The purpose of this study was to investigate satisfacation level of clinical practice and related variables to develop more effective learning program for students in the department of radiology. We surveyed 138 students who participated in the clinical practice program and they were university or college students in the area of Busan and Kyungnam. As a result, the satisfaction level of professional guidance were the highest and the satisfaction level of practice evaluation were the lowest. In the college students, the satisfaction level of the professional guidance were the highest and the satisfaction level of practice environment were the lowest. In the university students, the satisfaction level of the practice duration were the highest and the satisfaction level of practice evaluation were the lowest. The results of multiple regression analysis between the satisfaction level and the related variables indicated that the status of radiologist in the clinical practice are the major component in the college students and the status of radiologist in the academic duration and the clinical experience are the major component that contribute the satisfaction level in the university students.

The purpose of the study was to explore nurse image, major satisfaction, and professional self-concept and to identify the effects of these factors on professional self-concept of nursing students. A total of 132 nursing students who were attending A university were surveyed. Questionnaires were given to nursing students, and data were collected between 1 June 2017 and 30 June 2017. As a result, the factors, in terms of general characteristics, influencing professional self-concept were economic level (F=4.94, p=.009), reason for major selection (F=3.13, p=.011), and past grades (F=4.27, p=.016). The professional self-concept was correlated with nurse image (r=.22, p<.012) and major satisfaction (r=.20, p<.019). Regression analysis showed that nurse image and major satisfaction were statistically significant in predicting professional self-concept. Therefore, elevation of nursing students' professional self-concept will have a positive effect on nurse image and major satisfaction before and after clinical practice.

Ethical dilemmas were categorized into four areas : human life area, clients area, nursing practice area, and nurses-co-worker area. 354 nurses working in clinical settings were selected in Seoul and Kangwon area. Data were gathered from 26, June to 10, July, 1994 by structured guestionnaires. Descriptive statistics were employed to analyze the data. The results obtained from data were as follows : 1) In human life area mean score was 3.03. This area showed remarkabale individual differences between utilitarian and deontological position. 2) In clients area mean score was 3.94. It means that nurses tend to take a deontological position. 3) In nursing practice area mean score was 3.41. It means that nurses tend to take a slightly deontological position. 4) In nurses-co-worker area mean score was 3.88. It means that nurses tend to take a deontological position. To conclude, clinents area, nursing practice area, and nurses-co-worker area taken deontological position. Most nurse's primary concern was the 'welfare of the patients' which is to fundamental ethical professional practice. But nurses experienced more ethical dilemmas in human life area than others. The participants were 58 nurses with more than 3 years of clinical experience in both the neurosurgery intensive care unit and ward at a tertiary hospital in Gangwon province. Data collection was conducted from January to February of 2021. The performance and need for each workforce were analyzed with the mean and standard deviation, and the effectiveness of the difference between the performance and the need were analyzed with a paired t-test using SAS 9.4. Results: The recognition for work performance level was in order of direct nursing activities (3.20±.54), consultation and coordination (3.18±1.15), education (2.55±.85), administration (1.92±.86), and research (1.57±.89). The recognition for need level was in order of consultation and coordination (3.95±.83), education (3.91±.87), direct nursing practice (3.83±.55), research (3.49±.87), and administration (3.45±.54). Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Readiness for Practice Survey (K-RPS). Method: The English Readiness for Practice Survey was translated into Korean using the Translation, Review, Adjudication, Pretesting, and Documentation (TRAPD) method. Secondary data analysis was performed using the dataset from the New Nurse e-Cohort study (Panel 2020) in South Korea. This study used a nationally representative sample of 812 senior nursing students. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were also conducted. Convergent validity within the items and discriminant validity between factors were assessed to evaluate construct validity. Construct validity for hypothesis testing was evaluated using convergent and discriminant validity. Ordinary α was used to assess reliability. Results: The K-RPS comprises 20 items examining four factors: clinical problem solving, learning experience, professional responsibilities, and professional preparation. Although the convergent validity of the items was successfully verified, discriminant validity between the factors was not. The K-RPS construct validity was verified using a bi-factor model (CMIN/DF 2.20, RMSEA .06, TLI .97, CFI .97, and PGFI .59). The K-RPS was significantly correlated with self-esteem (r = .43, p < .001) and anxiety about clinical practicum (r = - .50, p < .001). Internal consistency was reliable based on an ordinary α of .88. Conclusion: The K-RPS is both valid and reliable and can be used as a standardized Korean version of the Readiness for Practice measurement tool.

The progression in the professional development was modified Pilhee Woo's framework(2010), and in the learning was developed by the researchers. The former included 6 elements and 36 aspects. The progression of each aspect was composed of five level criteria. The content validity is 96.4% and the reliability is .96. The latter was composed of another five level criteria. The content validity is 96.0% and the reliability is .95. Internet-online test and the questionnaire were administered to 203 secondary science teachers who were selected by convenience sampling. The mean level of the progression in the professional development and learning were 2.21 and 2.95. ANOVA, t-test and correlation analysis were conducted to compare differences by the characteristics of teachers. The level of the progression in the professional development and learning was significant difference according to almost all of teachers' characteristics. The level of the progression in the professional development was significantly correlated with the level of the progression in the learning.
