China is the largest producer and consumer of mushrooms, and the development of China's mushroom industry poses a serious threat to Korea, which has similar mushroom production and consumption tendencies. China's mushroom industry produced only 50,000 tons around 1985 when statistical data began to be published, but by 2020, it has developed into an industry with annual production exceeding 40 million tons. The rapid development of the mushroom industry in China is due to high profitability, rapid funds turnover, rapid return on investment, active support from local governments, increased preference and consumption of healthy foods due to increased national income, expansion of overseas exports, and introduction of automated facility cultivation. Recently, there is a high possibility that mushroom production through automated facility cultivation in China will be excessive, so if measures are not taken, there is a high possibility that it will encroach on the Korean mushroom market. Therefore, in order to protect domestic mushroom farmers and industries, it is necessary to accurately identify and analyze the current status of China's mushroom industry.

As the used trading market grows centered on online platforms, it is evolving from practical consumption to pursuing various forms of consumption value. Consumers purchase rare products, enjoy the transaction itself with consumers with the same preference, and investment or eco-friendly value consumption is also increasing. In this regard, the transaction of the second-hand transaction app service must have sincerity in order to respond to various consumption values. In addition, it is necessary to study what components the second-hand trading app service should aim for to secure authenticity and how the usefulness and ease of second-hand trading apps affect the relationship. The research used a questionnaire method to test hypotheses and surveyed 215 consumers in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who had purchased used clothing online within a year. Among them, 200 responses, excluding outliers, were statistically analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 as confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation models. This study aims to determine the effect of the authenticity of the online used trading app service on the satisfaction of the used trading app service. To this end, based on the previous research results, the following research hypotheses were established and verified statistically. First, the authenticity of the online used trading app service will significantly impact the satisfaction of the used trading app service. Second, the usefulness of the used trading app service will have a moderating effect on the effect of the authenticity of the used trading app service on the satisfaction of the used trading app service. Third, the ease of the used trading app service will have a moderating effect on the authenticity of the used trading app service on the satisfaction of the used trading app service. As a result of the study, the authenticity of the used trading app service significantly affected the satisfaction of the used trading app service. With the growing preference among Chinese consumers for purchasing beauty products through social media networks (SNS), influencer marketing has recently emerged as a crucial strategy for maximizing word-of-mouth effects. This study aims to ascertain the impact of SNS beauty influencers' characteristics on trustworthiness and consumers' intentions to engage in word-of-mouth promotion. Furthermore, the study seeks to explore the moderating role of consumer involvement in the relationship between SNS beauty influencer characteristics and the trust consumers place in them. As part of an empirical analysis, an online survey was administered to 259 Chinese female consumers who had previously purchased beauty products through influencers on SNS. The data gathered were scrutinized by conducting multiple and hierarchical regression analysis to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicated that the attributes of "expertise,"' "intimacy," and "homogeneity" in SNS beauty influencers significantly affect influencer trust, whereas "charm" does not have a significant impact. Moreover, consumer involvement was found to moderate the relationship between SNS beauty influencer characteristics (expertise, intimacy, charm, and homogeneity) and influencer trust. Additionally, influencer trust positively influenced the intention to engage in word-of-mouth activities. These findings signify that leveraging influencers possessing qualities such as expertise, intimacy, and homogeneity can help enhance product exposure, popularity, and sales of the beauty industry. This study contributes valuable insights into the strategic utilization of influencer characteristics in the beauty industry and digital marketing, highlighting their pivotalrole in consumer engagement and the success of marketing strategies.
This research aimed to investigate the changes in physicochemical properties and sensory qualities of cooked glutinous rice (RD6) by using the electric rice cooker method with different soaking conditions compared to cooking glutinous rice by steaming in a conventional steamer (control). Glutinous rice grain was soaked at different soaking conditions of temperatures at 25 and 45℃ and soaking time for 30, 60, and 90 min, and then were cooked by the electric rice cooker. The results indicated that the degree of starch gelatinization was increasingly correlated with the moisture content and water activity of the cooked waxy rice. Moreover, with the increase in the degree of gelatinization, the hardness value exhibited a decreasing trend, and the adhesiveness value increased. The L* (lightness), a* (redness), and whiteness index of cooked glutinous rice increased when the temperature and time of soaking increased, while the color intensity decreased. The overall acceptability scores indicated that the lower soaking time obtained a higher score for cooked glutinous rice. Compared with the control sample, the soaking conditions for the temperature and time of 25℃/30 min or 45℃/30 min are viewed as a suitable ratio of a good quality product for cooked glutinous rice by using the electric rice cooker method, in which rice cooking provided the high score of overall acceptability on consumer preference.
