디지털 프린터의 보안기능 시험/평가방법론 개발 (Development Testing/Evaluating Methods about Security Functions based on Digital Printer)

  • 현재 기업 및 공공기관에서 주로 사용하고 있는 디지털 프린터는 출력을 비롯하여 복사, 스캔, 팩스 등의 다양한 기능을 통합한 복합 기기로서, 최근에는 산업기술 유출 방지를 위해서 중요 데이터 유출 방지를 위한 보안기능을 구현하고 있다. 이에 일본과 미국에서는 일찍이 디지털 프린터에 대한 공통평가기준(CC, Common Criteria) 평가 인증을 진행하고 있으며, 국내에서도 최근부터 공공기관에 납품되는 제품에 대해 보안적합성 검증을 의무화하고 CC 평가 인증을 시작하고 있다. 하지만, 국내에서는 디지털 프린터에 대한 평가 지식이 부족하여 공통평가기준평가를 준비하는 개발자 및 평가자가 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 차기 평가 수요가 예측되는 디지털 프린터의 보안기능 기반기술 시험방법 및 평가요소기술에 대한 확보가 절실한 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국내 외 주요 업체들의 디지털 프린터에 포함되어 있는 보안 기능 및 개발 동향을 분석하고, 각 보안기능별 특성을 파악하여 디지털 프린터 보안기능 평가 및 취약성 시험 방법에 대한 가이드라인을 제시한다.

  • 디지털화가 가속되면서 학교나 도서관 등 공공기관에서 디지털 정보의 이용이 증가하고 있으며 프린트 서비스의 요구도 점점 증가하고 있다. 많은 서비스 가운데 공공 PC에서 프린트 서비스를 이용할 시 사용료를 지불하도록 해야 하는데 관리자에게는 꽤나 까다로운 업무이다. 이러한 까다로운 업무를 자동화할 수 있도록 하는 프린트 관리 시스템이 개발되어 현재 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 현재 공공기관의 공공PC에서 사용되고 있는 프린터 관리 시스템의 취약성을 분석하였는데 공공 PC 관리자 및 프린터 관리 솔루션 개발자들의 보안의식과 보안개발에 대한 인식은 아직 많은 부분이 부족한 것으로 보인다.

3D 프린터를 이용한 마이크로 리액터 가공에 관한 연구 (Fabrication of Micro-reactor by 3D Printing Machine)

  • A 3D printer was used to fabricate a micro-TAS system for biomedical applications. A polymeric medical device fabrication based on a 3D printer can be performed at atmospheric conditions. A CAD- and CAM-based system is a flexible method to design medical components, and a 3D printer is a suitable device to perform this task. In this research, a 100-micron-wide fluidic channel was fabricated with a high-aspect ratio. A cross-sectional SEM image confirmed its possible usage in a micro-reactor using 3D printers. CNC-machined samples were compared to 3D printer-fabricated samples, and the advantages and disadvantages were discussed. Based on the SEM images, the surface roughness of the 3D printed reactor was not affected by wet or dry conditions due to its manufacturing principle. An aspect ratio of 5 to 1 was achievable with 100-${\mu}$ m-wide fluid channels. No melting was found, and the shape of channels was straight enough to be used for micro reactors.

Image-Quality Enhancement for a Holographic Wavefront Color Printer by Adaptive SLM Partitioning

  • The wavefront printer records a volume-reflection hologram as a two-dimensional array of elemental holograms from computer-generated holograms (CGHs) displayed on a spatial light modulator (SLM). The wavefront coming from the object is extracted by filtering in the spatial-frequency domain. This paper presents a method to improve color reproduction in a wavefront printer with spatial division of exposures at primary colors, by adaptive partitioning of the SLM in accordance with the color content encoded in the input CGHs, and by the controllable change of exposure times for the recording of primary colors. The method is verified with a color wavefront printer with demagnification of the object beam. The quality of reconstruction achieved by the proposed method proves its efficiency in eliminating the stripe artifacts that are superimposed on reconstructed images in conventional mosaic recording.

  • In recent years the industry has utilized some of the 3D printers in the manufacturing process a trend which spread also a personal desktop 3D printer priced. The 3D printer can create the 3D object by using an ink or a laser instead of the powders, and various liquid plastic material. Properties of 3D printers are liquid, solid, powder and raw materials are also classified as varied. New ideas and processes in the form of designer furniture, becoming increasingly evolved through the development of materials and technologies. Science, art and technology combine to create a new aesthetic for the complex and free binding structure is a combination of design and materials are available in craft and the structure appears not showing. 3D scanning was not simply continue to develop as the production process by a variety of tools and content transformation. Create new mathematical tables and chairs designed by the theory fit the digital age shows a coupling structure with decoration into small pieces. It has created a new craft technique in the digital age.

