양생(養生)을 위한 향기치료(香氣治療)의 한의학적 적용(適用)과 전망(展望) (Application and Prospective of Aroma Therapy for Preservation of Health(養生))

  • Aroma therpay in the western classical medicine is compared with the mechanistic paradigm of Newton physics which is the foundation of western modern medicine. It is the therapy whose basic principle is very similar to the basic concepts of oriental medicine lasting thousands of years. We know that parts of their therapies are explained by Yin-Yan and five elements in Oriental Medicine. In the modern western medicine, as preventive medicine is becoming more and more important and moreover, health promotion and self healing care is being emphasized, Maintenanayce which is the oriental preventive medicine, acts in concert with the concept of New Age of Science and provides a way for the Oriental Medicine of the future. The health promotion and self healing care is similar to the thought of Maintenanayce in Oriental Medicine. Oriental Medicine has provided the concept of preventive ehaling care for a long time and built the foundation of the department of Maintenanayce. Among these method of Preservation of Health, We could find that of using fragrance throuth the several references. By comparing the department of Maintenanayce in oriental preventive medicine with the books and papers about aroma therapy, used in the fields of naturalpathy medicine, alternative medicine, and complementary medicine in the west, and by analyzing them, centering around references, to see whether they are reasonable and corresponding, the following conclusions have been reached. 1. We could see that aroma therapy of oriental preventive medicine could be applied to the fields of health promotion and self healing cure, recently appearing in the world of health medicine, as a modern way of Preservation of Health(養生). 2. We could see that western traditional aroma therapy take important position in alternative medicine and complementary medicine, and it could be developed as the transitional field of medical cure for the interchange between western and eastern medicine. 3. We could see that aroma therapy is not totally unknown therapy and there is some points of similarity in the traditional references of oriental medicine. Also, it is considered that the aroma therapy has a possibility of coming the front as an general therapy among various therapies. 4. aroma therapy will be actively applied to many fields such as oriental psychiatry, internal medicine of the respiratory system, pediatrics, oriental nursing, oriental dermatologic beauty, and preventive medicine. Therefore, we have a view that the combination between aroma therapy and oriental medicine will be fairly valuable to study as the general and transtional middle step on which it will prepare the situation of oriental medicine's reimportation from the west and we establish a bridgehead to export the oriental medicine.

해운산업의 인지도 분석과 인식 제고 방안 (An Analysis of Shipping Industry Awareness and Its Implications)

  • 이 연구는 일반인들이 해운업에 대해 어떻게 생각하고 얼마나 중요하게 생각하는지 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 해운산업에 대해 조금 알고 있다거나, 보통이다라는 대답이 과반 수 이상을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 국적선사 파산 방지를 위한 예산투입 필요성에 대해서는 대체로 필요하다거나 보통이다라는 대답이 50% 이상을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 국적선사 유지 필요성에 대해서 대체로 필요하다가 53%, 보통이다가 23%로 나타났다. 그러나, 국적선사 유지가 나와 나의 가정에 혜택을 준다고 생각하는가에 대한 질문에는 보통이다가 39%, 대체로 그렇다가 28%로 나타났다. 한진해운 파산 원인에 대해서는 오너일가의 부도덕 및 무능이 49%, 해운시황 악화가 17.4%로 나타났다. 해운업 육성 필요성에 대해서는 해상운송 서비스 수출을 통해 외화획득 및 서비스수지 개선이 43.5%, 수출입 화물의 원활한 운송이 36.5%를 차지했다. 한진해운 파산으로 나는 어떤 피해를 입었는가에 대한 질문에는 기타(별로 없음)이 54.6%, 물가 상승이 14.5%로 나타났다. 해운산업 인식제고방안에 대한 개방형 질문에 홍보, 투명의 빈도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 통해 일반인들이 해운업에 대해 생각하는 중요도는 대체로 높지 않은 것으로 보인다. 또한, 한진해운 파산의 원인이 오너일가의 무능 및 부도덕을 제1 원인으로 꼽고, 해운업 인식제고 방안으로 투명을 꼽는 것으로 볼 때 한진그룹 일가의 부도덕이 국민적 공분을 산 것으로 볼 수 있고, 이것이 해운업의 이미지 악화에 영향을 준 것으로 보여진다. 따라서 우리 해운업계는 최근 각광 받고 있는 ESG 경영을 강화해야 하겠다. 홍보와 관련해서 학회 차원에서는 유튜브 채널을 운영해 대중의 눈높이에 맞는 해운과 항만지식 정보 제공이 필요하다고 할 수 있겠다.

