패션 브랜드 슬로건의 언어적 특성별 소비자 반응 연구 (Research on consumer responses according to linguistic characteristics of fashion brand slogans)

  • In this study, it is explored how fashion brand slogans are categorized by linguistic characteristics and which linguistic characteristic is effective to improve consumer responses. Only 28% out of 1,346 fashion brands that are investigated are using slogans. Sportswear and men's wear are two product categories more often adopting slogans. A total of 11,113 consumers participated in the experimental study to evaluate slogan characteristics (familiarity, understandability, newness, pleasure), slogan attitude, and brand recall of 30 slogan-brand sets that were categorized by Park's 10 linguistic characteristics. In findings, slogans generating positive attitudes toward slogans and a good rate of brand recall tend to have no brand name in slogan, be written in the second-person view, include a futuristic message, and have information weighted on specialties. Slogan typology suggested based on results may be used for the future research as a basic guideline for the research on fashion brand slogans.

종합슈퍼마켓 PB상품의 선택속성이 소비감정, 브랜드태도 및 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향 (PB Product Attributes' Effects on Consumption Emotion, Brand Attitude, and Brand Loyalty in General Supermarkets)

  • Purpose - PB (Private Brand) refers to the product for which the distribution company plans the production independently, consigns the production to the manufacturer, or attaches the self-developed trademark and sells it. To reinforce competitiveness in such a market environment, diverse products development, systematic management activities, and marketing efforts to analyze and understand the consumers' behavior regarding PB products are emphasized. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationships among PB product attributes, consumption emotion, brand attitude, and brand loyalty in general supermarkets. First, PB product attributes were defined using the five categories of perceived price, store image, familiarity, perceived service, and perceived quality, based on preceding studies. This study examined the influence of PB product attributes on consumption. Further, this study examined the relation among consumption emotion, brand attitude, and brand loyalty. This study provides more detailed and concentrated strategic implications. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, the research model was designed to examine the relation among PB product attributes, consumption emotion, brand attitude, and brand loyalty. For the data collection method, the questionnaire survey comprised multiple items for each component and the direct interview method was employed. To collect data, the questionnaire survey was conducted for customers who personally visited the general supermarket after verifying the PB product purchase experience. The questionnaire survey was performed for one month, May 2014. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 240 questionnaires were used for the analysis, excluding the unanswered and insincere questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SPSS ver. 20.0. Results - First, PB product attributes had a significantly positive effect on consumption emotion. The PB product attributes perceived by the customer at the point of service contact are important to form the positive consumption emotion. Second, consumption emotion had a significantly positive effect on brand attitude. Third, the consumption emotion had a significantly positive effect on brand loyalty. Such consumption emotion is an important factor in causing the positive evaluation on the brand attitude perceived by the customer. Fourth, brand attitude had a significantly positive effect on brand loyalty. The consumption emotion was positively represented to invoke the relational continuance behavior. The relational continuance behavior accompanies the repetition of purchase, word of mouth, and recommendation activities, and influences trust regarding the brand, for which the customer maintains the transaction continuously. Conclusions - The PB product attributes perceived by the customer at the point of service contact are important factors to form the positive consumption emotion. Based on this result, the discount store service provider would prepare the measures that can make the customer recognize the positive value, and make more detailed efforts. Consumption emotion is an important factor to cause the positive evaluation on the brand attitude perceived by the customer. Based on this result, the general supermarket must make efforts to provide fun or convenience in the purchase process for consumers.

중국소비자의 한국자동차 구매의도에 관한 연구 (A study on Chinese Consumer Behavior of Korean Automobiles)

  • Purpose - This study intends to analyze Chinese consumers' purchase intention of Korean automobile. The aims of this study investigated to find out how product attributes and brand image affect the consumer's purchase intention of Korean automobiles in China. We consider the product attributes, brand image as evaluation criteria, also recognized as objectives for purchase intention. This study aims to analyze the positive effects on Chinese consumers' purchase intention with the variables by using the research model. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on theory of Purchase Intention, the concept of purchase intention was assessed by two factors: a) product attributes, and b) brand image to test the proposed hypotheses. The survey was conducted for 30 days, from October 17 to November 16 in 2018. With IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 and IBM SPSS AMOS 23.0, factor analysis and regression, Cronbach's alpha and correlation were tested. 300 samples were used for this analysis. Results - As a main result, product attributes and brand image exerted significant effects on consumer's purchase intention. Thus,

The findings of this thesis are as follows: Firstly, automobiles' quality factors were divided into two categories like product properties (price, performance, design, economy, and safety), and brand image (awareness, favorability, reliability, and familiarity). Second, it showed that product properties and brand image had positive impacts on purchase intention of consumer. Conclusions - The impact of product attributes and brand image on consumer perceived value of Korean automobiles in China can be seen as a universal psychology of consumers who trust automobile products such as high quality, technology, ets. The results offer some insights into the extended model and have important managerial implications for Korean automobile enterprise. As the findings of this thesis show, all strategic orientations have significant and positive effects on the ability of innovation. At the same time, automobile company must pay attention to quality. As the relationship between the automobiles' performance and brand image were positive and significant, automobile companies should have comprehensive strategic orientations focused on strengthening these factors.

