  • The purposes of this research are presenting a new business model by introducing USN/ZigBee and measuring productivity using BSC(Balanced scorecard), and becoming a cornerstone by presenting a prototype of ServiceScience which is getting more attention from Industrial Engineering and Management. The new business model consists of development of leak current monitoring sensor using USN/ZigBee and the adoption of RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance) using knowledge-based system at current distribution. Additionally, for the measurement of this new model's productivity, ESC is used, and the strategic map and measurement indices are produced. The main contributions of this paper are showing a concrete model of ServiceScience and demonstrating this model can be extended to similar areas like are gas, water etc.

정맥주입용(靜脈注入用) 산양산삼(山養山蔘) 증류약침(蒸溜藥鍼)의 급성(急性).아급성(亞急性) 독성실험(毒性實驗) 및 Sarcoma-180 항암효과(抗癌效果)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究) (The Study on Acute and Subacute Toxicity and Anti-Cancer Effects of cultivated wild ginseng Herbal acupuncture)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate acute and subacute toxicity and sarcoma-180 anti-cancer effects of herbal acupuncture with cultivated wild ginseng (distilled) in mice and rats. Method : Balb/c mice were injected intravenous with cultivated wild ginseng herbal acupuncture for $LD_{50}$ and acute toxicity test. Sprague-Dawley rats were injected intravenous with cultivated wild ginseng herbal acupuncture for subacute toxicity test. The cultivated wild ginseng herbal-acupuncture was injected at the tail vein of mice. Results : 1. In acute $LD_{50}$ toxicity test, there was no mortality thus unable to attain the value. 2. Examining the toxic response in the acute toxicity test, there was no sign of toxication. 3. In acute toxic test, running biochemical serum test couldn't yield any differences between the control and experiment groups. 4. In subacute toxicity test, there was no sign of toxication in the experimental groups and didn't show any changes in weight compared to the normal group. 5. In subacute toxicity test, biochemical serum test showed significant increase of Total albumin, Albumin, and Glucose in the experimental group I compared with the control group. Significant decrease of GOT, ALP, GPT, and Triglyceride were shown. In experiment group II, only Glucose showed significant increase compared with the control group. 6. Measuring survival rate for anti-cancer effects of Sarcoma-180 cancer cell line, all the experimental groups showed significant increase in survival rate. 7. Measuring NK cell activity rate, no significant difference was shown throughout the groups. 8. Measuring Interleukin-2 productivity rate, all the experimental groups didn't show significant difference. 9. For manifestation of cytokine mRNA, significant decrease of interleukin-10 was witnessed in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusion : According to the results, we can conclude cultivated wild ginseng herbal acupuncture caused negligible toxicity, and had anti-tumor effects in mice.

액체호닝에 의한 금형 자동 사상기계개발 및 가공 특성 (Polishing Characteristics and Development of Automatic Die Polishing Machine by Liquid Honing)

  • The automatic die polishing machine by liquid honing has been developed and experimented on the surface of machined die. The goal of development in the automatic die polishing machine by liquid honing is to increase the accuracy and the productivity in die polishing. To reach this goal, the polishing machine consists of the automatic measuring device for contour of die, the nozzle and pumping system to spray the powder mixed with liquid, and the 3-axis guides. Before polishing, the measuring device with a semiconductor laser scans the surface of mould to get the data of contour. The data store a PC and use to control the nozzle head to move above a couple of centimeters on the machined surface of die. The experimental parameters are the spraying time, the pressure, the size of abrasive grain and the mixing ratio between abrasive grain and liquid. The surface roughness is measured on the polished die which are SKDl 1 and Al7075 machined by NC. The surface roughness indicates the values of Rmax 0.5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for Al7075 and Rmax 1.4${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for SKDl 1. It reduces the polishing time significantly and reduces the monotonous work for labors. As the results, the liquid honing system is useful method to apply for the die polishing and the automatic die polishing machine using liquid honing shows that it's very effective processing ability.

소프트웨어 재사용가능성의 정략적 측도 (On the Quantitative Metrics of Software Reusability)

  • 소프트웨어 재사용은 생산성과 품질을 높일 수 있는 유망한 방법임에도 실제로는 잘 활용되지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제는 소프트웨어 품질에 대한 정략적인 측도가 부재한 이유일것이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 재사용 소프트웨어의 정량하는 기존의 소프 트웨어로부터 모듈을 추출한 후 이 모듈을 재사용 평가측도에 적용하여 재사용 여부를 측정하는 것이다. 먼저 재사용할 모듈을 측정하기 위해 품질의 인자를 범용성, 단순성, 유지보수성, 모듈성으로 구분하였으며, 인자별로 모듈을 분류 측정한 후 최정적으로 재사용 여부를 결정하게 된다. 제안한 측도의 장점은 재사용하고자 하는 모듈을 정량 적으로 측정하므로 부적절한 모듈의 재사용을 조기에 정확히 발견할 수 있다.