미국 의류직물산업의 경쟁력 강화정책 고찰 (A Study on Policy and Movement to Strengthen the Competitiveness of U.S. Textile and Apparel Industries)

  • The U.S. response to increased international competition was examined in the present study in order to have more comprehensive understanding of the U.S. textile and clothing market. The method employed to conduct the study was the analysis of the written materials, interview with professionals, and the survey of the actual situations of the U.S. textile and apparel industries. The results are summarized as follows; 1. Official U.S. textile and apparel trade policy has been quite has been quite protective since 1950's. The protective trend has been embodied in Japan Cotton Textile Export Control (reciprocal trade agreement signed by the U.S. and Japan in 1957), Short Term Arrangement Regarding International Trade in Cotton Textiles, Long Term Cotton Textile Arrangement (1962∼1973), and Multi-fiber Arrangement (1974∼). Other governmental programs designed to improve the competitiveness of the U.S. textile and apparel industries include Long-term Textile and Apparel Products Export-expansion Program, and 807 Trade to take labor cost advantage. 2. Along with the quite protective governmental trade policy, the corporate responses have been made such as new sourcing mixes, investment in technology, specialization in the textile and apparel industries, and recent strategies pursued by retailer's. The apparel industry was subject to pressure from imports that increased at moderate levels, and the U.S. textile and apparel industries have made extensive efforts to adjust to the increasing competition from abroad. The textile and apparel industries have taken steps to increase labor productivity through automation, to speed management to create and introduce new products and new methods, and have lowered indirect overhead costs. Several industrywide promotion campaigns have attempted to establish a greater public awareness of international competition and to develop a preference for apparel produced in the United States. 3. Regarding these response of the U.S. and other situations of world textile and apparel trade market, much of the sense of crisis that pervades Korean textile and apparel industries has to do with the problem of adjusting government and corporate policy. Textile and apparel industry of Korea faces on going pressure to reduce costs, improve quality, increase service, develop new markets, diversify, and differentiate itself from its foreign competitors. The strategies that have been adopted in the past have generally worked in the past, but the time has come to adopt strategies that reflect present conditions. If this is not done, then we stand to lose large segments of these industries, which once lost will not easily be regenerated.

공간정보산업 해외진출을 위한 공간정보 오픈플랫폼(V-World) 패키지상품 모형 개발 연구 (Research and development of the V-World packaged goods model for the overseas expansion of the spatial information industry)

  • 포화상태인 국내 공간정보산업시장을 확장하기 위해서는 해외 진출이 필수적이나, 현재의 공간정보산업 해외 진출은 시장 확장에 한계를 보이고 있다. 또한, 공간정보산업의 해외진출 전략은 국내-해외 공간정보산업을 동시에 고려하여 해외진출 전략의 실효성을 담보해야 한다. 이러한 공간정보 산업현황에서 공간정보 오픈플랫폼은 매우 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 보여 진다. 이에 공간정보 세계시장에서 국내 공간정보산업이 수출 경쟁력 확보를 위해 본 연구에서는 그 방안의 하나로 공간정보 오픈플랫폼 기반의 패키지 상품 모형 개발 연구를 진행하였다. 먼저 공간정보산업 해외진출 현황 및 특징을 파악하였고, 상품으로서의 공간정보 오픈플랫폼을 파악하기 위해 해외 수요와 공간정보 오픈플랫폼과의 관계를 도출하고 판매 대상 및 방법을 제시하였다. 이와 같은 내용을 기반으로 공간정보 오픈플랫폼을 활용한 융 복합 패키지 수출 기본 전략을 수립하고 상품의 기본 개념, 구성 요소를 설계하였다. 수출대상국 수요 지향적 전략, 공간정보 오픈플랫폼 기반 전략, 국내기업 연계-통합형 전략으로 구분하여 오픈플랫폼 기반 융 복합패키지 상품 기본모형까지 설계하였고, 이러한 융 복합 패키지 상품 구성에 따라 공간정보 관련 기업의 해외 진출 촉진을 기대할 수 있다.

