  • 에너지 절약과 환경 공해분제 그리고 최근에 부각되고 있는 지구온난화 문제 등을 해결하기 위해 고효율 발전시스템인 연료전지가 주목을 받고 있다 연료전지는 연소과정 없이 화학에너지를 전기 화학적으로 직접 전기로 변환시키는 시스템으로 효율이 높고 공해 물질의 배출이 거의 없기 때문에 매우 이상적인 발전장치이다. 연료전지 발전시스템의 철거 제어기 설계를 위해 필요한 운전 조건 즉 운전온도 압력 등의 운전조건과 연료 농도 공급량이 전지의 성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 특성을분석하였고 이들을 정리하여 최적제어를 위한 기본방식을 얻기 위해 이용하였다 실재 스택에 적용하기 위한 관련 측정시스템과 제어기는 dSPACE-1103과 ControlDesk를 사용하여 구성하였다.

  • In this paper, a computer simulation tool for evaluting integrated engine/transmission control system using MATLAB/SIMULINK is investigated. Since a modular programming technique based upon the object-oriented programming is used in the paper, the simulation tool developed reduces the burden of model complexity by dividing engine/transmission systems into hierarchical subsystem. Furthermore, it also provides user -friendly, reusable, and upgradable characteristics of the system. The simulation tool could be useful to the automotive engineers who frequently change models and develop new systems in the automotive powertrain and control area.

  • dynamic modelling method is applied to the driving simulation which has the calculable model of engine, transmission, vehicle. And driving pattern is used for database by actual tests and analyzed in neural network system. The simulation is compared to real test results and structures to the tracked vehicle powertrain.

  • This paper developed agricultural E-MPV(Multi-Purpose Vehicle based on E-Powertrain Technology) using IPMSM. First, Tractive effort calculated by considering the driving environment of MPV based on diesel engine. And accordingly the motor and inverter were designed and produced. They were mounted on MPV and test result was compared with the output power of MPV with an internal combustion engine.

  • The powertrain of the waterjet system of a special-purpose vehicle makes use of the cardan shaft, which is composed of universal joints and shafts. These universal joints, composed of spiders and needle roller bearings, have to be designed with consideration for the bending and compressive stresses of the spiders and needle roller bearings, and the rating lives of the bearings. The bending and compressive stresses of the spider and bearing of a universal joint have been studied by many researchers. However, to design a universal joint effectively, overall consideration of the different specifications of needle roller bearings is necessary. In this study, the bending stresses of spiders and compressive stresses of needle roller bearings are calculated to design universal joints for powertrain cardan shafts with different roller diameters of bearing. Furthermore, the rating lives of the needle roller bearings are predicted using the calculated basic dynamic load ratings of the bearings. As a result, roller diameters less than 𝜙2.5 mm are found suitable through an analysis of the bending stress of the spider. All compressive stresses between spider and bearing, regardless of roller diameter, satisfy the requirements. Moreover, roller diameters of more than 𝜙2 mm are found suitable for the required rating life.

  • A FEM-based efficient method is developed for the shape optimization of 2-D structures. The combined SLP and Simplex method are coupled with finite element analysis. Selected set of master nodes on the design boundaries are employed as design variables and assigned to move towards their normal directions. The other nodes along the design boundaries are grouped into the master node. By interpolating the repositioned master nodes, the B-spline curves are formed so that the rest mid-nodes efficiently settle down on the B-spline curves. Mesh smoothing scheme is also applied for the nodes on the design boundary to maintain most finite elements in good quality. Finally, a numerical implementation of optimum design of an automobile torque converter piston subjected to pressure and centrifugal loads is presented. The results shows additional weight up to 13% may be saved after the shape optimization.

  • As worldwide concern stands on global warming and greenhouse gases from internal combustion engine, the interests in technologies for a highly efficient powertrain has been increased. Concurrently the investigation to improve the deteriorated NVH, a by-product of energy efficient powertrain, is conducted seriously. The NVH performance of a new type of active engine mount that offers increased advantages over a passive hydraulic mount is examined using a newly developed 6-DOF simulator. The simulator is in the shape of Hexapod Stewart Platform adopting LEMA, a new type of actuator which is patented and commercialized by ACT Inc,, the world wide leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high performance linear electro-magnetic actuators for active vibration control. The target vibration signals of an aimed vehicle at four engine mounts are measured and simulated by 6-DOF simulator at the laboratory. The resulting NVH performances of the new active mounting system at a vehicle and on a simulator are examined and compared. Even though the active mount performance of lab test demonstrates less effective than the result of a real vehicle test, vibration reduction is identified through the simulator.

고온에서 맞물려 회전하는 토크컨버터 부품간 열 및 토크를 고려한 치형상의 최적설계 (Optimum Design of Teeth Shapes of Rotating Serration and Spline-type Torque Converter Parts Operating in a High Temperature Fluids)

  • $170^{\circ}C$의 고온에서 작동하는 자동변속기 토크컨버터의 리액터와 끝단 레이스 두 부품간 이빨이 서로 맞닿는 부분의 응력을 분산시키고, 수명을 증가시키기 위하여 치(이빨), 스플라인 두 형태의 리액터의 치형상을 FEM 최적화하였다. 최적화에 선행하여 서로 다른 재료로 된 두 부품의 열팽창에 의한 간격을 해석하였으며, 그 결과 열팽창 후에 치형 리액터는 약 0.1 mm, 스플라인형 리액터는 약 0.08 mm의 추가 간격이 발생한다는 것을 확인하였다. 형상최적화 결과 두 가지 형태의 리액터 치가 모두 비대칭 사다리꼴 형상으로 최적화 되었다. 이로 인해 치형 리액터의 경우 기존 비최적화 모델 대비, 최대등가응력이 24.5 % 감소하였으며, 스플라인형 리액터는 기존 비최적화 모델 대비 최대등가응력은 9.3 % 감소하였으며, 축 방향 두께는 13 % 감소하였다.

분위기 압력변화에 따른 DME 커먼레일 연료 분사 시스템의 분무 특성에 관한 연구 (An Investigation on the Spray Characteristics of DME Common Rail Fuel Injection System with Variation of Ambient Pressure)

  • It is investigated of the DME spray characteristics about varied ambient pressure and fuel injection pressure using the common rail fuel injection system when the nozzle holes diameter is varied. The common rail fuel injection system and fuel cooling system is used since DME has compressibility and vaporization in atmospheric temperature. The fuel injection quantity and spray characteristics were measured. The spray was analyzed of spray shape, penetration length, and spray angle at the six nozzle holes. The 2 types injector were used, the one was 0.166 mm diameter the other one was 0.250 mm diameter. The ambient pressure which is based on gage pressure was 0 MPa, 2.5 MPa, and 5 MPa. The fuel injection pressure was varied by 5 MPa from 35 MPa to 70 MPa. When using the converted injector, compared to using the common injector, the DME injection quantity was increased 127 % but it didn't have the same heat release. Both of the common and converted injector had symmetric spray shapes. In case of converted injector, there were asymmetrical spray shapes until 1.2 ms, but after 1.2 ms the spray shape was symmetrical. Compared with the common and converted injector, the converted injector had shorter penetration length and wider spray angle than the common injector.
