This paper describes a charge sharing capacitive-sensing circuit technique that improves the quality of images captured with fingerprint sensor LSIs. When the finger is dry, the electrical resistance of a finger surface is high. It leads to poor image quality. To capture clear images even when the finger is dry, the modified capacitive detection circuit improves the image quality using an enhancement plate at the finger surface and a voltage control circuit. The test circuit is analyzed on $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process.

In this paper, an input-series auxiliary power supply scheme is proposed, which is suitable for high input voltage and multiple-output applications. The power supply scheme is based on a two-transistor forward topology, all of the series modules have a common duty ratio, all the switches are turned on and off simultaneously, and the whole circuit has a single power transformer. It does not require an additional controller but still achieves efficient input voltage sharing (IVS) for each series module through its inherent transformer-integration strategy. The IVS process of this power supply scheme is analyzed in detail and the design considerations for the related parameters are given. Finally, a 100W multiple-output auxiliary power supply prototype is built, and the experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme and the validity of the theoretical analysis.

For the success of total six sigma innovation, it is necessary to improve the suppliers' quality in the supply chain. This paper presents the deployment and support system of six sigma innovation for supply chain quality improvement, with the application to an aerospace production company. The process of project selection, project implementation, financial effect verification, benefit sharing is presented. This paper will benefit the companies which are going to enhance all the companies in the supply chain via six sigma activities.

Data encryption, particularly application-level data encryption, is a common solution to protect data confidentiality and deal with security threats. Application-level encryption is a process in which data is encrypted before being sent to the database. However, cryptography transforms data and makes the query difficult to execute. Various studies have been carried out to find ways in order to implement a searchable encrypted database. In the current paper, we provide a new encrypting method and querying on encrypted data (ZSDB) for different data types. It is worth mentioning that the proposed method is based on secret sharing. ZSDB provides data confidentiality by dividing sensitive data into two parts and using the additional server as Dictionary Server. In addition, it supports required operations on various types of data, especially LIKE operator functioning on string data type. ZSDB dedicates the largest volume of execution tasks on queries to the server. Therefore, the data owner only needs to encrypt and decrypt data.

Extensible processors provide an efficient mechanism to boost the performance of the whole system without losing much flexibility. However, due to the intense demand of low cost and power consumption, customizing an embedded system has been more difficult than ever. In this paper, we present a framework for custom instruction generation considering both area constraints and resource sharing. We also present how we can speed up the process through pruning and library-based design space exploration.

Led by KIEP, this project to establish an Online Union Catalog System on Northeast Asia is the first such attempt to create a collaboration between social science libraries in Korea. This Online Union Catalog System is seen as a problem solving mechanism, as it helps to maximize efficiency in utilizing labor, finance, and data, by sharing library resources. This study focuses on the process of converting databases in a non-MARC format to a MARC format.

The research is intended to satisfy two interesting research purposes: one is to examine activities of both BSC adotion phase and implementation phase under carrying BSC project. The second purpose is to analyze the influence from those activities towards innovating business world. This study was conducted thru online questionnaires via online survey system during 3 months for targeting mainly on business users and consultants. The findings of the study suggest that employee's involvement, BSC information sharing, collaboration cross task related teams have major roles to operate BSC successfully. From findings, KPI choice, top-down goal allocation, budgeting allocation have strong influences on upgrading business innovations. Those businesses like to considering adoption of BSC can benefit from the findings of the research.

Most recognition algorithms for intelligent surveillance system are based on analysis of the video collected from one camera. Video analysis is also used to compute the internal parameters used in the recognition process. The algorithm computes only the video of the fixed area so that it is a insufficient method and it could not use information of the related areas. However, intelligent integrated surveillance system should be constructed to correlate the events in the other areas as well as in the fixed area. In this paper, in order to construct the intelligent integrated surveillance system, we describe the method not to focus on the video of each camera but to aware the whole event by sharing information between cameras, which is more accurate. The method would be used to aware the event in the fixed area such as stations in urban transit.

본 연구는 국제 합작투자사업 참여 기업들을 대상으로 국제합작투자 사업에서의 합작사업 파트너 기업 간 통제가 합작투자사업참여 파트너간 지식공유 및 협력과 합작사업성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고자 하는 실증연구이다. 본 연구에서는 국제합작사업 참여기업간 통제를 과정통제와 산출통제로 구분하여 통제유형별로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 구조방정식을 이용하여 합작투자사업 참여 파트너간 통제유형별로 지식공유와 협력 및 합작사업성과에 어떠한 유의한 영향을 미치는지 실증분석을 통하여 알아보고자 한다.

Purpose and Method: Despite benefits of building energy simulations, practitioners seem to be reluctant to use simulations for design decision making. By means of survey and interviews, this study aims to investigate domestic hindrance against increasing simulation usability, and to collect user requirement to enhance technical functionality of the simulation. Also this study compares the Information Sharing Workflow by Stantec and general domestic design process in order to identify a direction of the Integrated Design Process. Result: Finally this study wraps up with suggestions of how simulation functionality and use protocol should be in order to satisfy user requirement and also to gather more users.
