바이오필릭 디자인의 관점에서 본 경복궁의 전망과 은신처 분석 (Characteristics of Prospect and Refuge in Gyeongbokgung Palace focusing on the Biophilic Design)

  • The human instinct toward nature is biophilia as a psychological term. There have been a number of empirical evidences confirmed that natural features in buildings enhance human's comfort focusing on biophilia. However, the evolution of society, science, and industry has separated modern buildings from nature. Therefore, this paper addresses the assumption that the admiration for historical buildings in contemporary society is attribute to the qualities of biophilic design. Prospect and refuge, one of the strategies for biophilic design, ultimately provides the opportunity to recover from stress and tension. The purpose of this study is to figure out elements of prospect and refuge based on the design theory of biophilia for psychological healing. This study explores the Gyeongbokgung Palace with the design elements of prospect and refuge in biophilia. It also measures these elements quantitatively with the contrast using Adobe Photoshop CS6, and the area ratio of prospect and refuge. The results of this research verify that the conflicting characteristics of prospect and refuge are identified simultaneously, it is significant to attract people. Gangnyeongjeon Hall and Gyotaejeon Hall, the living quarters for the king and queen, propose the intense pattern of refuge characteristics more than other areas. The mathematical properties of the area ratio show that the pattern of prospect-refuge characteristics change in particular design elements.

정치홍보 캠페인의 메시지 프레이밍 효과: 전망이론을 중심으로 (Message Framing Effect in Political Publicity Campaign: Focused on Prospect Theory)

  • 본 연구는 조기 대통령 선거를 포함하여 거의 매년 실시되는 선거 상황에서 효과적인 정치캠페인을 전개하기 위한 전략적 함의를 제시하기 위한 목적에서 진행하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 유권자 271명을 대상으로 프레이밍(손실 vs. 이익), 관여도(고관여 vs. 저관여), 정치효능감(고정치효능감 vs. 저정치효능감)의 $2{\times}2{\times}2$의 삼원 실험설계에 기초하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 프레이밍, 정치효능감의 주효과는 발견되었으나 관여도의 주효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이원 변량분석 결과 프레이밍과 관여도의 상호작용은 유의하였으나, 프레이밍과 정치효능감의 상호작용효과는 유의하지 않았다. 또한 프레이밍, 관여도, 정치효능감의 삼원 상호작용효과도 유의한 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구는 전망이론을 정치캠페인 메시지의 효과를 검증하는데 사용된 경우는 많지 않으며, 전망이론을 선거 캠페인 메시지 연구에 도입함으로써 정치홍보 캠페인 전략에 대한 새로운 관점을 제시하는데 그 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.

전망이론 검증을 통한 부동산투자자들의 인지적 편의에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Cognitive Biases of The Korea Real Estate Market Through the Testing of Prospect Theory)

  • 본 연구는 부동산시장에서 개인투자자들에게 전망이론에 따른 투자패턴이 존재하는지 용도지역을 구분하여 검증하였다. 연구의 방법으로는 개인투자자들의 최대잠재이익률과 최대잠재손실률을 이용하였으며, 추가적으로 처분효과의 모형인 정성훈 박근우(2015) 모형을 이용하여 추가 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 개인투자자들에게 전망이론에 따른 투자패턴과 처분효과가 존재하는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 용도지역에 따른 차이가 나타났다. 개인투자자의 손실회피 성향이 주거용도 부동산자산 보다 상업용도의 부동산 자산에서 더 크게 나타났다. 투자행태에서 이러한 차이는 부동산의 목적과 임대료의 존재가 용도에 따른 투자행태의 차이를 만들어 내는 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구의 한계점으로는 정성훈 박근우(2015)의 연구와 같이 지가지수를 이용하여 미실현이익과 미실현손실을 분석하였다는 점이다. 이는 부동산투자심리에 대한 심도깊은 연구를 위해서는 새로운 부동산 가격지수에 대한 개발 또는 부동산자산에 대한 Benchmark가 필요하다는 것을 의미하며, 추후연구에서는 이를 발전시킬 필요가 있다.

