The daily life activities of primary school children have been increasingly diversified. This research examined the spatio-temporal characteristics of primary school children's daily life activities. The time allocation of primary school children's daily activities was monotonous. They tended to spend most of their time in school activities, private lessons after school, and studying at home. The daily trip to school has been diversified as the result the of increase in the number of double-income families, car owners, facilities for pastime, and educational facilities for private lessons after school. The selection of educational facilities for private lessons was strongly influenced by accessibility to the residence because of the limited time budget of primary school children and the controlled trip behavior by parents. The leisure activities were considered as a minor function and took place in the interval of performances of study-related activities. The high proportion of leisure activities was found in the indoor play. The amount of the time for leisure activity was very insufficient. The spatial range and time budget were strongly influenced by the institutional conditions of parents.
The mash of Takjoo, Korean flour wine, is fermented through two brewing processes ; the primary brewing process to saccharify and the main one to produce ethyl alcohol. The activities of acid proteinase (pH3), weak acid proteinase (pH 6), and alkaline proteinase (Ph 80 on the processes are determined with time by the Folin phenol method as a strength of casein digestion. Hydrogen ion concentration, the content of total organic acids, protein, free amino acids and oligopeptides, which effect the activities of proteinase, are also measured. The results are briefly summarized as follows : 1. In general, the activities of acid proteinase and weak acid proteinase in the mesh of primary brewing process are stronger than those in main brewing process. 2. The activities of acid proteinase are remarkably stronger than those of weak acid proteinase in both processes. It reveals that they decrease slowly through the fermentation. Activities of alkaline proteinase are weaker than others. 3. As the raw materials are mixtured, the total amount of organic acids is equivalent to 0.150 mg/ml acetic acid in the mesh of primary brewing process and 0.02 mg/ml acetic acid in the main one. They increase gradually with time. 4. Hydrogen ion concnetration shows 3.9 in the mesh of main brewing process and 3.28 in the primary one. They increase to the maximum in 60-72 hrs., and decrease since 108 hrs. 5. The content of crude protein shows 66.90mg/ml in the mesh of main brewing process, while shows 64.29mg/ml in the mesh of primary one. they decrease slowly with time. it seems that a small content of crude protein, as a substrate, converts into amino acids and soluble nitrogen compounds by proteinase. 6. The content of free amino acids and oligopeptides shows 0.36 mg/ml in the mesh of primary brewing process and 0.24mg/ml in the main brewing process. It is evident that the reason they increase continuously through the fermentation is the effect of proteinase. 7. According to the results, the strong activities of proteinase in primary brewing process has been derived from the decrease of hydrogen ion concentration due to the production of organic acids.
There is a variety of opinions about the first translation activities within the Turkic Empire. It is widely believed that some Buddhist sutras were translated into the Turkic language in the period of Taspar Qagan (572-581). This theory is based on certain arguments: Some Turks practiced Buddhism, Buddhist monks translated sutras in the center of the Turkic Empire, Taspar brought sutras from China and had them translated, and the monarch of Northern Qi had a sutra translated and sent to Taspar. However, in my opinion, these arguments lack credibility. This article, which is based on primary Chinese sources, will question the likelihood of such translation activities having occurred. Some Chinese records for these claims exist: Da Tang Nei Dian Lu (大唐內典錄) and Xu Gao Seng Chuan (續高僧傳) by the Buddhist monk Jinagupta and the records of Hui Lin in Sui Shu (隋書) and Wen Xian Tong Kao (文獻通考). These are known as "primary sources." Secondary sources, namely contemporary history and language studies, such as those in books and articles, must be based on primary sources. It can be seen that claims relating to the first Turkic translation activities at the time of Taspar are mainly derived from secondary sources, and that the arguments in these secondary sources vary. Sometimes researchers make suppositions on the existence of information that is not referred to in primary sources. However, this is not normal practice. If a researcher relies on unknowns for the evidence of information existing, it can cause false information, ideas and anachronisms to be created. It is important that primary sources, such as the Chinese sources mentioned above, be translated correctly in language and history studies. If only a word is mistranslated, very different results may occur. Mistranslating or misinterpreting a primary source allows conclusions to be reached that are not supported by dissemination of information from primary sources. This can mislead experts and result in information that is not correct being considered as being true. As well as helping to prevent such misinterpretations occurring, another aim of this paper is to question the interpretations of the first Turkic translations in contemporary studies on history and language. The origin of such assessments will be explored and the validity of that information will be examined.
This study analyzed attitudes of primary school children about volunteer service as reported by 582 children, 267 parents and 236 teachers. It aimed to develop a program for the activation of primary school children's volunteer activities and internalization of the importance of continuous involvement in volunteer activities. Two 6th grade classes were sampled for participation in the experience-based preparatory education program. Questionnaires were distributed to subjects. Data were analyzed by SPSSWIN 10.0. Results showed that the experience-based preparatory education program elevated the level of children's motivation for volunteer activities and heightened their satisfaction with volunteer work. Recommendations were made further study.

