  • This paper is researched discharge and ozone generation characteristics of ozonizer using $Al_2O_3$ Ceramic dielectric. The discharge characteristics with variation of the discharge electrode area is studied. The characteristics of ozone concentration. ozone generation and ozone yield were measured to discharge power, discharge electrode area and supplied gas flux for oxygen and air. The solubility of ozone for water concentrations and ozone generations proportional to discharge power and discharge electrode area. Ozone yield has slowly increase with Increasing discharge power at high flow-rate. As the result, the maximum values of ozone characteristics ozone generation and ozone yield, can be obtained 5817[ppm] and 36[g/kWh]. We make enough the ozone concentration as the air in the home. An electric discharge electrode area is apt to shrink gradually into a miniaturization trend of the ozonizer but the enlargement of the occurrence flight of the electric discharge area gives the characteristic enhance the aid in the identity condition through the structure improvement.

건물일체형 태양광발전 시스템의 발전성능 분석 (A Study on generation characteristics of building integrated Photovoltaic system)

  • In this study, we analyze the performance characteristics of Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) system of K Research Building which was designed with the aim of zero carbon building. In addition, BIPV system, which is consist of three modules; G to G(Glass to Glass), G to T(Glass to Tedlar/Crystal) and Amorphous, has 116.2kWp of total capacity, and is applied to wall, window, atrium and pagora on roof. Therefore, in this paper, our research team analyzed BIPV yield and generation characteristic. BIPV yield was 112,589kWh a year from January 2012 to December 2012. And after applying PV panels on the building, the power from the best setting angle, $30^{\circ}$, of panel was compared. In addition, when the PV was attached practically on the building, the generation power was analyzed. BIPV modules in this study the relationship between module setting angle, type of modules ect. and power characteristics plans to identify.

A Novel Simple Method to Abstract the Entire Parameters of the Solar Cell

  • PV power generation, which directly converts solar radiation into electricity, contains numerous significant advantages. It is inexhaustible and pollution-free, silent, contains no rotating parts, and has size-independent electricity conversion efficiency. The positive environmental effect of photovoltaics is that it replaces the more polluting methods of electricity generation or that it provides electricity where none was available before. This paper highlights a novel simple method to abstract the entire parameters of the solar cell. In development, design and operation of PV power generation systems, a technique for constructing V-I curves under different levels of solar irradiance and cell temperature conditions using basic characteristic values of the PV module is required. Everyone who has performed manual acquisition and analysis of solar cell I versus V data would agree that the job is tedious and time-consuming. A better alternative is to use an automated curve tracer to print out the I versus V curves and compute the four major parameters; $V_{oc}$, $I_{sc}$, FF, and . Generally, the V-I curve tracer indicates only the commonly used solar cell parameters. However, with the conventional V-I curve tracer it is almost impossible to abstract the more detailed parameters of the solar cell; A, $R_{s}$ and $R_{sh}$ , which satisfies the user, who aims at the analysis of the development of the PV power generation system, that being advanced simulation. In this paper, the proposed method provides us with satisfactory results to enable us to abstract the detailed parameters of the solar cell; A, $R_s$ and $R_{sh}$.>.

  • Experiences in wind farm operation are very limited in Korea, and the foundation for setting standards in power system connection is weak. Therefore, connection and operation standards for wind farms in other countries must be reviewed and power system operation criteria need to be established in order to set up connection standards and optimal operation plans according to the Jeju power system. In this study, reactive power control characteristics of a wind farm were analyzed using a wind farm model of the Jeju power system to propose power system connection operation standards for wind generation within the Jeju power system. Also, change in characteristics of the power system for the application of each reactive power control standard was confirmed, and the results were verified through trial tests arm was analyzed.

  • A new approach using fuzzy dynamic programming is proposed for the flexible long-term generation mix under uncertain circumstances. A characteristic feature of the presented approach is that not only fuzziness in fuel and construction cost. load growth and reliability but also many constraints of generation mix can easily be taken into account by using fuzzy dynamic programming. The method can accommodate arbitrary shape of membership function as well as the operation of pump-generator. And so more realistic solution can be obtained. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the best generation mix problem of KEPCO-system which contains nuclear, coal, LNG, oil and pump-generator hydro plant in multi-years.

