휴대인터넷은 유비쿼터스 시대를 앞당기는 등, 생산유발, 부가가치 창출, 수출유발, 고용창출의 경제적 파급효과와 함께 서비스 품질 향상, 이용요금의 인하, 생활의 변화 등 이용 측면에서 영향력이 클 것으로 전망되고 있다. 또한 휴대인터넷은 일부 소수의 국가를 제외하고는 아직 상용화되지 않은 서비스로, 우리나라는 기술표준화, 관련 노하우 축적, 부품의 국산화, 마케팅 경험 등에서 우위와 역량을 창출할 수 있어 향후 IT산업의 국가경쟁력에 크게 기여할 것으로 봅니다.

While genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are producing in many countries, issues related to safeties of GMOs as foods for human have risen. Because of such potential problems, the development of an indication system regarding GMO content contained in foods has been required. Particularly, an immune-chip, as widely demanded diagnostic tool for functional, structural analyses of proteins, has been investigated to simultaneously measure different analytes. We have developed methods for immobilizing antibody on glass surfaces as substrate and for generating chemiluminometric signals.

Nowadays, vehicle becoming necessity is increasing gradually and is main cause of environmental problem. The current automobile noise measurement test method such as ISO 362 which have been used many countries contribute seriously to enforce the regulation of the noise rigidly and actively study vehicle's noise, using that method. However, the amendment of ISO 362 was completed under the international agreement due to the changes in vehicle's techniques and road conditions. In this study, the difference between the current ISO 362(or ECE R51) and new ISO 362(or new ECE R51) is estimated by the test using the practical car producing domestically because the Korean manufacturer have to be interested in new test method.

In 1989, at the 2nd ICNIRS Meeting in Tsukuba, I projected certain directions for NIR technology would take in the future. Among those projections were: (1) An inrush of companies producing FT-NIR instruments. (2) Hybrid NIR Systems (3) Hand-held NIR Technology. All three thrusts have resulted in numerous commercial offerings over the last 12 years Hand-held technology for all fields is growing at an astonishing rate. To date, NIR work at North Carolina State University has produced four (4) hand-held NIR units for: (1) Nicotine and Moisture in tobacco, (2) Vanillin and Moisture in Vanilla Beans, (3) Protein, Moisture and Nitrogen in plant tissue, (4) Chlorophyll and Moisture in Growing Plants: A NIR Spectrometer for Developing Countries. This paper will discuss these developments, including design and performance data.

Today's economic environment, which has reached to an unlimitedly competitive edge, is producing numbers of economical values and new type of knowledges under the paradigm of "globalization". And they have to cope with the changes to the office environment, too. Now every corporation has been laid to the point of time that needs more rational and effective ways of business management and providing work environment. Mulberry (Morus spp.) is an economically important tree crop being cultivated in India, China and other sericulturally important countries for its foliage to feed the silk producing insect Bombyx mori L. Genetic improvements of mulberry lag behind to the same in many other economically less important crops due to the complexity of its genetics, the breeding behavior, and the lack of basic information on factors governing important agronomic traits. In this review, the general usage and advantages of different molecular markers including isoenzymes, RFLPs, RAPDs, ISSRs, SSRs, AFLPs and SNPs are described to enlighten their applicability in mulberry genetic improvement programs. Application of DNA markers in germplasm characterization, construction of genetic linkage maps, QTL identification and in marker-assisted selection was also described along with its present status and future prospects.

Fossil fuel, the energy source of internal combustion engine automobiles, is limited in resource and has caused environmental issues for decades. Accordingly, automobile manufacturers from many countries around the world are developing or producing eco-friendly vehicles that utilize alternative sources of energy. These vehicles are equipped with many electronic and electrical components which operate on high voltage and/or large current that were not used in conventional combustion engine automobiles. In this paper, in order to analyze the electro-magnetic interference noise, electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles are tested under the guidelines of KMVSS (Korean Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) as well as under test modes that are not stipulated under the guidelines.

Green tea is popular as health food these days and has effects of anti-cancer and an-agering. A various Foreign countries produce green health cookie adding the first, the second and third classes green tea on a commercial. The cookie is produced by wheat flour adding 4% green tea. The changes of taste depending on the quality of green tea are examined through the five sense and the mechanical inspection. The results are as follow: First, as the quality of green tea is higher score is achieved. Second, as the quantity of green tea is increased, the goods are harder in the five sence inspection. Third, as the quality of green tea is higher, brightness is lower in the measurement of color. Therefore, this study indicates that it is desirable to use the good qualify of green tea in case of producing cookie on a commercial scale.

Many countries are enforcing the Product Liability Act to ask the responsibility for the supply of the safe products. Thus, the safety of the product becomes one of the most important elements in modern corporate management. Diamond tool industries producing risk-high products cannot make an except to this situation. This research presents how Diamond tool manufactures in korea to respond effectively to Product Liability through construction of Product Safety Management System.

Recently, underdeveloped countries have exhibited slight increases in their share of global dairy production. However, this growth is mostly the result of an increase in the number of producing animals, rather than a rise in productivity per milking cow. Fortunately, with the increase in milk production, the world dairy trade reported that the abundance of milk has resulted in increased production of other dairy products, such as dairy powder and butter. In general, there has been an increasing trend in the demand and supply of milk and all dairy products in the international dairy market since 2005. As the economy recovers, both the demand and consumption of milk will increase. However, no change is expected in the long-term prospects for the dairy market, particularly for 2016.