  • 연구 목적은 조직원의 정보보안 관련 조직시민행동과 연관되는 인지과정의 영향관계를 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법은 개인의 전망차원(이익, 손실)과 조직의 목표지향성 차원(성취지향, 안정지향)의 교차설계를 실시하고, 정보보안인지요인은 분배공정성, 대처효능감, 자기효능감, 그리고 조직시민행동으로 구성하였다. 연구결과 전망차원은 대처효능감과 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 이익의 영향력이 손실보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 목표지향성은 대처효능감과 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 성취지향의 영향력이 안전지향보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 정보보안 요인간의 관계를 설명한 연구모형은 분배공정성, 대처효능감, 조직시민행동간의 부분매개모형으로 검증되었다. 연구의 시사점은 개인 의사결정 요인과 조직 문화 요인을 복합적으로 고려하여 정보보안 전략 수립을 하는 것이 필요함을 제시한다.

스마트폰을 대상으로 한 휴리스틱 및 프로스펙트 효과 분석: 프레이밍, 보유효과 및 조절초점 이론을 중심으로 (Analysis of the Heuristic Theory and the Prospect Theory for Smartphones: Focusing on Framing, Endowment Effect and Regulatory Focus Theory)

  • Purpose - In the present study, it has become the most important necessity in our daily lives that consumers' psychological factors affect the use of smartphones, and it has been analyzed through behavioral economic approaches. In this respect, the present study is intended to apply the heuristic theory and the prospect theory among behavioral economics theories to examine how psychological factors affect consumers' product selection. Research design, data, and methodology - In the present study, using smartphone repurchase as a dependent variable, whether regulatory focus effects have interaction effects on behavioral economic theories and behavioral economic effects such as possession (ownership) effects, framing effects, and brand recollection. As an analysis method, questionnaire surveys conducted with university students in Incheon were examined through Two-Way ANOVAs using the SPSS23 package. Results - The analysis from the results are as follows. Using smartphone repurchase as a dependent variable, the main effects and interaction effects on two variables; satisfaction difference with product functions and positive framing variable were statistically significant. Using repurchase as a dependent variable was statistically significant, there was no interaction effect between the two variables; satisfaction difference with product functions and the difference of brands in possession. Using smartphone repurchase as a dependent variable, interaction effects on two variables; satisfaction difference with product functions and the lengths of product possession periods were not statistically significant. The results from the analyses of interaction effects of brand recollection and brands type were statistically significant in possession using repurchase as a dependent variable. The results from the analyses of the main effect of the brands type were statistically significant in possession using repurchase as a dependent variable. Conclusions - The implication of the present study is that it suggests the factors that became important for customers' smartphone purchase following the change in the meaning of smartphones from practical products in the past to hedonic products. Limitations of the present study are first, the study subjects are limited to students and the number of copies in questionnaires is only approximately 130, which is insufficient, so that the present study is not sufficient as a study for entire smartphone users.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the complementary idea of the psychological elements in aesthetic expression of architectural space in the sense of healing. Marks $L\ddot{u}scher$, the swiss psychologist suggested reasonable categories of emotional character according to the couple combinations among Content, Self-Esteem, Confidence, and Liberty. His theory on healing is not only the concept but the practical method to understand and control the conflict between contrary elements of emotion. Compared to the Freud's objective theory of cause and consequence, his idea is focused on the subjective and autonomous harmony. This theory based on complementary idea is applied to psychological attitude of architects on Spatial Expression in this study. Refuge, Prospect, Flow and Void are assumed as equivalent spatial elements to the four major emotional conditions suggested by $M.L\ddot{u}scher$. The couple combinations among them also characterize the architectural characters definitely and it is expected to be the reasonable criteria in analysing aesthetic value and motive of creating human space.

