베트남 민화연구 서설 (An Introduction to Vietnamese Folk Paintings)

  • This paper offers a brief introduction to Vietnamese folk paintings. The discussion compares Vietnamese folk paintings with the Korean folk painting tradition. Among the main purposes of this paper is the exploration of directions for future research on Vietnamese folk paintings. Vietnamese folk paintings, although extensively influenced by their Chinese tradition of minjian nianhua (folk New Year pictures), form an independent tradition, reflecting the local lifestyle and religious practices of Vietnam. However, compared to Korea or Japan, China remains the dominant source of influence for Vietnamese folk paintings. They were either created using a combination of painting and woodblock printing techniques, which was also the case with minjian nianhua, or using multicolor woodblock printing techniques. In cities like Hang Chong, the combination of painting and woodblock printing techniques was used mainly, following the customary practice in Yangliuqing in Tianjin, China, in which colors were added to the drawing printed from the woodblock. Meanwhile, folk paintings produced in rural areas such as Dong Ho are wholly color woodblock prints, similar to minjian nianhua from Yangjiabu in Weifang. In Lang Sinh, simple drawings, intended for casual purposes, were also created using the combination of woodblock printing and painting techniques. Folk paintings produced in cities and rural areas were distinct from each other, not just in techniques, but also in terms of style and theme. Vietnamese folk paintings show a certain degree of thematic similarity with Joseon folk paintings. This is mainly due to the fact that the two countries' folk paintings developed and evolved in parallel with their Chinese counterparts, minjian nianhua. Also noteworthy is the fact that Vietnamese folk paintings, while they share the simplicity and candidness of Joseon folk paintings, are at the same time somewhat more decorative than the latter. For best results, future research on Vietnamese folk paintings should be conducted together with research on minjian nianhua. Traditional pigments constitute an important area of research in this field. Attention should be also paid to the religious paintings of ethnic minorities in Vietnam, as they are discovered in the future.

R2R 그라비어 오프-셋 인쇄공정에서의 동기화 오차에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Synchronization Error in R2R Gravure Off-set Printing Process)

  • Recently, there are many issues about R2R printing technique for mass production of electronic devices. Among the various Roll-to-roll based printing techniques such as gravure, off-set, flexo and so on, "Gravure off-set printing technique" has an advantage of higher printing resolution. The printing unit of gravure off-set printing technique usually consists of plate roll, blanket roll and impressure roll whose. Linear velocities should be synchronized each other for fine pattern printing. However, roller's manufacturing error and printing variations such as pringting pressure, printing speed, roll stroke and so on actually affected their synchronization anf thus the quality of fine fattern. In this paper, we analyzed the effective of synchronization error on printing quality. Also, this paper reviews the relative motion with each roll. And, this paper studys the synchronization error about its generation problem.

  • We report simple techniques to manufacture low-powered, high-resolution, reflective cholesteric displays using flexible plastic substrates. We use wax transfer printing to replace photo-lithography and incorporate polymer walls to increase the mechanical strength and lifetime of the displays. These printing methods can easily be adapted to roll-to-roll production.

  • Scanning head has used to detect the error signal in register controller. However the resolution of the system is not enough for E-printing(Electronic-paper printing). In this paper, the register mark shapes and process techniques are studied using a smart camera which can detect the register mark and calculate the printing error. With these, a register controller within 10[um] of error range is developed for e-printing system and confirmed with experiments.

  • 현대 도자예술은 다양한 표현기법을 가지고 있다. 그 중에서 현대사회의 디지털화로 인하여 전사기법이 발전하게 되었고 전사기법은 현대도예의 표현매체로 활용되어지고 있다. 그러나 전사기법은 단순히 획일적이며 대량생산을 위한 현장에서의 적극적 활용에 비해 소공예 작가들이 전사기법을 활용해 그들의 작품에 응용할 예술적, 이론적인 충분한 정보를 주지 못하고 있다. 이에. 본 논문에서는 전사기법의 의미를 이해하고 작가의 개성과 예술성을 전사기법으로 표현한 현대 도예작가들의 작품을 고찰해 봄으로써 전사기법이 현대도예의 표현 매체로 도자공예의 미적 예술적 효과를 높일 수 있으며 좀 더 고부가가치 산업으로 자리매김 할 수 있는 토대를 마련하고자 한다.