  • Reverse Engineering is a procedure where the results of engineering decisions in manufacturing is feedback to the design phase and the knowledge-base is generated from the process know-how to reduce the errors. Since it used to take lots of time and efforts to finalize the machining of dies out of the original CAD design especially for die spotting and try-outs, reverse engineering is important to improve the productivity and quality of the die manufacturing process. In this regard, we developed system to support reverse engineering in machining of stamping dies for auto-body production. They automatically generate the relevant MC programs for a CMM simply with the input of measuring points in CAD environments, and show the CAD model and the results of inspection simultaneously for the ease of comparison. They also help reduce the overall clearance between the lower and upper dies. Applying these systems to the machining process of stamping dies, we could improve the reliability of measuring and get the optimal compensation distance between the two dies. We also analyzed the expected benefits of the system in terms of savings in time and costs.

자료포락분석 기법을 이용한 우리나라 철도수송의 효율성 측정 (Measuring the Efficiency in Korean Railway Transport using Data Envelopment Analysis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 철도수송의 효율성을 측정하는 것이다. 우리나라 철도수송의 효율성에 관한 기존 연구들은 2004년의 철도산업 구조개혁 이전에 수행되었지만, 본 연구는 이의 영향을 반영하는 최신의 자료까지 포함하여 효율성을 측정하였다. 측정기법은 다른 국가 운영회사들과 비교하여 상대적인 효율성 수치를 산출해주는 자료 포락분석(DEA) 기법을 이용하였다. 분석대상은 2000년${\sim}$2006년 동안 22개 국가 철도운영회사가 제공한 철도수송 서비스이다. 분석 결과 우리나라 철도수송은 타 국가와 비교하여 그동안 효율적으로 운영되고 있고, 2004년 이후 생산성이 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

이미지 프로세싱을 활용한 공구의 마모 측정법 연구 (A Study of Tool Wear Measurement Using Image Processing)

  • Tool wear is considered an important issue in manufacturing and engineering, as worn tools can negatively impact productivity and product quality. Given that the wear status of tools plays a decisive role in the production process, measuring tool wear is a key task. Consequently, there is significant attention in manufacturing fields on the precise measurement of tool wear. Current domestic methods for measuring wear are limited in terms of speed and efficiency, with traditional methods being time-consuming and reliant on subjective evaluation. To address these issues, we developed a measurement module implementing the DeepContour algorithm, which uses image processing technology for rapid measurement and evaluation of tool wear. This algorithm accurately extracts the tool's outline, assesses its condition, determines the degree of wear, and proves more efficient than existing, subjective, and time-consuming methods. The main objective of this paper is to design and apply in practice an algorithm and measurement module that can measure and evaluate tool wear using image processing technology. It focuses on determining the degree of wear by extracting the tool's outline, assessing its condition, and presenting the measured value to the operator.

청폐탕(淸肺湯)의 실험적 폐전이암에 대한 항암 및 면역효과에 관한 연구 (Anticancer and Immune Effects of Chungpae-tang on the Metastasis of Lung Cancer Cell)

  • Chungpae-tang is suggested to have the antitumor activity on lung cancer. This study was peformed to investigate apoptotic effect in vitro and antitumor effect and immune response after injection of B16-F10 melanoma cells and Chungpae-tang into a tail vein of C57BL/6 mice and administratition of Chungpae-tang in A549 human lung cancer cell line in vivo, respectively. Experimental studies were obtained by measuring the median survival time and cytokine expression through RT-PCR, and ELISA assay. The results were summarized as follows: 5 mg/ml of Chungpae-tang causing DNA fragmentation, caspase-3 enzyme activation, PARP fragmentation, and cytochrome c release, suggested that Chungpae-tang has in vitro apoptotic effect in A549 human lung cancer cell line in the apoptosis-induced experiment. The median survival time of the Chungpae-tang treated group was 21 days and that of control group was 22 days, suggesting that the median survival time between the Chungpae-tang treated group and the control group was not significant. Cytokine expression between the Chungpae-fang treated group and the control group was noticeable, but was not significant in the RT-PCR. In the ELISA assay, IL-2 productivity in the Chungpae-tang treated group was to increase more than that in the normal group (p<0.05) and was no significant between the Chungpae-tang treated group and the control group. $INF-\gamma$ productivity of the control group decreased more than that of the normal group (p<0.05) and that of the Chungpae-tang-treated group increased more than that of the control group (p<0.05). IL-12 productivity of the control group increased more than that of the normal group (p<0.05) and that of the Chungpae-tang-treated group decreased more than that of the control group (p<0.05) and the normal group. IL-4 productivity of the Chungpae-tang-treated group increased more than that of the normal group and the control group (p<0.05). IL-10 productivity of the Chungpae-tang-treated group increased more than that of the normal group and the control group (p<0.05). Accordingly the results show Chungpae-tang could induce apoptosis in A549 human lung cancer cell line and bring to antitumor effect and immune response against injection of B16-F10 melanoma cells into a tail vein of C57BL/6 mice but it needs more research on the precise mechanism of such effects.

