This study aimed to examine the appearance of heated clothing in relation to fashion trends by analyzing constructive components of clothing using product images and actual products. A total of 91 images of domestic and foreign heated clothing products were collected, and a product analysis conducted with six parameters of item classification, namely, concept and image, silhouette, color, number of heating elements, and heating parts. In addition, an in-depth analysis was carried out with 11 products among them, while focusing on further detailed components of the design and heating system. As a result, the overall exterior design of domestic products has been changed from outdoor clothing to daily clothing reflecting the current design trend. Compared with domestic products, foreign products showed a diverse assortment and a greater number of heating regions per individual item of clothing. The current heating system commonly consists of a heating element, power source, controller board, and wires, although the existence and type of switches differed from product to product. To develop a more efficiently heated clothing to expand the market, the design, ease of use, safety, consumer preference, heating functionality, and durability should be considered. Along with design recommendations for future heated clothing, this study also provides a practical guide to the technical aspects of the design of the components of heated clothing.
As the 4th industrial age approaches, the demand for semiconductors is increasing enough to be used in all electronic devices. At the same time, semiconductor technology is also developing day by day, leading to ultraprecision and low power consumption. Semiconductors that keep getting smaller generate heat because the energy density increases, and the generated heat changes the shape of the semiconductor package, so it is important to manage. The temperature change is not only self-heating of the semiconductor package, but also heat generated by external damage. If the package is deformed, it is necessary to manage it because functional problems and performance degradation such as damage occur. The package burn in test in the post-process of semiconductor production is a process that tests the durability and function of the package in a high-temperature environment, and heat dissipation performance can be evaluated. In this paper, we intend to review a new material formulation that can improve the performance of the adapter, which is one of the parts of the test socket used in the burn-in test. It was confirmed what characteristics the basic base showed when polyamide, a high-molecular material, and alumina, which had high thermal conductivity, were mixed for each magnification. In this study, functional evaluation was also carried out by injecting an adapter, a part of the test socket, at the same time as the specimen was manufactured. Verification of stiffness such as tensile strength and flexural strength by mixing ratio, performance evaluation such as thermal conductivity, and manufacturing of a dummy device also confirmed warpage. As a result, it was confirmed that the thermal stability was excellent. Through this study, it is thought that it can be used as basic data for the development of materials for burn-in sockets in the future.

Recently, the rapid growth of artificial intelligence among the 4th industrial revolution has progressed based on the performance improvement of semiconductor, and circuit integration. According to transistors, which help operation of internal electronic devices and equipment that have been progressed to be more complicated and miniaturized, the control of heat generation and improvement of heat dissipation efficiency have emerged as new performance indicators. The DUT(Device Under Test) Shell is equipment which detects malfunction transistor by evaluating the durability of transistor through heat dissipation in a state where the power is cut off at an arbitrary heating point applying the rating current to inspect the transistor. Since the DUT shell can test more transistor at the same time according to the heat dissipation structure inside the equipment, the heat dissipation efficiency has a direct relationship with the malfunction transistor detection efficiency. Thus, in this paper, we propose various method for PCB configuration structure to optimize heat dissipation of DUT shell and we also propose various transformation and thermal analysis of optimal DUT shell using computational fluid dynamics.
An autofilter is a device that removes impurities contained in heavy fuel oil used in diesel engines of ships or power plants, and also automatically removes impurities accumulated in the filter through a reverse washing function. The reducer-integrated motor serves to rotate the filter at low speed to enable reverse automatic cleaning in the autofilter device. To achieve a low speed of 0.65 to 0.75 rpm in a reducer-integrated motor, a small motor that can operate at 97rpm at a rated voltage of 110 V and 112.5 rpm at 220 V is required. Additionally, a large gear ratio of 1/150 is required. To ensure the durability and reliability of these reducers, the strength of the gear must be evaluated at the design stage. In general, there is a limit to evaluating the stress and strain state according to the vibration characteristics acting on each gear in the driving state of the reducer through quasi-static analysis. Therefore, in this study, the operation characteristics of the auto filter's reducer-integrated motor were first analyzed using the rigid body dynamics analysis method. Then, this rigid body dynamics analysis model was extended to a flexible multibody dynamics analysis model to analyze the stress and strain states acting on each gear and evaluate the design feasibility of the gear.
In the case of driving water electrolysis by receiving surplus electricity from solar and wind power generation, operation and stopping must be repeated according to weather fluctuations. When the PEMWE(Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Water Electrolysis) is driven and stopped, the PEM fuel cell is in the same state as the PEM fuel cell due to the residual hydrogen and oxygen, and the high potential of the water electrolysis formed during operation is highly likely to cause degradation of the electrode and membrane even during stopping. In this study, in order to check how much degradation of the electrode and membrane progresses during the repeated driving/shutdown process of PEM water electrolysis, the performance decrease was measured by changing the number of driving/shutdown for 144 hours. Changes in electrode catalyst active area, hydrogen permeability and fluorine emision rate of membranes were analyzed to measure changes in the properties of electrodes and polymer membranes. Overall, the PEMWE performance decreased as the number of stops increased. When stopped 5 times in 144 hours, the IrOx catalyst activity decreased by more than 30%, and the hydrogen permeability increased by 80%, confirming that both the electrode and the membrane were deteriorated.