Dielectric Barrier Discharge for Ultraviolet Light Generation and Its Efficient Driving Inverter Circuit

  • The efficient power MOSFET inverter applied for a simple and low cost power supply is proposed for driving the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) lamp load. For decades, the DBD phenomenon has been used for ozone gas production in industry. In this research, the ultraviolet and visible light sources utilizing the DBD lamp is considered as the load for solid-state high frequency power supply. It is found that the simple voltage-source single-ended quasi-resonant ZVS inverter with only one active power switch could effectively drive this load with the output power up to 700 W. The pulse density modulation based control scheme for the single-ended quasi-resonant ZVS inverter using a low voltage and high current power MOSFET switching device is proposed to provide a linear power regulation characteristic in the wide range 0-100% of the full power as compared with the conventional control based Royer type parallel resonant inverter type power supplies.

  • This paper analyzes the characteristic of gird connected photovoltaic power generation system which is available to connect the utility. Renewable energy photovoltaic power system has been linked to the system to analyze the impact of photovoltaic system. It is measured that power data for the Grid connected photovoltaic power plant with instantaneous measuring and 3-sec measuring for 7 days. Harmonic field measurements have shown that the harmonic contents of a waveform varies with time. A cumulative probability approach is the most commonly used method to solve time varying harmonics. So, it is used 50[%] cumulative probability approach. This paper provides an in depth analysis on power quality field measurement of the Grid connected photovoltaic power plant.

  • 전 세계적으로 화석연료의 많이 사용이 증가되고 있으며 이로 인해 온실가스가 배출되어 지구 온난화와 환경오염이 심각해지고 있는 실정이다. 지구의 환경오염을 줄이기 위해서 무공해 청정에너지인 신재생에너지에 대한 관심이 증가되는 추세인데, 그중에서도 풍력발전은 환경오염 물질을 배출하지 않고, 자원량이 무한대이기 때문에 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 하지만, 풍력발전은 전력 생산량이 불규칙한 단점을 갖고 있어 풍력 터빈의 손상과 전력 생산량이 불규칙적인 문제를 야기하여 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 풍력 발전량을 정확하게 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 풍력 발전량을 정확하게 예측하기 위해서 전력 생산량이 급증 또는 급감하는 것을 의미하는 ramp의 특성을 잘 활용해야 한다. 이 논문에서는 예측의 정확도를 높이기 위하여 다계층 신경망을 이용해 예측모델을 구축하였다. 구축된 예측모델은 흔히 사용되는 풍속, 풍향 속성뿐만 아니라 Power Ramp Rate(PRR) 속성까지 사용하였다. 구축된 풍력 발전량 예측모델은 앞서 말한 세 가지 속성을 모두 사용한 경우, 두 속성을 조합하여 사용한 경우 총 4가지 예측모델을 구축하였다. 구축된 4가지 예측모델을 성능평가 한 결과 PRR, 풍속, 풍향의 속성 모두를 사용한 예측모델의 예측 값이 풍력 터빈에서 관측된 관측 값에 가장 근접하였다. 그로 인해 PRR 속성을 사용하면 풍력 발전량의 예측 정확도를 향상 시킬 수 있었다.

CTL cell에서의 우세장 발생과 특성 (The generation and characteristics of the dominant field in CTL cell)

  • 전자파 내성 및 전자파 장해 측정을 위한 표준 전자파 발생 장치 중 하나인 CTL cell에서 두 개의 입력 단자에 동일 신호와 역위상 신호 입력에 따른 다양한 전계와 자계 발생에 대해 살펴보았다. 기본 공진주파수 TE011이 2.20GHz인 CTL cell을 이용하여 우세 전계장과 우세 자계장 조건에서 입력 전력의 변화에 따른 전계 특성, 측정 위치에 따른 전계 특성, 주파수 변화에 따른 전계 특성을 측정하였고, 이를 이용하여 CTL cell의 측정 영역에서의 동작 특성과 공진주파수의 영향을 받지 않고 사용 가능한 주파수 대역을 살펴보았다.

연료전지 발전시스템을 이용한 축소형 철도차량의 운전곡선 추종에 따른 추진제어장치 특성 고찰 (A Study on Propulsion Control Device Characteristics of Small-scale Electric Railway Vehicle according to Driving Curve Tracking using Fuel Cell Generation System)

  • The study in railway system to apply a fuel cell system with high efficiency and mobility than other renewable energy is being actively conducted. It is needed a analysis on load characteristics and control method of rolling stock in order to apply to rolling stock. This paper presents study on control small-scale prototype power converter electric railway vehicle using fuel cell generation system. Experiment is conducted through real fuel cell generation system and reference speed applying the driving curve of the actual electric railway vehicle was applied. Also, output voltage of boost converter is controlled considering characteristic of fuel cell. And it was confirmed characteristic according to powering and regeneration of inverter.