비산먼지 저감기능을 구비한 슬러지 흡입식 도로절단기의 작업생산성 분석 (Work Productivity Analysis of Sludge Suction Type Pavement Cutter Equipped with Scattered Dust Reduction Function)

  • 본 연구는 국내에서 주로 사용되는 습식 도로절단기와 비산먼지 저감을 위해 개발된 슬러지 흡입식 도로절단기(이하 자동식 도로절단기)의 작업생산성을 비교 분석하여 자동식 도로절단기의 성능 및 활용성을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 국내에서 주로 사용되는 습식 수동식 도로절단기와 자동식 도로절단기의 개발 현황을 조사하고, 도로 절단 작업을 세부적으로 분석하였다. 또한, 동일한 조건의 테스트베드에 두 장비를 적용하여 깊이별 절단 시간을 측정하여, 표준절단 성능을 도출하였다. 하지만 테스트베드에서 측정된 데이터는 실제 도로절단 현장의 다양한 변수를 반영하지 못한다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현장 조사를 통해 데이터를 수집하여 절단 거리와 시간 사이의 상관성을 분석한 후, 단순회귀분석을 통해 도로절단기 생산성 산정모델을 제시하였다. 회귀식에서 도출된 값을 테스트베드에서 도출한 표준절단 성능과 비교 분석한 결과, 회귀분석식을 통해 도출한 절단 성능은 표준절단 성능과 유사한 경향을 보였다. 마지막으로, 정량적으로 측정하기는 어려우나 생산성에 영향을 주는 세가지 세부작업에 대해 정성적으로 비교 분석하여 개발된 자동식 도로절단기의 활용성을 검증하였다.

신축건물에서 안구건조증이 작업생산성과 일상활동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Dry Eye Symptoms on Work Productivity and General Activity in Newly Building)

  • 목적: 신축건물 재실자들의 안구건조증을 조사하고, 안구건조증이 작업생산성 및 일상적인 활동에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 방법: 신축한지 3개월이 지난 건물에서 일 평균 8시간 이상을 근무하는 사무직 근로자 33명을 대상으로 하였다. 실내공기질은 알데하이드류와 온습도를 측정하여 평가하였다. 안구건조증은 Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)를 이용하여 정상, 경도, 중등도 및 중증으로 분류하였고, 라식수술, 눈 화장, 일일 컴퓨터와 스마트폰 사용시간, 그리고 일일 평균 근무시간을 조사하였다. 작업생산성과 일상활동 관련 설문은 Work Limitation Productivity 설문을 사용하여 손실정도를 10점 척도로 체크하였다. 결과: 사무실의 폼알데하이드 농도는 $42.42{\pm}6.30{\mu}g/m^3$ 이었고, 온습도는 각각 $26.2{\pm}0.7^{\circ}C$$40{\pm}1%$ 였다. 안구건조증은 정상, 경도, 중등도 및 중증이 각각 15.2%, 18.2%, 18.2%, 48.5%였다. 안구건조증의 심한 정도와 작업생산성 및 일상적인 활동의 손실 정도는 각각 0.599와 0.655의 높은 상관성을 보였다(p<0.001). 안구건조증이 중증인 경우는 정상에 비해 유의하게 높은 작업생산성 손실과 일상활동 저해를 나타냈다(p<0.001). 안구건조증이 심한 경우는 정상에 비해 작업생산성 손실과 일상활동 저해가 3점 이상일 확률이 각각 3.26배(p=0.032)와 2.25배(p=0.045) 높았다. 결론: 신축건물 사무직 근로자들의 안구건조증은 작업생산성과 일상적인 활동에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
