공동협력 관계를 통한 GUI디자인 방법적 고찰 (A Review of Graphical Interface Design Methods through Collaborative Teamwork)

  • 뉴 미디어의 출현과 디지털 영역의 확장으로 인터페이스에 관련한 디자이너의 역할이 점점 늘어나고 있지만 아직 디자인 커뮤니티안에서는 아직 인터페이스 디자인의 기본 개념 및 방법론이 정립되지 않고 있다. 중요한 이유 중의 하나는 기준의 그래픽디자인이 일방적 커뮤니케이션이었다면 인터페이스 디자인은 쌍방 적 커뮤니케이션, 즉 인터랙션 이라는 것이다. 본 논문은 GUI 디자인의 사용 성을 강조하기 위해 소프트웨어 산업에서 일어나는 주요 문제와 디자이너의 의식 구조문제를 논하고 이를 해결하기 위한 방법을 제시하였다. 그 방법이란 소프트웨어 개발에 있어서, 공동협력(Collaboration)모형에 의거한 시각 디자인의 구체적인 내용인데, GUI디자인의 기본적인 시각언어 전개방법과 원리, 시각언어를 객관화하기 위한 Specification 시스템, 사용 성 테스트에서의 문제와 프로토 타입의 중요성, 마지막으로 디자인 평가 방법 등의 문제 등을 설명한다. 결론적으로 GUI디자인의 사용 성을 위해서는 디자이너가 다루는 시각언어의 논리적 체계성 및 인지적 접근을 강조하였는데, 이는 디자이너와 공동 협력을 하는 프로그램 앤지니어 및 제품 개발 구성원들과 커뮤니케이션 하는 데에 있어 객과 적 수단이 된다.

인터넷을 활용한 대중협업에 의한 디자인 가능성 연구 - 사용자 참여 웹사이트와 문헌 연구 - (Towards to Collective Design Activity through Mass Collaboration: A Review of Relevant Websites and Articles)

  • 본 논문은 온라인 참여를 통한 문제 해결 기법이 널리 활용되고 있음에 따라, HCI영역의 한 부분인 디자인행위가 온라인 시스템 기반의 대중협업기법(Mass Collaboration)을 통해 이루어질 수 있는지 여부를 탐색한 연구에 관한 논문이다. 문헌 연구와 온라인 웹사이트를 수집 분석한 결과, 디자인 행위의 주요 프로세스에 기반하여 비교하였을 때, 디자인 행위가 온라인 참여행위를 통해 수행이 가능할 것으로 예측되었다. 이러한 참여는 Web 2.0의 발전을 통해 많은 수의 대중들이 의사 개진과 의사 결정을 하는데 유용한 도구를 활용할 수 있게 된 덕분으로 풀이된다. 그러나 단순히 일반 참여자가 대중참여기법을 활용한다고 하더라도 전문 디자이너의 디자인 참여와 동일한 결과를 얻을 수 없을 것이라는 결과도 나타났다. 이는 전문가 영역의 문제 해결이 대중들의 판단과는 다른 경험과 전문성을 갖고 있어야 정확한 결과를 낼 확률이 늘어나는 것으로 해석되었다.

  • Concurrent Engineering (CE) has presented new possibilities for successful product development by incorporating various product life-cycle functions from the earlier stage of design. In the product design, geometric representation is vital not only in its traditional role as a means of communicating design information but also in its role as a means of externalizing designer's thought process by visualizing the design product. During the last dozens of years, there has been extraordinary development of computer-aided tools intended to generate, present or communicate 3D models. However, there has not been comparable progress in the development of 3D-CAD systems intended to represent and manipulate a variety of product life-cycle information in a consistent manner. In the previous research, the authors proposed a novel concept called Minus Volume (MV) to incorporate various design information relevant to product life-cycle functions. This paper proposes the use of the MV concept for the collaborative design environment, where many team members are geographically distributed over the networked environment, including Internet, Intranet, WWW, etc. A prototype 3D-CAD system is implemented based on the MV concept and illustrated with the successful implementation of collaborative design example.

  • In order to promptly cope with the various requirements of consumers, the environment of product development is being globalized in manufacturing industrials. For this reason, it is necessary to build up an efficient collaborative system for communication between remote area designers. Specially, while Internet and information technologies were merged with the manufacturing or business process, the research for collaborative system has become an important issue. Therefore, we propose a Web-based Engineering Collaboration Framework using SPS(SharePoint Portal Server) which is an enterprise business solution that integrates information from various system into one solution through single sign-on and enterprise application integration capabilities, with flexible deployment options and management tool. Through a Web-based Engineering Collaboration Framework, designers can exchange design information and have a conference in remote area designers or designer teams for alternative designs

  • The rapid progress of the Internet and network is affecting the engineering design environment as well as business that use Web technologies to enhance their competitive edge. In product development, experts and organization who take part in the design process are often geographically dispersed. Furthermore, different divisions and business often have heterogeneous CAD/CAE systems and methods for expressing product data, and addressing this heterogeneity creates additional costs and increases development time. Managing distributed CAD, CAE and other related systems in an organic and holistic manner from the initial stages of product development is imperative to ensure successful collaboration in the design process. Therefore, this study suggests a Web-based MDO framework to support interfacing and collective use of design and analysis tools.

