Mather type dense plasma focus device was develooped for the feasibili쇼 study in its application to the x-ray lithography. To etermine the electrical characteristics, the temporal begavior of the discharge current and the voltage was measured by using the Rogowski coil and the high voltage probe respectively. The results are 9 $\mu\textrm{s}$ of the period, 18m$\Omega$ of resistance and 0.16$\mu$Η of inductance. The average current sheath velocity was measured by the light signal emitted at the moving plasma sheath. The light signal was detected through two fiber bundles. When the applied voltage was 13 kV and the initial jpressure of argon was 21.8 Pa, the best plasma focus was occurred. The x-ray emission characteristics from the plasma focus was determined by the x-ray pictures taken by pinhole camera. It is focus that the plasma was focused at 1.4 cm distant position above the center electrode and its diameter was about 1.0 m.
This review introduces the current technique of photoacoustic imaging as it is applied in imaging-guided surgery (IGS), which provides the surgeon with image visualization and analysis capabilities during surgery. Numerous imaging techniques have been developed to help surgeons perform complex operations more safely and quickly. Although surgeons typically use these kinds of images to visualize targets hidden by bone and other tissues, it is nonetheless more difficult to perform surgery with static reference images (e.g., computed tomography scans and magnetic resonance images) of internal structures. Photoacoustic imaging could enable real-time visualization of regions of interest during surgery. Several researchers have shown that photoacoustic imaging has potential for the noninvasive diagnosis of various types of tissues, including bone. Previous studies of the surgical application of photoacoustic imaging have focused on cancer surgery, but photoacoustic imaging has also recently attracted interest for spinal surgery, because it could be useful for avoiding pedicle breaches and for choosing an appropriate starting point before drilling or pedicle probe insertion. This review describes the current instruments and clinical applications of photoacoustic imaging. Its primary objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of photoacoustic IGS in spinal surgery.
Agarose hydrogel, a solid electrolyte, was investigated voltammetrically in terms of transport properties and natural convection effects using a ferrocenyl compound as a redox probe. To confirm the diffusion properties of solute on the agarose interface, the diffusion coefficients (D) of ferrocenemethanol in agarose hydrogel were determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) according to the concentration of agarose hydrogel. While the value of D on the agarose interface is smaller than that in the bulk solution, the square root of the scan rate-dependent peak current reveals that the mass transport behavior of the solute on the agarose surface shows negligible convection or migration effects. In order to confirm the reduced natural convection on the gel interface, scan rate-dependent CV was performed in the solution phase and on the agarose surface, respectively. Slow scan voltammetry at the gel interface can determine a conventional and reproducible diffusion-controlled current down to a scan rate of 0.3 mV/s without any complicated equipment.
The cosmic dark sector, composed of dark energy and dark matter, might be coupled, and hence mediate a fifth-force which gives rise to distinctive cosmological signatures. I will consider an interacting dark sector, in which dark energy and dark matter are coupled via specific well-motivated coupling functions. After an overview of these coupled dark energy models, I will discuss the current model parameter constraints derived from the latest cosmological observations which probe the expansion history, and the growth of cosmic structures of our Universe. Moreover, I will demonstrate how different measurements of the Hubble constant, including the GW170817 measurement, influence the inferred constraints on the dark coupling. I will further discuss how one could put tighter constraints on such a dark sector coupling with the upcoming large-scale radio surveys.
This paper introduces the eddy current signal characteristic of magnetic and non-magnetic gas turbine rotor. In the past, Magnetic particle inspection method was used in magnetic material for qualitative defect evaluation and the ultrasonic test method was used for quantitative evaluation. Nowadays, eddy current method is used in magnetic gas turbine rotor inspection due to advanced sensor design technology. We are studying on the magnetic gas turbine rotor by using eddy current method. We prepared diverse depth specimens made by magnetic and non-magnetic materials. We select optimum frequency according to material standard penetration data and experiment results. We got the signal on magnetic and non-magnetic material about 0.2 mm, 05 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm depth defects and compare the signal amplitude and signal trend according to defect depth and frequency. The results show that signal amplitudes of magnetic are bigger than non-magnetic material and the trends are similar on every defect depth and frequency. The detection and resolution capabilities of eddy current are more effective in magnetic material than in non-magnetic materials. So, the eddy current method is effective inspection method on magnetic gas turbine rotor. And it has the merits of time saving and simple procedure by elimination of the ultrasonic inspection in traditional inspection method.
Due to the characteristics of the farmland in Korea, forward and reverse shift is the most used. The fatigue of farmers is caused by forward and reverse shifting with a manual transmission. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the convenience of forward and backward shifting. This study was a basic study on the development of a current control system for forward and reverse shifting of agricultural tractors using proportional control valves and a controller. A test bench was fabricated to evaluate the current control accuracy of the control system, and the stability of the controller was evaluated through CPU (central processing unit) load measurements. A controller was selected to evaluate the stability of the proportional valve controller. The stability evaluation was performed by comparing and analyzing the command current of the controller and the actual current measured. The command current was measured using a CAN (controller area network) communication device and DAQ (data acquisition). The actual current was measured with a current probe and an oscilloscope. The control system and stability evaluation was performed by measuring the CPU load on the controller during control operations. The average load factor was 12.27%, and when 5 tasks were applied, it was shown to be 70.65%. This figure was lower than the CPU limit of 74.34%, when 5 tasks were applied and was judged to be a stable system.

