  • A phenomenologic study on the experiences of public health nurses who performed practical instruction for nursing students. The purpose of this research was to understand the structure of the lived experience of public health nurses who performed practical instruction for nursing students. The research question was 'What is the structure of the experience of public health nurses who performed practical instruction? The sample consisted of 6 nurses working at health center in M&S city. The unstructed interview were carried out from December 20, 1996 through January 20, 1997. They were audio-recorded and analyzed using Van Kaam's method. These nurses experienced lack of role, expectation of nursing students., duty achievement, dissatisfaction about environment for practical instruction, practice-theory gaps performing practical instruction for nurse students.

  • The practical learning experience is the heart of nursing's professional program of study, have been the most widely disscussed and yet the least studied of all nursing education activities. The major goal of practical learning experience is to provide opportunities in realistic work settings that permit the nursing student to develop the knowledge, skill It attitudes of a beginning practitioner. The purpose of this study is to identify the experience of practical learning in the children's rehabilitation center by nursing students, to provide basic information for developing practical learning in pediatric nursing education. The study design was a descriptive study. Data were collected 74 cases of journaling which came from senior nursing students who cared for the handicapped children in P rehabilitation center from 24, August, 1997 to 29, Decmber, 29, 1998. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis by Kim & Lee(1986), Kim(1987). The results are as follows : The content of practical learning in the children's rehabilitation center were classified with 5 domains. The domains were , , , , and .

간호대학생이 인식한 간호관리학 실습 중요도와 실습경험도 비교 (A Comparison between Importance of Nursing Management Clinical Practicum and Practical Experience recognized by Nursing Students)

  • 3개 대학 간호학과 4학년 간호관리 임상실습을 경험한 학생 289명을 대상으로 간호관리학 실습교육내용에 대한 중요도 인식 및 실제 실습경험에 대하여 비교 조사하였다. 연구결과 평가 항목에서 책임감, 대인관계, 신뢰, 의사소통, 도덕성 순으로 중요하게 인식하였다. 간호관리 실습교육내용의 중요도에서는 간호단위관리를 4.37(최대 5점)로 가장 중요하게 인식하였다. 실제로 임상에서 직접 경험할 수 있었던 항목은 간호단위관리(22.0%), 간호관리의 이해(20.7%), 인적자원관리(19.8%)가 빈도순으로 가장 높았으며 실제 경험을 전혀 못 한 항목으로는 마케팅(52.4%), 재무관리(44.0%)였다. 학생들이 인식한 실습내용의 중요도와 실제 실습경험을 한 항목 간에는 여전히 불일치가 나타나 표준화된 간호관리학 임상실습 프로토콜의 완성과 관리실습 전담 프리셉터 제도의 시행을 제언하고자 한다.

가정과 실천적 문제 중심 수업에서 교사의 경험에 대한 연구 (Experiences of the Teachers in the Practical Problem-Based Home Economics Class)

  • This study examined in depth what teachers experience in a practical problem-based home economics class. This study established the research question, "What do teachers experience in the practical problem-based home economics class?" and selected three teacher participants who had steadily performed a practical problem-based home economics class to directly observe classes and conducted intensive interviews with the class performing teachers. The three research participants performed the practical problem-based class as a method of practicing their educational beliefs and based on a problem consciousness that textbook centered classes focusing on concepts cannot manage. They also tried to make efforts to reconstruct the textbook centered with practical problems to promote the critical thinking abilities of students. In practicing the practical problem-based class, the research participants recognized that it was important to show the present problems in reality to the students, teach broad value concepts, and establish rapport with students. They tried to make class content correspond to class evaluation. They felt awarded in how they influenced the development of students and the perception of home economics subjects in a positive way as well as experienced various actual difficulties in performing the practical problem-based class. The three research participants examined themselves through the agony and reflection of the class, and integrated the class with daily activities by applying problem solving methods of practical problem-based classes to their lives.