한국산 포도의 중국 소비자 인식조사 연구 (Study on Chinese Consumers'Awareness of Korean Grape)

  • 포도 재배면적과 생산량이 줄고 있는 상황에서도, 재배농가의 끊임없는 노력과 농촌진흥기관의 기술개발을 통해서 한국산 샤인머스캣이 현재 국내 소비자는 물론 해외 소비자들에게 인기를 얻고 있으며, 이에 따라 타 품종에 비해 재배면적과 생산량이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 새로운 수요처 발굴과 수출 증대를 통해서 포도 산업의 지속성을 유지하는 것이 무엇보다도 필요한 때이다. 본 연구에서는 중국 소비자들에게 한국산 샤인머스캣을 구매하는데 영향을 주는 요인들(사전, 사후)이 어떻게 평가되고 있는지, 향후 구매로 이어질 수 있는지 여부를 실증적으로 규명하고자, 부분최소자승-구조방정식 모형을 사용해서 2017년 10월 중국 광저우에서 개최된 국제중소기업박랍회 행사장에서 시식과 설문조사를 통해 수집한 유의한 102명의 응답자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사전요인(외관, 착색, 신선도, 알 크기) 보다 사후 요인(당도, 식감)이 좋은 평가를 받고 향후 구매로 이어지는데 통계적으로 유의하며 큰 역할을 함을 보였으며 이에 따른 품질관리의 방향성에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다. 다만, 자료의 보완을 통해서 관찰되지 않는 설문응답자 내의 집단을 보다 면밀히 분석해야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 집단의 특성과 수요에 보다 맞는 맞춤형 품질관리와 수출방안이 뒤따라야 함을 한계로 남긴다. 또한, 조사대상자의 인구통계 특성과 중국 전체 모집단과 차이가 있으므로 분석결과를 해석에 유의할 필요가 있다. 포도수출 확대노력은 포도 생산농가의 소득향상과 경영안정성을 높이고, 국내 포도산업에 활력을 줄 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 또한 신품종에 대한 안정적 생산 수확후 관리기술 개발 및 농가 기술보급, 수출조직 육성이 병행되어야 할 것이다. 또한 일본이 개발한 샤인머스캣 재배에서 더 나아가 소비트렌드에 부합하는 국내품종을 중장기적으로 육성할 필요가 있다. 또한 수출성공을 위해서는 국내 업체간 과당경쟁, 저가경쟁 등을 예방하고, 의견을 조율할 협의체 구성과 함께 한국산 포도라는 점을 내세워 프리미엄 제품을 생산해 중산층 이상의 중국시장 진출을 모색할 필요가 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Status and Prospects of Food Irradiation Technology in Korea

  • In Korea, the health authorities and food industry emphasize the need of sanitary food production, which in mainly resulted from the recent growing of consumer's interest in the safety of food. For the reason, development of a new alternative technology to chemicals, currently used for decontamination and disinfestation, has become and urgent task in the domestic and worldwide food industry. Furthermore, the improvement of quality and manufacturing process of processed food is a requisite for winning the competition in export fields. Irradiation technology being practically applicable in the food industry has been well established on the basis of more than 40 years of R&D work in the fields of the increasing availability of food-stuffs, sanitary food production and quarantine treatment in the food trade. The wholesomeness of irradiation foods has been officially approved in 38 countries, of which 30 countries are commercially utilizing food irradiation technology. The first commercial irradiator in Korea(18.5PBq:500k{TEX}$Ci^{60}${/TEX} Co, max. cap; 4MCi) was established at Yeoju-gur, Kyung Ki-do with the technical assistance of Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute in June 1987. As of 1996, thirteen irradiated food groups (over 25 items)have been domestically approved for human consumption and an industrial irradiation facility is also available.   • 인터넷의 급속한 보급 및 확산은 국제무역에 있어 일대 혁신을 초래하고 있으며, 특히 해외시장조사, 해외홍보 및 마케팅, 거래선 발굴, 신용조사, 거래협상 등 계약체결까지 거래경로를 시간적 제약 및 공간적 제약 없이 신속하고, 정확하며, 적은 비용으로 글로벌 비즈니스를 수행할 수 있는 토대가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 비용절감, 시장업무 프로세스 혁신, 업무처리개선, 외부요구, 내부요청 등과 같은 주요 전자무역의 동기요인이 e-mail, 웹 서비스, EDI, Internet-EDI와 같은 전자무역을 위한 정보기술의 활용수준에 영향을 미치고 궁극적으로 국내 수출기업들의 기업성과 향상에 영향을 미친다는 것을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 또 본 연구는 동기요인이외에 기업이 인터넷을 통한 전자무역의 활용에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 환경요인, 기업특성 요인 및 산업특성 요인들을 함께 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과, 본 연구에서 제시한 요인들이 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다.