This study set out to make sponge cake a product of confectionery and bakery to expand the uses of rice bran and conducted a preliminary experiment to revise and supplement the addition of rice bran. The study sought to determine the level of added rice bran, 0~20%, by taking into account the taste, color, and marketability of rice bran in order to provide basic data for the possibilities of new product development and increase the usage of rice bran. As for the general composition, moisture, protein, fat, carbohydrate, and ash content comprised 9.50%, 15.51%, 18.12%, 48.17%, and 8.70% of the rice bran powder respectively. The pH of the dough decreased significantly with increased levels of rice bran. The specific gravity of the dough tended to rise significantly with the addition of rice bran. The group of 0% rice bran powder recorded the highest score of brightness, whereas the group of 20% rice bran powder scored lowest in terms of brightness. While there were significant differences between the control and experiment groups, no significant differences were found among the addition groups. Hardness also showed a tendency to significantly increase. The sensory evaluation results indicate that the group of 0% rice bran powder recorded the highest overall preference score at 5.00 and that the group of 20% rice bran powder had the lowest overall preference score at 2.87. The results also suggest that 10% rice bran powder sponge cake could be helpful in improving physical quality.
The purpose of this study is to improve Korean food market competitiveness in China, and to develop product diversity. Therefore, the paper will discuss and analyze the feasibility of combining Korean and Chinese cuisines. The paper is based on a SPSS-analyzed survey of 255 Jiangsu residents focusing on the concept of breakfast, and the recognition of and preference for Korean food. The result showed a high level of eating out for breakfast in Jiangsu province and the expectation of many options. The respondents generally preferred porridge, steamed stuffed dumplings, noodles and other options that are relatively convenient. Korean foods such as bulgogi, samgyeopsal, tteokbokki and bibimbap generally enjoyed a high degree of recognition and preference. This study selected bulgogi, jeyukbokkeum, dakgalbi and japchae as the stuffings for steamed dumplings and an evaluation of sensory attributes including saltiness, sweetness, spiciness, and gravy was conducted using 30 professionals. Relatively high scores were recorded in all aspects. Compared with the reference product, the dumplings with Korean food stuffing achieved higher scores. As a new development and attempt, the steamed dumplings with Korean food filling evaluated during this test demonstrated feasibility and enormous market potential. The study provides a new direction and reference value for the Chinese breakfast market and for the penetration of Korean food into the Chinese market.
The grade and price of Lentinula edodes largely differs in preference depending on the product area and seasonal factors. The product amount of autumn L. edodes was higher than that of spring L. edodes, but high quality, which is divided into "Hwago" is low in preference. Mostly, the autumn L. edodes is obtained as powder; hence, it is necessary to develop a processing method to utilize its flavor and aroma at an affordable price. Additionally, we estimated the content of 𝛽-glucan, ergosterol, vitamin D2, reducing sugars, and free amino acids and evaluated the anti-inflammatory activity of saccharification powder of log-cultivated L. edodes. In the saccharification powders obtained via 7 min of UV irradiation of log-cultivated L. edodes, 𝛽-glucan and vitamin D2 contents were found to be the highest, whereas ergosterol content was found to be the lowest. The content of reducing sugars ranged from 62.4 mg/L to 68.2 mg/L. The free amino acids were higher in these saccharification powders than in the control. Subsequently, RAW 264.7 cells were treated with different concentrations (10, 50, 100, 200, 300, and 500 ㎍/mL) of the saccharification powders of log-cultivated L. edodes obtained via different UV irradiation time applications. The cells showed good viability; the anti-inflammatory effect was found to be the highest at 7 min UV irradiation. Therefore, 7 min of UV irradiation was determined to be the optimum condition for manufacturing saccharification powders of log-cultivated L. edodes. Hence, saccharification powders of log-cultivated L. edodes may be used as a raw material for natural sweeteners, food additives, and in the food industry.
