TFT-LCD automatic defect inspection system for detecting defects in place of the visual tester does pre-processing, candidate defect pixel detection, and recognition and classification through a blob analysis. An over-detection result of defects acts as an undue burden of blob analysis for recognition and classification. In this paper, we propose defect detection method based on the histogram distribution modeling of TFT-LCD image to minimize over-detection of candidate defective pixels. Primary defect candidate pixels are detected estimating the skewness of the luminance distribution histogram of the background pixels. Based on the detected defect pixels, the defective pixels other than noise pixels are detected using the distribution histogram model of the local area. Experimental results confirm that the proposed method shows an excellent defect detection result on the image containing the various types of defects and the reduction of the degree of over-detection as well.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the impact of the New Container Security Initiatives of U.S., CSI(Container Security Initiative) and C-TPAT(Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism). The CSI which aims to pre-screen high-risk containers in ports of loading. It is a unilateral effort that seeks to develop bi-lateral agreements between the United States and foreign countries with significant container trade volumes into the U.S. C-TPAT is a voluntary initiative to develop cooperative security relationships between the U.S. government and U.S. firms in the global supply chain. Government and Industry have already responded with proposals to create more confidence in supply chain security. These proposals call for heightened inspection and scrutiny of the goods flowing through a supply chain, increased information exchange among participants of supply chain. While government and the private sector are working together to launch new initiative to create more secure and reliable supply chains, industry is rapidly exploring the potential of new technologies such as RFID. The security recommendations will eventually become the requirements to be complied with by importers and their supplier extending to the carriers. It is needed that Korean shippers involved in US importer's supply chain should pay attention to the requirements and start implementing the security measures.

제방 월류방지 대체공법으로 전도식, 부력식 홍수방지벽을 국내 외에서 개발하는 실정이다. 그러나, 사전점검 불가 및 유지관리 문제점이 있어 본 연구에서는 국내 외 최초로 경량 재질이면서 강도가 우수한 유리섬유복합소재를 이용한 승하강식 홍수방지 벽체구조물을 연구 개발하였다. 개발된 홍수방지 벽체구조물은 수치해석을 통해 구조적 안정성과 함께 현장 적용성을 제시하여 공사비를 약 87%~95%로 감소시키고 벽체구조물 내부에 고무 지수부재를 설치하여 차수성이 확보되는 것을 확인하였다.

A 2-year-old, castrated male Chihuahua dog was referred for revision surgery for reluxation of the patella following surgery for medial patellar luxation (MPL) of the left stifle joint. On general inspection, the patient showed bilateral hindlimb weight-bearing lameness. On physical examination, bilateral non-reducible MPL was detected through palpation. Radiographs revealed bone deformities of both hindlimbs. Computed tomography (CT) was applied for a three-dimensional (3D) printing bone model to establish an accurate surgical plan. The bone plate was pre-contoured over the 3D-printing bone model after execution of corrective osteotomy and sterilized prior to use in surgery. Corrective osteotomy was performed through a staged, bilateral procedure. The patient showed improvement of limb function following surgery without reluxation of the patella. The use of 3D-printing bone model for accurate surgical planning of corrective osteotomy appears to be effective in increasing the accuracy of surgery. That may lead to successful surgical outcomes.

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of integrated art therapy on the life meaning of new firefighters. The subjects of the study selected 108 newfirefighters to be hired as part of the new training center in South Gyeongsang Province. Out of 108 participants, consisting of 54 volunteers, conducted an integrated art therapy program once a week, 60 minutes each, and eight sessions. Research tools carried out pre - and post-inspection testing using a scale of meaning in life. For data analysis, t-test was conducted using SPSS 22.0 program.The study found that integrated art therapy using semantic therapy had statistically significant differences in meaning in life.The experimental group has made positive changes in its pursuit of meaning, finding meaning, and discovering meaning in life rather than in control groups. In other words, the new fire fighting public officials' ability to positively change in difficult situations, adapt to the environment, and overcome difficulties was improved. In particular, he showed changes such as realizing the importance of people and life, clarity of purpose and efforts to change himself. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully review the fire school program aimed at fostering firefighters with a balanced body.

