Assuming that while the Confucian idea-based awareness of boundary appeared to have a distinct effect on traditional residential spaces the awareness of an individualized nuclear family-oriented boundary deviated from authoritarianism has been recently shown in the modern residential spaces, this study was conducted to clarify what the modern people's awareness of boundary influences individual residential spaces and how the boundary is structured. This study was carried out by examining prior studies on the concepts of boundary and analysing the planes of residential apartments as a typical modern residential space, based on the comparison of traditional and modern residential spaces. It was shown, then, that the awareness of boundary in the modern residential space appeared to be structured in the residential apartment space according to the change in the social position and role of family members, unlike the spatial division of the traditional residential spaces based on the social class and sex.

What kind of information is it got in an exhibition space? And any order is determined and can read an exhibition? Is application possible with interactive design in an exhibition space? All elements must be reflected in an information design in addition to a biological process and perception process. Various uncertainty, a little information about exhibition contents and negative attitude, various ways of thinking, time physical a few psychological fatigue, uncertain target will be for these reasons. When configuration of a space and a human biological element are satisfied in an information design by physical configuration, maximization of a communication between exhibition water and visitor firm names will consist in a museum.

As people have paid much attention to their health along with increased interest in high quality of living, they have managed their health in organized manners. Space is a physical field which directly and indirectly interacts with human life, there is a little research on its therapeutic aspect and it is only negatively applied for development of products and alternative medicine. This study aims to identify research trends and flows targeting previous research on therapeutic approaches in domestic space design and present basic materials on space design approaches in a therapeutic view, which will be helpful in ultimate development of space design in theories and practices. As a result, it was discovered that there were only a few papers which were searched with direct key words on curative environment, which indicates that specific studies as therapeutic approaches are insufficient. When the studies were analysed according to annual publications, research on residential welfare and medical space was active, and research on design methodology, design techniques, and design plans was active, but research on psychology, behaviors, laws and institutions was relatively insufficient, which indicates studies on physical and psychological aspects of space design are necessary. In conclusion, it is suggested that further studies on therapeutic environment for direct and specific persons should be defined and classified although there have been relevant studies in various fields.

Purpose: Recently, Housing area plan has tried to reflect a public space of various forms. However, most of cases are indiscriminately developments, which don't reflect the diverse needs of residents. In addition, a subject of the public space is not clear and consistently stable of the management, so the residents don't have an interest enough to take advantage of it. Method: In order to make a plan of the public space of a residential complex, an architect designer needs to take a few things into consideration. One is a physical facility in needs. And other one is a management of keeping a social place stably and consistently, which allows residents to be able to interact with each other. It should be regarded for residents to form a sense of belonging, while minimizing the interface friction. When all these problems are fulfilled, an interaction will be made to improve the quality of the living environment. Result: Therefore, in this study, it is necessary to define the meaning of territoriality of the external public space of housing complex. This study makes it possible to improve the relationship of neighborhood and the quality of the life for the residents, depending on the time. This is the first step as 'the research for the territoriality of the external public space of housing complex', in order to define about the concept, function, characteristic of territory(the base of territoriality) and to establish the territoriality that can form the physical or psychological boundary in public space.

