  • Up to the present, the evaluation measures in the production and inventory management have been studied under the pre-condition that the costs for major factors(e.g,. cost of carrying inventory, cost of demand shortage) are given easily, although in practice, it is difficult. The case in which multiple participants have a different viewpoints in production and inventory management has not been studied, in spite of its frequent occurrence. This study suggests a production and inventory model with multiple objectives corresponding to major factors and the related interactive algorithm based on the preference structures of participants. The problem can be solved through a weighting vector generated by an interaction with participants. The concept of equity is also used in order to guarantee the reasonable distribution of group utility in determining the individual relative weights of participants. This study includes the reality of the model and the decision process in the production and inventory management.

  • The composite PC rahmen structure, called Green Frame, allows the main structural members such as PC column and beam to be produced on the site, resulting in a reduction of PC member transportation cost and the margin of PC plant (operation cost and profit), making it more economic than the bearing wall structure. To apply the Green Frame to practice, not only installation but also insitu-production process should be considered. Therefore, this study analyse the influence factors on insitu-production and installation schedule of composite precast concrete members. The results shall be used as basic criteria on the planning of insitu-production and installation of Green Frame.

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the industrial worker's knowledge, attitude, and practice about occupational health and to provide the basic data for the development of industrial health services. The study was undertaken from January 15 to January 30, 1993. 549 industrial workers at the Industrial Complex located in Chonbuk Province were participated in this study. The results were as follows; 1. The Knowledge, Attitude and Practice leveles of Workers about Occupational Health. The levels were measured by five point scale. The mean score of knowledge was 2. 59 point out of 4. The mean score of attitude was 2.37 point out of 4. The mean score of practice was 2. 38 point out of 4. 2. The analysis of their knowledge" attitude, and practice about general characteristics. 1) There was significant difference among different age groups. $(P{\leqq}0.0001)$ -. The group of age 25-29 was the highest value in knowledge and attitude. -. The group of age over 50 was highest value in practice. 2) There was significant difference between sexual groups in all items. -. Male workers were higher than Female workers in all items. (P=0.0000) 3) There was significant difference according to the marital status in all items. -. Married workers were higher than Single workers in all items. (P = 0.0000) 4) There was significant difference among different groups of educational level in attitude and practice. • The purpose of this thesis is to develop a micro-computer application for GT/MRP (group technology/material requirement planning) integrated system for efficient management of production scheduling. GT and MRP system have been found to have several drawbacks in practice. By GT and MRP system, however, it should be able to construct a GT/MRP integrated system that possesses the advantages of both concepts while alleviating their individual limitations.

  • Consumers have been requiring more higher level of food and agricultural products safety. The system of Good Agricultural Practice(GAP) has been spreaded over the world. Korea also introduced the GAP system in agricultural industry. GAP is related to the production side in the whole traceability system. The establishment of GAP system is a prerequisite to secure food safety. This study reviewed the concept of GAP and necessities and backgrounds of introducing the GAP system. Also, this study analyzed the problems which have been appeared in the GAP program and proposed the policy strategies and directions for the Korean GAP system. So issues for the GAP system are as follows; computerizing of traceability system, forming the cooperative works among the related governmental departments, establishing a certification system to relate with crop features, efficient management, ensuring distribution channel and the research for estimating GAP consumer surplus is need to analyze GAP program more efficient. In addition, It is necessary to keep the records of the data to analyze the GAP program more accurately.

  • Growth of pigs is influenced by many factors. To assist pig producers in the evaluation of alternative feeding and management strategies growth models have been developed. In the Netherlands the Technical Model Pigfeeding (TMV) is developed. This model predicts the influence of feed intake, feed composition, genotype, sex and climate on growth, body composition, gross margin and mineral excretion of healthy growing/finishing pigs. The purpose of TMV is to support information services, feed companies, researchers and students. In addition to providing accurate predictions, a model should also be user-friendly and wishes of the user should be taken into account to stimulate application of the model in practice. In this paper, the theoretical background of TMV and a methodology to stimulate application of models in practice will be described.

  • This study investigates the effects of three different types of instruction, namely form-based, comprehension-based, and production-based on the development of Korean university students' (n=137) comprehension and production of English relative clauses (RCs). The extent of improvements was analyzed by administering pre-and post-tests consisting of two comprehension tests (selecting the right form of RCs and the right picture descriptions) and one production test (combining two sentences). Findings of this study suggest that all three types of instruction increased participants' comprehension and productions of RCs. However, there appeared differential effects by the instruction type. It was found production-based instruction was most effective in promoting comprehension, followed by comprehension-based instruction. Comprehension-based instruction worked best with the development of production, suggesting that the effects of comprehension training did not only work for increasing comprehension skills, but also transfer to production skills. The type or level of tasks employed for each instruction appeared to play an important role in causing such results. Form-based instruction displayed the lowest improvements in both comprehension and production of RCs. A sentence-combination task employed for form-based instruction appear to result in mere explicit rule explanations without chances to notice rules in context or use their knowledge in practice.

  • As Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) became a pandemic, most nursing departments in Korea implemented online non-face-to-face practices rather than the existing practice method. This study was a qualitative study that analyzed the reflection diaries written by participants to understand what they experienced in the online non-face-to-face adult nursing practice process. The online non-face-to-face adult nursing practice was 90 hours for two credits and nine hours per day for a total of 10 days. This online practice consisted of computer-based simulation practice, computer-based nursing skills practice, video and educational material production, real-time online quiz, online lecture video, and discussion. As a result of analyzing the reflection diary, six categories, 13 subcategories, and 33 codes were derived. The six categories were 'Experience of various situations', 'Experience of new study', 'Fulfillment for the clinical practice', 'Building relations with professors', 'Fear of being a pre-nurse', and 'Ambivalence for the non-face-to-face practice'. These results are significant in that in the post-corona era, adult nursing practice was conducted as a non-face-to-face practice rather than a clinical practice institution, and various educational methods were operated. This study is expected to provide important basic data for the development and operation of non-face-to-face adult nursing practice.

  • To provide the basic data essential for developing varieties of broad-leaved tree, the study investigated the utmost growth requirement for the growth characteristic and biomass production in accordance with planting density of Styrax obassia. The planting density of seedling can be a significant factor in contributing growth of seedling for tree growing in general. While growth of tree according to $1m^2$ planting density of Styrax obassia showed an excellent growth in tree height and the root collar diameter from $49no./m^2$, those low planting density showed decreased tendency with tree height growth while increasing the root collar diameter growth. As similar to the growth characteristic, the biomass production showed significant and statistic difference in $49no./m^2$, showing high volume of biomass production which is $3.12{\pm}0.80g$ compare to other processing section and high figure with T/R ratio which is 1.59. The special trait of photosynthetic also showed relatively high photosynthetic rate in $49no./m^2\;and\;64no./m^2$ of Styrax obassia and as the density increase, photosynthetic efficiency decreased. The plant showed stable and physiological planting pattern, displaying the best photosynthetic rate, which was the final metabolism through reserving proper space in the growth and development environment condition. This obstacle of required space essential for growth substantially deteriorated planting and ultimately, it demonstrated lower tendency of photosynthetic rate, which is the highest level of metabolism.
