This study was conducted to investigate the motives and effects of artists and teachers who participated in the ' Explore Life through Art' support project for school education by theme of culture and arts. As a result of research analysis using online survey and in-depth interview research method, it was found that both intrinsic and extrinsic motives have a complex effect on artists and teachers' motivation to participate in the project. As for the effectiveness of participating in the project, the trust between artists and teachers and the contribution of education were positive, but the trust and satisfaction with the institution were negative. In order to increase the effectiveness of the project, it is required to improve the operation and management of the operating institution. Motivation and effectiveness of project participation are important factors in improving the quality of a project, and it is hoped that this study will serve as a basis for practical discussions on the role of operating institutions and projects.

This study used meta-analysis to synthesize the effectiveness of the project approach. After reviewing 51 studies, we analyzed the effect size of 119 articles published between 1990 and 2002 using SAS 8.2 program. The grand average of the project approach effectiveness was 1.03. This implies that the experimental group that employing the project approach is more effective than control group by the 35 percentile. We also found that the project approach is more effective for preschool children group (1.21, 89%) than for the elementary school children group (0.88, 81%). Specific variables regarding the effectiveness of the project approach were analyzed and its consequences were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of educational satisfaction on project effectiveness, and the mediating effect of participation satisfaction between educational satisfaction and project effectiveness of employment promotion project for the elderly. The data were Research of the aged joining employment promotion project for the elderly made by Korea Labor Force Development Institute for the Aged in 2010 and the total subject was 1220. Descriptive analysis, correlations analysis, and the multiple regression analysis for research model test were used. Additionally, Sobel test was used to verify the significant mediating effect. Results were obtained in this study as the educational satisfaction have significant effects on participation satisfaction. And the mediating effect of educational satisfaction on project effectiveness is statistically significant. Based on the findings, in order to increase project effectiveness, we need to realize the importance of education for the aged joining employment promotion project for the elderly, and consider the participation satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the job satisfaction, and project effectiveness of employment promotion project for the elderly, and to suggest practical implications for social work services for those the elderly. Data for this study were collected through the use of a survey instrument completed by 240 samples over 60 years of age. Collected data were analysed by multiple regression. The findings of this study were as follows: this study provided clear evidence that the depression was very important variable which affected on project effectiveness of employment promotion project for the elderly. Based on these findings, in order to increase project effectiveness, we need to realize the importance of job satisfaction management, and suggested effective intervention programs.

This study is aimed to analyze the economic effectiveness (direct fishing income effect) of the marine afforestation project in Gangneung region. Based on the surveyed data, the production values and costs of the marine afforestation project are estimated and compared to determine the economic validity of the marine afforestation project. Results show that the B/C ratio, as an indicator of economic evaluation, is 1.30 with an interest rate of 5.5%, indicating that the marine afforestation project in Gangneung region would be economically feasible under the current production and market conditions. However, it is expected that the economic effectiveness would be increased when considering benefits of recreational fishing and greenhouse gas reduction from the marine afforestation project.

We tried to find the optimal growth conditions of sea cucumber and to analyze the economic effectiveness of the sea cucumber seedling release project in Korea. We first examined the optimal growth conditions of sea cucumber in the relating literatures. Then, we analyzed the economic effectiveness of the sea cucumber seedling release project of the Woncheon fishing village union of Gyeongnam Province in 2016-2018 by using the cost benefit analysis method. The net income of the release project of the Woncheon fishing village union was 69,850 Korean won. The benefit to cost ratio of the sea cucumber seedling release project of the Woncheon fishing village union was estimated to be 1.7, indicating that the project was economically feasible. In order to improve the economic feasibility of the sea cucumber release project, as we see in the case of the Woncheon fishing village union, it is necessary to manage the purchase of the sea cucumber seedling, to improve the recapture rate of sea cucumber, and to manage marketing of sea cucumber.

Despite the careful attention paid by managers and researchers to the effective administration of the S/W Development Project, there are cases where the project goes over-budget or misses deadlines. Existing research blames these problems on task complexity or mismanagement. In order to verify the results that varied according to the fitness between the Task Characteristics and the Project Management Types, a contingency model was employed. The verification of the contingency model demonstrated that the greater the task complexity, the greater the effectiveness of the project coordination, and the lesser the task complexity, the greater the effectiveness of project control. This research is theoretically important in that it develops a composite model to verify the relation between the three factors of Task Characteristics, Project Management Types, and Project Performance that compose the S/W Development Project.

It is well known that PMO (Project Management Office)s are effective for successful project performance. Since it takes a long time to develop PMO capability, many public organizations and companies that do not have internal PMOs are increasingly relying on outsourcing of PMO functions in order to introduce mature PMO capabilities in a short period of time. However, it is not verified yet whether outsourced PMO is more effective than internal PMO or not. The objective of this study is to verify the effectiveness of PMO outsourcing. There are many different definitions about PMO function, and even the same PMO function may have different effectiveness depending on the Industry. Thus, this study redefined the PMO functions and Project Performance based on the past studies, and conducted research by focusing on the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) industry. The ICT industry is an important industry economically and has been attracting global attention recently. This study is the first attempt to prove the effectiveness of outsourcing of PMO function in Korea. We found that PMO function outsourcing is effective for certain aspects of project performance, particularly technical support and infrastructure management. Overall, PMO outsourcing is usually more effective than internal PMO for improving project performance. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of PMO theories and practices.

Successfully adapting to digital and customer-oriented transformation, the concept of lean manufacturing professes the philosophy of creating greater benefit while minimizing losses. These losses are operations that do not add value in the production process to ensure the efficiency, flexibility, and profitability of projects. In the context of broad automation and digitalization of all sectors of the economy, mechanisms for combining automation technologies and lean production are becoming available. Moreover, when it comes to the efficient use of financial, human, or material resources, it is clear that the use of Industry 4.0 technologies can be an effective tool for achieving the goals of lean production, as many of them pursue the same goal. In this context, this article aims to study the effectiveness of the implementation of project management concepts at the global level and identify the main factors influencing its effectiveness to ensure the achievement of lean production through LEAN technologies and Industry 4.0 technologies. To achieve this goal, several statistical indicators were selected and several statistical methods of analysis were used: pairwise correlation, regression analysis, methods of comparison, synthesis, and generalization. Statistical analysis was conducted according to a survey conducted by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2020. An economic-mathematical model of dependence of project effectiveness in different regions of the world on the level of implementation of project management approaches is built, which shows that the increase in project effectiveness by 85% is due to financial losses, technical training, and consumer orientation. These results allow project managers to develop appropriate strategies to improve project management approaches at all levels. It is established that LEAN technologies and technologies of Industry 4.0 have several tools that have a positive effect on minimizing losses following the concept of lean production. Besides, given that the technology of Industry 4.0 is focused on the automation of Lean Production technology, a mechanism for the introduction of lean production using these technologies and methods.

The slowdown of the global economic market due to the pandemic is causing the global construction market to stagnate, and the use of smart construction technology is drawing attention as one of the main alternatives to overcome this problem. In fact, a number of previous studies have been published that smart construction technologies such as building information modeling and drones can contribute to project performance improvement, such as productivity improvement and cost reduction. However, previous studies focus on the application direction and technical effectiveness of smart construction technology, so the analysis in terms of the contribution that the application of the technology has to the project performance is insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to focus on the effectiveness aspect of the application of smart construction technology on the project performance. The results of this study are expected to be able to be used as basic data for establishing policies related to the activation of smart construction technology promoted by the government and setting the direction for the use of smart construction technology by stakeholders.
