  • One of the major important tasks in the robotic $CO_2$ arc welding process is to understand how process variables affected bead geometry and to subsequently develop the mathematical models to predict the desired bead dimensions. Experiment results are compared to outputs obtained using a set of published formulae relating input variables to output parameters and also investigated process variables on bead geometry for robotic $CO_2$ arc welding process The university of results obtained using empirical equations taken from existing models provided to be limited in predicting experimental bead shapes.

  • Some simulation tools have been developed to support business process reengineering. These tools can be used to not only analyze an as-is model of the existing process but also assess the potential value and feasibility of to-be models. But most of them are restricted to analyzing and redesign of the workflow only. Little attention is paid to the organization of people and their roles. This paper Presents a new methodology for business process simulation modeling and analysis. The methodology is based on the concepts of roles and customer-supplier chains. So the proposed methodology allows for tracking people and their roles affected by reengineering the business process. It enables one to analyze and evaluate not only workflow, but roles that are part of the flow. This paper developed a simulator to systematically construct simulation models and conduct simulations easily and efficiently. A case study is also presented as an illustrative example.

  • The tension levelling process is performed to elongate the strip plastically in combination of tensile and bending strain so that all longitudinal fibers in the strip have an approximately equal amount of length and undesirable strip shapes are corrected to the flat shape. This paper is concerned with a simulation of the tension levelling process based on the analysis of the unit model for the tension leveller. Analysis technique such as the sequential analysis of the nit model is suggested and verified with the assembly analysis of the unit model for the effective and economic analysis of the full set of the tension leveller. Analysis of the full tension levelling process using sequential unit models is carried out and provides the effect of the intermesh and optimum amount of the intermesh in tension levelling process.

  • A business process flow model for an intermediary type shopping mall consisting of multiple sellers has been presented in this study. Specifically, we defined 11 essential business processes of a front office customer's view point and set up detailed process flow models using IDEF3 (Integrated DEFinition). The characteristic of this study lies in providing a dynamic model rather than static models. The results may form a conceptual framework not only for shopping mall processes but for analysis and improvement toward extended electronic business systems.

  • A business process flow model for an intermediary type shopping mall consisting of multiple sellers has been presented in this study. Specifically, we defined 7 essential business processes of the shopping mall administrator and 6 processes of the administrator of a seller. We then performed detailed process flow models using IDEF3 (Integrated DEFinition). The characteristic of this study lies in providing a dynamic model rather than static models. The results may form a conceptual framework not only for shopping mall processes but for analysis and improvement toward extended electronic business systems.

  • In manufacturing industry, image scanning technique has made enormous progress in past decades. 3D models have been also very important to continuously monitor the related spatial information for freeform buildings. The process of shape making of 3D scanning is as follows: mesh surface segmentation, NURBS surface generation, and parametric solid model generation. We will review the process and applying process. Especially in the construction industry, 3D data collection by laser scanning has become an high quality 3D models. Therefore, in this research, we have an effort to review construction of reverse design process for freeform envelope using 3D scanning. The technology enables many 3D shape engineering and design parameterization of reverse engineering in the construction site.

  • Since their first inception a few decades ago, software components have received much attention mainly due to their alleged benefits of quality and productivity improvement. Despite this, it is yet to be agreed upon what and how components should be designed. This paper aimed to bridge the gap by proposing a collaborative process where the voice of the customer is captured and documented by employing the event and entity models. These requirement elements (WHAT) are cross-tabulated in three relation matrices in accordance with the weights provided by the business users. The requirements are fed into the algorithm invented by the authors to optimize the component grouping (HOW). This collaborative process has been successfully validated at an enterprise wide software development project. The process was effective to help the users more actively involved in the design of the system and made the whole process faster and more adaptive to the changes.

  • As the size and complexity of software increases, it is important to ensure the quality of software through testing. Many organizations refer to international standards or test process models to improve the quality of software through establishing a systematic test process. However, these standards and process models provide general processes that do not reflect the characteristics of the domain or the organization's test policies and strategies. To establish a test process that reflects the characteristics of the organization, test policies and strategies based on the organization's quality objectives and the organizational and domain characteristics should be reflected. This study proposes specific methods for eliciting activities and information to establish organizational software test policies and strategies that are essential to establishing a test process that reflects the characteristics of the organization and the system.

  • We define some multi-type asset models derved from L$\acute{e}$vy proceses which emphasize coefficients of stochastic differential equations. Also these asset models can be represented by Doleance-Dade linear equations derived from jump-type semimartingales which are decomposed by various terms of time basically. For these asset models, we can construct optimal portfolio strategy by using filtered various information at each check time.

  • We define some asset models which are useful for portfolio construction in various terms of time. Our asset models are geometric jump-diffusions defined by the solutions of stochastic differential equations which are decomposed by various terms of time basically. We also can study pricing and hedging strategy of options in our models roughly.