Computer Science Unplugged is a collection of free learning activities that teach Computer Science through engaging games and puzzles that use cards, string, crayons and lots of running around. In spite of the success of unplugged activities, the unplugged resources for experiencing the concepts of data structures is lacked. In this study, we design, implement and survey the 3 hour lessons of the core concepts of graph theory and the shortest path algorithm for the primary students using computer science unplugged activities. Our survey results showed that our lesson plan is adequate for primary school students and will have a positive effects for primary school students.
The purpose of this research is to analysis of distinction according to athletics class teaching of sport activities participation by primary school female teachers. The result showed that primary school female teachers who had participated in sports activities had higher average in athletic class recognition and athletic class teaching than those who had not participated in sports activities. The difference was statistically significant. Among participators to sports activities, teachers who participated in "indirect competition type sports" had higher average in athletic class teaching than those who had participated in "performance record type sports" or "aesthetic sports". The difference was statistically significant. Regarding degree of participation in sports activities, teachers who had participated in twice and more than twice a week had higher average in athletic class teaching than those who had participated in once or less than once a week. The difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference among groups regarding participating time or participating period in sports activities. In conclusion, our research suggests that sports activities participation by primary school female teachers gives positive impact to athletic class teaching.
Today's fundamental purpose of environmental education is to fulfill people's desire of living in a pleasant environment and at the same time promoting individualistic and collective environmentally friendly behaviors. In order to achieve these purposes, it is very important that each person holds an environmentally friendly mind that constantly tries to preserve and protect the environment which should be acquired through experiencing the importance of the environment. In order to increases the sense of attachment of people and the natural environment, the direction of environmental education should carry out education on environment related knowledge and the condition of environment damage side by side. The direction of environmental education should consider the cultivating student's awareness for active participation on matters related to the environment and to change their behaviors towards the environment. This study has tested the effect of reflective writing activities about the environment on the environmental sensitivity and willingness to act of 5th grade primary school students. For the sole purpose of this study, 70 students out of 141 5th graders of M Primary School were divided as the experimental group, and another 71 students were divided as the control group. The experimental group participated in 10 activities in where they were asked to express their thoughts and feelings in writing regarding 10 environmental problems occurring near the M Primary School. The control group participated in 10 environmental education lectures focusing on the lecturer. The results were as following. First, the reflective writing activities about the environment were effective in the environmental sensitivity of primary school students. Second, the reflective writing activities about the environment can affect the environmental willingness to act of primary school students. Third, there was a statistically significant correlation between environmental sensitivity and environmental willingness to act.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self-care activities on physical and mental health of primary caregivers of functionally impaired elderly. Data were collected from 185 primary caregivers who were caring for their spouses or parents with functional impairment at home in Daejon. SPSS 21.0 software was used for descriptive analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that (1) primary caregivers reported their physical health status as poor (2) the domains of health responsibility, physical activity in their self-care activities were significant predictors of their physical health level (3) primary caregivers reported very high level of depression (4) their mental health was significantly influenced by spiritual growth among self-care activities. Based on these findings, social work intervention and policy suggestions were discussed.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between nursing work environment, patient safety culture, and patient safety nursing activities in hemodialysis units at primary care centers. Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, 116 nurses working in hemodialysis units at 22 primary care centers were enrolled as participants. They were selected them by the convenience sampling method. Data were collected using structured questionnaires that included questions on general characteristics, nursing work environment, patient safety culture, and patient safety nursing activities. Results: The nursing work environment was relatively good; however, the patient safety culture and patient safety nursing activities were poor. A positive correlation was found between nursing work environment, patient safety culture, and patient safety nursing activities. Factors that affect patient safety culture were rated high in the order of nursing work environment and patient safety nursing activities, and factors affecting patient safety nursing activities were rated high in the order of patient safety culture and age. Conclusion: This study showed that the development of tailored patient safety training for nurses in hemodialysis units working in primary care and administrative support from those institutions are needed. In particular, strategies accounting for nurses' characteristics such as age are required to strengthen patient safety nursing activities.
The cultured mycelia of Ganoderma lucidum were extracted and the extract was separated into six fractions by organic solvent fractionation. The antihepatotoxic activity of all the fractions was evaluated by measuring activities of glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT) and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT). Among the fractions tested, the high-polarity fractions such as aqueous and n-butanol fractions significantly reduced activities of GPT and GOT in CCl4- and galactosamine-intoxicated rat primary hepatocytes. When intracellular synthetic activities were measured by pulsing the rate primary cultured hepatocytes with [3H]-uridine and [3H]-leucine, activities of DNA, RNA and protein. When direct toxicities of the fractions were measured against human hepatoma(SK-Hep-1), the non-polarity fractions such as n-butanol and ethyl acetate fractions showed potent direct cytotoxicities even at the concentration of 1 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml. These data showed that Ganoderma lucidum has hepatoprotective and hepatotoxic recovery principles in its mycelia.
