This paper proposes practical teaching methods for efficient progress of project-based learning in engineering design education. Engineering design courses consist of three categories; introductory, individual and capstone design courses. This study concentrates on the case of individual design courses. Individual design courses act as bridges between introductory and capstone design courses and deal with applicable projects based on theoretical frameworks. In this study, practical teaching methods are applied to Artificial Intelligence curriculum as an individual design course for Juniors in Computer Engineering Major. The results on application of practical teaching methods show relatively positive in all aspects.

본 연구는 실천적 문제 중심 수업을 설계할 때 보다 구체적이고 체계적으로 수업을 설계하는데 활용하고자 하는 목적으로 백워드 설계 모형에 기초하여 개발되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 분석, 설계, 개발, 평가의 단계를 거쳐 연구를 진행하였다. 분석 단계에서는 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형의 개발을 위한 이론적 기초가 되는 실천적 문제 중심 교육과정에 대한 문헌 고찰, 수업설계 모형에 대한 문헌 고찰, 2015 개정 실과 교육과정의 분석 등이 이루어졌다. 설계 단계에서는 분석단계의 문헌 고찰을 통해 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형의 단계와 하위요소 등의 내용을 선정하고, 템플릿을 구안하였다. 개발 단계에서는 설계 단계에서 디자인한 내용을 바탕으로 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형의 초안을 개발하였다. 평가단계에서는 개발한 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형의 초안에 대하여 전문가 집단의 검증을 통해 모형을 수정·보완하고, 최종적으로 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형을 완성하였다. 연구 결과, 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형은 '목표 설정하기, 평가 계획하기, 학습활동 계획하기'의 3단계로 구성된 모형의 초안에서 전문가 검증을 거쳐 '실천적 문제 설정하기, 목표 설정하기, 평가 계획하기, 학습활동 계획하기'의 4단계로 최종적으로 모형을 수정·보완하였다. 실과 실천적 문제 중심 수업설계 모형은 전문가 검증을 통해 교사들이 실천적 문제 중심으로 수업을 설계하고자 할 때 구체적인 가이드라인이 될 수 있는 체계적인 템플릿이라고 평가하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a plan that adopts a fairly tale motif, which is familiar to children, to traditional Korean costume design factors for the development of practical Korean costume enterprises, which lead the Korean costume industry in its existence. Literary research and previous research methods had been used in this study. After comparing traditional Korean costume factors with practical Korean costume factors through literary research, we examined children's Korean costumes and ordinary children costumes. The results of this study are the following: First, the result of literary research, which used traditional Korean costume as motif of practical Korean costume and adopted model factors that the developed motif had used, shows that the design factors of practical Korean Costumes have changed from traditional to modern, seeking practicability and convenience over appearance. Second, practical Korean costumes are suitable when fairy tale illustration is applied to children with curiosity and warm emotions, and towards children, who spend much time on activity during growth. Third, making use of CAD system, which is different from practical Korean costume based on traditional patterns and single color, and using various pint pattern with many stories for the design of practical Korean costumes, and applying diversity to the market of practical Korean costumes, this study provides new design motif from, which people can feel more familiar to practical Korean costumes.

This research surveys the forming process of Practical Korean Costume and its social factors and examines Hanbok reformation. The international mode of '86 Seoul Asian Games and '88 Seoul Olympic Games in the 1980's called for the modernization of Hanbok. It is necessary for us to inherit modernized Hanbok which is endowed with the traditional beauty. The purpose of this research is to develop Practical Korean Costume design for focused on functionality as well as on keeping the traditional beauty This study consist of theoretical study and positive study. Theoretical study has the esthetic characteristics(structure characteristic, formative characteristic and the characteristic of color). Grounded upon survey on brands, I have suggested designs that maintain Hanbok's superiority and functionality to fit modern life. Most of Practical Korean Costume shops could not fractionalize customer. So it need to subdivide and specialize customer and investment to improvement of design. Practical Korean Costume will have to be made to maintain dignity by using high quality materials and a coordinate goods will have to be developed.

In this paper, we deal with the problem of practical observer design and the practical stabilization for a class of perturbed impulsive systems. We show that, under the classical conditions of uniform complete controllability and uniform complete observability of the nominal system without impulsive effects, it is possible to design an observer controller for a class of perturbed linear impulsive system when the origin is not an equilibrium point.