선택대안의 수와 소비자의 제품에 대한 친숙도가 점포 내 구매결정에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Number of Alternatives and Product Familarity on Consumer Purchase Decisions)

  • 유통업체는 다양한 상품구색을 갖는 것이 좋다는 생각이 일반적이다. 그리나 최근 연구들은 선택대안의 수를 증가시키는 것이 오히려 소비자 선택을 떨어뜨린다고 한다. 본 연구는 선택대안의 수가 늘어나는 맥락에서 소비자 구매결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 본 연구에서는 선택대안의 수가 실제 고려제품군의 크기에 해당하는 $3{\sim}9$개인 경우, 선택대안의 수가 늘어남에 따라 비선택 비율이 줄어드는 것(선택 비율이 증가하는 것)을 알 수 있었다. 특히 선택대안의 수가 선택여부에 미치는 영향은 지배적 대안이 없을 때보다는 있을 때 더 높게 나타났다. 그리고 대안의 수와 함께 소비자의 제품에 대한 친숙도가 선택여부에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지배적 대안이 있을 경우에는 친숙도가 선택여부에 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 지배적 대안이 있을 경우에는 소비자의 제품에 대한 친숙도는 자체적으로는 선택여부에 영향을 미치지 않고, 대안의 수와 상호작용을 통해 선택여부에 영향를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 실무적 시사점과 연구의 한계점에 대해 논의하였다.

Development of Usability Evaluation Criteria for Senior-Friendly Autonomous Transportation Robot

  • Objective: The purpose of the study is to develop quantitative usability evaluation criteria for senior-friendly autonomous transportation robot. Background: The Republic of Korea has become the most rapidly aging society, and is anticipated to enter the post-aged society in 2026. To raise the quality of life of a senior with limited mobility and to reduce the burden of caregivers, many high-tech assistive products with information technologies are developed nowadays. The senior-friendly autonomous transportation robot is one person robot vehicle to move a senior to the destination for hospitals, nursing homes or silver town complex. With built-in navigation system and environmental monitoring censors, it automatically seeks the path to the destination and avoids collision to obstacles and pedestrians on the way. Due to the early stage of the product, few usability studies in this field have been done, mostly on general service robots to assist seniors, power wheelchairs and delivery robots. ISO and KS standards for the service robots are focused on safety. Method: Based on the reference usability index, the early draft of the usability evaluation questionnaires was developed. After small group tests and interviews, the experts modified the initial draft to the Usability Evaluation Criteria for Senior-Friendly Autonomous Transportation Robot (UEC-SFATR). Result: UEC-SFATR consisted of 4 subscales - Safety, Controllability, Efficiency and Satisfaction. All of the 4 subscales of UEC-SFATR were passed the reliability criteria by 4 groups of seniors, divided by gender and familiarity of smart-devices. Conclusion: UEC-SFATR covers wider area of user experiences of the SFATR and is a good measurement tool to help both the users and developers of the robot. Application: This study provides guide to the future product development and product competitiveness evaluation by quantifying user experiences for the SFATR.

소비가치와 경험적 제품평가가 희소성 메시지 효과에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Consumers Value and Experience Quality on the Effects of Scarcity Message Types)

  • The major aim of this study was to find out that the relation between consumers value and experience quality toward purchase intention in addition to the influence of the consumers value and experience quality on the effects of scarcity message types collaboration using limited edition in global SPA brand. As a result of an empirical analysis, it shows that consumers value and experience quality are co-related to the intention of purchase, especially, brand familiarity and reputation influenced scarcity valuation in the affirmative and both emotional value and epistemic value influenced the intention of purchase under scarcity message. The moderating effect of consumers value and experience quality however, turns out to be not significant although its effect is directionally supported that is purchase intention was high when scarcity message is shown. Moreover, emotional epistemic group was influenced by scarcity message so we found that consumers value is changed to emotional with subjective. This result indicates that we need the scarcity message type reflecting the characteristics of consumers value and experience quality to increase customer's purchase intention.