  • Focusing on the cases applied to korean brand-name apartments In 1960s, economical growth and introduction of western-type cultures led to a boom of apartment construction. After internationalization'in 1980s through Olympic games in 1988, korean culture has attracted attention and individual life quality has been improved. Since 1990s, changes in personal life style has affected the housing culture and the construction companies started moving from quantitative supply to developing their own differential characteristics. Differentiation scheme triggered by construction companies since mid-1990s mainly focused on various ideas for space deployment. Space plans include such things as a private ground, a kitchen in the south, etc. while interior plans include to provide selection of the korean traditional style, natural or casual one. 'korean traditional style' apartment is one of such theme of the brand-named apartment. Interests on 'Tradition' can be broken down into a social trend and media trend. Firstly, the former includes the designation of Bukchon as a reserving area, one of the governmental 'Hanok Survival Program', and traditional building promotion scheme on the basis of construction policy plans. Secondly, the latter covers the interests which attract through the media showing oriental cosmetics, korean culture export via Hallyu, popularity of korean dramas, etc. Thus, it seems worth studying on the apartments with traditional factors. And also, this study aims to setup the concept and trends of korean traditional style apartments through the interior expression on the korean-factor space developed by brand-name apartments so that it could correct such false knowledge out of misunderstood concept of traditional space which results from simple decoration or structure type not accompanying Korean emotion or spirit rendered by some misleading media.

Potential Crisis and Opportunity in the K-pop Choreography Copyright

  • This study aims to expose the potential dangers of K-pop through the past and present of K-pop choreography copyrights and to suggest the need to secure digital choreography copyrights for the sustainability of K-pop considering national responsibility. As the content industry quickly sought countermeasures to digital transformation, such as the launch of K-pop platforms and the evolution of OMO (Online Merges with Offline) media commerce in response to changes in the industrial environment due to COVID-19, the annual export of the domestic content industry increased by 6.3% compared to the previous year. Accordingly, our copyright does not require that works be fixed in tangibles, as in Japan and Germany, on the basis of entrusting each country's legislation to determine whether to require fixation on choreographed works. On the other hand, the United States, France and the United Kingdom are demanding that it be fixed. Although choreography is at the center of K-pop and the value and influence of K-pop videos including cover dance through new media are discussed from various perspectives, copyright on choreography that needs to be resolved in business platforms for K-pop scalability The fact that there is such a big difference in problem perception is an area where we must not lose our vigilance. As the development of today's technology, the method of fixing a choreography looks very easy as an image, but at the same time can be stolen very quickly. Therefore, compared to overseas cases, it is urgent to improve the difference in perception of copyright registration for K-pop choreography and to supplement the system include the NFT.

An Empirical Study on the Effects of Export Promotion on Korea-China-Japan Using Logistics Performance Index (LPI)

  • Purpose - "Trade Facilitation" aims the easier flow of trade across borders, driven not only by effective customs administration, the efficiency of appropriate authorities, but also by telecommunications, the quality of infrastructures and competent logistics. Facilitating trade will help lower trade development costs as well as improve economic development and enhance economic benefits for emerging economies at a time when imports and exports are sent in and out across borders several times in the form of intermediate and final products. Not only that, globalization is being accelerated, which in turn increases competitiveness and this makes logistics one of the key factors when it comes to international trade. Highly efficient logistics services promote product movement, ensure product safety and delivery speed, and reduce trade costs between countries. The purpose of this study is, by using the LPI indices based on gravity model estimates, to analyze the impact of each LPI component on trade with the 20 biggest exporting countries of Northeast Asian countries-Korea, Japan, and China-which account for 19.05% of global exports. Design/methodology - Also, this study statistically analyzes the impact of trade on Northeast Asian countries' top 20 exporting countries, using the LPI indices relevant to Trade Facilitation based on the gravity model estimates. Findings - As a result, it was turned out that the distance, GDP, and the LPI components have relevant impact on the trade exports of all three countries but demonstrated little relation to the demographic perspective. Originality/value - The study also found we can increase the trade volume by improving three countries' trade partners' LPI indices since Korea, Japan, and China share most of their 20 biggest trade partners.
