  • 3D 가상환경 개발 초기 단계에서부터 효과적인 Navigation을 위해서 Navigation Aid에 대한 연구가 꾸준히 진행되어왔으나 환경 구조의 중요 지점만을 정리한 요약 형태의 정보를 제공하는 방법이 주를 이루고 있어서, Navigation 대상 환경에 익숙지 않은 사용자에게 환경구조를 이해하게 하는 인지적 부담을 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 navigation을 위한 인지적 부담을 최소화할 수 있도록 토픽맵을 적용하여 투어코스를 자동생성 하는 시스템을 제안한다. 본 Navigation Aid 시스템은 가상환경 구조를 기억하거나 시스템 조작을 위한 일상적인 문제점에서 벗어나 본래의 목적에 집중할 수 있을 것이다. 가상환경에서의 Navigation 경험을 통해 현실세계에 존재하는 환경을 사전방문 하거나 효과적인 투어코스를 선정하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to acquire competitiveness faced with a global business so that Korea and China make them put ICT into practice through industrial policy of regional innovation clustering. In the Chapter 2, overall review of industrial spaces theory and the environment in Global-business is conducted. In the Chapter 3, current main economic issue and West Great Development of China are viewed. Chapter 4 proposes models and strategies for the target of regional innovation clustering and phasing in development. The results of this study is that both country should do more long-term cooperation and collecting intensive knowledge for the property of region and preparatory research of regional innovation clustering than do reckless investment.

  • Recently, many enterprises have attempted to construct data warehousing systems for decision-support. Data warehouse is an intelligent store of data that can aggregate vast amounts of information. Building DW requires two important development issues:(i) DW for the decision making of business users and (ii) metadata within it. Most DW development methodologies have not considered metadata development; it is necessary to adopt a DW development methodology which develops a DW and its metadata simultaneously. Metadata is a key to success of data warehousing system and is critical for implementing DW. That is, metadata is crucial documentation for a data warehousing system where users should be empowered to meet their own information needs; users need to know what data exists, what it represents, where it is located, and how to access it. Furthermore, metadata is used for extracting data and managing DW. However, metadata has failed because its management has been segregated from the DW development process. Metadata must be integrated with data warehousing systems. Without metadata, the decision support of DW is under the control of technical users. Therefore, integrating data warehouse with its metadata offers a new opportunity to create a more adaptive information system. Therefore, this paper proposes a DW development methodology from a metadata perspective. The proposed methodology consists of five phases: preparatory, requirement analysis, data warehouse (informational database) development, metastore development, and maintenance. To demonstrate the practical usefulness of the methodology, one case is illustrated

  • This study analyzed the features of norms formed in mobile-based science problem-solving and interpreted them from the perspective of digital citizenship. For this, we implemented two mobile-based science problem-solving activities for nine elementary school preparatory teachers composed of two groups, and analyzed the norms observed in their activities. As a result, four norms were found as follows. First, the information presented as a basis should be scientifically reliable. Second, the information need to be searched widely, but the information should be selected and reconstructed in relation to the problem. Third, in a mobile environment, the ideas should be clearly expressed and understood. Fourth, courtesies in mobile interaction should be represented more politely than in face-to-face interaction. Based on the four norms found in this study, we discussed the characteristics and factors of digital citizenship for judging scientifically reliable and relevant information and expressing ideas clearer in mobile environment. Finally, we suggested the educational implications for fostering digital citizens who can judge and practice 'science issues' in a 'mobile environment'.

  • Career indecision has long been a phenomenon of interest to parents, faculty, school counselors, and others who advise young adults on their career choices. The earliest work on career indecision focused almost exclusively on the negative consequences that young adults faced as a result of lack of self-insight into their own skills and abilities, lack of specific information about various occupations and labor markets, and fear of commitment to any career path in particular. More recently, researchers have noted that some of the short run negative consequences of early career indecision may ultimately lead to long-term positive consequences, particularly if better person-occupation fit is achieved as a result of young adults' extended search behavior. Extroversion, agreeableness, emotional stability, and openness showed to have negative effects on indecisiveness. In case of lack of job information, only extroversion and emotional stability showed to have negative effects on indecisiveness, and openness showed negative effect. Indecisiveness has negative effect on preparatory job search behavior. Lack of information has negative effect on preparatory job search behavior and active job search behavior.

VLBI Type Experimental Observation of GPS

  • As a preparatory study for Global Positioning System-Very Long Baseline Interferometry (GPS-VLBI) hybrid system, we examined if VLBI type observation of the GPS signal is realizable through a test experiment. The test experiment was performed between Kashima and Koganei, Japan, with 110 km baseline. The GPS L1 and L2 signals were received by commercial GPS antennas, down-converted to video-band signals by specially developed GPS down converters, and then sampled by VLBI samplers. The sampled GPS data were recorded as ordinary VLBI data by VLBI recorders. The sampling frequency was 64 MHz and the observation time was 1 minute. The recorded data were correlated by a VLBI correlator. From correlation results, we simultaneously obtained correlation fringes from all 8 satellites above a cut-off elevation which was set to 15 degree. 87.5% of L1 fringes and 12.5% of L2 fringes acquired the Signal to Noise Ratios which are sufficient to achieve the group delay precision of 0.1nsec that is typical in current geodetic VLBI. This result shows that VLBI type observation of GPS satellites will be readily realized in future GPS-VLBI hybrid system.

  • This study had a purpose to find the correlation between academic achievement and entrance examination score using FCA and framing a concept of university academic achievement and entrance examination score and then, building concept lattice. The subject for this analysis was admission materials of freshmen in computer engineering department at A university located in Chungcheong area in 2010. Also 56 students in total were subjects for the score analysis of their first semester from 2010 to 2014. The major findings of this study were as follows. We organized and extracted many-valued context, concept lattice, associated rules using FCA. And we analyzed the correlation between University academic achievement and entrance examination score using FCA. The conclusions were as follows. We could get meaningful analyzed results using FCA. University academic achievement had lower relativeness with entrance examination score and female students had higher university academic achievement than male students. The improvement points are summarized below. It is necessary to improve the ratio and application method of the university admission factors and to increase the regular admission for a university. And programs for completing College-preparatory programming for male students in low university academic achievement are necessary.

  • As the new management strategy of urban crime, The crime prevention through environmental design is the one of the crime control strategies for preparatory Prevention. Therefore, The Purpose of this study is to find out the crime prevention strategy to encounter problems in reality concerning to the urban crime.   • The market for smart phones has been booming in the past few years. There are now over 400,000 applications on the Android market. Over 10 billion Android applications have been downloaded from the Android market. Due to the Android popularity, there are now a large number of malicious vendors targeting the platform. Many honest end users are being successfully hacked on a regular basis. In this work, a cloud based reputation security model has been proposed as a solution which greatly mitigates the malicious attacks targeting the Android market. Our security solution takes advantage of the fact that each application in the android platform is assigned a unique user id (UID). Our solution stores the reputation of Android applications in an anti-malware providers' cloud (AM Cloud). The experimental results witness that the proposed model could well identify the reputation index of a given application and hence its potential of being risky or not.
