확대단면에서 폐쇄형 외부 띠철근 배근 방법에 따른 보강기둥의 중심축하중 거동 평가 (Evaluation of Axial Behavior of Strengthened Columns according to Different Peripheral Closed Hoops in Jacket Section)

  • This study examined the effect of various arrangement methods for forming peripheral closed hoops in the jacket section on the axial behavior of section enlargement strengthening columns. Four types of peripheral closed hoops arranged in the jacket section were prepared as follows: 1) Closed connection of prefabricated bar units (column P); 2) V-clip installation across the overlapped legs of channel-type bars (column V); 3) Use of glass fiber mesh for an alternative of steel bars (column F); and 4) combination of prefabricated bar units and glass fiber mesh (column PF). The V-clip is designed to form the closed hoops in the jacket section using the overlapped channel-type bars, preventing the opening of the channel bar legs. The glass fiber mesh is to examine the feasibility to apply for closed hoops in the jacket section as an alternative for steel bars, considering the easy construction. In the jacket section of all the strengthened columns, V-ties were arranged for supplementary ties, avoiding the interruption of the existing column. The axial stiffness and strength of the strengthened columns were insignificantly affected by the arrangement methods of closed hoops in the jacket section. The axial ductility ratio of the strengthened columns P, V, and PF was enhanced more than twice of that measured in the non-seismic existing column. However, the column F exhibited a lower ductility than the other strengthened columns because of the fracture of the mesh at the ultimate strength of the column. The V-clip approach was favorable to enhance the ductility of the strengthened column, preventing the opening of the legs of channel-type bars.

BIM 기반 프리패브 부재의 용접철근매트 정보교환 시스템 (BIM based Data Exchange System of Welded Wire/bar Mat for Pre-fab RC Members)

  • Reinforcing bars, a major component of the pre-fab structure, adheres to the existing on-site assembly method and attempts to develop and commercialize the technology of the pre-assembly method, but the effect is insignificant. Welded Wire / Bar Mat (WBM) has various advantages such as commercialization of rebar through machine manufacturing to improve workability, but it is different from the existing design and the construction method is different from the previous one. Therefore, to maximize the advantages of WBM and improve productivity, manufacturing, transportation, and construction from the design stage should be considered based on BIM from the initial design stage. In this paper, the concept of the design support system for the WBM was established based on the use of BIM in concrete reinforcement and the preliminary research on the WBM. WBM conversion design was performed for the existing prefabricated members, and based on this, the exchange format and system of the master prefabricated model with the WBM design data were set up. As a result of the pilot test, it was found that the traditional reinforcing bar information extracted from the master prefab model has transmitted 100% accurately. As for the WBM information, 100% of the information on the straight reinforcement was transmitted and represented, and the information on the bent reinforcement was found to have a 90% recall in the master BIM tool.

심미적 포스트 코어의 종류에 따른 미세누출에 관한 연구 (Microleakage of endodontically treated teeth restored with three different esthetic post and cores)

  • 연구목적: 오늘날 심미적 요구의 증가로 치아색 포스트 코어에 대한 많은 관심이 모아지고 있으며 다양한 연구가 진행 중이다. 현재 화이버 포스트 (ParaPost fiber White, Coltene Whaledent, Cuyahoga Falls, USA), 지르코니아 포스트 (CosmoPost, Ivoclar Vivadent, Schann, Germany) 등에 관한 논문은 다소 나와 있으나 요즘 여러 분야에서 관심을 받고 있는 CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) 방식으로 지르코니아를 가공한 절삭형 지르코니아 포스트 코어에 대한 연구는 많지 않은 실정이다. 이 연구의 목적은 CAD/CAM을 이용한 지르코니아를 비롯하여 근관치료된 치아에서 사용된 세 가지 다른 치아색 포스트 코어에 대해 미세누출 (microleakage)을 비교해 보는 것이다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 발치된 건전한 상악 절치 27개를 채택하여 백악법랑질경계 (CEJ)에서 절단하여 근관치료를 시행하고, 세군 (각 9개)으로 나누었다. 각군들은 화이버 포스트와 콤포짓트 레진 코어 (1군), 지르코니아 포스트와 열가압형 세라믹 코어 (2군), CAD/CAM 절삭형 지르코니아 포스트 코어 (3군)로 수복하였다. $5-55^{\circ}C$ 1000회 열순환 처리 (thermocycling)를 시행하고, 2% 메틸렌 블루로 $37^{\circ}C$에서 24시간 염색하였다. 치아장축과 평행하게 순설방향으로 절단하여 미세누출을 현미경과 컴퓨터 프로그램을 사용하여 분석을 하였다. 데이터는 one-way ANOVA와 Scheffe's multiple range test (${\alpha}=0.05$)로 분석하였다. 결과: 모든 군에서 미세누출을 보였으며, 지르코니아 포스트와 열가압형 세라믹 코어군 (2군)에서 치근계면 입구에서는 다소 많은 미세누출을 보였으나 포스트 끝에 이르러서는 거의 미세누출이 없는 결과를 보였다. 화이버 포스트와 콤포짓트 레진 코어군 (1군)과CAD/CAM 절삭형 지르코니아 포스트 코어군 (3군)에서는 부위별로 균등한 미세누출을 보였다. 결론: 화이버 포스트와 콤포짓트 레진 코어군, 지르코니아 포스트와 열가압형 세라믹 코어군, CAD/CAM 절삭형 지르코니아 포스트 코어군 모두에서 미세누출을 보였고, 이 중에서 지르코니아 포스트와 열가압형 세라믹 코어군이 좀 더 큰 미세누출에 대한 저항성을 보였으며 화이버 포스트와 콤포짓트 레진 코어군, CAD/CAM 절삭형 지르코니아 포스트 코어군은 유사한 양상을 보였으나, 각 실험군 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 인정되지 않았다.   • 초고압 지중 케이블을 전기적, 기계적으로 연결하는 역할을 하는 중간 접속함은 미가교 폴리에틸렌을 사용하여 현장에서 가교시키는 TMJ(tape molded Joint), 에폭시와 EPDM고무의 복합 절연구조를 가지고 있는 PJ(Prefabricated Joint), 그리고 EPDM또는 실리콘 고무를 단독으로 사용하는 PMJ(Premolded Joint)로 대표된다. 그러나 TMJ는 현장에서 가교하는 방식으로 조립 후 품질을 파악하기가 쉽지 않으며 PJ는 공장에서 미리 성형한 제품을 현장에서 조립만 하면 되는 구조이나 그 부품의 수가 많고, 이종 계면을 가지고 있는 복합절연구조를 가지고 있어 최근에는 부품의 수도 적고 조립이 간편하며 이종 계변의 수를 최소화하여 전기적 안정성을 높인 조립형 접속함인 PMJ를 선호하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PMJ용으로 사용되는 실리콘 고무의 절연과 반도전 계면에서의 접착력과 전기적 파괴 특성간의 상관 관계를 규명하였고 또한 실리콘 고무의 상온 및 고온에서의 AC 및 Impulse 전압의 특성 변화와 Impulse 전압의 극성효과에 대해 규명하였다.

