The study surveyed 350 people who are over 18 and not related to dentistry with questionnaires in order to examine image and preference of dental technicians. The data analysis was done using the SPSS 21.0 for Windows. As for the analysis methods, the study used the frequency analysis, percentage, t-test, f-test. Through these analyses, the following conclusions were made. The score on the image of dental technicians declined in the order of occupational image(3.62), work image(3.46). The necessity of professional knowledge and techniques in the occupational image had the highest score with 4.17. Also, the image showing that it is professional had a score of 4.14 and the image that shows hardworking and stressful occupation showed the lowest score with 2.43. The study on the preference of dental technicians showed a low score of 2.67. The respondents who are in the 20s(3.53), and who are students(3.29) showed a high score. Also, people who have monthly income of less than 1.5 million won showed a high score of 2.91.With the help of information technology.

A qualification of staffer required for communication is an administrative measure giving as occupational certificate after some examination for knowledge, technique and faculty in vocational ability to adapt to intrinsic of telecommunication. This certificate has the cause of an attribution of over the sphere of telecommunication, and so it has been originated in international situation, and then some of them is forced by international law, otherwise it be in common use between the nations. The Characteristic and orthodox of communication certificate has been succeded continually in company with development of telecommunication and the appliable field of them is specified, but the sovereign power of nation is approved by ITU that she can extent the applicable position for communication certificate and coordinate the utility of qualification for telecommunication value. Korean telecommunication law excepted the application of communication certificate in public communication field. It is unreasonable and even disobeyed against the theory of communication science and intrinsic of telecommuncation. Therefore it should be corrected immediately and then communication certificate have to accept in the public communication field at all, if so, the application field of communication certificate can have more than useful extenxion such as administration measure should be achieved by the management committee for qualification system in Ministry of Science and Technique and competemce Minister appointed according to special kind of certificate and the administration have to manage by the method and proccess caused by communication science or cooperative system between administration, industry, education and science. And, then, every acquisitor of qualification also has to try to perfect his vocational duty sincerely and to promote each self-realization.
Koreans have emphasized education as the primary means to reconstruct our country means to reconstruct our country after two catastrophic events-the Japanese occupation and the Korean War(1950-1953). After nearly three decades of reconst-ructing our completely devastated country, Korea has become a modern, cosmo-politan, fast-paced and dynamic country. In order to further increaser our manufac- turing capabilities and double the per-capita income by the beginning of the 21st century, we must improve productivitiy and encourage creatitivity in all sectors of our country. The S & T community's efforts in research and development. education, and interna-tional cooperation will be invaluable in determining our direction and reaching these goals. The general public is eager to peacefully unite our foreign powers since 1945. Toward that end. members of the S & T community are willing to coope-rate with our north Korean counterparts in all areas of S & T with the exception of defense related endeavors. Establi-shing scientific ties with north Korea will result in mutual economic benefit and greater regional stability in East Asia. In particular. scientists and manu-facturers in each province are eager to initiate cordial and professional relation-ships with north Korea in the hopes of securing these benefits. The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies(KOFST) has played an important role both in developing S & T policies, and in gostering the frowty of S & T societies. A non-governmental umbrella organization composed of over 251 professional societies, KOFST facili-tates the transfer of research outcomes and technology from research institutions to the various industries. KOFST also seeks to increase cooperation between the countries of the Pacific Rim. As evidence of that, we have pursued joint research and industrial ventures with China. Established projects include those on environmental conditions in the Yellow Sea, and improvement of aircraft manufacturing, telecommunica-tion equipment, and agricultural produ-cts. Increased cooperation between the Pacific Rim countries, particularly in S & T, would foster social and economic development for the region as a whole.
This study was to explore the meaning and implications of nurses' representations in newspapers from the perspective of convergence. Four different Korean newspaper articles from Aug. 2003 to Sep. 2013 were analyzed by using a descriptive exploratory qualitative study, thematic analysis. Five themes were derived from the data analysis. In the newspaper, in general, professional nurses were described as patient-centered nursing provider with sense of calling for nursing. Also their positive portrayals as health professionals have noticeably emerged. Yet in contrast, nurses' negative portrayals as neglectful, lazy, and discriminating against the poor have been reported. The study findings indicate significantly enhanced nursing professionalism and nursing as a future-promising occupation. The results can be used to develop strategies to improve nursing public image in the media. For further exploratory study on the subscriber's image of nurses after reading the articles is needed.