Radiopharmaceutical agents for positron emission tomography (PET), such as $^{18}F$-FDG and $^{68}Ga$, have been used not only for whole-body PET imaging but also for intraoperative radionuclide-guided surgery due to their quantitative and sensitive imaging characteristics. Current intraoperative probes detect gamma or beta particles, but not both of them. Gamma probes have low sensitivities since a collimator has to be used to reduce backgrounds. Positron probes have a high tumor-to-background ratio, but they have a 1-2 mm depth limitation from the body surface. Most of current intraoperative probes produce only audible sounds proportional to count rates without providing tumor images. This research aims to detect both positrons and annihilation photons from $^{18}F$ using plastic scintillators and a GAGG scintillation crystal attached to silicon photomultiplier (SiPM). The depth-of-interaction (DOI) along the plastic scintillator can be used to obtain the 2-D images of tumors near the body surface. The front and rear part of the intraoperative probe consists of $4{\times}1$ plastic scintillators ($2.9{\times}2.0{\times}12.0mm^3$) for positron detection and a Ce:GAGG scintillation crystal ($12.0{\times}12.0{\times}9.0mm^3$) for annihilation photon detection, respectively. The DOI resolution of $4.4{\pm}1.6mm$ along the plastic scintillator was obtained by using the 3M enhanced specular reflector (ESR) with rectangular holes between the plastic scintillators, which showed the feasibility of a 2-D image pixel size of $2.9{\times}4.4mm^2$ (X-direction ${\times}$ Y-direction).
This paper presents a stator winding fault diagnosis technique of induction motor on the PC - based virtual instrumentation system designed using the graphical programming language LabVIEW. This method collects the 3-phase current signals using the current probe amplifier and PXI/DAQ system then the preprocessing removes the noise using LPF, after then this method transforms the stator current to Park's vector and obtains the each Park's Vector pattern and detects stator winding fault by comparing the obtained faulted pattern with the healthy pattern. This proposed LabVIEW based diagnosis system is applied to the 3 phase 1 hp induction motor and obtained the reasonable results under no load condition. The test results give us the possibility a simple and realistic on-line winding fault diagnosis system.

The bulk current injection (BCI) and direct power injection (DPI) method have been established as the standards for the electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) test. Because the BCI test uses a probe to inject magnetically coupled electromagnetic (EM) noise, there is a significant difference between the power supplied by the radio frequency (RF) generator and that transferred to the integrated circuit (IC). Thus, the immunity estimated by the forward power cannot show the susceptibility of the IC itself. This paper derives the real injected power at the failure point of the IC using the power transfer efficiency of the BCI method. We propose and mathematically derive the power transfer efficiency based on equivalent circuit models representing the BCI test setup. The BCI test is performed on I/O buffers with and without decoupling capacitors, and their immunities are evaluated based on the traditional forward power and the real injected power proposed in this work. The real injected power shows the actual noise power level that the IC can tolerate. Using the real injected power as an indicator for the EMS test, we show that the on-chip decoupling capacitor enhances the EM noise immunity.

In this study, electrical properties of self-assembled dipyridinium dithioacetate molecule onto the Au(111) substrate is observed using Scanning Tunneling Microscopy(STM) by vortical structure of STM probe. At first, the Au(111) substrate is cleaned by piranha solution$(H_2SO_4:H_2O_2\;=\;3:1)$. Subsequently, 1 mM/ml of dipyridinium dithioacetate molecule is self-assembled onto the Au(111) surface. Using STM, the images of dipyridinium dithioacetate molecule which is self-assembled onto the Au(111) substrate, can be observed. In addition, the electrical properties(I-V) of dipyridinium dithioacetate can also be examined by using Scanning Tunneling Spectroscopy(STS). From the results of the measurement of the current-voltage(I-V), the property of Negative Differential Resistance(NDR) that shows the decreases of current according to the increases of voltage is observed. We found the NDR voltage of the dipyridinium dithioacetate is -1.42 V(negative region) and 1.30 V(positive region), respectively.
