주관적 연령이 의류점포의 서비스품질 지각, 만족 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 실버소비자들의 라이프스타일 유형을 중심으로 - (Effects of Cognitive Age on Perceived Service Quality, Satisfaction, and Repurchase Intentions across the Elderly's Lifestyle Types in Apparel Stores)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of cognitive age on service quality, consumer satisfaction, and repurchase intentions across the elderly's lifestyle types in the apparel store. Data were obtained from 853 women in the 50's and 60's living in Busan, and were analyzed by factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, and path analysis using SPSS WIN 12.0 and LISREL 8.53. The results showed that the lifestyle of elderly consumers was classified into three factors, such as Active self-fidelitist, Economy family-oriented, and Passive-stagnant. Service qualities perceived by the elderly in apparel stores were composed of Personal Service, Facilities Service, Product Service, and Policy Service. Generally, the younger cognized their ages most of the elderly were the more importantly perceived store service quality, the greater satisfied with apparel store services, and the more intended to repurchase apparels at a store. However, economic family-oriented elderlys were the younger cognized their ages, the less satisfied with the apparel service. Additionally, personal and policy services of the apparel store were important variables for elderlys' satisfaction with store services. The findings provide potential explanations and managerial implications for the elderly market.

  • Milk and dairy products are the high value foods for the elderly population. In particular, fermented milk is the best source of calcium for people in the specific age group of over 79 years. It provides a good source of protein. Regular exercise and active lifestyle are recommended to slow down the muscle loss. However, exercising without proper nutrient intake is simply not sufficient at this age. Milk and dairy products provide the iron and protein content required for effective exercise-assisted growth. Milk nutrients have the advantage of being produced in various food forms, such as liquid, semi-solid, and powder types. Fat-soluble vitamins such as retinol and vitamin K can be encapsulated using various technologies for milk and dairy products. Using the encapsulation method, spray drying and fluidized-bed coating have been used for adding the micro-nutrients to the food. Microencapsulation technology is being applied in case of the fermented dairy products too. In particular, various wall materials are being developed to enhance the viability of probiotics. In the near future, advanced high-efficiency technologies that can effectively nourish the dairy products with nutrients will be developed to produce targeted high-nutrition value food for the elderly.

서비스품질과 쇼핑가치가 소비자 만족 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 50, 60대 여성 소비자를 중심으로 - (Impacts of Service Quality and Shopping Value on Consumers' Satisfaction for Women in their 50's and 60's)

  • The purposes of this study were, 1) to examine the conceptual structure of shopping value and service quality as perceived by women in their 50's and 60's, and 2) to investigate the effects of shopping value and service quality on consumer satisfaction of these women. The results mal provide insights related to the silver market in South Korea. Data were obtained for 286 women in their 50's and 60's living in metropolitan areas in South Korea, and analyzed using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and regression. The results showed that service quality was composed of Facilities Service, Product Service, Salespersons' Service and Policy Service. Shopping values perceived by elderly consumers consisted of two factors: Hedonic Shopping Value, and Utility Shopping Value. Elderly consumers perceived Hedonic Value by Salespersons' Service and Utility Value by Policy Service. Salespersons' Service of a store was the most important variable for elderly consumers' satisfaction. The finding suggest that a store's Salespersons' Service is important in predicting elderlv corlsumers' purchase behavior, and they give insight into the development of strategies to be utilized in promotion planning. Implications and drawn for the information useful to consumer behavior researchers and retailers of the silver market.