In recent years, solid-state Li metal batteries (SSLBs) have attracted significant attention as the next-generation batteries with high energy and power densities. However, uncontrolled dendrite growth and the resulting pulverization of Li during repeated plating/stripping processes must be addressed for practical applications. Herein, we report a plastic-crystal-based polymer/ceramic composite solid electrolyte (PCCE) to resolve these issues. To fabricate the one-side ceramic-incorporated PCCE (CI-PCCE) film, a mixed precursor solution comprising plastic-crystal-based polymer (succinonitrile, SN) with garnet-structured ceramic (Li7La3Zr2O12, LLZO) particles was infused into a thin cellulose membrane, which was used as a mechanical framework, and subsequently solidified by using UV-irradiation. The CI-PCCE exhibited good flexibility and a high room-temperature ionic conductivity of over 10-3 S cm-1. The Li symmetric cell assembled with CI-PCCE provided enhanced durability against Li dendrite penetration through the solid electrolyte (SE) layer than those with LLZO-free PCCEs and exhibited long-term cycling stability (over 200 h) for Li plating/stripping. The enhanced Li+ transference number and lower interfacial resistance of CI-PCCE indicate that the ceramic-polymer composite layer in contact with the Li anode enabled the uniform distribution of Li+ flux at the interface between the Li metal and CI-PCCE, thereby promoting uniform Li plating/stripping. Consequently, the Li//LiFePO4 (LFP) full cell constructed with CI-PCCE demonstrated superior rate capability (~120 mAh g-1 at 2 C) and stable cycle performance (80% after 100 cycles) than those with ceramic-free PCCE.

In this study, the electrochemical performance of a 5-layer fuel cell stack using silica composite membranes as polymer electrolyte membranes was evaluated. It was observed that the flow rate of the fuel gases plays a crucial role in stack performance, particularly being mainly dependent on the flow rate of hydrogen. Increasing the flow rate of oxygen resulted in negligible changes in performance, whereas an increase in the flow rate of hydrogen demonstrated performance improvements. However, this led to an imbalance in the ratio of hydrogen to oxygen flow rates, causing significant degradation in stack performance and durability. A decline in stack performance was also observed over time due to the degradation of stack components. This phenomenon was consistently observed in individual unit cells. Based on these findings, it was emphasized that, in addition to optimizing the performance of each component during stack operation, it is important to optimize design and operating conditions for uniform flow rate control. Lastly, the developed silica composite membrane was assessed to have sufficient performance for application in actual fuel cell systems, exhibiting a performance of over 25 W based on maximum power.

