The study integrates the vicarious touch and the dual coding theory to analyze the Smartphone purchase behavior of Generation Z. Research design, data and methodology: The study collected data from 349 respondents who were viewers of YouTube unboxing videos. A structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale was employed as a survey instrument. Convenience sampling technique was utilized to select the samples. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results: Results reveal that vicarious touch and verbal description have a statistically significant positive effect on Generation Z's purchase intention of Smartphone. Moreover, purchase intention positively affects Generation Z's actual purchase behavior of Smartphone. However, the visual images did not significantly affect purchase intention. Conclusions: The study offers significant theoretical and practical implications. The study adds new knowledge to the extant literary field by highlighting the impact of digital product presentation in the form of Unboxing videos on purchase intention for technology products. Moreover, the study suggests content sponsorship and advertising opportunities for marketers in collaboration with the TechTubers on YouTube unboxing video platform.

  • A blog has significant effect as a new online medium and as a tool to share information with its powerful networking function. Blogs are established based on personal experience and their impact is stronger than conventional media in terms of informativeness, credibility and interactivity. Such characteristics of blogs lead to blog commitment (a phenomenon that has behavioral consequences) that eventually influences consumer fashion purchase behavior. The more a consumer is interested in fashion and seeks diverse information from a wide range of media, the more personally committed they become to certain blogs; in addition, they will also post the results of their fashion product purchases on their blog to further create and reproduce information. This research discovers how blog commitment affects fashion product purchase behavior and information reproduction activity among consumers as well as explores the impact of blog characteristics and information variety seeking by individual consumers on these factors. The data was collected from 428 adults who purchased a fashion product based on information they found on a blog. The results are as follows. First, blog characteristics are composed of accessibility, interactivity, credibility of the information, and informativeness. Second, in terms of the blog commitment, informativeness, credibility, and consumer information diversification (respectively), turned out to have positive effects; in addition, accessibility and credibility had positive effects for corporate blogs. The comparison between private and corporate blogs showed that consumers tend to be more committed to private blogs. Third, in terms of the brand attitude, private/corporate blog commitment, credibility, and consumer information diversification (respectively) had a positive influence. Fourth, blog characteristics and consumer information diversification led consumers (through private/corporate blog commitment) to form a favorable attitude towards the brand and purchase products that resulted in information reproduction of the purchased product.

  • An understanding of consumers' evaluative processes and the consumer variables that influence cross-cultural evaluations of foreign products is essential to effectively penetrate international markets. This study compared consumers in two developing countries, Korea and Mexico, regarding their product evaluations and purchase intentions for US Levi's jeans. Both Korean and Mexican consumers are generally quality and price conscious. Korean consumers appeared to be more value-conscious than Mexican consumers. Mexican consumers exhibited high level of brand and prestige conscious behavior. Findings in this study support that culture bound consumer characteristics vary from country to country resulting in differences in perception of quality, value and purchase intentions for a particular product. The perception of product quality differs from perception of value and subsequent willingness to buy. For a comprehensive understanding of consumer purchase behavior, the impact of value-conscious attitude on percetion of quality and on purchase intentions should be examined.

  • The study aims to investigate the antecedents affecting purchase intention in the category of green skincare products. Many studies have used the theory of planned behavior to investigate factors affecting intention to purchase products in general. This paper not only retests the influences of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control on the intention to buy eco-friendly skincare products but also suggests a new antecedent - environment knowledge of purchase intention. More importantly, this study is the first to propose the moderating effect of country of origin and product knowledge on the relationship between attitude and purchase intention. This study employs a sample of 350 female customers from 18 to 39 years old in Ho Chi Minh City. The research applies the Multiple Linear Regression to analyze the proposed hypotheses in the conceptual framework and results in significant outcomes. The result shows that attitude is the most influential factor then, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and environmental knowledge. Most importantly, the findings of this study suggest that product knowledge is found to moderate the effect of attitude on purchase intention. The finding of moderating effect is a new contribution to the literature and future research can be carried out to validate this result.

  • The purposes of this study are to provide comprehensive reviews on multichannel consumer behaviors published in peer-reviewed academic journals from 2005 to 2014, to develop a conceptual framework that demonstrates multichannel determinants such as psychographics, demographics, social influences, and situational factors on consumers' search and purchase behavior based on customers' profits or costs judgment, and to provide possible direction for future research in multichannel consumer behavior. Three steps were taken in the process of analyzing consumers' channel determinants presented in the 37 studies, and 12 most frequently used factors that appear in the studies were extracted. These factors include convenience, service, trust/risk, saving money, product knowledge, experience, efficacy/usefulness, involvement, shopping environment/situation factors, demographics, product types, and social influence. With 12 determinants of multichannel consumers' search and purchase behavior, a conceptual framework was proposed based on expectancy theory. The directions for future research were also discussed.

  • This work tries to empirically validate the effect of influencers' product-usage videos upon brand attitude and purchase intention of consumers. More specifically, we choose 3 attributes of product-usage videos of influencers such as expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness from our literature review. We collect 200 survey questionnaires in 2019 using Google survey forms from subjects who have watched influencers' usage videos of fashion items. Our results suggest that expertise and trustworthiness of influencers' videos positively affect brand attitude of consumers, which in turn positively influence their purchase intention. However, we have not found significant effect of attractiveness of the videos upon brand attitude. We also confirm that brand attitude positively affect purchase intention as proposed in the literature. The practical implications of this work is that firms should focus and strengthen expertise and trustworthiness of videos rather than attractiveness in order to enhance purchase intention of consumers and eventually lead to their purchase behavior.

  • This study explored the determinant variables influence of Chinese consumers' purchase intention towards products featured in Korean TV dramas vis-$\grave{a}$-vis product placement (PPL). We invited 248 Chinese adult consumers who had watched Korean TV dramas in last twelve months to participate in this survey. Data analyses were conducted by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ reliability test, confirmatory factor analysis, t -test, analysis of variance and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS ver. 21.0 and AMOS ver. 21.0. We chose PPL effects, product quality perceptions, and product trust as main independent variables. The empirical analysis results demonstrate that female (versus male) and frequency of (or longer time) watching dramas resulted in higher perceived consumer PPL effects, product quality, trust and purchase intention. The positive effects of the product quality and product trust on purchase intentions were confirmed. There are additional mediation effects of product quality perceptions and trust on the relationship between consumer demographic characteristics (gender), TV drama watching conditions (frequency and time) and purchase intention. This research can help Korean corporations produce effective advertising by indicating how PPL affects Chinese consumer consumption behavior. The results are useful for the Chinese government and consumer organizations to improve the domestic consumption environment by developing effective TV drama PPL policies.
