8주간의 경쟁운동 프로그램이 게임과몰입 청소년의 기초체력과 심리적 변인에 미치는 영향 (Effect of an 8-Week Competitive Exercise Program on Physical Fitness and Psychological Factors in Game-addicted Adolescent)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of an 8-week competitive exercise program on physical fitness, psychological variables, and video-game playtime in game-addicted adolescents. Methods: All subjects were screened by a game behavior diagnosis scale questionnaire, and a total of 7 game-addicted, male adolescents ($16{\pm}2$ yrs of age) participated in the study. All subjects were informed of the study's purpose, procedures, and risks, and a consent form was obtained from each subject. The 8-week soccer and basketball exercise program included twice-weekly sessions of 120 minutes per session. All data were presented as $mean{\pm}SE$, and the variables were analyzed with a paired t-test. Results: Following the 8-week intervention, cardiovascular endurance and grip strength were significantly increased (approximately 17 and 7%, respectively [p<0.05]). Although there was no statistical significance on flexibility, vertical jump, and zigzag-run, all variables showed an increasing tendency. Anxiety levels changed from a mild anxiety state to a normal state, and depression levels also altered from moderate to a normal state. The video-game playtime was reduced about 20% during weekends and vacation periods. Conclusion: Given these combined results, 8 weeks of regular participation in competitive exercise (soccer/basketball) may contribute to positive effects on physical fitness, psychological variables, and video-game playtime in computer-game addicted adolescents.

보육교사의 긍정심리자본이 행복감에 미치는 영향: 대인관계유능성과 감사성향의 매개효과 (A Mediating Effect of Interpersonal Competence and Gratitude Disposition to the Influence of Positive Psychology Capital on Happiness in Childcare Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore mediating effects of interpersonal competence, gratitude disposition between childcare teachers positive psychological capital and happiness. The subjects of the study were a total 231 Childcare in Seoul. The statistics program used to achieve the purpose was SPSS/PC+18.0. The statistics methods applied were pearson correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. The major results of this study were summarized as follows: First, Positive psychological capital and interpersonal competence, and gratitude disposition from happiness was found to be positively correlated. Second, interpersonal competence had an affect on childcare teachers happiness. These effects are mediated in part by the control interpersonal competence showed. Third, gratitude disposition affects childcare teachers happiness. These effects are mediated in part by the gratitude disposition showed. These results suggest that dispositional gratitude and cognitive flexibility play an important role in the development of happiness for childcare teachers.

자기효능감과 외상 후 성장의 관계 : 인지 유연성과 희망의 매개효과 (The Relationship between Self-efficacy and Posttraumatic Growth : Mediating Effect of Cognitive Flexibility and Hope)

  • 본 연구는 외상을 경험한 성인의 성격 변인인 자기효능감이 인지 유연성과 희망의 순차적 매개효과를 통해 외상 후 성장에 이르게 되는 경로를 구체적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 외상 경험이 있는 전국의 만19세부터 만65세의 성인을 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 연구 분석에 적합한 316명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외상 후 성장은 자기효능감, 인지 유연성의 대안과 통제, 그리고 희망과 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 외상 후 성장의 증가는 희망의 증가와 직접적으로 관련이 있고, 증가된 희망은 증가된 대안과 자기효능감 수준과 정적으로 유의한 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기효능감과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 대안과 희망의 순차적 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 제한점 및 제언을 논의하였다.

수영 활동 참여에 따른 농촌 지역 여성노인의 신체적·정신적·사회적 건강상태 비교 (A Comparative Study on the Physical, Psychological, and Social Well-being of Elderly Women in Rural Areas Depending on their Participation in Swimming Activities)

  • 본 연구는 농촌 지역 여성노인의 수영 활동 참여에 따른 신체적·정신적·사회적 건강상태를 비교한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 C도 G군에 거주하고 있는 여성노인 중 주 3회, 1년 이상 수영 활동에 참여한 41명과 수영 활동을 하지 않은 여성 노인 43명을 대상으로 2019년 12월 2일~2020년 1월 10일까지 6주 동안 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 수영 활동 참여군과 미참여군은 신체적 건강상태(통증(t=-2.84, p=.006), 유연성(t=2.07, p=.041)), 정신적 건강상태(지각된 건강상태(t=6.16, p=.000), 우울(t=-3.73, p=.000)), 사회적 건강상태(대인관계강화(t=2.51, p=.014))에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉, 수영 활동 참여군이 미참여군보다 신체적·정신적·사회적으로 건강한 상태임을 확인하였다. 따라서 농촌 지역 여성노인의 신체적·정신적·사회적 건강상태를 증진하기 위하여 지역사회 내 체육시설을 활용한 수영 활동에 대한 적극적인 장려와 지원이 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

