Diplexer is one of core devices needed to communicate with satellite using single ground antenna by separating uplink and downlink signal. This paper presents the design of the S-band diplexer for LEO TT&C application, especially for KOMPSAT (KOrea Multi-Purpose SATellite). To cope with requirements such as high handling power, low insertion loss, air-cavity resonator with high quality factor was considered as one of design drivers. Design was started with predicting unloaded Q and equivalent circuit from the structure of air-cavity resonator. For the convenience of adjustment, the coupling factor placed between resonators was estimated from COTSEM (Electro-Magnetic) simulator, EESOF $ADS^{TM}$, and expressed with 2-order polynomial regression. To improve the isolation between transmitting part (Tx) and receiving part (Rx), the inductive and capacitive attenuation poles were inserted between $4^{th}\;and\;6^{th}$ resonator respectively. The fabricated diplexer consists of two bandpass filters and each filter has eight resonants. From the measurement, it was shown that major requirements such as 0.5dB of insertion loss, 20dB of return loss and 100dB of isolation were fully satisfied within passband.
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) are using widely as a useful technique mainly in the field of electrochemical for the analysis of electrode reactions or characteristics of the composites. The response analysis of the systems technique provides comprehensive informations about the characteristic and structure of complex and internal reaction. The EIS is the method to measure impedance of the measurement target classified by the frequency, it select the equivalent impedance model to give same response from the result and it calculate the parameter. Therefore, the chemical reaction inside the fuel cell is to modeling to electrical impedance. And as repeating the same experiment in each of the operating point, we can get each different parameter. As a result, we can establish the equivalent impedance model in each operating point. Therefore, if we use these models, we can evaluate the fuel cell without the internal design parameter of the fuel cell as required in existing modeling. The EIS is used typically technique for distinguish status of fuel cell called SOH(State Of Health). When the fuel cell is degradation, Efficiency and health of the fuel cell is reduced because internal impedance is increase. As usage of these principles, we can evaluate state of fuel cell through the impedance analysis of fuel cells. In this study, we are presents EIS distinction system and algorithm for residential fuel cell systems. At the time of the fuel cell installation in the fields, the EIS system and proposed algorithm will be able to apply as technique for efficiency and performance evaluation about fuel cell system.

Ion-beam irradiation(IB) on $HfO_2$ surface induced high-performance liquidcrystal(LC) driving at a 1-V threshold with vertical alignment of liquid crystals(LC). The high-k materials Atomic layer deposition was used to obtain LC orientation on ultrathin and high-quality films of $HfO_2$ layers. To analyze surface morphological transition of $HfO_2$ which can act as physical alignment effect of LC, atomic force microscopy images are employed with various IB intensities. The contact angle was measured to elucidate the mechanism of vertical alignment of LC on $HfO_2$ with IB irradiation. Contact angle measurement show the surface energy changes via IB intensity increasing.