교통사고의 조사에 측거기(tape)를 사용하여 원인을 구명하는 종래 방식으로는 사고조사에 대한 한계가 야기되고 있다. 제한된 인원과 장비로 현장을 보존하며 차륜소통에 장애를 주지 않고 교통사고를 엄밀히 조사한다는 것은 거의 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 스테레오-카메라(stereo-camera)에 의해 촬영된 입체모델에서 필요한 지점간의 삼차원대표를 측정할 수 있고 평면도를 작성하여 사고장소 및 사고차양 을 도면에 나타내어 이것으로부터 필요한 정보를 유출하여 기존방법의 문제점을 보완하고 필요시에는 문제점을 재현하여 처리할 수 있도록 교통사고처리의 합리화를 모색하였다.

The subject study was targeted towards nutrition teacher (dietitian) of elementary, middle, and high schools in Seoul areal. In addition, this study was to investigate the current status of school foodservice securement facilities & equipments and to analyze the obstructive factors for executing the HACCP system. The aim of this study was to provide base-line data so that a more efficient & effective sanitary management system for school foodservise can be settled in. All surveys were distributed and collected via email. A total of 305 survey papers were collected and out of these, 300 school results were analyzed and the results are as follows. The order of the securement facilities & equipment furnished were pre-handing equipments>washing>cooking>inspection>facilities>storage>space area>distribution equipments. The awareness of obstructive factors in executing the HACCP system was a total of 3.17 points and the order was as follows. The general obstructive factors>obstructive factors in the cooking staff executing the HACCP system>collaboration between the school/team leaders and the budget supporting department>obstructive factors in the nutrition teacher (dietitian) executing the HACCP system. School foodservice securement facilities & equipments in Seoul area must be renovated and modernized so as to improve its current situation. Furthermore, leadership programs are necessary to enhance nutritionists' understanding of the HACCP system and the cooking staff's competencies in instructing and supervising.

Backpack-mounted mapping system is firstly introduced for flexible movement in indoor spaces where satellite-based localization is not available. With the achieved advances in miniaturization and weight reduction, use of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors in mobile platforms has been increasing, and indeed, they have provided high-precision information on indoor environments and their surroundings. Previous research on the development of backpack-mounted mapping systems, has concentrated mostly on the improvement of data processing methods or algorithms, whereas practical system components have been determined empirically. Thus, in the present study, a simulator for a LiDAR sensor (Velodyne VLP-16), was developed for comparison of the effects of diverse conditions on the backpack system and its operation. The simulated data was analyzed by visual inspection and comparison of the data sets' statistics, which differed according to the LiDAR arrangement and moving speed. Also, the data was used as input to a point-cloud registration algorithm, ICP (Iterative Closest Point), to validate its applicability as pre-analysis data. In fact, the results indicated centimeter-level accuracy, thus demonstrating the potentials of simulation data to be utilized as a tool for performance comparison of pointdata processing methods.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of a convergent web-based educational program on cognitive function, depression, and dementia prevention behavior among elders living in the community. Method: Participants were 16 elders over 65 years of age (8 in the experimental group and 8 in the control group). The educational program was given twice a week for 9 weeks. Results: Cognitive function and dementia prevention behavior improved in the experimental group. Cognitive function and dementia prevention behavior were reduced in the control group compared to the results of the pre-inspection; however, no statistically significant difference was found. As homogeneity test was not conducted previously for the assessment of depression, the assessment was conducted based on covariates, Although no significant difference found between the two groups, depression level did increase in the control group. Conclusion: Findings from this study indicate that the educational program prevented worsening of depression and was effective in reducing depression. For further assessment, it is necessary to conduct long-term research including a revision and supplementation of the contents and length of the program.

With 34 years of accumulated operating experience, Seoul Metro has launched a project aimed at exporting second-hand trains(used EMU cars) to Vietnam while seeking measures for diversifying its business such as the construction of the metropolitan railways both at home and abroad, and operating business as a way of fiscal consolidation and management improvement. Therefore, Seoul Metro has moved ahead with this plan considering that there's no legal constraints on durable period of rolling stocks in advanced countries where the vehicles have been used for 35 years or longer than 40 years through renovation such as safety inspection and comprehensive maintenance program, and the railway systems for the replacement are expected to reach 838 cars by 2015 with growth of 100 cars a year. Seoul Metro strives to create value for boosting revenues and recycling resources by sending used EMUs to Vietnam. Seoul Metro will also provide under-developed countries with cars at a low price as well as share the accumulated railway technical know-how so that it can promote the national image and obtain the pre-emptive effect of metro railways in Vietnam.