Fabrication Techniques for Carbon Nanotube Field Emitters by Screen Printing

  • The carbon nanotube emitters for field emission displays were fabricated by screen printing techniques. The pastes for screen printing are composed of organic binders, carbon nanotubes, and some additive materials. Then the pastes were printed on Cr-coated/Ag-printed soda-lime glass substrates. From the I-V characteristics, the turn-on field of SWNT was lower than that of MWNT. The decrease in the mesh size of screen masks resulted in decreasing the turn-on field and increasing the electron emission current. When the carbon nanotubes were mixed with glass frit, glass frit appeared to contribute to the vertically aligning of carbon nanotubes on glass.

  • Inkjet printing has become one of the most attractive manufacturing techniques in industry. Especially inkjet printing technology will soon be part of the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) fabrication processes. Traditional printing on PCB includes screen printing and photolithography. These technologies involve high costs, time-consuming procedures and several process steps. However, by inkjet technology manufacturing time and production costs can be reduced, and procedures can be more efficient. PCB manufacturers therefore willingly accept this inkjet technology to the PCB industry, and are quickly shifting from conventional to inkjet printing. To produce the printed circuit board by the inkjet technology, it must be harmonized with conductive nano ink, printing process, system, and inkjet printhead. In this study, micro patterning of conductive line has been investigated using the piezoelectric printhead driven by a bipolar voltage signal is used to dispense 20-40 ${\mu}m$ diameter droplets and silver nano ink which consists of 1 to 50 nm silver particles that are homogeneously suspended in an organic carrier. To fabricate a conductive line used in PCB with high precision, a printed line width was calculated and compared with printing results.

3D프린팅 기술의 건축분야 활용 동향과 경제성에 관한 연구 (Study of Trends in The Architecture and The Economic Efficiency of 3D Printing Technology)

  • 본 연구는 최근 사회적으로 대두되고 있는 3D 프린팅 기술에 대하여 고찰하고, 건축적인 활용 방안을 모색함에 있어 활용 방안과 경제적인 관점에서 비교 및 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이는 근접한 미래에 3D 프린팅 기술에 의해 생산, 유통 등의 전반적인 패러다임의 변화가 예상되고, 건축분야 역시 그 변화의 흐름을 맞을 것이다. 이에 3D 프린팅 기술의 건축에서 활용 방안을 모색함은 앞으로 3D 프린팅 기술로 인하여 바뀌는 건축환경에 대하여 대비하기 위함이다. 본 연구를 위하여 3D 프린팅 기술의 현황과 건축에서 사용되는 3D 프린팅 기술에 대하여 조사하고, 3D 프린팅 기술의 건축적 활용 방식과 현재 시공 방식을 경제적인 부분에서 비교 분석 하였다. 현재 건축분야에서의 3D 프린팅 활용기술은 아직 실용화 단계이나, 현재의 시공 방식과 경제성으로 비교해 보면, 전체 비용을 낮출 수 있으며, 향후 기술의 발전과 더불어 이러한 비용은 더욱 감소될 것으로 보인다. 이에 따라서 앞으로 3D 프린팅 기술의 건축적 활용 방안에 대한 지속적인 기술 개발 및 관심이 필요하다.

  • Printed thin-film transistors (TFTs) have received profound interests as an alternative to their silicon counterparts for use in fabricating next-Gen microelectronics by virtue of projected low manufacturing cost and certain salient features (e.g., thin and lightweight characteristics, structural flexibility, etc.) that printed TFTs bring to device architecture. The economic advantages stem from engaging low-cost printing techniques (e.g., screen printing, gravure, flexography, etc.) for deposition and patterning in place of traditionally costly high-vacuum, high-temperature photolithographic processes. To render printing TFTs possible, solution processable materials are necessary.

The pastes were printed on Cr-coated/Ag-printed soda-lime glass substrates. From the I-V characteristics, the turn-on field of SWNT was lower than that of MWNT. The decrease in the mesh size of screen masks (i.e. increase in the opening size of the screen mesh) resulted in decreasing the turn-on field and increasing the electron emission current. When the carbon nanotubes were mixed with silver pastes, silver powders appeared to contribute to the vertically aligning of carbon nanotubes on a glass.