한국인의 자기 인식에 나타난 토착문화심리 분석 (Conception of Self in Korea: Indigenous, Cultural and Psychological Analysis)

  • 이 연구의 주된 목적은 한국인의 자기 인식에 나타난 토착문화심리를 탐구하는데 있다. 이를 위해 크게 네 측면, 즉 개인으로서의 자기 인식(보통 때의 나, 독특한 개인으로서의 나, 혼자 있을 때의 나), 가족과 함께 있을 때 자기 인식(아버지, 어머니, 자녀, 배우자와 함께 있을 때의 나), 주위사람과 함께 있을 때 자기 인식(친한 친구, 선생님, 직장 상사, 부하 직원과 함께 있을 때의 나), 타인과 함께 있을 때의 자기 인식(낯선 사람, 외국인과 함께 있을 때의 나)을 분석하였다. 분석대상은 1,465명(초 중 고 대학생 623명, 성인 842명)이었으며, 연구자에 의해 제작된 자유반응형 질문지를 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 한국인의 자기 인식에 나타난 토착심리로서 두 가지 측면이 부각되었다. 첫째는 자기에 대한 인식에서 관계 내 역할의 중요성이었으며, 둘째는 관계 맥락 속에서 유동성있게 변하는 자기의 특징이었다. 이를 토대로 개별적 자기와 관계적 자기의 차원 및 자기의 일관성과 유동성 차원에 대해 논의하였다.

가족기능의 변화 양상에 따른 자녀의 자아존중감, 문제행동 차이 (Trajectory of Family Functioning: Self-esteem and Behavior Problems of Children)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 어머니가 지각한 가족기능(유연성, 응집성)이 자녀가 성장하는 과정에서 어떤 양상으로 변화하는지 확인하고, 변화 양상에 기초한 잠재계층에 따라 자녀의 자아존중감, 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동에 차이가 있는지 살펴보는 것이다. 잠재계층 확인을 위해 3개 시점의 자료(2013년, 2014년, 2016년), 자아존중감과 문제행동 차이 검증을 위해 5개년도 자료(2013년-2017년)를 사용하였으며, 분석 대상은 1,348명이다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 잠재계층성장분석을 적용했을 때 유연성은 저수준 증가형 집단, 중수준 증가형 집단, 중상수준 증가형 집단, 상수준 무변화형 집단, 응집성은 저수준 증가형 집단, 중수준 증가형 집단, 감소형 집단, 상수준 증가형 집단, 최상수준 무변화형 집단이 확인되었다. 둘째, 초등학령기에 해당하는 2015년(초1), 2016년(초2), 2017년(초3) 모두 유연성, 응집성의 잠재계층에 따라 자아존중감 수준에 차이가 확인되었으며, 대체로 유연성은 상수준 무변화형 집단, 응집성은 최상수준 무변화형 집단 자녀의 자아존중감이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 유아기에 해당하는 2013년, 2014년, 초등학령기에 해당하는 2015년(초1), 2017년(초3) 모두 유연성, 응집성의 잠재계층에 따라 내재화, 외현화 문제행동 수준에 차이가 확인되었으며, 유연성은 저수준 증가형 집단, 중수준 증가형 집단, 응집성은 저수준 증가형 집단, 중수준 증가형 집단, 감소형 집단의 내재화, 외현화 문제행동 수준이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 잘 기능하는 가족 시스템이 자녀의 심리사회적 적응 과정에 중요한 역할을 하는 것을 시사한다.

노인의 의.식.주생활 및 심리적 적응을 위한 이상적 모델개발 연구 -양로원을 중심으로- (The Development of a Retirement Home Model with Emphasis on Clothing, Nutrition, Housing, and Psychological Dimension)