한국적 요소를 활용만 아트마케팅 현황 고찰 (A Study of Art Marketing Using Korean Features)

  • In the 21st century called an age of culture and art beyond the information and technology, many companies are developing various art marketings. Cases of the art marketing especially utilizing Korean features among art marketings are being increased recently. It is creating new values as a characteristic based on the cultures value of Korea. This thesis examined cooperative product development focusing on collaborative trends between designers, artists and companies through research on product and art marketing using Korean features. Additionally, by studying features of culture promotional event including exhibition and contest sponsorship, advertisement and packaging and the meaning of futures art marketing were discussed. Though, to date, academic researches have not been thoroughgoing enough in this field, it is considered that cultural product commercializing cultural particularity can strengthen the national image with acknowledgement of the global value as the art marketing using Korean features can contribute to improve recognition and the national image. Based upon this study, the value of Korean features on which custom culture of Korea dwells will be able to give a help to the designer and artist for progressing collaboration with companies as well as the companies for introducing new cultural characteristic to marketing, in the future-proof point of view. Additionally, it will be able to help the government planning the policy for intensifying the national image as a reference.

  • 산학 연계 디자인 지원 프로그램의 효과적인 운영을 통하여 산업체는 고부가가치 창출을 통한 기업 경쟁력 강화를 이루고, 학교의 전문 인력은 관련 지식 및 정보와 기술의 사회 환원을 통한 지역 경제 활성화와 나아가서는 국가 산업의 국제경쟁력 향상에 기여할 수 있다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 산업체 요구에 합당한 실질적이고 현실적인 주문식 교육체제 구축이 되는 결과물의 교육과정 적용으로 학습효과의 효율성을 높이는 신지식 기반을 이룰 수 있다. 이에 정부 산하 관련 단체의 적극적 지원이 이루어지고 각 대학에서도 활발한 협조체제를 구축하고 있다. 본 연구는 현 주거 공간 내 욕실 공간을 위한 샤워 시스템 개발의 필요성과 업체의 디자인 개발의지를 반영하여 중소기업청의 산학 협동 연구 개발 사업 지원을 통하여 실질적 제품 개발이 이루어진 산학 연계 지원 체제의 디자인 프로세스에 근거하고 있다. 연구 개발을 위하여 욕실 공간의 개념과 현황을 분석함으로써 변화하는 욕실의 구성과 목욕 문화에 따른 개발 계획을 세우고 실내 공간 트랜드를 적용하여 제품 경쟁력을 갖는 신제품 개발이 이루어지도록 하고, 그 결과물의 피드백을 통한 정보활용이 이루어지는 실용적 연구의 목적을 갖는다. 이러한 산학 협동 신제품 개발을 통하여 현장 중심 교육의 발판을 마련할 수 있는 신지식 기반을 구축하여 사회 여건 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 교육효과를 기대할 수 있다.

패션 콜레보레이션 브랜드에 대한 소비자 반응 -콜레보레이션 유형과 브랜드 민감성 효과- (Consumer Responses toward Fashion Collaboration Brands -Effects of Collaboration Type and Brand Sensitivity-)

  • This study examines the effects of collaboration type and brand sensitivity on consumer responses toward fashion collaboration brands. For this study, six brands of fashion collaboration were selected by collaboration types: collaboration with same industry (Uniqlo-Jill Sander, H&M-Sonia Rykiel, and Levis-Jean Paul Gaultier) and collaboration with different industries (LG-Prada, Samsung-Armani, and LG-Levis). A selfadministered questionnaire was developed based on the literature that mainly included brand sensitivity, consumer response (brand association, brand values, and purchase intention), and marketing strategic elements in the context of fashion collaboration. For collecting the data, respondents were asked to choose and assess a previously purchased brand. A total of 299 usable data responses were obtained from Korean consumers aged from 15 to 40 years old. The consumer response toward the fashion collaboration brand consisted of four factors: Emotional value, perceived quality, symbolic value, and brand association. The results showed that the collaboration type had the main effect on emotional value, symbolic value, and purchase intention. Brand sensitivity had the main effect on brand association, emotional value, symbolic value, and purchase intention. There was also an interaction effect on emotional value. With respect to strategic marketing elements, product differentiation, premium pricing, and value pricing had partially positive effect on consumer responses; however, promotion had a negative effect on consumer responses (e.g., perceived quality, and emotional value). In addition, collaboration type or brand sensitivity moderated the effect of strategic marketing elements on consumer responses. This study discussed a managerial implication to develop a strategic brand alliance to manage brand equity in the fashion marketplace.

  • Concurrent Engineering (CE) is a popular method employed in product development. It treats the whole product design process by the consideration of product quality, cost, rate of progress, and demands of customers. The development of computer and network technologies provides a strong support to the realization of CE in practice. Aiming at the characteristics of CE and network collaborative design, this paper built network collaborative design system frame. Through the analysis of the network collaborative design modes based on CE, this paper provided a novel network collaborative design integration model. This model can integrate the product design information, design process, and knowledge. Intelligent collaboration was considered in the proposed model. The study showed that the proposed model considered main factors such as information, knowledge, and design process in collaborative design. It has potential application in CE fields.
