In recognizing knowledge as a new resource in gaining organizational competitiveness, knowledge management suggests a method in managing and applying knowledge for improving organizational performance. Much knowledge management research has focused on identifying, storing, and disseminating process related knowledge in an organized manner. Applying knowledge to decision making has a significant impact on organizational performance than solely processing transactions for knowledge management. In this research, we suggest a method of knowledge-based decision-making using system dynamics, with an emphasis to strategic problems. The proposed method transforms individual mental models into explicit knowledge by translating partial and implicit knowledge into an integrated knowledge model. The scenario-based test of the organized knowledge model enables decision-makers to understand the structure of the target problem and identify its basic cause, which facilitates effective decision-making. This method facilitates the linkage between knowledge management initiatives and achieving strategic goals and objectives of an organization.
Blockchain enabled Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), a new form of organization with conveying its core value - trust. Token holders who are participating DAO's governance share their thoughts, information, and ideas in online forum. But it is problem that chronological form of DAO's online forum makes token holders hard to find crucial information, meaning that many of them might not understand what is happening discussion. In this paper, we studied not only a decision making process which feature is iteration, visualization, and applicable to DAO with 6 steps in total but also a decision making tool which is based on the process of this paper. The tool has features to help participants such as voting model, visualization features which gives guidance to them for their decision during the process. Our experiment showed that the process and tool is somewhat reasonable, and the information during the process is effective for participants. This work is expected to be applied to current DAOs to make a decision among the token holders.

T.V advertising, friends and the attitude of their mothers. 2. Decision making process was composed of 4 dimensions in this study; information sources criteria for products problem experience of consumption and type of problem solving. In case of information sources there was a signifiant difference according to sex. grade level of parents’education. Criteria for products were significantly different according to sex grade. level of father’s education type of father’s job amount of pocket money and how they gained their pocket money. Consumption problem experience & type of problem solving were significantly different according to sex and grade. 3. Preference for imported products was significantly different according to criteria for products and consumption problem experience out of adecision making process.
In complex decision making such as ill-defined system, one of the main problem is how to treat ambiguous aspect of the decision making. According to the complexity and ambiguity of the objective systems, many types of evaluation attributes are necessary for the rational decision and the relationship among the attributes become complex and fuzzy. Fuzzy integral is very effective to evalute the complex system with interaction between attributes but how to save the evaluation efforts in the decision making process of grading the membership of the objects or alternative is the problem to be tackled. Because the more object there are to evaluate, the number of decisions to made increase exponentially. Therefore, this paper aimes to propose a new evaluation algorithm based on fuzzy integral which can save the evaluator's efforts in decision making process. The proposed algorithm is constructed as follows : First, compose the fuzzy measure by introducing AHP(Analytical Hierachy Process) & mutual interaction coefficient. Second, generate fuzzy measure value of monotone family set for calculating the fuzzy integral. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is investigated through the example and sensitivity of interaction coefficient is illustrated.
This paper is aimed to present a fuzzy decision-making approach to deal with disaster recovery priority decision problem in information system. We derive an evaluation approach based on TOPSIS(Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution), to help disaster recovery priority decision of total information system for port logistics in a fuzzy environment where the vagueness and subjectivity are handled with linguistic terms parameterized by trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. This study applies the fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making method to determine the importance weight of evaluation criteria and to synthesize the ratings of candidate disaster recovery system. Aggregated the evaluators' attitude toward preference, then TOPSIS is employed to obtain a crisp overall performance value for each alternative to make a final decision. This approach is demonstrated with a real case study involving 4 evaluation criteria(system dependence, RTO, loss, alternative business support), 7 information systems for port logistics assessed by 5 evaluators from Maritime Affairs and Port Office.
Stochastic resource-constrained project scheduling problem is an extension of resource-constrained project scheduling problem such that activity duration has stochastic nature. In real situation where activity duration is not known until the activity is finished, open-loop based static policies such as activity-based policy and priority-based policy will not well cope with duration variability. Then, a dynamic policy based on closed-loop decision making will be regarded as an alternative toward achievement of minimal makespan. In this study, a dynamic policy designed to select activities to start at each decision time point is illustrated. The performance of static and dynamic policies based on variable neighborhood search is evaluated under the discrete-event simulation environment. Experiments with J120 sets in PSPLIB and several probability distributions of activity duration show that the dynamic policy is superior to static policies. Even when the variability is high, the dynamic policy provides stable and good solutions.