Purpose: The practical design for experiments with mixtures of q components is consisted in the four types of design points, vertex, center of edge, axial, and center points in a (q-1)-dimensional simplex space. We propose a sequential method for the successful construction of the design space in Quality by Design (QbD) by allowing the different number of replicates at the four types of design points in the practical design when the quadratic canonical polynomial model is assumed. Methods: To compare the mixture designs efficiency, fraction of design space (FDS) plot is used. We search for the practical mixture designs whose the minimal half-width of the tolerance interval per a standard deviation, which is denoted as d₂, is less than 4.5 at 0.8 fraction of the design space. They are found by adding the different number of replicates at the four types of the design points in the practical design. Results: The practical efficient mixture designs for the number of components between three and five are listed. The sequential method to establish a design space is illustrated with the two examples based on the simulated data. Conclusion: The designs with the center of edge points replications are more efficient than those with the vertex points replication. We propose the sample size of at least 23 for three components, 28 for four components, and 33 for the five components based on the list of efficient mixture designs.

A study was performed for combination active process between the academical theory and practical design process based on creative thinking process in interior desigv. At first, it was investigated the concepts and characteristics of creativity combined with creativite process of thinking, and also scientific and art characteristics on interior design to be educated together with logical and esthetical concepts required for creative thinking process. In reference with above process, it was systematically established stepwise process of interior design with creative thinking system. As a resualt, creativity in interior design could develop a unique design process combined informations about knowledge and experiences with actual acquirements by individual's experiences. So interior design could be approachable and developed with open-mind and consistently scientific methodology. Also creativity power of interior design could be solved by strategic knowledge acquired by practical experiences and problem solving capability in special branches. Like this, all design activities, including interior design, would be accomplished theoretical background and actual design process under the concepts of practical intension and use. So it would be made creative products by means of detail adapation process based on the theoretical atmosphere, therefore it'll be strongly based on the hardnessing of theoretical value and power. Theory for design process referred to environmental concepts, so including interior design, would not be terminated as for theoretical concepts but be responsible for future of well-developed design by accomplishment of various design adaption method for practical purpose and objectives.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an improvement plan for the practical evaluation method used to determine the national technical qualification in field of flower design to improve its development. First, an advisory committee was formed, after which comparisons, an analyses and matching were conducted of the currently used national technical qualifications and competency units and the competency unit elements of the National Competency Standards in an effort to strength practical skills and industrial field abilities in the field of flower design. Second, we visited an industrial site to understand the practical and technical aspects as well as the facilities and equipment used in the flower design field. The status of workers in the industrial field in the field of flower design was then analyzed. Through this process, practical examination questions were developed for improve the evaluation method. In addition, to ensure a properly configured result, a pilot test was conducted involving those majoring in the field of flower design. To investigate the feasibility of the developed exam, a survey focusing on targets related to flower design was conducted. Based on the results, by suggesting an improvement plan for the practical evaluation method of national technical qualifications in the field of flower design, it is possible to improve knowledge, technical aspects, and literacy, allowing us to train outstanding technical professionals. In the end, this study can be expected to contribute to the improvement of the flower design industry.

The LOHAS trend is based on a present and future culture with a sustainable influence on the life of modem humans. This study examines the LOHAS trend to create a design that is practical and reflects a notion of LOHAS in quality. Design making is selected with three sub-themes under the concept 'With Us, Nature & High Touch' and the dress design that is suitable to the type and purpose of the parties following the concept. Theme A, "Neo-Classicism" is for a reception party. It made efficient use of 'Type of environmentally friendly material practical use + Type of multi-function design + Type of order production + Type of society morals design'. Theme B, "Between Virtual & Reality" is for a wedding reception. It made efficient use of 'Type of environmentally friendly material practical use + Type of multifunction design + Type of retrenchment design + Type of order production + Type of society morals design'. Theme C, "Arty Illusion" is for a cocktail party. It made efficient use of 'Type of Re-design + Type of nature motive practical use + Type of the higher sensitivity pursuit design + Type of order production + Type of society morals design'. This study explained that nature, environment, and a sense about society are put to practical use in fashion design through the creation of a fashion design to apply a LOHAS fashion design notion and a special quality.

Uumanned aerial vehicle(UAV) systems have been used in various fields including industry and military. According to increasing the number of UAVs, the attention on interoperable UAV systems is increasing. In this paper, we propose the practical design of datalink in interoperable UAV systems. For practical design, we firstly review the operational scenarios in the interoperable UAV system. We then propose the system model of the datalink in interoperable UAV system. Consequently, the technical components such as the design of the network, the link management, the support of the multicast transmission, the support for autonomous mission and flight safety, and the datalink security are derived and reviewed for the practical design.
