This study is the second study which was aimed to validate the Infant/ Toddler Environment Rating Scale(ITERS). The test-retest reliability included 10 infant/toddler classes among 30 national/public and private child care centers in Inchon city which had been observed in the first validation study. The Spearman's correlation coefficient for test-retest reliability was ranged from .52 to .84. In addition, two raters observed 10 family day care centers in Inchon city, where two observers independently rated each centers on the ITERS during a single visit. The Spearman's correlation coefficient for interrater reliability was ranged from.72 to .99 For the second measure of content validity, experts who were working in day care centers and who were graduate students, lecturers, or professors majoring child studies rated the appropriateness of each ITERS items for the provision of high-quality programs for infants and toddlers, using a 1(low) to 5(high) scale. The mean rating was ranged from 2.52 to 4.52. In sum, when the rating scores were analyzed by the type of child care centers, national/public child care centers have better quality than private or family child care centers.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among role conflict coping strategy and psychological distress of dual-career wives. In order to achieve the study purpose the theoretical model of this study was built on the basis of relevant theories and previous studies, Especially it was influenced by the ABCX model of family stress proposed by Hill, Data were collected from 229 dual-career wives such as professors doctors lawyers teachers pharmacists and nurses. The results were as follows: 1. Role conflict was negatively correlated to self-esteem and positively correlated to psychological distress. 2) in terms of a main effect coping strategy was positively correlated to self-esteem and negatively correlated to psychological distress. 3) In terms of interaction effect coping strategy did not show any significant effect against the negative impacts of role conflict on self-esteem and it on the whole did not whole a significant effect against the positive impacts of role conflict of psychological distress.

This paper designs a peer tutoring in Flipped Learning environments for effective game programming(TGF), suggests a result of survey and a lesson learned from game programming in terms of students' and professors' perspectives in hands-on program training using Snake game programming as an applied example. The TGF is more effective than the traditional classroom to achieve the learning goals of game programming course.

Health behavior of the people is not satisfactory and it is recommended that proper health education methods be utilized for health promotion of the people. In order to accomplished health promotion objectives. it is necessary to assign teachers specialized in health education to schools and health educators to communities. Health promotion bill is prepared by members of national assembly and the government has to develope a sound policy for the health promotion of the people. In developed countries. health educator are serving communities and help people for health promotion. It is recommended that health educators be assigned to local health departments and local health centers throughout Korea, and to general hospitals. It is recommended that public health related associations, health education association and professors of health care departments in colleges work together for better health services through health education. The most important variable to affecting KAP level of people on environmental health was education level.

The purpose of this study was to develop a pre-training program of engineering college students for maximizing the effectiveness of internship or field training. To pursue this goal, literature review was conducted for data collection about college and corporate pre-training program for internship or field training and pre-training program(draft) was proposed. A questionnaire survey was conducted with engineering professors, students and graduates to identify the needs for pre-training program(draft) for internship or field training. Based on the results, the contents of pre-training program for internship or field training were composed of basic liberal arts, basic competency, real information related with corporation or job, and information exchange network. And key consideration for operating the pre-training program for internship or field training were proposed with the management department, regulation for the obligatory participation, meaningful organizing content, feedback of needs.

This paper is about to research the contents of writing course to foster communication skills for engineering students. Some domestic college writing textbooks were analyzed to list the course contents. Studying 'technical writing' leads to identify the materials for both basic composition skills and technical writing skills. Then some reasons for selecting those materials and things about professors for the course as well as teaching the course are discussed. Developing proper textbook and the techniques for teaching those materials is a valuable task for the writing course.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the current status of team learning in engineering education. For this, literature review and survey were used. The survey was conducted with 16 professors and 627 students in engineering college. Based on the results, team should be organized in consideration of various characteristics and competencies for effective team learning activities in engineering education. And in the team learning operations, it is necessary to make the conditions for students to immerse in team learning through the activation of communication of team members, tightening management of free riding in team learning, and optimizing team learning period. It is necessary to use the team learning evaluation method in harmony with the team, individual and peer evaluation.

The Mathematics Teaching Efficacy Beliefs Instrument is one of the most popular instruments used to measure elementary preservice teachers' efficacy beliefs in mathematics teaching. The instrument was, however, developed in the United States and is perhaps not appropriate for other cultures. In this study, the instrument was translated into Korean and carefully reviewed by Korean mathematics teacher education professors. Analysis of the review indicated that eight out of the 21 items were appropriate while the others needed to be revised. Items were identified as inappropriate due to awkwardness, multiple meanings, tense disagreements, and vagueness. These items were modified to better fit the Korean context. The instrument was revised with two versions: one for elementary and the other for secondary pre service teachers.

A roadmap for Electrical Safety Technology has been designed based on the study that has been contributed by the specialists, professors and researchers in electral safety field. The roadmap is divided into five major fields including, for instance, the electrical fire accidents roadmap. The other four roadmaps are for electrical shock accidents, electrical facilities accidents, electrical safety policies and electrical safety culture-education, respectively. Each roadmap has a purpose, a scope, and a technical characteristic. Following the roadmaps can result in significant reduction of electrical fire accidents, electrical shock accident victims and so forth. The result can also be utilized in guiding the planning and development of the future electrical safety technology.

This study proposes University 2.0 as a model case of open, flexible, and distributed learning environment for higher education based on theoretical foundations and perspectives. As web 2.0 technologies emerge into the field of education, ways of generating and disseminating information and knowledge have been drastically changed. Professors are no longer the only source of knowledge. Students using internet often become prosumers of knowledge who search and access information through the web as well as publish their own knowledge using the web. A concept and framework of University 2.0 is introduced for implementing the new interactive learning paradigm with an open, flexible and distributed learning environment for higher education. University 2.0 incorporates online and offline learning environments with various educational media. Furthermore, it employs various learning strategies and integrates formal and informal learning through learning communities. Both instructors and students in University 2.0 environment are expected to be active knowledge generators as well as creative designers of their own learning and teaching.