Dealing with uncertainty is always a challenging problem. Intuitionistic fuzzy sets was presented to manage situations in which experts have some membership and non-membership value to assess an alternative. Hesitant fuzzy sets was used to handle such situations in which experts hesitate between several possible membership values to assess an alternative. In this paper, the concept of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set is introduced to provide computational basis to manage the situations in which experts assess an alternative in possible membership values and non-membership values. Distance measure is defined between any two intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy elements. Fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution is developed for intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set to solve multi-criteria decision making problem in group decision environment. An example is given to illustrate this technique.
MODM (multiobjective decision-making) problem is very complex system for the analyst. The problem is more complex if the goals of each of the objective functions are expressed imprecisely. It requires suitable MODM method to deal with imprecisions. Therefore, we present a new interactive fuzzy decision making method for solving multiobjective nonlinear programming problems by assuming that the decision maker (DM) has imprecise goals that assume fuzzy linguistic variable for each of the objective functions. The imprecise goals of the DM are quantified by eliciting corresponding membership functions through the interactive with the DM out of six membership functions. After determining membership functions, in order to generate the compromise or satisficing solution which is .lambda.-pareto optimal, .lambda.-max problem is solved. The higher degree of membership is chosen to satisfy imprecise goals of all objective functions by combining the membership functions. Then, the values are the compromise or satisficing solution. On the basis of the proposed method, and interactive computer programming is written to implement man-machine interactive procedures. Our programming is a revised version of sequential unconstrained minimization technique. Finally, a numerical example illustrates various aspects of the results developed in this paper.

Various forms of procurement are open to companies when constructing new owner-occupied properties. The selection of a form of procurement is an important decision-making problem for companies and their Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) departments. With this in mind, a decision support tool has been developed to optimise the outcome and success of company's proposed real estate development projects and is presented in this paper. This model can also be used for current real estate portfolios to optimise returns in the long term. In pursuit of this objective and in order to provide an academic basis for this study, decision-relevant goals and parameters were initially identified from the referenced literature used in our research. These were subsequently evaluated in a case study of a corporate development project and identified as specific decision criteria from the perspective of the CREM. The investigation identified 15 criteria that are relevant to the corporate decision-making process in procuring and/or developing property. A model for supporting and resolving decision-making problems of this type was derived from decision theory. In this paper, a decision-making tool is presented that takes into account all the decision criteria from the CREM point of view for the first time. This model should therefore serve as an aid in implementing the decision-making process for the development of real estate projects in a more structured and transparent manner.

A number of effective methods for multiple-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) have been proposed in recent years. However, the different methods frequently yield different, even sometimes contradictory, results for the same problem. In this paper a novel criterion to determine the advantages and disadvantages of different methods is proposed. First, the decision-making process is divided into three parts: translation of experts' preferences, aggregation of experts' opinions, and comparison of the alternatives. Experts' preferences aggregation is considered the core step, and the quality of the collective matrix is considered the most important evaluation index for the aggregation methods. Then, methods to calculate the similarity measure, correlation, correlation coefficient, and energy of the intuitionistic fuzzy matrices are proposed, which are employed to evaluate the collective matrix. Thus, the optimal method can be selected by comparing the collective matrices when all the methods yield different results. Finally, a novel approach for aggregating experts' preferences with IVIFN is presented. In this approach, experts' preferences are mapped as points into two-dimensional planes, with the plant growth simulation algorithm (PGSA) being employed to calculate the optimal rally points, which are inversely mapped to IVIFNs to establish the collective matrix. In the study, four different methods are used to address one example problem to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