Metro subway construction is a field that requires a great deal of professional manpower. The aging of professionals has a negative impact on both productivity and health, owing to poor working environments, heavy lifting, underground work, and other factors. To address this issue, the government is progressively revising and enforcing health management law and regulation in the construction industry. Thus, the job stress and work ability of many professional subway construction workers, who are rapidly aging, are being analyzed to ensure their safety and improve their health. In this study, the Macpa stress index of Busan Metro Subway construction workers from Sasang to Hadan line was measured by using a Macpa measurement machine, and a work ability survey was conducted by using the questionnaire that was developed by the FIOH. The independent variables were age, years of service, job position, employment type, and occupation. While, the dependent variables were the Macpa stress index and work ability. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used because it was difficult to assume that the statistics of this study represented a normal distribution. The results showed that age, job position, and employment type affected Macpa stress index and revealed that as the age of the workers increased, their stress levels increased as well. Additionally, job position and employment type affected the work ability of the metro subway construction workers. In terms of job position, the technical engineers were under a lot of stress, and whereas the managers had the best work ability. The technical engineers were more stressed than the other workers because of a poor working environment. In terms of employment type, daily workers were under more stress and lower work ability than others.
This study was aimed to investigate the effects of Organizational Socialization Education Program on new nurse's job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention. This study was utilized a non equvalent control group post only design. The subjects of this study were total 76 nurses in total. Data were collected from 1st to 31th July, 2012. For the experimental group, 16 hours lectures on Organizational Socialization Education Program was given. Data were analyzed by Frequency, $X^2$, Fisher's Exact test & t-test. The findings of this study were as the followings: As proposed in the hypothesis, the subjects in the experimental group experienced more job satisfaction(t= -2.10, p=.039), more organization commitment(t= -2.68, p=.009), less perceived turnover intention(t= 4.65, p=.000), than those in the control group. The results of this study shows that Organizational Socialization Education Program is considered an effective program to improve job satisfaction, organizational commitment and to lessen turnover intention for new nurses. The Organizational Socialization Education program would be continually necessary to contribute to development of professional nursing occupation.

Objective : This study is to know about the play awareness of occupational therapists with using the sensory integration approach, and is to suggest educational strategies of play as occupation and research. Methods : 124 occupational therapists completed the questionnaires including the general use of play in occupational practice and the use of play assessments with preschoolers, and factors influence on the use of play in occupational therapy for children. Results : Respondents used the play as therapy modality and performed much with based on sensory integration and development approach in individual occupational therapy room with variable play tools. It was restricted to use as objective assessment tools and methods, and had important factors that influence on the use of play in occupational therapy for children; role of occupational therapy in work setting, personal frame of reference and availability of play assessments. Conclusion : The results suggest a need for increasing the emphasis on play in entry-level curricula and continuing education, improving clinician access to valid and reliable play assessments, and completing studies designed to examine the use and efficacy of play in sensory integration therapy intervention.
The formation of design in Korea and the consensus on it's necessity began in 1960's. Industrial design started to be realistically recognized and formed with the establishment of The Korea Industrial & Packaging Design Center. Later on, the industrialization in 1970s has contributed to industrial design campaigns. Now industrial design in Korea shows almost 50-year-long history respectively, and the nation's GNP soars over $ 10, 000. This study focuses on the promotion of effective advances in graphic design, which is said to be most essential in the industry. For this, graphic designer's view on their occupation and the world with their anticipation towards further development of graphic design has been discussed.
This study investigated and analyzed the exhibition, education, operation, and regional linkage program around a case of the National Museum of Ethnology in Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, England, and Japan to suggest necessary directions when constructing the national museum of ethnology of Korea. Interview by visiting the site and email interview were conducted for the investigation and suggestions according to the analysis are as follows. 1) It is necessary for the exhibition program to suggest a comparison exhibition by continent, and to be specific, occupation, style of living, representational culture, religion and view of the world, relation of power, and development culture are essential for the culture contents. 2) The education program needs to be constructed based on the age and level, and specific education program was suggested in this study. 3) Managing library, restaurant, cafe, and museum shop is essential for the operation program, additional service operation was suggested to cover additional financial areas, and professional research workers and professor manpower are necessary. 4) The regional linkage program needs to be composed by considering special qualities of the country and region, and needs to satisfy the expected effect of the local community and local residents.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to enhancing elementary school health teachers professional job performance by analyzing their job identity and job stress. Methods: The participants were 138 elementary school health teachers registered at the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, and the survey was conducted from the 22nd to 23rd of July, 2010. The collected data were analyzed by percentile, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. Results: The average percentiles of job identity and job stress were 70.6 and 64.0 respectively. Among the sub-factors of job identity, autonomy was highest as 73.5, and among the sub-factors of job stress, job demand was highest as 73.9. There were significant differences in the degree of job identity and job stress according to education status, the number of classes, job satisfaction, enthusiasm for work, and the image of nursing teachers expressed in a word. The regression model explained 21.2% of the variance of job identity. job stress explained 32.0% of the variance. Conclusion: It is important to develop various comprehensive programs for improving job identity and managing job stress. In addition, it is necessary to provide support systems including persons, promotion and rewards to school health teachers.