항타공식의 신뢰도 (Reliability of Pile Driving Formula)

  • Prefabricated piles used for construction of highway bridges are most of steel pipe piles and few of prestressed concrete piles. Its installation and inspection are less controllable and have much uncertainty due to changes in subsoil and groundwater conditions. However, most of these piles have been controlled using outdated pile driving formula such as Hiley's formula which models just the energy conservation due to its simple applicability in the field. This formula results in overstriking or sometimes understocking due to buckling of pile head. Engineers cannot ensure by the formula whether pile is installed properly. To compensate the drawbacks of excising pile formula, parameters in Hiley's formula and 55 formula are reviewed. Final sets used in pile formula and PDA test results(E.O.I.D) are measured during pile driving along the depth. These measured results along the depth were compared with each other and with N values, so that relations between the each result could be inferred. Also the factor of safety which can be used for pile driving formula are suggested.

  • Geosynthetics are commonly used for filtering, layer separations, drainages, cutoffs, and reinforcements. In highway constructions, geotextile mats have been used for the purposes of vehicle trafficability, separations and embankment reinforcements. Geosynthetics are utilized as prefabricated vertical drains and also used as horizontal drainage layers substituted for the sand mat. Geogrids, essential element of reinforced retaining walls, are sometimes spread under the highway pavement. Besides various usage mentioned above, many type of them are also used as drainage of backfill in culverts and bridge abutments. In this paper, problems of specifications and regulations concerning mostly used geotextiles are specifically dealt with from the practical aspects of field engineering and efforts are given upon improvement of them. Especially, relevant sections of "Standard Specifications for the Highway Construction by Korea Highway Corporation"are being revised and these are introduced in detail.

  • Almost every material of PVD (Prefabricated Vertical Drain) has the fatal problem on the condition - the length must shorten with the settlement of the surrounding grounds - which all PVDs must satisfy. Kinking deformation by buckling of PVD due to consolidation settlement Is discussed in this paper. A new testing device to clarify the deformation of PVD under consolidation of surrounding clay was developed and the fiber drain and a PVD made of plastics were compared under the same condition of consolidation using natural clay specimens. The results are also shown in this paper.

조립식 강재틀 옹벽의 현장적응성 분석 (In-Situ Behaviors of Steel Frame-type Retaining Walls)

  • Steel frame-type retaining walls(SFRW) are constructed by on site bolting of prefabricated steel frames and internal filling of materials such as rocks with the size of 150-300mm. Easy & fast construction, superior drainage performance and structural performance to rigorous site conditions are some of the merits of applying the SFRW to various construction sites. After the development of the structural details, a test construction of SFRW, with the height of 6m and 30m in length, was carried out at an apartment site. After completion, several months of monitoring was carried out on the structure to check displacement, tilting, settlement, soil pressures and drainage characteristics. The results of the structural behavior of SFRW along with its construction methods are presented in the paper.

유닛모듈 운반시 작용하중 분석 (Load analysis for transporting unit module)

  • The unit modular method is one in which unit modules are prefabricated at a factory and then constructed at a construction site. That is why an important process, transporting unit module, is added in this method. The purpose of this study is to analyse the load for transporting unit module. The results of the analysis of the driving experimental runs revealed that a maximum load of 15 kN was applied on adapter block type A and a maximum load of 25 kN on adapter block type B. These loads were recorded at the points in the road test when the low-bed trailer was driving through unstable sections of the test such as stopping, restarting, passing over a speed bump or taking a left turn at speed.

  • This paper analyses current densities induced inside human body of lineman for 765kV transmission line when he wears a protective cloth or not. Applying the boundary element method, we calculate current densities induced in organs inside a worker in case he was located at 15[cm], 30[cm], 50[cm], and 100[cm] far from a prefabricated jumper. As results of study, we find a maximum current density induced in all organs may be higher than $10[mA/m^2]$ if he does not wear protective clothes. We also know high permeability materials can lower current density more than high conductivity materials.