실버패션마켓의 의복충동구매행동 관련 변수에 관한 연구 (Related Veriables of Impulse Buying Behavior in Silver Fashion Market)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationships among shopping orientation, information source, service duality, and impulse buying behavior of the elderly women, which nay provide insights related to silver fashion market in Korea. Data were obtained from 50's and 60's women living in Busan(N=285), and analyzed Using by factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha and t-test. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Comported to unimpulse buying group, impulse buying group was more likely to be influenced by hedonics shopping orientation, economic shopping orientation, personal shopping orientation, and convenient shopping orientation. 2. for information source, impulse buying group seemed more to use various information sources than unimpulse buying group, such as advertising of newspaper, magazin or TV, experience, salespersons' opinions. 3. For perceived service quality, impulse buying group was more likely to be effected by events of store, product advertisement, and opening/closing time of store. But demographic characteristics doesn't significant differences between impulse-group and unimpulse-buying group of elderly women. This study suggests some implications and strategies for silver fashion market.

독거노인의 자아존중감과 우울 (Self-Esteem and Depression of the Elderly People Living Alone)

  • 본 연구는 독거노인의 자아존중감 및 우울과 관련된 변인들을 탐색하고 그 변인들간의 관계를 밝혀내는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 참여자는 서울에 거주하고 있는 평균 연령 76.17(SD=7.60)세인 676명의 남녀 노인들이었으며, 그들 중에 독거노인은 378명이었다. 자아존중감 척도(Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale), 자기평가 우울척도(Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale), 생활활동 수행 목록(The Index of Activities of Daily Living), 및 사회적 지원 목록(Social Support Index)을 참여자에게 주었다. 주요 통계분석은 2(성별) × 2(거주형태) 이원공변량분석과 상관분석, 그리고 회귀분석이었다. 분석 결과, 독거노인은 동거노인에 비해 자신의 건강이 좋지 못하다고 평가했고 경제 수준이 낮았으며 사회적 지원을 받지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 남성 노인들은 여성 노인들보다 자녀가 있으면서도 혼자 사는 경향이 있고 사회적 지원은 덜 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 남녀 독거노인 사이에는 독거 이유에도 차이가 있었다. 여성 독거노인의 자아존중감 수준이 남성 독거노인의 자아존중감 수준보다 낮았으며, 독거노인이 동거노인보다 더 우울해하고 있었다. 자아존중감과 우울에는 성별과 거주형태의 유의한 상호작용이 존재해 독거노인의 경우에서만 자아존중감의 유의한 성차가 있고, 여성에서만 거주형태별로 우울 수준에 차이가 있었다. 회귀분석 결과, 신체기능 수준과 건강지각이 독거노인의 자아존중감을 예언할 수 있는 변인으로 나타났고, 신체기능 수준과 건강지각, 그리고 사회적 지원이 독거노인의 우울을 예언할 수 있는 유의한 변인으로 밝혀졌다. 이런 결과는 노인의 자아존중감과 우울에 대한 신체기능 수준과 건강지각, 그리고 사회적 지원의 역할을 재확증하는 것이고 한국 독거노인의 삶의 질에는 성이 결정적인 변인이라는 것을 밝혀낸 것이다.

중국 고령소비자의 HMR 제품의 구매행태 및 IPA 분석 (Purchase Behavior and IPA of HMR Products in China Elderly Consumers)

  • This study surveyed Chinese elderly consumers to determine their purchasing behavior, importance, and satisfaction with HMR products in China. Three hundred and seventy people were surveyed: 184 males and 186 females aged 55 to 70 years. Two hundred and sixty-seven (72.25%) of the surveyed consumers had an average monthly income of 6,000 yuan or less, and 313 (84.9%) responded that they spend 3000 yuan or less on groceries per month. Three hundred and forty-eight (94.1%) showed a high interest in health management. Regarding the frequency of purchasing HMR products, most responded that they purchased HMR products more than once or twice a week, with a single purchase of 100 yuan or less for each purchase. The respondents preferred 2 or 3 serving packagings in a refrigerated form. For all forms of products, those made as in-house meals, outdoor meals, as a snack or night snack, for serving guests, for trips, camping, and on-the-go products, the participants mostly responded that they frequently purchased the product. When purchasing HMR products, the importance of hygiene, convenience in purchase accessibility, the freshness of ingredients, and an indication of the nutritional content were considered as a high rank. After purchase, the satisfaction of SNS and mobile application advertisements and promotions, amount per serving, take out convenience, and new menu were considered low-rank. The IPA results showed that marking the origin of the ingredients and new menu are areas needing improvement. The study results may be used as base data for developing elderly friendly HMR products and establishing its marketing strategies.