  • 소비의 주체성이 생산과 구조적 측면보다 쾌적함, 온유함, 유머 등의 디자인 제2차 적 가치의 현상으로 전의 되고 있으며 이와 같은 잉여성과 관련된 개념들은 디자인에서뿐만 아니라 최근 과학에서도 공간과 물질, 동일성과 중력 둥과 같은 개념이 사라지고 불확정성, 개연성, 모순, 애매모호함, 엔트로피 등과 같은 개념들로 대체되고 있다. 따라서 디자인과 관련된 인접학문의 지적동향과 주된 관심사의 탐구과정을 통하여 아이디어 전개에 필요한 그림과 이미지들의 변형과 조작 등 디자인의 제2차 적 가치와 잉여적 가치에 관련이 깊고 실제 아이디어 전개의 확장성과 다의성에 관련된 개념과 변형과 조작의 제4열 사고생성체계를 제시하고 자 한다.

배려디자인의 원리를 적용한 패션디자인 연구 (A Study on Fashion Design Applying the Principle of Considerate Design)

  • Considerate design enhances the familiarity, consideration and design accessibility of various customers. The aim of this study lies on analyzing the aesthetic characteristics and instrumental characteristics of fashion design and applying the considerate design principles. The fashion photograph collection that applies the considerate design principle, was collected from 2006 S/S to 2011 F/W through the following internet site: www. style. com. First, the considerate design key words used in the preceding studies and literatures were classified semantically into these words: "Supportiveness", "Variability", "Ease", "Protection". The result shows that considerate fashion design has used simple, comfortable and achromatic, squared silhouettes that are not affected by the changing trend, simple color coordination and hard materials to prolong the product and the plain pattern. By analyzing the instrumental characteristics of considerate fashion design according to the principles, designs of "Supportiveness" purposely used many changes and showed reversible ways the most. Designs of "Variability" used design changes in length, volume, detail, and other changing forms. Designs of "Ease" used easy-wear apparel, ties and pleats. Designs of "Protection" partially used coverings and different combinations.

백년초가 첨가된 시판 유과류의 기호 인자에 관한 연구 (A Study on Liking/Disliking Attributes of Commercial Yugwa (Korean oil pastry product) Containing Baeknyeoncho (Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten))

  • This study was performed to analyze the JAR (Just-About-Right) Rating and CATA (Check-All-That-Apply) Method for commercial Yugwa (Korean oil pastry products) containing Baeknyeoncho (Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten). The survey was conducted with 50 participants, and five kinds of Yugwa samples (Control, B-YG, B-RY, B-WY and B-GB) were used. According to the results of the study with these samples, the B-RY sample received the highest score in 'Try again (6.30/9)' and 'Recommend (6.24/9)'. The Control Sample, which was the traditional Yugwa, received the second highest score (Try again: 5.62/9, Recommend: 5.70/9). The liking attributes for these samples were related to eating convenience, familiar taste, traditional type and size. These findings suggest that the factors to be considered in the development of commercial Yugwa are the maintenance of traditional taste and familiarity in an easy-to-eat size for consumers.

A Study on the Effects of Quality Characteristics of Online Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products Shopping Malls affecting Customer Trust and Purchase Intention

  • Purpose - This study is to classify quality characteristics of online environment-friendly agricultural products shopping malls into 6 categories and to empirically test their relationship with customer trust, perceived manageability, perceived utility and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - This study targeted adults who have purchased ecofriendly agricultural production online malls for 4 weeks from September 3 to September 30, 2019. The survey type used was a structuralized self-report survey questionnaire made to meet the research purpose in 2019 as the time range. Out of 800 questionnaires, 500 copies are used after excluding surveys with insincere responses. Results - First, results to hypothesis 1, which was about independent variables and customer trust. Analysis showed that health, familiarity, platform reputation, reviews and product quality were found to have significant effect on customer trust; the hypothesis was adopted. On the other hand, system security did not affect customer trust significantly; it was rejected. Second, customer trust was shown to have significant effect on perceived manageability and perceived utility, so the hypothesis was adopted. Third, the hypothesis that perceived manageability moves onto perceived utility was adopted. Moreover, the hypothesis that perceived manageability moves onto purchase intention and the hypothesis that perceived utility moves onto purchase intention were adopted as well. Conclusions - Furthermore, the results of the study imply that it's imperative for online environment-friendly agricultural products shopping malls to consider their characteristics as the means to increase purchase intention of customers.