The present mobile phone industry has significant effect on the domestic economy and has taken root as the core item that has the responsibility to lead the Korean economy for a considerable period of time. As the mobile phone market becomes gigantic, the mobile phone is being used by people in broader age bracket, and functions or designs preferred by people of various age are getting more diverse. Like that, as the mobile phone has greater effect on and meaning in our daily lives, consumers of mobile phone have growing expectation of the mobile phone Now, the core function of voice communication via the mobile phone is not a great concern to consumers. But the function, such as more convenient and friendly information input and output, processing and storage, and the design, which is more sophisticated and optimized for the user environment, are being demanded, not just the simple voice communication. And as the modern design is getting more similar to the objects of traditional high art consumed by consumers every day, the aesthetic aspect of design can play an important role, as the factor that differentiates the product, in creating new value which forms the spiritual and emotional value of human beings to improve the quality of living, and in addition, the willingness of consumers to buy is determined by the design that they prefer the most. Like that, a new design of mobile phone based on a new dimension and preferred by the consumers the most is urgently required to be developed by shedding light on the factors related to the preference of consumers on the basis of the analysis on the aesthetic aspect, which can be said to be the most critical factor in the design process. Therefore, this study aims to identity the common preference and different factors of aesthetic aspects through the analysis on the aesthetic aspects of the mobile phone preferred by users among countries, and figure out the formative artistic factors of aesthetic aspects that are considered to be important, in order to propose the guideline on the aesthetic aspect of mobile phone that can be applied to the design of mobile phone practically.
Packaging has played important function on marketing as a silent salesman. As an interface of consumer and products, packaging fulfills several functions such as protection, sales promotion, communication and convenience during the distribution process. For the appearance of self-service sales method, packaging could be regarded as important salesman influencing consumers' preference on shelf in the shop. In this study, Vitamin water was selected as the proper target product for lower impact of prices and brands. With previous studies, Vitamin water packaging elements were classified as 'packaging material', 'packaging shape', 'label color', 'logo layout', then each packaging element was consist of details. To measure the influence of each packaging element on consumers' preference quantitatively and to minimize respondent's subjective judgment, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used as a tool. Through AHP result, packaging element of the most influence on consumers' preference is 'label color (0.370)', and 'container shape (0.246)', 'container material (0.230)', 'logo layout (0.154)' was in order. Among the detail packaging element, 'plastic (0.405)' has the greatest influence in 'container material' and 'cylinder (0.423)' in 'container shape', 'magenta (0.329)' in 'label color', 'vertical layout (0.572)' in 'logo layout'.
We focused on the condition of washed, fresh ginseng in the market and analyzed consumer attitudes to the product to improve the consumption of fresh ginseng. A preference for fresh ginseng was high among every age class, and was particularly notable in older individuals. Fresh ginseng was usually eaten as ginseng chicken soup, mostly in summer and winter, and as a valuable health food, rather than because of desirable qualities of taste or smell. A total of 66.5% of those surveyed reported that they had purchased fresh ginseng, mostly from big discount stores. Such stores were preferred as outlets owing to a reputation for quality and shopper convenience (the stores were located near interviewees' homes). More than 70% of purchasers emphasized that they chose to purchase in department stores and traditional markets owing to the reputation for quality of such sources. Most consumers considered quality to be a prime element in purchase decisions. A total of 32.9% of those surveyed had bought washed fresh ginseng to give as a gift to a friend. Of those surveyed, 67.1% had never bought washed fresh ginseng. The following reasons were proposed to explain the preference for purchase of ginseng with attached soil. Most consumers (40.2%) thought the soil was a reflection of quality. Those who preferred washed fresh ginseng considered that the material was hygienic and convenient to store. When questioned about their intention to buy washed fresh ginseng, 55.0% of consumers replied in the affirmative and 17.1% in the negative. When consumers were asked whether they would be willing to pay an additional charge for the washing and packing of fresh ginseng, 58.8% answered in the affirmative.