  • In this study we carry out usability evaluation for adjustable electric beds for home care that are used the most by the elderly, and examines dissatisfaction of users. In this sense, we performed an interview with stakeholders including bed users, developers and suppliers to develop usability evaluation contents. In addition, we carried out feasibility and reliability study over evaluation form through usability assessment, and developed usability evaluation indicator.

소비 트렌드에 따른 가정간편식 개발 전략 (A study on the development strategy of home meal replacement in relation to the consumption trends)

  • Due to the increasing demand for convenience and simplicity, Home Meal Replacement (HMR) has become a key trend in the food service industry. This study researched the current consumer trend and analyzed the national and international HMR product trend, aiming to find useful insights for the field. Results showed that in order to expand the HMR market demand, it is possible to consider diversifying the product category by making customized premium products, such as products for the elderly, infants, patients, and sports players, or products with enhanced nutritional fortification. From the industrial aspect, centralization through Central Kitchen (CK) and implementation of the scientific and advanced ISO and HACCP system are necessary. Lastly, to develop high value-added HMR products, it is deemed essential to utilize the so-called 'food tech', the technology which integrates core technologies of the fourth industrial revolution into the food industry.

사용자 로그 분석에 기반한 노인 돌봄 솔루션 구축 전략: 효돌 제품의 사례를 중심으로 (Implementation Strategy for the Elderly Care Solution Based on Usage Log Analysis: Focusing on the Case of Hyodol Product)

  • 고령화 현상이 가속화되고, 취약계층 노인과 관련된 다양한 사회문제가 제기됨에 따라 노인세대의 건강과 안전을 보호하기 위한 효과적인 노인 돌봄 솔루션의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 최근에는 노인 돌봄의 수단으로 첨단화된 ICT 기술을 탑재한 스마트 토이를 활용하고자 하는 사례가 늘고 있다. 특히 스마트 토이를 통해 기록되는 노인 행태에 대한 로그 데이터는 노인 돌봄 관련 정책 수립, 노인 돌봄 서비스 컨셉 기획 및 개발과 같은 분야에 정량적이고 객관적인 설명지표로써 활용 가치가 높을 것으로 전망된다. 그러나 현재까지 노인 돌봄 스마트 토이와 관련된 연구 중 스마트 토이를 통해 기록된 사용자 행동 로그에 주목하여 이를 의사결정에 활용하고자 하는 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 기존에 충분히 논의되지 않았던 스마트 토이 사용자 행동 로그 데이터에 대한 분석을 중심으로, 노인 돌봄 솔루션의 사용자 경험 증진을 위한 효과적인 인사이트를 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로 사용자 프로파일링 기반 행태 분석과 사용 행태에 따른 삶의 질 변화 메커니즘 도출을 단계적으로 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 5개의 노인 생활관리 요인으로부터 노인집단 유형을 분류할 수 있는 2개의 중요한 차원을 도출하였으며, 도출한 차원에 근거하여 전체 노인 사용자를 3개의 유형으로 분류하고 유형별 스마트 토이 사용 행태 차이를 프로파일링 분석을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 이후 스마트 토이 사용 행태에 따른 삶의 질 변화 메커니즘을 도출하기 위한 단계적 회귀분석을 수행하였으며, 스마트 토이와의 상호작용, 스마트 토이의 콘텐츠 사용, 스마트 토이가 관찰한 노인의 가정 내 활동 정도가 노인의 우울감 개선과 생활패턴 개선에 미치는 영향 및 이를 중재하는 경로로써 스마트 토이에 대한 사용자의 성능평가와 만족감의 역할을 밝혀내었다.
