시선 추적기를 활용한 지질도에서 예비 지구과학교사들의 단층 판별에 대한 사례 연구 (Case Study on the Pre-Service Earth Science Teachers' Faults Discrimination on Geological Map using Eye Tracker)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비 지구과학교사들이 지질도에서 단층을 판별하는 동안 그들이 사용하는 내용 지식과 문제해결 과정을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구자들은 시선 추적기(Tobii Pro Glasses 2 모델)를 활용하여 예비 지구과학교사들(N=12)이 단층 해석에 대한 문제를 해결하는 동안 그들의 시선 고정 시간, 시선 경로에 대한 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그들은 정단층, 역단층, 주향이동단층 등에 대한 개념은 인지하고 있지만, 대부분의 예비 지구과학교사들은 지질도에서 단층 해석에 필요한 절차적 지식은 인지하고 있지 않다. 둘째, 예비 지구과학교사들은 지질도에서 단층을 해석하기 위해 지질 단면도를 그리지 않았고, 3차원적 정보가 아니라 지질도에서 수집한 2차원적 정보를 바탕으로 단층을 판별하였다. 그러므로 차후 교육 현장으로 진출하는 예비 지구과학교사들이 자연현상에 대한 이해와 더불어 그 자연현상을 이해하는데 필요한 절차적 지식을 학습할 수 있도록 교수학습환경을 개선할 필요가 있다. 그리고 본 연구의 결과는 차후 새로운 교육과정을 구성하거나 교사 교육에 대한 자료를 개발하는데 실질적으로 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

  • We implemented POPeye (Probe of Performance + eye), a system analysis simulator to evaluate DRAM performance in a personal computer environment. When running any real-life application programs such as Microsoft Office and Paint Shop Pro on Windows OS, POPeye simulates detailed transactions between a CPU and a memory system. Using this tool, we comparatively analyzed the performance of a DDR-SDRAM, a D-RDRAM, and a DDR-FCRAM.

명태단백 Pronase 가수분해물의 제조 (Preparation of Pronase Hydrolysate from Alaska-pollack)

  • In order to enhance the utility of alaska-pollack, the optimum conditions for the preparation of pronase hydrolysate. The optimum temperature and pH for the hydrolysis of alaska-pollack by pronase were 4$0^{\circ}C$ and pH 7.0. The reaction time and enzyme concentration were 4 hr and 1,000 units per g of substrate. Under the above optimum conditions alaska-pollack was hydrolysed by pronase yielding a hydrolytic degree of about 89eye. The bitterness and hyrophobicity of pronase hydrolysate were decreased with increasing reaction time. Hydrophobic amino acids(Tyr, Met, Ala, flu, Leu, and Phe) were increased for 2 hr, but fur thor hydrolysis was showed decrease of hydrophobic amino acids content. Palatable amino acids (Asp, Glu, Pro, Ser, Thr and Gly) were increased with hydrolysis time.

비장애 아동의 한글쓰기 숙련도와 시선고정 간의 관련성 (The Relationship Between Korean Handwriting Skill and Visual Fixation)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 비장애 아동을 대상으로 한글쓰기 숙련도가 시선고정에 반영되는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 만 7-9세 비장애 아동 21명이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 아동들은 Tobii Pro Glasses 2를 착용하고 10개 단어로 구성된 한글쓰기 과제를 수행하였다. 글자 크기 변이계수로 글씨쓰기 숙련도를 측정하였고, 시선추적장치에서 기록된 시선 위치 자료로부터 시선고정 빈도를 추출하였다. 글자 크기 변이계수와 시선고정 빈도 간의 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 세로크기 변이계수는 초당 시선고정 빈도와 정적으로 유의미한 상관을 나타냈다 (r = .459, p < .05). 이는, 글자 세로크기를 일관되게 쓰는 아동은 시선을 적은 위치에 고정함을 의미한다. 결론 : 본 연구는 비장애 아동을 대상으로 한글쓰기 수행과 시선고정 간의 관련성을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 한글쓰기 수행 동안 시선 움직임을 측정한 첫 시도로 향후 한글쓰기 발달 연구의 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

폴더형 캡의 투명 토스터 모델링 (Modeling for Transparent Toaster with a Cap of Folding Type)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 전형적인 토스터가 갖는 개방된 출입구로 인한 열손실 발생, 이물질의 투입, 빵을 구운 정도를 확인할 수 없음에 대한 소비자 불만족 등의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 새로운 방식의 토스터인 폴더형 캡을 갖는 투명 토스터에 대한 모델링을 연구하였다. 먼저 1차 모델링을 수행하였으며, 이어서 RP제작을 통하여 모델링에 서 확인하지 못한 문제점을 수정 및 보완하여 2차 모델링을 수행하였다. 2차 모델링에서는 메커니즘분석을 통해 홀더 간섭을 확인하여 수정하였고, 이어서 3D 모델링, 어셈블리, 시뮬레이션 분석을 통하여 폴더형 캡의 기능을 갖는 투명 토스터를 최종 모델링하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 3D 모델링 툴은 Pro/Engineer 4.0이며, 설계된 모델링은 폴더형 캡 의 기능을 갖추어 열손실을 최소화하고, 투명한 외부케이스로 구성되어 빵 굽는 과정을 육안으로 확인하게 함으로써 심미적 만족도를 향상시키는 기능을 갖춘 폴더형 캡의 투명 토스터이다.