  • This research was conducted to achieve several objectives and focus research was based on financial behavior theory and prospect theory as grounded theory e.g., investigate the financial decision-making behavior between financial and real assets investment, and confirm the relationship existing between herding behavior and overconfidence factors to the level of loss and regret aversion, and financial literacy into real assets investment decisions. The study used 220 real estate auction respondents as investor samples at the State Assets and Auction Service Office Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data was collected through the use of a questionnaire consisting of 23 questions to measure the variables. Moreover, the research data passed through several feasibility tests like the inner and outer modeling by Partial Least Square - Structural equation model (PLS-SEM) while the hypotheses formulated were also tested to determine the magnitude of the variable relationship. Through the use of the direct and intervening test, loss and regret aversion variables have a positive and significant effect while financial literacy variables have no significant effect. There is a slight difference in the decision-making process for real assets and financial assets investors. Investment decision making behavior in the financial assets sector requires less complicated decisions compared to the decisions related to real assets investments.

제주특별자치도 관광패키지상품 가격 평가: 전망이론을 적용하여 (Price Evaluations on Tourist of Jeju Tourism Package Product: Focused on Prospect Theory)

  • 본 논문은 제주관광과 직 간접적적으로 연계되어 있는 관광패키지 가격 메커니즘의 의사결정에 관한 연구로 제주도 관광패키지 12개의 상품을 선정하여 전망이론에 기초한 심리적 회계원칙과 프레이밍 효과를 One Way ANOVA 검정방법으로 분석하고 있다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 관광패키지 리스트가격정보를 제시할 때 묶음가격으로 제시하는 마케팅 전략이 필요하다. 둘째, 할인가격 정보는 기본패키지와 옵션패키지의 개별할인 정보를 단위별로 세분하여 공개하는 것이 바람직하다. 셋째, 가격(가격할인)정보 제공에서 관광상품 구매경험이 풍부한 관광객들은 경험이 적은 고객들보다 가격정보에 민감한 것으로 나타나 "프레이밍 효과"와 "지식-조합이론"이 일치하는 결과가 도출되었다. 따라서 리스트가격정보는 묶음가격으로 제시하는 한편, 가격할인상품은 할인정보를 어떠한 프레임으로 제시하느냐가 중요하며, 현대인의 관광상품 구매 관점을 파악하는 것과 시간, 노력, 바용 등이 절약될 수 있는 여행서비스상품을 제공하여 심리적 회계원칙에 안정감을 주는 것이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

  • We have lived in a highly dense environment since the rapid urbanization of the industrial age. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for individual spaces for telecommuting or non-face-to-face classes in residential spaces. In metropolitan cities in Korea, where there are many housing types for one-person, the sense of social isolation is increasing more than ever due to COVID-19. This study explored problems in residential spaces and the solutions to relieve the sense of social isolation in this pandemic era. The development process of the courtyard housing in France was examined as an example. Based on the case study, the meaning of threshold of contemporary architecture was reinterpreted, and the characteristics of the healing community space in this pandemic era were proposed by applying prospect and refuge theory.

Cryptocurrency Market: Behavioral Finance Perspective

  • The cryptocurrency market has received immense consideration in media and academia since the beginning of 2013 because of its huge price fluctuation. This study focuses on Arab investors who invest in the cryptocurrency market by investigating the influence of behavioral finance factors on investment decisions in the cryptocurrency market. A quantitative approach was used by employing a snowball sampling method through 112 questionnaires. The results show that herding theory, prospect theory, and heuristic theory have a significant effect on investors' investment decisions in the cryptocurrency market. This emphasizes the significant role of the proposed behavioral factors as determinants of the investors' investment decisions. This study contributes to the existing research by consolidating the results of different researches in this study. It also contributes to the investors' understanding of the dynamics of the cryptocurrency market and it enhances the ability to make informed decisions based on their understanding. The implication of the findings will prepare hit and run investors to be progressively prepared to stay in the cryptocurrency market and develop their abilities on the most proficient method to settle on sound venture choices. Furthermore, the findings of this study will encourage financial specialists to realize that information on the traditional finance theory is not adequate to excel in the cryptocurrency market.