The demand fer small and high-capacity optical data storage devices has rapidly increased. The areal density of optical disk is increased by using higher numerical aperture objective lens and shorter wavelength source. A wafer-scale stacked micro objective lens with a numerical aperture of 0.85 and a focal length of 0.467mm for the 405nm blue- violet laser was designed and fabricated. A diffractive optical element (DOE) was used to compensate the spherical aberration of the objective lens. Among the various fabrication methods for micro DOE, the UV-replication process is more suitable fur mass-production. In this study, an 8-stepped DOE pattern as a master was fabricated by photolithography and reactive ion etching process. A flexible mold was fabricated for improving the releasing properties and shape accuracy in UV-replication process. In the replication process, the effects of exposing time and applied pressure on the replication quality were analyzed. Finally, the surface profiles of master, mold and molded pattern were measured by optical scanning profiler. The geometrical deviation between the master and the molded DOE was less than $0.1{\mu}m$. The diffraction efficiency of the molded DOE was measured by DOE efficiency measurement system which consists of laser source, sample holder, aperture and optical power meter, and the measured value was $84.5\%$.
Objective: The purpose of the study is to develop quantitative usability evaluation criteria for senior-friendly autonomous transportation robot. Background: The Republic of Korea has become the most rapidly aging society, and is anticipated to enter the post-aged society in 2026. To raise the quality of life of a senior with limited mobility and to reduce the burden of caregivers, many high-tech assistive products with information technologies are developed nowadays. The senior-friendly autonomous transportation robot is one person robot vehicle to move a senior to the destination for hospitals, nursing homes or silver town complex. With built-in navigation system and environmental monitoring censors, it automatically seeks the path to the destination and avoids collision to obstacles and pedestrians on the way. Due to the early stage of the product, few usability studies in this field have been done, mostly on general service robots to assist seniors, power wheelchairs and delivery robots. ISO and KS standards for the service robots are focused on safety. Method: Based on the reference usability index, the early draft of the usability evaluation questionnaires was developed. After small group tests and interviews, the experts modified the initial draft to the Usability Evaluation Criteria for Senior-Friendly Autonomous Transportation Robot (UEC-SFATR). Result: UEC-SFATR consisted of 4 subscales - Safety, Controllability, Efficiency and Satisfaction. All of the 4 subscales of UEC-SFATR were passed the reliability criteria by 4 groups of seniors, divided by gender and familiarity of smart-devices. Conclusion: UEC-SFATR covers wider area of user experiences of the SFATR and is a good measurement tool to help both the users and developers of the robot. Application: This study provides guide to the future product development and product competitiveness evaluation by quantifying user experiences for the SFATR.
This study was performed to evaluate the antioxidant activity of oven-dried tomato powder (OTP) as affected by drying temperature and the effect of OTP on the product quality of pork patties. Three OTP products were obtained by drying of fresh tomato at 60, 80 and 100℃ oven until constant weight was obtained. Total phenolic content of three kinds of OTPs ranged from 1.95 to 5.94 g/100 g. The highest amount of total phenolic compound was observed in OTP dried at 100℃. Antioxidant activity of three kinds of OTPs was measured by 1,1-diphenyl-2-pycrylhydrazyl (DPPH)-radical scavenging activity, iron chelating ability, reducing power and measurement of lipid peroxide in linoleic acid emulsion system. In all parameters, OTP at 100℃ showed the higher antioxidant activity than other temperatures (p<0.05). Based on the model study, the physicochemical properties, and antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of pork patties containing 1% OTP were measured. Redness of pork patties were increased with the addition of OTPs (p<0.05). Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) values of raw pork patties containing OTPs were lower than those of control (CTL) until 7 d of storage, regardless of drying temperatures (p<0.05). Peroxide values of pork patties made with OTP (1%) were lower than those of CTL until the end of storage time (p<0.05). However, no antimicrobial activities were observed among the treatments (p>0.05). Therefore, OTPs could be used as a natural antioxidant in meat products.

The copper indium disulfide ($CuInS_2$) thin film was manufactured using sputtering and thermal evaporation methods, and the annealing with sulfurization process was used in the vacuum chamber to the substrate temperature on the glass substrate, the annealing temperature and the composition ratio, and the characteristics thereof were investigated. The $CuInS_2$ thin film was manufactured by the sulfurization of a soda lime glass (SLG) Cu/In/S stacked [1] elemental layer deposited on a glass substrate by vacuum chamber annealing [2] with sulfurization for various times at a temperature of substrate temperature of $200^{\circ}C$. The structure and electrical properties of the film was measured in order to determine the optimum conditions for the growth of $CuInS_2$ ternary compound semiconductor $CuInS_2$ thin films with a non-stoichiometric composition. The physical properties of the thin film were investigated under various fabrication conditions [3,4], including the substrate temperature, annealing temperature and annealing time by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field Emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), and Hall measurement systems. [5] The sputtering rate depending upon the DC/RF power was controlled so that the composition ratio of Cu versus In might be around 1:1, and the substrate temperature affecting the quality of the film was varied in the range of room temperature (RT) to $300^{\circ}C$ at intervals of $100^{\circ}C$, and the annealing temperature of the thin film was varied RT to $550^{\circ}C$ in intervals of $100^{\circ}C$.

The energy makes the basic element which improves the quality of life with motive power of industry and life. However, using the fossil fuel resources was restricted through it's abuse and exhaustion, and that cause a global warming resultingly. According to the reason, the world increased the interest that are stability and use of new and renewable energy which is clean energy with environment. Therefore, the property data of new and renewable is needed for developing and supplying the energy. In other words, the data of new and renewable energy becomes the standards for supply and evaluation of new and renewable energy with development of industry and technology. Also, the necessity came to the fore as the reference and standards of new and renewable energy data. Therefore, in this study, we evaluate and collect the solar radiation data as the new and renewable data and process the collected data through the standards for valuation. We evaluate uncertainty with standards which are NREL, WMO, and GUM. Whereby the data becomes reference standards data and gains the credibility. For the reliability data, we correct the measuring instrument with correction period. Using the DQMS and SERI QC, we efficiently manage and evaluate the solar radiation data. As a result, we evaluate uncertainty as 1,120 case about 16 area. we achieve credibility of data from evaluated solar radiation data and provide an accurate information to user. The annual average of horizontal radiation presents between 1,484 and 4,577, then the uncertainty evaluates from 163 to 453. The error of uncertainty presents smaller than the measurement values. So, we judge a credibility of data by expression of reliability quantitatively. In additional, the reference standards data which is possible to approach anywhere will be used for the supporting related industry and policy making.
