The concern of green building has been increased with an environmental problem or a rising oil price by industrialization. Therefore offices, schools and some buildings are expected to acquire the green building certification increasingly, but the information such as a process of green building certification, the state of certificated buildings, a score as specific clauses on green building certification is to seek. For not only school facilities make an effect to an student's learning achievement, but is the place where adolescents in a period of growth almost spend their life, eco-friendly school facilities is absolutely required. For this reason, systematizing the information related with the green building certification is to be needed in school field as well Therefore the effort to systematize certification management of eco-friendly school and provide information of certificated building, certification application procedure and sources related with certification for convenience is needed. Also reference material to decrease an inefficient time and expenses and to systematize certification evaluation is be able to beneficial. On the study, for such as the purpose above-mentioned, as the appraisal standard with 12 selected schools randomly is arranged. Based on the assessed scores table, features or something in common as a cause of the score change between preliminary and main certification is to be classified and anaylized.

Code excited linear prediction speech coders exhibit good performance at data rates as low as 4800bps. But the major drawback to CELP type coders is their large computational requirements. Therefore, in this paper a comparative performance study of three pitch searching algorithms for the CELP vocoder was conducted. For each of the algorithms, a standard pitch searching algorithm was used by the full pitch searching algorithm that was implimented in the QCELP vocoder. The algorithms used in this study is to reduce the pitch searching time 1) using the skip table, 2) using the symmetrical property of the autocorrelation , and 3) using the preprocessing autocorrelation, 4) using the positive autocorrelation, 5) using the preliminary pitch. Performance scores are presented for each of the five pitch searching algorithms based on computation speed and on pitch prediction error.

In this study, a postural change detection sensor module (PCDSM) was developed to detect postural changes in activities of daily living (ADL) and falls. The PCDSM consists of eight mercury sensors that measure angle variations in $360^{\circ}$ rotation and $90^{\circ}$ tilting. From the preliminary study, the output characteristics of the PCDSM were confirmed with the angle variations of rotational motion and a tilting table. Three experiments were conducted to test rotational motion, postural changes, and falling and lying. The results confirmed that the PCDSM could effectively detect postural changes, movement patterns, and falls or non-falls.

In previous communications$^{1-6)}$, the results of the preliminary phytochemical examinatioins of 261 plant samples which have been used in medicine in Korea were reported. In continuation of this program we now present in Table I the results of chemical examination of another 92 species, belonging to 80 genera nad 48 families, which were screened for the presence of alkaloids, saponins, terpenoids, and flavonoids. The list of folk medicines described by Lee$^{7)}$ was used as a guide in the selection of plants to be tested.

The purpose of this study is to provide new design techniques for designers to design energy saving balcony in the apartment house using solar energy passively. These design techniques are examined with some samples of foreign buildings used solar energy passively. To classify these design techniques, this study sorts out the energy saving design elements from the preliminary studies. The results of this study show how to apply each design technique to the design of balcony in the apartment house and present a classification table of these techniques. Finally, this study suggests a design solution which can be applied in the design of balcony in existing apartment house.

Objectives: This study examined the recent update of factors affect length and regularity of menstrual cycle and symptoms need for diagnosis in oriental medicine. Methods: For factors, we searched the key word "menstrual cycle length and factor" in ScienceDirect(http://www.sciencedirect.com) and we mainly searched symptoms in the journal of oriental obstetrics & gynecology and text. Results: The result are shown in the Table 1-3. Conclusion: In fact as the fluctuation of menstrual cycle length and regularity is very high in healthy women, we must observe the factor affect menstrual cycle with attention even though rule out disease, operation and HRT etc. these researches show potential to compound oriental medicine care and factor of menstrual cycle change.

This research introduces some preliminary results of bank filtering intake method adopted ill Backam area, Yongin city. This bank infiltration had been supplied to water resources of 750 m$^3$/day to Backam-myun, in 2002. It is believed that the bank infilteration method can afford to supply backam-myun people, Youngin city. The analysis of pumping data along the river shows the water supply pattern. Monitoring data of 1-6 pumping stations on the decline of water table along river sides and basic data on hydrogeologic properties are used to analyze the spatial disturbance range of groundwater systems due to the river pumping system.

This paper describes an example of developing an integrated design system, Integrated Structural Design System for Reinforced Concrete Buildings(INDECON). INDECON incorporates a central database and three design modules: a preliminary design module(PDM), a structural analysis module(SAM), and a detailed design module(DDM). The development of INDECON begins with the development of design models including Design Object Model(DOM) which describes design data during the structural design process. The Design Object Model is transformed to Design Table Model(DTM) for the central database, and is specified to be in detail for the three design modules. Then the central database is implemented and managed by relational database management system(RDBMS), and the three design modules are implemented using C++ programming language. The central database in the server computer communicates with the design modules in the client computers using TCP/IP internet protocol. The developing procedure for INDECON in this paper can be applied for developing more comprehensive integrated structural design systems.

This paper describes a method for reconstructing 3D feet in a real time vision based marker free motion capture system. The proposed method is developed based on the visual hull and model fitting. For a real time computing, a special lookup table is employed in this paper. This method is implemented and tested using three CCD cameras and preliminary results are presented in this paper.

Formwork accounts for a large proportion of the framework in high-rise construction projects in terms of the duration and cost. Especially, slab formwork has a significant influence on these factors. However, the current selection of formwork method in general contractors depends on the decisions of few experienced engineers, and layout planning of the formwork in specialty contractors requires lots of time by different floor types. As a preliminary study for developing an optimum layout model in slab formwork of high-rise building construction, this study proposes the process of the optimum layout model and determines a fitness function for use of the genetic algorithm aimed at table formwork.
