Though South Korea has world-class volume of Venture Capital Investment, as a share of GDP, early stage venture investments are still short, and investments are concentrated in high technology area and Capital area. Because of the high barriers to entry of the new IPO and M&A market, the venture capital companies undergo difficulties in profit. High-tech ventures face difficulties in raising money from outside investors due to information asymmetry between venture investors and venture companies. To resolve these problems, developed countries's government make a co-funding investment scheme with private sectors and design incentive mechanism such as receiving knowledge of the reputable investors' joint venture. Korean central and local government can benchmark those of things. For example, the expansion of the investment volume with private sector, region-specific matching fund and venture capital's exit path diversification such as M&A through the establishment of a business venture eco-system. At the same time, venture companies are to make an efforts to enhance the ability of screening for venture companies and the value for investment activities through a joint venture investments.

The private brands (PB) of corporate retailers are booming in Korea. This paper examines the effect of the rise of PB on Korean retail and manufacturing. By utilizing both store-level data and firm-level data, I find that the expansion of PB elevates the profits of corporate retailers but does not significantly affect, and in some cases even reduces, those of subcontracting manufacturers. This occurs not only because sales of national brands (NB) decline due to the launch of similar PBs but also because the imbalance in the bargaining positions of the two parties has caused retail margins to be set high while manufacturers' operating profits are set low. The paper provides policy recommendations for fair contracts and cooperative development between retail and manufacturing companies.
In the 1980s, private security was established in the framework of institutional framework with the Security Industry Act which was enacted in 1976. The agents who brought in the development of the private sector in 1980 enjoyed a boom in the global economy, affected by its high-flying dollar value, low international interest rate, low oil prices, and the blooming economy. In addition, the semiconductor, computers and communications equipment that was promoted in accordance with the e-Literacy plan were raised. Following the economic development of various events such as Seoul International Trade Fair, "86 Asian Games," and "88 Seoul Olympic Games," private security expenses were enhanced by increasing awareness of civilian expenses. Also, in the 1980s, Korean investment in foreign companies, including Japan's Secom, or Korean technology, brought many changes to the private security. Meanwhile, the cost of security, which has been centered around human expenses, has brought about the era of mechanized spending, or machine security expenses. The purpose of this study is to systematically analyze the social environment surrounding the private security in the 1980s and systematically analyze the important factors that contribute to private security.
The U.S. security regulation is under the influence of each state's law; however, they are mostly similar. Among many states which has the longest history of security regulation in the U.S., state of New York has been shown security regulation for a long time. The state of New York has been emphasized the importance of security significantly because it is economically, culturally, and internationally important place at the same time. New York's state law of security business includes: 1. private investigators and bail enforcement agents and watch, guard or patrol agencies license law. 2. Security guard act of 1992~,3. Title 19 New York State's code of rules and regulation (NYCRR). The law of New York City's private security could inspire Korean private security law in many ways. First, administration of professional law and variety of licensure could be an inspiration to the Korean security services. Second, there are intimate partnership between police and private security in the U.S. New York police's private security partnership has been started since 1986 by Area Police/Private Security Liaison (APPL program) and there are about 1,300 of security companies participating.
