안전 요구사항의 추적성 구현을 통한 시험/평가 계획서의 효율적 개발 (On an Efficient Development of the Test & Evaluation Plan through the insured Traceability of the Safety Requirements)

  • It is well known that the test and evaluation plan (TEP) is very crucial in the successful development of safety-critical systems. As such, this paper discusses an approach to the development of the TEP for a system that should meet safety requirements in the systems development process. It is studied how to incorporate the result of preliminary hazard analysis (PHA) in generating the safety requirements. It is also discussed how to deal with them when the system requirements (i.e., functions, performance, constraints, components, etc) and the safety requirements are integrated into one model. While doing so, we have constructed the required traceability among them, which is necessary and very useful when the safety requirements need to be corrected or be changed. The use of the traceability makes it possible to easily check out whether and how the safety requirements are properly incorporated in the system design process. Furthermore, without the verified traceability, the system cannot be changed or upgraded later. In order to implement the model on a computer-aided tool, we have constructed a database (DB) schema. As a result, the implemented model/DB allows to automatically generate TEP which can be used to measure the performance and safety level of the developed system.

배관 침부식 손상 연속모사 장비 개발 및 실증 (Development and demonstration of an erosion-corrosion damage simulation apparatus)

  • Pipe wall thinning caused by erosion and corrosion can adversely affect the operation of aged nuclear power plants. Some injured workers owing to pipe rupture has been reported and power reduction caused by unexpected pipe damage has been occurred consistently. Therefore, it is important to develop erosion-corrosion damage prediction model and investigate its mechanisms. Especially, liquid droplet impingement erosion(LDIE) is regarded as the main issue of pipe wall thinning management. To investigate LDIE mechanism with corrosion environment, we developed erosion-corrosion damage simulation apparatus and its capability has been verified through the preliminary damage experiment of 6061-Al alloy. The apparatus design has been based on ASTM standard test method, G73-10, that use high-speed rotator and enable to simulate water hammering and droplet impingement. The preliminary test results showed mass loss of 3.2% in conditions of peripheral speed of 110m/s, droplet size of 1mm-diameter, and accumulated time of 3 hours. In this study, the apparatus design revealed feasibility of LDIE damage simulation and provided possibility of accelerated erosion-corrosion damage test by controlling water chemistry.

Obstacle Crossing Training for Improving Balance and Walking Functions After Stroke: Randomized Controlled Trial of Unaffected Limb Leads Versus Affected Limb Leads

  • Purpose: Obstacle crossing training is being used to improve the walking ability of stroke patients, but studies on which method is more effective when performing obstacle crossing training with an unaffected limb lead (OCT-ULL) and an affected limb lead (OCT-ALL) are not well known. As such, this study aims to compare the intervention effects of obstacle crossing training using unaffected limb leads (OCT-ULL) and obstacle crossing training using affected limb leads (OCT-ALL). Methods: In total, 25 patients with chronic stroke were studied and assigned randomly to the obstacle crossing training with unaffected limb leads (OCT-ULL) group or the obstacle crossing training with affected limb leads (OCT-ALL) group. A lower extremity strength test, balance and gait test, and fall efficacy test were conducted as preliminary tests, and all patients participated in the intervention for 30 minutes a day, five days a week for four weeks, and the same preliminary tests were conducted post-intervention. Results: Compared with the OCT-ALL group, the OCT-ULL group showed a significant improvement in the strength of the affected hip abductor muscle and in balance and gait, as well as in fall efficacy (p<.05). Conclusion: This study suggested that applying the OCT-ULL training method in the obstacle crossing training of stroke patients is more effective for improving balance and gait functions than OCT-ALL.

인천·경기지역 안경사들을 대상으로 한 R.G.P 렌즈 착용 실태 조사 (The Research of Fitting Status of R.G.P Lenses Inspected by Optometrists in In-Cheon and Kyung-Gi Region)

  • 구면과 비구면 R.G.P 렌즈 착용실태 조사를 인천 경기지역 안경사 374명을 대상으로 착용비율, 관리법, 예비검사법등 여러가지 문항을 설정하여 조사 하였다. 대부분의 안경사들은 비구면 R.G.P 렌즈를 구면보다 7:3의 비율로 많이 판매하고 있었으며 R.G.P 렌즈 핏팅시 반드시 행하여야할 예비검사 항목 Schirmer test, Tear Break up time test, Slit lamp에 의한 Fluorescein검사, Topography에 의한 각막 지형도 검사를 시행하는지 조사하였으나 대부분 시행하지 않고 있었다. 또한 R.G.P 렌즈 핏팅시 가장 많이 나타나는 증상으로는 가벼운 이물감, 충혈, 시력 흐림, 건조감 순으로 나타났다. 본 실태 조사는 이상적인 R.G.P 렌즈를 핏팅을 위하여 반드시 행하여야 할 예비검사 항목을 나열하였으며, 그 중요성을 일깨우고자 하는데 목적이 있다.

