  • This study was conducted for the university students who majored in culinary arts. The effects of students' certifications on class and school life satisfaction and their effects on preparation employment were examined. The results showed that the students with the certifications had a high level of satisfaction in the class satisfaction, but they also had high stress in the school life. In other words, it seemed that the stress was increased in parallel with the school life in obtaining the certificate. In the case of qualification for preparation employment, the certification affects the preparation for employment even for the culinary arts majors. As for the number of certificates and passions, the change was found from 3 certifications, lower in 4, but again in 5. These results suggest that the certification initially increases enthusiasm, but when it reaches a certain level, it reaches its limit and it rises again after passing the interval. Also, students who graduated from cooking related high school showed high passion compared to those who did not.

  • In this study, the Q method is used to investigate the types of perceptions of liberal arts education perceived by college students and to investigate the characteristics of each type. 33 Q samples were extracted from the Q population collected through literature research, open questionnaires, and deep interviews. Q classification was conducted for 27 students of A University located in B City. The data was analyzed using the QUANL program. In the research, the types of awareness of liberal arts education were derived as "pursuit of various experiences", "pursuit of practical studies", "pursuit of accident expansion", and "pursuit of social change". The results of this study re-establish the meaning of liberal arts education in university education and suggest that it is necessary to consider various educational contents and teaching learning methods.

  • Recently as color image processing to be become independent have been desired at the light source in an image processing and it have been enlarged. An image processing of the light source which is become independent means an image processing which uses a spectral reflectance information. We improved it in the spectral reflectance estimation method which uses existing 3-band image in this research that the improvement of an identity color population generation method which uses the hue angle and the processing speed improvement and introduces a labelling method. The precision of a spectral reflectance estimation appeared to the ${\Delta}E^*_{ab}$ of an average 2.7 comparing with the measurement price. The practical use possibility came to be fast and appeared a processing speed compared with existing method.

  • This study examines the effect of abusive supervision on employees' engagement and commitment in the deluxe hotel. Based on total 272 hotel employees obtained from the empirical research, this study verified total 3 hypotheses. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by using structural equation modelling. Abusive supervision perceived by employees had negative effect on engagement and employees' engagement had positive effect on organizational commitment. Also, abusive supervision perceived by employees did not have a significant effect on organizational commitment, full mediation effect through engagement existed. The study results are expected to be used as data for searching for effective responding ways at an organizational level and find practical ways to further increase employees' positive organizational behavior.

  • The professional alliance between disciplines of architecture and furniture design in the interwar years as displayed in the prominent architectural exhibitions of the era is interesting in the context of professionalization of American architecture. The way furniture design gradually became part of the architectural shows not only reflected but provided the practical field in which the architectural institution sought, under the new social order since the mid 1910s, a new professional cast-departing from the former milieu in the realm of high-art by the Beaux-Arts Movement. Exhibitions held by the Architectural League of New York in the 1920s revealed that the early impetus for reformation toward efficiency had been subsumed by the system of Beaux-Arts. By contrast, "The Architect and the Industrial Arts" show of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in which the most prominent architects of the era exercised their professional expertise in the design of "Moderne Style" interior furnishings, clearly shows how architects, in the milieu of expanding commercial market, sought to align their profession as industrial designers.

  • This paper is concerned by the controllability results of impulsive neutral stochastic functional integrodifferential equations (INSFIDEs) driven by fractional Brownian motion with infinite delay in a real separable Hilbert space. The controllability results are obtained using stochastic analysis, Krasnoselkii fixed point method and the theory of resolvent operator in the sense of Grimmer. A practical example is provided to illustrate the viability of the abstract result of this work.

  • This paper aims to apply our research and theorization on arts entrepreneurship to entrepreneurs active in the arts and cultural sector. Our goal is to develop proposals for practical actions that can support both arts entrepreneurs and supportive arts advocates. Using Action Research methodology, we hosted and facilitated two workshops with selected groups of arts entrepreneurs. Prior to the workshops we designed a questionnaire, based on the competency theory, to assess the qualities and characteristics of the participants. During the workshops we conducted surveys, interviews, and made observations in order to further understand the knowledge, experiences, motivations, capabilities, and attitudes necessary to successful arts entrepreneurship. We also conducted in-depth follow-up interviews with participants as a cross-check. We found that most of the participating arts entrepreneurs had a low understanding of the technology required for effective arts entrepreneurship, which has resulted in insufficient managerial support for artistic innovation. In addition, we found that participants lacked the skills and clear vision to construct a viable economic engine for their organization. Nevertheless, in light of the considerable strengths and high levels of enthusiasm and commitment participants evinced, we believe that their deficits can be corrected with education and training. Thus, we conclude by discussing the path forward and outlining a proposal to develop an innovative educational program on the daily operations of arts management that emphasizes applied technology and creating financial sustainability.

  • The decrease in the farming rates of agricultural produce importing countries has led to concerns over stable food supply and food safety and this situation demands a change in awareness on agricultural problems arising from the depletion of natural resources and environmental destruction. To preserve agriculture, importing countries are emphasizing the various roles of agriculture in order to revive its multi-functional aspects. It is obvious that differentiated strategies are needed to create values from agricultural production, and a liberal arts education can play an important role in making these strategies. However, training programs for future agricultural CEOs of the Korea National Agricultural College(KNAC) attaches too much importance on production skill and management rather than focusing on a liberal arts education. On the other hand, Poolmoo Ecological Agriculture Course carried out by Poolmoo Agriculture Technical High School located in Hongseong-Gun, Chungnam Province (which puts a high value on ecological fanning) gives more weight on a liberal arts education, taking up more than 50% of the curriculum. Also, the National Farmers Academy in Japan which reformed its whole system in 2008, has started various liberal arts educational programs. The Academy fosters creative agricultural management, attractive rural development enhancing a comfortable rural life and educates on the future of Japanese food and international environment. It is expected that the ecological and cultural roles of farming will grow in the future. So, what the KNAC needs is to increase its liberal arts educational programs and various cultural experiences in its educational curriculum to promote agricultural marketing with cultural knowledge and sensitivity.

  • This study confirmed the perceptions of performing arts field workers and related experts under the theme of non-face-to-face performing arts. As a result of the analysis, first, respondents agreed with the practical need for non-face-to-face performing arts, but respondents in the field viewed the lack of "fieldability" and "communication with the audience" of non-face-to-face performances as a problem. Second, respondents who participated in non-face-to-face performance production had negative perceptions of realism, immersion, interaction with the audience, lack of enjoyment outside the performance, and difficulties in securing budgets, filming and editing, and actors' acting commitment. Third, regarding the government's non-face-to-face performing arts-related support policy, they complained that support was only given to specific organizations and a small number of people, and administrative difficulties in support. Through this study, it can be suggested that face-to-face and non-face-to-face performance arts should be treated in a complementary and balanced relationship in terms of government policy.