수용성약물의 안점막 투과기전에 관한 연구: 토끼의 각막 및 결막 세포간극경로의 투과촉진 (Ocular transport of hydrophilic drugs: Enhancement of the paracellular penetration across cornea and conjunctiva in the rabbit)

  • The objective of this study was to determine whether 4-phenylazobezyloxycarbonyl-Pro-Leu-Gly-Pro-D-Arg (Pz-peptide), an enhancer of hydrophilic solute permeability in the intestine, could elevate the paracellular permeability of hydrophilic drugs across cornea and conjunctiva in the rabbit. The in-vitro penetration of hydrophilic drugs (mannitol, atenolol) and lipophilic drug (propranolol) across the rabbit cornea and conjunctiva was studied either in the presence or absence of 3 mM Pz-peptide. Drug penetration was evaluated using the modified Ussing chamber. The conjunctiva was more permeable than the cornea to all drugs. Pz-peptide showed enhanced effects on the drug transport across cornea and conjunctiva in a concentration dependent manner. Effects or ion transport inhibitor on the mannitol penetration were then investigated. Mannitol penetration was not changed by serosal addition of $100\;{\mu}M$ ouabain, suggesting that $Na^+/K^+$ ion tranporter was not involved in the Pz-peptide induced elevation of paracellular drug permeability. Furthermore, effects of Pz-peptide and EDTA on the transport of atenolol and propranolol into the ocular tissues or blood circulation after its administration into both eyes were investigated. EDTA showed enhanced effect on propranolol transport into the ocular tissues, but Pz-peptide did not show significant difference. Systemic absorption of propranolol by the addition of EDTA or Pz-peptide was not changed. On the other hand, EDTA and Pz-peptide elavated the atenolol transport into the ocular tissues. The transport of atenolol into the blood circulation was also enhanced by the addition of EDTA, but no effect was observed by the addition of Pz-peptide. The above findings suggest that Pz-peptide would be used as an paracellular pathway enahncer of hydrophilic drugs into the eye, without affecting the systemic absortion of topically applied opthalmic drugs.

뷰티 트랜드에 따른 화장 이미지 유형별 화장색채와 질감 변화 분석 (A Study on the Changes in the Make-up Color and Texture by the Type of Make-up Image Shown in the Beauty Trends)

  • This study aims to investigate makeup images shown in the beauty trends and analyzes the characteristics of makeup colors depending on the types of facial makeup. This survey's collected data includes a total of 365 makeup colors which have been shown in the beauty trends for the last three years. The pictures and vocabularies shown in such data were analyzed and thus we could have classificatorily six kinds of makeup images. In addition, makeup colors were divided into two subcategories: eye makeup and lip makeup, both of which have the most significant impact on the makeup images. As the results, the types of makeup images shown at beauty trends were classified such as natural image, gorgeous image, elegant image, sophisticate image, and romantic image. If analyzing yearly changes, active, romantic, and elegant images were common in 2008, and natural image displayed a certain strong tendency amid pro-environmental trends in 2009, and gorgeous images were appeared apparently in 2010, while natural image showed a bullish tendency yet. Regarding to color characteristics by makeup images shown at beauty trends, YR color in eye makeup and R in lip makeup looked bullish generally, and a lot of changes were shown in color tones. This fact gives help in grasping fashion colors and color tones of yearly makeups. Based on these results, this study examines makeup colors for expressing makeup images closely, and then suggests that it could be utilized in makeup color planning.

Periventricular nodular heterotopia in a child with a mild Mowat-Wilson phenotype caused by a novel missense mutation of ZEB2

  • Periventricular nodular heterotopia (PNH) is a malformation of cortical development in which normal neurons inappropriately cluster in periventricular areas. Patients with Mowat-Wilson syndrome (MWS) typically present with facial gestalt, complex neurologic problems (e.g., severe developmental delay with marked speech impairment and epilepsy), and multiple anomalies (e.g., Hirschsprung disease, urogenital anomalies, congenital heart defects, eye anomalies, and agenesis of the corpus callosum [CC]). MWS is mostly caused by haploinsufficiency of the gene encoding zinc-finger E-box-binding homeobox 2 (ZEB2) due to premature stops or large deletions. We present a case report of a 9-year-old girl with PNH, drug-responsive epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, and facial dysmorphisms only in whom we performed whole-exome sequencing and found a de novo heterozygous missense mutation (c.3134A>C; p.His1045Pro) of ZEB2 (NM_014795.3; NP_055610.1). This mild case of MWS caused by a rare novel missense mutation of ZEB2 represents the first report of MWS with isolated PNH.

  • This paper is about the development of surface inspection of bearing inner and outer race using machine vision. Before this system is developed, most inspections are performed by workers' naked eye. To improve both the inconvenience and incorrectness, another new tester is introduced. This system has the three sections mainly. First one is the mechanism section which transfers bearing manufactured from previous process line to the testing process in plant. Another is the inspection system which is composed of two parts: computer vision and measurement system using laser diode which inspects the defects of the bearing inner or outer race. The other is the pneumatic cylinder part controlled by Programmable Logic Controller(PLC). The system which is developed shows favorable results, and that has the advantage of convenience and correctness compared to previous system.
