 확대에 기여하였다.

모바일 기기 구매 의사결정에 관한 멘탈 모델의 추출 (Eliciting Mental Models for Mobile Device Purchase Decision Making)

  • 본 연구는 소비자가 모바일 기기를 구매함에 있어서 어떤 멘탈 모델을 가지고 있는지를 파악하는데 중점을 두고 멘탈 모델의 추출과 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구는 모바일 기기 구매 의사결정 과정에서 IT 친숙도에 따라 서로 다른 멘탈 모델을 가지고 있을 것이라는 가설을 가지고 크게 두 부분으로 나누어 연구를 진행하여 인지 과제 분석 방법의 하나인 Critical Decision Method를 이용하여 멘탈 모델을 이루는 27가지 구성요소들을 추출하였고, 이렇게 추출된 구성요소들을 바탕으로 IT 친숙도에 따라 소비자의 멘탈 모델을 두 그룹으로 구분하여 Pathfinder 알고리즘과Social Network Analysis를 이용하여 각각의 멘탈 모델을 분석하고 있다. 분석결과 IT 친숙도가 높은 그룹은 멘탈 모델을 구성하는 요소들이 각각의 독자적 특성에 따라 구매 의사결정 과정에서 비교적 조직적이고 분명하게 구분된 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타난 반면, IT 친숙도가 낮은 그룹은 멘탈 모델 구성 요소들 간의 관계나 역할이 불분명하고 혼재된 경향을 보였으며 구매 의사결정 과정에서 외부 의견이나 사회적 통념을 중시하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Anomia, word finding difficulty, is one of the most common feature in aphasia. Previous studies support that the process of picture naming consists of three stages, in the order of the object recognition, semantic, and phonological output stages. Anomic patients have many symptoms and it means that anomia can be sub-divided into several symptom groups. Our anomia assessment battery consists of several parts: (1) picture naming set, (2) picture-word matching task, (3) lexical decision task for mental lexicon damage, (4) naming task for phonological lexicon damage, and (5) semantic decision task. Pictures and words were selected on the basis of usage frequency, semantic category, and word length. We administered this anomia evaluation battery to many anomic aphasics and we subdivided patients into several groups. We hope that our anomia evaluation set is useful and helpful for evaluation anomic aphasics

생태계 관리에 대한 공무원의 의사결정과 그 심리 (Public Managers' Decision-Making and Their Psychology on Managing Ecosystems)

  • 한국의 경우 많은 생태계가 정부 조직에 의해 관리되고 있다. 그러므로 생태계 관리에 대한 공무원들의 의사결정은 한국의 생태계 관리에 큰 영향을 미치고 있으며, 그들의 의사결정에 따라 한국의 생태계가 효과적으로 관리될 수도 있고, 반면 그렇지 않을 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 생태계 관리의 목적을 생태계의 지속성 확보라고 전제하고, 생태계 관리에 대한 공무원들의 의사결정과 그 심리에 대해 살펴본다. 생태계 관리 활동에는 기본적으로 불확실성이 수반되며, 공무원들은 관리 활동에 대한 의사결정 준거로서 법에 대한 지식, 과학에 대한 지식, 정부 간 관계에 대한 지식, 그리고 지방 거버넌스에 대한 지식을 활용한다. 본 논문은 공무원들의 의사결정을 설명하기 위해 불확실성 하 인간의 판단에 관한 심리 이론을 채택한다. 공무원들에 의한 효과적인 생태계 관리란 그들이 가지고 있는 네 가지 종류의 지식을 관리 활동에 모두 활용하는 것을 의미하고, 이를 위해서는 정부의 정책적 뒷받침이 필요하다. 본 논문의 결론에서는 효과적인 생태계 관리를 위하여 공무원들이 법, 과학, 정부 간 관계, 그리고 지방 거버넌스에 대한 지식을 적극 활용할 수 있도록 만들기 위한 정책적 제언을 제시한다.

Decision support Systems research in Korea (1985-1998): An Empirical Investigation through Exploratory Factor Analysis

  • This study applies factor analysis of an author cocitation frequency matrix derived from a database file that consists of a total of 1095 cited reference records taken from 95 citing decision support systems articles published in Korean journals. This study identified the influence of social psychology, cognitive psychology, management information systems, strategic management, and organizational behavior/organizational design to the development of group support systems, user-interface, and executive information systems research subspecialties. This research establishes a benchmark to be used in the future research, which is necessary to account for the ongoing changes in the intellectual development and structure of DSS Research in Korea before solid conclusion can be reached about the maturity and on-going development of the DSS field in Korean.
