민간병원과 공공병원 직원들의 노동조합몰입수준 비교분석 (Comparison of Commitment in Labor Union Employees' in the Private Hospitals and Public Hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials needed to enhance quality of organizational life by identifying the improvements of labor union management in the perspective of hospital organization management. Materials were collected from administrators, nurses and medical technicians in target hospitals from March 3 to March 3 to March 30, 2010 through survey questionnaires. The main results of this study were as follows: 1. The commitment level of the subjects according to their satisfaction was higher when the administrators both in Private hospitals and Public hospitals were not satisfied in their works. 2. The commitment level of the subjects according to the subjects' job dedication level was higher those who had higher emotional attachment to their job in all vocations in both Private hospitals and Public hospitals. 3. The commitment level of the subjects according to the subjects' labor union involvement was higher in those who had higher satisfaction in labor union and perceived their colleagues' attitudes more positively in all vocations in both Private Hospitals and Public Hospitals. 4. From the results of multiple regression analysis to identify major influencing factors of labor union commitment level, In Private hospital employees, those who had senior officer posts in labor union and higher normative commitment showed higher commitment union. Therefore hospital managers should have democratic and flexible attitudes toward labor union. Additionally, as colleagues attitudes is important determinant in union commitment, hospital managers should have countermeasures to enhance the work atmosphere of hospital employees.

전통사회 여성의 사적(私的) 영역과 공적(公的) 영역에서의 노동 -삼국시대부터 조선시대까지 - (Women′s Labor in Private and Public Spheres in Traditional Korean Societies -From the Three Kingdom Period to the Chosen Dyansty-)

  • This study was carried out to investigate women's labor in the private and public spheres in traditional societies from the Three Kingdom Period to the Chosen Dynasty. This study is based on review of historical literature. It was found that women in the traditional societies from the Three Kingdom Period to the Chosen Dynasty worked not only in private places, such as in households as housewives, but also as slaves in public places such as government offices. Also, women as housewives worked not only to fulfill private needs, but also to pay taxes. In this sense, women in traditional societies participated in labor force in the public arena, not unlike women in industrialized societies who participate in labor market. This research provides a piece of counterevidence against the general belief that women in traditional societies only conducted private housework at home. Therefore this study suggests that we need to rethink gender roles in traditional societies.

아웃소싱 공급 제조업체 관련 해외 민간주도의 노동기준인증제도에 관한 탐색적 조사 (An Exploratory Study on Foreign Labor Standards Accreditation Systems on Outsourcing Manufacturing Firms)

  • Recently, foreign labor standards accreditation system has been emerged as more firms outsource manufacturing works to global vendors focused manufacturing. This paper discuss and compare three major private labor accreditation systems and evaluate what kind of problems may emerge if they become the major global standards for labor practices. This paper concludes that private labor standards accreditation system needs more transparency in the process and should improve accountability by including other stakeholders in the process.

시큐리티 요원의 규칙적인 운동참여 활동이 감정노동과 피로도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Labor on Fatigue Scale of Private Security Guards in Regular Exercise)

  • 본 연구는 규칙적인 운동참여 시큐리티요원의 감정노동이 피로도에 미치는 영향을 규명하여 시큐리티 산업의 핵심인 시큐리티 종사원의 복지 및 근무환경을 개선하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하려는 목적으로 진행하였다. 시큐리티요원 260명의 설문응답을 최종 분석 자료로 사용하였으며 SPSS Windows 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 요인분석, t-test, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석의 통계적 검정을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 규칙적으로 운동에 참여하는 시큐리티요원이 운동에 참여하지 않는 시큐리티요원보다 피로도의 하위변인 즉, 신체적, 소진, 신경계의 피로가 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 시큐리티요원의 감정노동의 하위변인 즉, 내면행동이 높아질수록 피로도는 낮아지고, 표면행동이 높아질수록 피로도는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 시큐리티요원의 규칙적인 운동참여 활동이 감정노동을 낮추고, 피로를 개선시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

가계의 재무구조가 사교육비지출에 미치는 영향 - 소득계층별 접근연구 - (The Effect of Household Financial System on Private Education Expenses - Focused on Income Classification -)

  • This study is to investigate the important factor for household private education expenditure. Especially, this study analyzed the influence of financial management characteristics. For this, the income level is classified by comparative poverty and analyzed the influence power The data for this study was "the Korean Labor Panel" conducted by Korea Labor Institute in 2000. The result showed the demographic factors by the income level and financial characteristics have big difference. Also, income level affects private education expenditure. For lower income level, demographic factors affect more than financial factors. This result explained the private education expenditure as luxurious goods. For middle income level, financial factors affect more than demographic factors. This explained the private education expenditure as choice goods. For upper income level, the private education expenditure was explained as investment goods.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 노동시장의 구조 변화에 따라 급속히 성장한 성인을 대상으로 하는 사교육 시장의 공간적 분포 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 사교육의 대표적 기관인 사설학원의 수강생 중 성인을 대상으로 직업별(대학생, 직업인, 무직), 학력수준별(초졸, 중 고졸, 대졸)로 범주를 세분화하여 각 범주의 카테고리에 속하는 성인 학원수강생의 분포 특징을 분석하였다. 또한 이들의 지역별 분포 패턴에서 나타나는 공간적 함의를 파악하고자 Moran's I 값을 통해 공간적 자기상관성을 판별하였고, $G^*$통계량을 통한 핫스팟(Hot spot) 분석을 실시하여 공간적 군집 여부를 확인하였다. 아울러 학원유형별 성인 학원수강생의 분포와 인구 및 사회 경제적 설명변수와의 관계 도출을 위해 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구는 다양한 노동통계, 교육통계 지표를 제시함으로써 노동시장의 구조 변화와 성인을 대상으로 하는 사교육 시장의 관계에 대한 이해를 도모하였다.