The purpose of this paper is to study the artistic characteristics of light and adjustment in space, and how meaningful this integral phenomenon is to human beings , whin a space is transformed into a dynamic subject by light. When we create a very unique space we need to adjust light in all environments and must recognize the substance of light in all human spaces. The study of interior design is dependant on the existence of these lights in space. Light plays a very integral role in life having great contingency in the artistic characteristics represented in space. Light is a non-materialistic substance. However, when this substance is realized as a materialistic , light has a very visual effect, having a pleasing and satisfying effect on humans. The artistic characteristic of light in interior space are represented through elements of tranquility , direction . recognition, symbolism , and design. Light has a limitless amount of potential for giving humans boundless possibilities in space and expression . By studying psychological and physical aspects of the flow of light we are able to enjoy its fruitful benefits in the space of interior architectural design.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the stress variation according to Hitler's residence using EEG data. Hitler's residence, one of the most monumental buildings, is designed as a grand and overbearing space, giving the visitor a sense of psychological pressure when moving from a high space to low space. Based on the above background, this paper constructs Hitler's residence using virtual reality and measure the changes of the beta waves which are known to be related with stress when the floor level moves from high to low space in Hitler's residence built in virtual space. The results of the experiment are as follows; when moving from high to low space, the subjects' stress was high and at the same time brain waves variation was increased greatly due to changes in space.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for eco-friendly healing space design for healthcare facilities in the future. Theoretical review and case study on the concept of sustainable design, spatial expression and behavioral affordance were used as research method. Through these reviews, the 3 elements of the total healing environment -physical, psychological and social- have correspondence with elements of spatial expression; Refuge, Flow, Prospect and Void. And these are related to the eight kinds of Behavioral affordance which are subdivided into WORK&STUDY, REST, CIRCULATION, VISUAL SEQUENCE, SOCIAL EXCHANGE, REFRESHMENT, COMMUNITY and MEDITATION. And the concept of sustainable design consists of 6 principles ; Natural system, People, Place, The cycle of life, Energy & natural resources and Process. Through correlation analysis of behavioral affordance and 6 principles, the result of this study presents that the physical elements of the total healing space was mainly associated with the principles of people, place and the cycle of life. Psychological element was related to principle of natural system, human, place and process. And social element was associated with the principles of human, place and process. According to this analysis, the case study of four low-rise eco-friendly medical facilities was undertaken. Sustainability was evaluated in total healing environmental through this case study.

The object of this research is to find out the psychological change of observer according to the index of Greenness in the space of scenic planting, and research is proceeded with total 112, male students 69, and female students 43. The index of Greenness experimented with 5 pictures, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%, and carried out the test after selecting each picture of the index of Greenness for landscaping in Konkuk University Global Campus. To find out the mood condition of testee, POMS and SD was used for analyzing. As a result of TMD among POMS, male and female students are shown as each 60% > 100% > 40% > 20% > 80% in order. As a result of SD, male and female students are shown as 80% > 20% > 40% > 60% > 100% in order and the index of Greenness 100% makes people feel fluent and natural about plants but closed and constrained than the index of Greenness 80%.

As de-schooling students (students who leave schools) have been produced and increased in middle and high schools every year since 1990s, urban alternative schools have founded with Seoul as the center. The objects of such urban alternative schools are de-schooling teenagers, and their educational goal is to make the students to discover their own values and grow as members of the community by accomplishing their healing and growth. Most of students in alternative schools have excessive self-centered feeling than ordinary people, and since they don't have exchanges with others, they have to receive holistic healing along with education. Here, 'healing' is a method of approaching to health through environmental, psychological, social and cultural supports unlike 'treatment' used for medical means. Therefore, holistic healing for alternative schools' students has to accomplish self-knowledge, self-control, and self-healing without repulsion through spaces of healing environments instead of heavy-handed exchanges. This study has integrated a theory of Max $L{\ddot{u}}scher$ who suggested a psychological healing theory in terms of internal character and a theory of Rudolf Steiner who suggested it in terms of practical and holistic sense and analyzed Sungmisan School, one of urban alternative schools in Seoul through the integrated theory. The analysis of the integrated theory are intended to emphasize the importance of healing environments and suggest methods in creating healing environments for urban alternative schools in the future.

In modern society, the necessity of Color and Psychology Therapy is increasing for psychologically calm children who are less taken care by their parents in busy daily life, and helping them adapt to the environment. Therefore, we need to understand sensitivity status of children with paintings that they draw. Currently, most of empirical studies on their sensitivities are based on psychological and engineering perspectives. This study was designed to provide a system to extract psychological status of children from their pictures by distinguishing harmony of colors using information of solid colors and arrangement of colors in the image space. For achieving this research purpose, first of all, sensitivity database was constructed based on the image space of colors. Then, using the K-Means algorithm, the image was clustered and a wide amount of color values were divided into groups. After that, children's sensitivities were extracted by matching groups of color values with database, and color psychological status of children was observed using the color distribution chart in their paintings.