보건간호사의 의사결정 유형과 지식 유형에 관한 실증연구 (Public Health Nurses유 Decision Making Models and Their Knowledge Structure)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe decision making model of 180 public health nurses in Korea and their knowledge structure for decision making. The differences of decision making models by nurse's knowledge structure were also tested. Research concepts were measured using the instrument based on systemic and interpretive decision making approaches that were developed by Lauri & Salantera (1995). The results were as follows. 1. The public health nurses turned to, most commonly, a mixed practical-theoretical knowledge structure (45.9%), followed by practical knowledge (32%) and theoretical knowledge (22.1%). 2. The six different decision making models were identified. These were named for decision making theories and nursing process. These were client-oriented decision making, rule-oriented systemic decision making, wholistic and intuitive decision making, decision making depending on subjective view and experience, systemic decision making for defining problems. 3. The public nurses who had practical and practical-theoretical knowledge structure and community health practitioner (CHP) retold that decision making depends on subjective view and experience. Also the public health nurses who had 5~19 years clinical experience represented hypothetico-deductive decision making for defining problems.

  • Scientific foundation for ultrasonic scale preventing devices construction was given in 40S-50S of this century but their production in former USSR was organized later in 70th. Several different principles of scale preventing is overviewed together with physical principles of ultrasonic method. Practical experience received in USSR in 80S is discussed. Technical decisions and inventions used for construction of the first device UZU-1 produced in Cheboksary plant are enumerated and principles of UZU-2 device are briefly sketched.

  • 이 연구는 노인학대 피해경험이 노인의 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 대해 사회적지지가 조절효과를 어떻게 나타내는지 분석해 봄으로써 이론적, 실천적 시사점을 도출한 연구이다. 연구를 위해 전국에 분포해 있는 24개 노인보호전문기관에서 상담을 했던 학대피해노인 270명을 대상으로 노인학대 피해경험과 사회적 지지, 정신건강에 관한 설문을 실시하였고 연구결과, 노인학대 피해 경험은 피해노인의 정신건강에 유미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 두 변수의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과가 유의미하게 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

LED 디바이스를 활용한 패션전공 진로체험 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and application of career experience programs for fashion majors using LED devices)

  • This study started from the practical need for a career experience program in the fashion major that is creative and responds to current methodologies. The purpose of this study is to propose a fashion work experience program that combines digital technology and practical experience. The research methods and procedures were as follows: fashion items and wearable devices were selected, the LED smart bag program was developed, and it was executed. A total of 123 students participated in the program, and a satisfaction survey was conducted after observation and oral evaluation. All of the participants completed the LED smart bag processes of design ideation, material selection, production, and styling using an eco-bag (one of the fashion items and as an LED wearable device). As a result of the participants' satisfaction (on a 5-point scale), most items showed a high level of satisfaction of 4.39 points or more. The smart bag program was evaluated to increase interest based on the time allotted and the students' level and to bolster their understanding of, and interest in, the fashion major. Therefore, this study is expected to be baseline to explore diversification of the fashion major work experience program, in order to create interest in the fashion major based on creative convergence competency.

중소병원 간호사의 실무 경험에 따른 온라인 보수교육 요구도 조사 (Survey on Online Continuing Education Requirements according to Practical Experience of Nurses at Small and Medium Sized Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparison analysis on requirements of online continuing education requirements according to practical experience of nurses at small and medium-sized hospitals. Methods: Data had been collected with 236 nurses from May to June, 2015. The data were analyzed with the use of SPSS. Results: Among them, 45.8% participated in online continuing education. Nurses in beginning level required musculoskeletal diseases (20.9%), care for injuries and stomas (5.8%), and surgical disease and operation care (4.7%). Competent nurses required musculoskeletal diseases (19.7%), cerebrovascular diseases (9.9%), emergency care and CPR (8.5%), and medical nursing (8.5%). Skillful nurses required cerebrovascular diseases (13.9%), care for internal diseases (8.9%), and rehabilitation care (8.9%). Among the educational contents of diseases, the items that were significantly different according to practical experience were operation management ($x^2$=23.92, p<.001) and drug care ($x^2$=7.85, p=.020). Among continuing education methods, the items that were significantly different were video ($x^2$=16.81, p<.001), webtoon ($x^2$=8.96, p=.011), and test ($x^2$=10.56, p=.005). Among continuing education evaluation methods, the items that were significantly different were multiple-choices ($x^2$=9.43, p=.009) and OX ($x^2$=6.47, p=.039) based quizzes. Conclusion: Based on the study results, it is necessary to develop a differentiated continuing education program according to practical experience of nurses.