돌봄/가사노동의 소외와 여성 공간 -도리스 레씽의 「19호실」과 제임스 조이스의 「이블린」 (The Alienation of Caring and Domestic Labor and Woman's Space: Doris Lessing's "To Room Nineteen" and James Joyce's "Evelyne")

  • Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri find in women's caring/domestic labor a potential for producing affects, relationships, and forms of communication and cooperation in the family and in the community. Caring/domestic labor in their view is biopolitical in that it directly produces social relationship and forms of life. In this way, they contributed in deconstructing the fixed idea that women's caring/domestic labors are confined to the private domain rather than public one. The literary representations of women's caring/ domestic labor, however, have tended to emphasize its repetitive and confining attributes to private domains and the accompanying physical and mental alienation. Doris Lessing's "To Room Nineteen" and James Joyce's "Eveline" are the examples. "To Room Nineteen," an indirect manifestation of Doris Lessing's position as a Communist, criticizes the sexual distinction of domestic labor under Capitalistic ethic and describes the possible extinction of women's subjects who internalize the capitalistic ideology of bourgeois middle class nuclear family. "Eveline," the fourth work of Joyce's Dubliners, is another example to show the negative result of internalization of Catholic orthodox in which women are obligated to care and sacrifice specially through domestic and caring labor.

산업안전보건법의 한계와 민간기준의 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Legal Limits of Occupational Safety & Health Law and Application of Private Standards)

  • Objectives: The present system of occupational safety and health law gives priority to traditional command and control regulations. However, this may give rise to problems such as the delay of standard-setting and shortages of human resources. The aim of this study is to examine the usability of private standards in occupational safety and health systems. Materials: After the limits of occupational safety and health law were examined, an application plan for private norms (EN, as enforced in the EU) and occupational safety and health management systems (OSHMS) was investigated. Results: The utilization of private norms and OSHMS may address the limits of the current legal system. In particular, OSHMS is known internationally as a measure for achieving improvements in overall occupational safety and health performance. As a result, occupational safety and health law and private norms/OSHMS are complementary to one another. Conclusions: Even though the utilization of private standards may give rise to legal questions, such standards as complementary measures to traditional command and control regulations need to be utilized progressively in occupational safety and health systems.

영유아의 교육 및 보육기관 이용과 기관유형선택에 영향을 미치는 사회인구학적 요인 (Use of Early Childhood Care Centers and the Sociodemographic Factors of Choosing an Institute)

  • The purpose of this study is to offer essential information related to early childhood education and care policy. Using the Korea Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS) Vol.5., this study analyzed sociodemographic factors that decide the use and type of institute for early childhood education and care. The following results are obtained: First, it is not easy for young children under three years old to use education and care institutes because of their preference for home care. Second, the mother's job status affects the child's use of child care centers and private institutes for education except for the using of early child education centers. Third, the affecting main factors for the use of child care centers are quite similar to critical factors for use of the private institute for education. Thus, young children using the private institute for education could be interpreted as coming from a low-income class compared with the children using the early child education centers.

다극화 지수와 지니 계수를 이용한 사교육비 양극화 추이 분석 (A Longitudinal Analysis of Private Tutoring Expenditure in KLIPS Using A Polarization Index and Gini Coefficient)

  • 본 연구는 한국노동패널조사(Korean labor and income panel study, KLIPS)의 2001년부터 2016년까지의 자료를 활용하여 사교육비 지출 격차에 대한 추이분석을 하는데 목적이 있다. 최종 분석대상은 해당 년도마다 한국노동패널 조사에 참여한 전국의 약 1,300개에서부터 1,800개 가구이다. 분석을 통한 주요 연구결과를 보면, 2001년도 이후 사교육비 지출은 계속적으로 늘었으며, 5분위 집단으로 나눈 집단간 비교에서도 사교육비 지출에 격차가 크게 존재하는 것으로 분석되었다. 특히 사교육비 지출에서 사교육비 지출이 적은 1분위의 사교육비 지출비용은 월평균 10만원에 머무르고 있는데 반해서 사교육비 지출이 많은 5분위의 사교육비 지출비용은 월평균 100만원을 넘은 것으로 분석되었다. 사교육비 지출 1분위와 5분위의 사교육비 지출격차는 지속적으로 늘어나 최근 11배에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 2016년 이후 사교육비 양극화 추이를 브라운지수평활방법을 이용해 5년간을 예측한 결과는 사교육비 양극화가 더욱 확대될 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구결과를 바탕으로 사교육비에 대한 교육정책 수립과 후속연구를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