  • The present study was conducted to devlop and appropriate retirement home model for the elderly in terms of clothing and textiles; nutrition, health, and foodservice; housing and environment; and psychological adaptation. Specifically, the purposes of the study were: 1) to provide basic guidelines for clothing by comparing the clothing behavior of the elderly living in the retirement home and those living in their own homes with family, 2) to provide basic guidelines for balanced diet and effective foodservice, 3) to develop an ideal life space and facilities, and 4) to assess the psychological characteristics of the elderly. Questionnaires, observation, experimental method, and survey of literature were used for the study. Clothing behavior showed that the elderly were much concerned about clothing, and they preferred comfortable as well as fashionable designs. The elderly in the retirement homes complained of a lack of quantity and variety in clothing. They preferred natural fiber rather than blended fabrics. Flame resistance, thermal insulation, and flexibility of textile fabrics were found to be prime considerations in manufacturing and selecting clothing materials for the elderly. The health status of the surveyed elderly was generally good, but some poor eating habits were observed. Dietary nutrients intakes were generally sufficient, but several nutrients intakes were insufficient. The level of equipment in the kitchens of the institutions was low. Furthermore, the employment rate of dietitians in institutional settings was extremely low. This resulted in a lack of systematic foodservice management. Residents in the institution were generally satisfied with present life space and facilities but this was mainly because of abandonment, adaptation, and past experience. Optimal allocation of residents per bedroom and an adequate design for storage, bathroom, utility room, and dining room were recommended. The comparison of psychological status of the elderly living at home was more stable than those living in an institution. The emotional state of the elderly living in the institution was characterized by loneliness; they did not have close interpersonal relationships or future plans. An appropriate model for the elderly was developed on the basis of these findings.

강소주택 실효성 논의를 위한 일본 소형주택 공간 활용 사례 분석 (A Case Study of Space Utilization on Compact Houses in Japan to build Compact-but-effective Houses in Korea)

  • The objective of this study is to find a possible application of small space utilization of GangSo Housing, so called compact-but-effective housing, through analyzing that of Japanese small housing. We analyze openness of view and flexibility of spaces divided by the physical and architectural aspects as first component and the psychological and interior space aspects as second component. The results showed that Japanese small houses have various unit plan compared to uniformity of Korean houses. Openness of view in Japanese small housing is accomplished by letting in light from the outside using position and shape of the window, looking more spacious using courtyard, void spaces, or sliding door hanging from the ceiling, and creating deception of view using floor-wall plan and appropriate materials. Flexibility of spaces is achieved by combination of first and second components, multipurpose of space and furniture, and variety of storage methods. It is necessary to improve spatial efficiency with consideration of volume-metric planing rather than flat-plane and develop various unit plans to meet residents' needs and demands on compact-but-effective houses.

Comparison of Aerobic Exercise and Combination Exercise Program on Overall Physical Fitness and Mental Health in 20 Aged Subjects with Obesity

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of aerobic exercise and combination exercise on physical fitness, body composition, and depression and to observe the relationship between obesity and depression. METHODS: A total of 40 obese people were divided into an aerobic exercise group ($n_1$=20) and a combination exercise group ($n_2$=20) that was performed swiss ball exercise and aerobic exercise. Each group exercised three times per week for eight weeks. Outcome measures were basic physical fitness, body composition, and depression. RESULTS: After completion of the exercise, there was a significant difference in overall physical fitness factors of percentage body fat (%body fat), strength, muscle endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance in the combination exercise group (p<.05). Strength, muscle endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance were more improved in the combination exercise group than aerobic exercise group (p<.05). However, changes of %body fat and psychological factor between the two groups were not significant. CONCLUSION: Combination exercise program has an effect on the solution of obesity in physical development and strength. Therefore, it seems to that use with better perform both aerobic exercise and Swiss ball exercise. In addition, the Swiss ball exercise, which is an easy, convenient and economical self-exercise that can be done at home, is recommended due to its positive effects on physical establishment and fitness.

저강도 복합운동프로그램이 여성노인의 일상생활체력과 낙상효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of a Low-Intensity Combined Exercise Program using Props on the Daily Living Fitness and Quality of Life of Elderly Women)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of a low-intensity combined exercise program on daily physical fitness parameters such as balance, flexibility, muscle strength, and fear of falling of elderly women in the community. METHODS: This study assigned 30 elderly women randomly into two groups: The control and experimental groups. The control group (n = 15) underwent routine gait. The experimental group (n = 15) underwent the low-intensity combined exercise. The exercise program in this study comprising combined exercise, including balance, flexibility, muscle strength training, and the exercise program using props was conducted twice a week for 8 weeks. RESULTS: The average age of the control and experimental groups was 77.27 years and 78.33 years, respectively. There were significant differences in static balance (t = -4.167, p < .001), dynamic balance (t = 2.463, p < .001), (t = -3.870, p < .001), (t = -2.262, p < .001), (t = -5.732, p < .001), (t = -6.573, p < .001), and fear of falling (t = -5.129, p < .001). CONCLUSION: The results show that low-intensity combined exercise is an effective intervention that improves physical health fear of falling in older women. The combined exercise program was found to be more effective in terms of physical function and fall-related psychological function compared to the control group that only walked.