  • 75톤급 액체로켓엔진의 성공적인 개발을 위해서는 각 구성품에 대한 다수의 시험이 수행되어야 하며 이러한 상황은 연소기에서도 동일하다. 하지만 한국항공우주연구원에서 운용 중인 시험설비는 75톤급 연소기를 정상 추력으로 수행하기에는 부족하다. 연소기 개발 시험에 접어들기 이전에 시험설비는 준비가 되어야 하기 때문에 시험설비의 구축이 급박하다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 긴급한 필요성으로 수행한 75톤급 액체로켓엔진 연소기 시험설비의 기본설계 내용을 기술한다.

노인의 치매행동 관련 홀니스 프로그램 개발과 완충효과 검증 (The Development of Wholeness Program for Effects Dementia-Buffering Testing of the Demented Elderly)

  • 이 연구는 치매행동 관련 홀니스 프로그램 적용 및 완충효과 검증 단계로 서울시에 위치한 M1과 M2 노인복지관에 개설되어 있는 주간보호시설 참여 노인 총 40명을 대상자로 선정하였다. 선정된 대상자들의 사전조사를 실시한 후 무작위로 M1노인복지관 노인 20명을 실험군으로, M2노인복지관 노인 20명을 통제군으로 배치하였다. 치매행동 관련 홀니스 프로그램 활동은 2016년 3월 14일부터 2016년 5월 30일까지 12주간, 주 2회, 60분간 수행하였다. 측정도구는 MMSE-K와 K-MBI, GDS-K를 사용하였다. 치매행동 관련 홀니스 프로그램에 참여하는 동안 치매행동 참여 전과 참여 후 총 2회를 측정하였으며 SPSS-PC(version 21.0) 통계프로그램을 이용하여 첫째, 실험군과 통제군의 동질성여부를 파악하기 위하여 독립표본 t-검증, 둘째, MMSE-K와 K-MBI, GDS-K에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위하여 사전검사와 사후검사 간 대응표본 t-검증, 셋째, 사전·사후 간 변화량을 확인하기 위하여 ANOVA를 실시하였다. 연구결과 노인의 치매행동 관련 홀니스 프로그램은 인지능력의 변화(MMSE-K), 신체능력의 변화(K-MBI), 우울수준의 변화(GDS-K)에 모두 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

풍력발전기용 피치/요 베어링의 시험절차 개발 (Development on Test Procedure of Pitch and Yaw Bearings for Wind Turbine)

  • Test procedure for the design verification of wind turbine pitch and yaw bearings has been developed. Test items were selected to evaluate operational reliability of pitch and yaw bearings by considering loading and operational conditions, and by analyzing the design criteria of pitch and yaw bearings. The developed test items consisted of preliminary test, fatigue load test, extreme load test, low temperature environmental test and dismantling inspection after all the test were completed. Because it reflects the actual operational conditions of the pitch and yaw bearings, the developed test procedure has high reliability and can verify the basic design considerations in the international standard and guidelines.

  • Performance test is carried out in accordance with "performance test standard for Electrical Multiple Unit", noticed by Ministry of Construction & Transportation in 2000. The object of this standard is to ensure that vehicle is tested after completion and before entry into service. Performance test is classified by type test to be carried out for the first car and its components in order to verify their performance and by routine test to be carried out on the whole quantity in order to prove the performance of individual items. Scope of the test is divided by components, completed car, preliminary adjustment test and running test on main line. The paper introduces a testing procedure and an execution method of the performance test.

Preliminary Investigation for Feasibility of Wave Energy Converters and the Surrounding Sea as Test-site for Marine Equipment

  • Of late, demand for test sites for marine equipment such as ASV, AUV, ROV, and various underwater sensors is increasing. The authors have focused on an oscillating water column (OWC), which is being constructed near Chagwido Island Jeju, as one of the test-sites. The main objective of the OWC is to produce wave energy and develop technologies. It has been built in the sea approximately 1 km off the coast. It has berth accommodation and some rooms that can be used as laboratories. To investigate the feasibility of its usage as a test site for marine equipment, we acquired bathymetric data around the OWC by using a multi-beam echo sounder and a single-beam scanning sonar. The accessibility of the OWC from nearby ports and the use of support vessels or ships were also investigated. 3D point cloud data from the multi-beam echo sounder and 2D acoustic images from the scanning sonar are expected to be used as references for identifying changes over time. In addition, through these experiments, we derived a procedure to use this facility as a test site by using the IDEF0 functional modelling method. Based on this preliminary investigation and previously reported examples, we determined the general conditions and preferences for evaluating the performance of various marine equipment heuristically. Finally, we developed five applications that were derived from this investigation.

나무의사 자격시험의 실태분석과 제도개선 방안 - 제1차 시험을 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Actual Condition of the Tree Doctor Qualification Test and Improvement of the System - Focus on the First Test -)

  • This study aimed to provide preliminary data for the improvement of the tree doctor qualification test (first written test), which was newly created by enforcing the Forest Protection Act on June 28, 2018., The high demand for system improvement accelerated this study. The results were analyzeds through literature and questionnaire surveys. Writing test questions and the license of the tree doctor qualification exam are currently managed by the Korea Forestry Research Institute, and it is deemed that the test should be entrusted to Human Resources Development Service of Korea for fair and transparent management. Additionally, the plan for the improvement of the subject-wise scope of examination questions writing, difficulty of test questions, and acceptance rate of the first test should be prepared after public hearings or seminars related to the examination questions.