머신비전을 이용한 PCB 스크린인쇄기의 정렬오차측정 및 위치보정 (1) (Measurement and Correction of PCB Alignment Error for Screen Printer Using Machine Vision (1))

  • This paper presents the measurement and correction method of PCB alignment errors for PCB screen printer. Electronic equipment is getting smaller and yet must satisfy high performance standard. Therefore, there is a great demand for PCB with high density. However conventional PCB screen printer doesn't have enough accuracy to accommodate the demand fur high-resolution circuit pattern and high-density mounting capacity of electronic chips. It is because the alignment errors of PCB occur when it is loaded to the screen printer. Therefore, this study focuses on the development of the system which is able to measure and correct alignment errors with high-accuracy. An automatic optical inspection part measures the PCB alignment errors using machine vision, and the high-accuracy 3-axis stage makes correction for these errors. This system used two CCD cameras to get images of two fiducial marks of PCB. The geometrical relationship between PCB, cameras, and xy$\theta$ stage is derived, and analytical equations for alignment errors are also obtained. The unknown parameters including camera declining angles and etc. can be obtained by initialization process. Finally, the proposed algorithm is verified by experiments by using test bench.

3D 프린터를 사용한 정밀 스테이지의 제작 (Fabrication of Piezo-Driven Micropositioning Stage using 3D printer)

  • This paper presents the design, optimization and fabrication of a piezo driven micro-positioning stage constructed using a 3D-printer. 3D printing technology provides many advantageous aspects in comparison to traditional manufacturing techniques allowing more rapid prototyping freedom in design, etc. Micro-positioning stages have traditionally been made using metal materials namely aluminum. This paper investigates the possibility of fabricating stages using ABS material with a 3D printer. CAE simulations show that equivalent motion amplification can be achieved compared to a traditional aluminum fabricated stage while the maximum stress is 30 times less. This leads to the possibility of stages with higher magnification factors and less load on the driving piezo element. Experiment results agree with the simulation results. A micro-position stage was fabricated using a 3D printer with ABS material. The motion amplification is very linear and 50 nm stepping was demonstrated.

  • 현재 사용 중인 프린터의 토너에 부착된 토너 잔량 검출 회로는 PCB 회로기판을 사용함으로써 부피가 비교적 큰 상태이므로 보다 경량 소형화된 프린트에 사용하기에는 부적합하다. 본 연구에서는 이와같은 소형화된 회로를 one chip함으로써 경쟁력이 있는 제품을 개발한다. 2005년 이후 출시 된 프린터에 사용되는 토너에는 칩이 필수적으로 부착되어야 한다. 따라서 앞으로의 재생시장에서 사용될 칩의 수요는 점점 커질 것이다. 세계적인 레이저 프린터 메이커들이 프린터에서 사용되는 토너카트리지의 정보를 관리하여 고객 서비스를 한다는 취지로 프린터에 부착되는 칩으로 인해 재생토너의 생산이 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 재생토너를 생산하기 위해 필수적으로 부착되는 칩을 개발한다.

  • Recently, various researches on materials and equipment have been actively conducted to overcome the limitations of conventional output methods due to the increase of diversity of 3D printing materials and to adopt an output method suitable for the characteristics of each material. As the range applicable to outputable materials is expanded, manufacturing of medical devices applied to patients is in a more rapid growth trend than other fields. In this study, we investigated the suitable materials for fabricating 3D printer using photocurable resin. As a result, one suitable material was selected through biological safety experiment and thermal stability experiment. Next, to optimize the output of the selected materials, we have developed a system that optimizes the equipment according to the characteristics of the material. The results of this study enabled the implementation of personalized medical implants that could not be made from 3D printer dependent materials, thereby overcoming the limitations of existing 3D printer output conditions and dedicated materials.

Design of STEAM Education Process applying 3D Printer for Computational Thinking

  • Many practitioners in educational field, recently, are seeking to improve Computational Thinking through SW education. The purpose of this paper was, for promotion of SW education, to design the STEAM education process utilizing 3D printer. The project-based education process emphasized the cooperation in the process of producing common results and proposed a new STEAM education process. The designed products are expected to be used in the elementary school classes by linking with the camp and teacher training programs and the curriculum.