This study investigates the synthesis, characterization, and application of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles for corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) mitigation in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. The ZnO nanoparticles are synthesized using plasma discharge in water, resulting in rod-shaped particles with a hexagonal crystal structure. The ZnO nanoparticles are applied to Alloy 600 tubes in simulated nuclear power plant atmospheres to evaluate their effectiveness. X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis reveals the formation of thermodynamically stable ZnCr2O4and ZnFe2O4 spinel phases with a depth of approximately 35 nm on the surface after 240 hours of treatment. Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) mitigation experiments reveal that ZnO treatment enhances thermal and mechanical stability. The ZnO-treated specimens exhibit increased maximum temperature tolerance up to 310 ℃ and higher-pressure resistance up to 60 bar compared to non-treated ZnO samples. Measurements of crack length indicate reduced crack propagation in ZnO-treated specimens. The formation of thermodynamically stable Zn spinel structures on the surface of Alloy 600 and the subsequent improvements in surface properties contribute to the enhanced durability and performance of the material in challenging high-temperature and high-pressure environments. These findings have significant implications for the development of corrosion-resistant materials and the mitigation of stress corrosion cracking in various industries.
As awareness of environmental pollution problems increases worldwide, interest in air pollutants is increasing. In particular, NOx and PM, which are major pollutants in diesel vehicles, are contributing significantly to emissions. As a result, its importance is increasing. In this study, based on research results applied to large diesel vehicles, the problem of natural regeneration caused by low exhaust gas temperature during low speed and low load operation is solved by applying a complex regeneration DPF that is not affected by temperature conditions to small diesel vehicles. The feasibility of application to small diesel vehicles was reviewed by measuring the emission reduction efficiency. As a result of the engine test, the power reduction rate and fuel consumption rate before and after device installation under full load conditions were 2.9% decrease and 3.5% increase, respectively, satisfying the standard for a 5% reduction, and as a result of the regeneration equilibrium temperature (BPT) test, the regeneration temperature was 310℃. appeared at the level. The reduction efficiency test results for the actual vehicle durability test equipment showed 97.3% PM, 51.0% CO, and 31.1% HC, while the city commuter vehicle had PM 97.5%, CO 61.7%, HC 40.0%, and the school bus vehicle had PM 96.8%, CO 44.4%, HC 34.3%, and low-speed logistics vehicles showed a reduction efficiency of 98.2% for PM, 36.0% for CO, and 45.7% for HC. Based on the results of this study, in the future, it is necessary to secure DPF technology suitable for all vehicle types through actual vehicle application research on temperature condition-insensitive composite regenerative DPF for medium-sized vehicles.

In this study, the heating performance and the energy saving effect of the heat pump system using hot waste water(waste heat) of the thermal power plant discharged from a thermal power plant to the sea were analyzed. The greenhouse area was $5,280m^2$ and scale of the heat pump system was 120 RT(Refrigeration Ton), which was divided into 30 RT, 40 RT and 50 RT. The heat pump system consisted of the roll type heat exchangers, hot waste water transfer pipes, heat pumps(30, 40, 50 RT), a heat storage tank and fan coil units. The roll type heat exchangers was made of PE(Poly Ethylene) pipes in consideration of low cost and durability against corrosion, because hot waste water(sea water) is highly corrosive. And the heating period was 5 months from October to February. During the heating performance test(12 hours), the inlet water temperature of evaporator was changed from $32^{\circ}C$ to $26^{\circ}C$, and heat absorption of he evaporator was changed from 175 kW to 120 kW. The inlet water temperature of the condenser rose linearly from $15^{\circ}C$ to $50^{\circ}C$, and the heat release of condenser was reduced by 40 kW from 200 kW to 160 kW. And the power consumption of the heat pump system increased from 30 kW to 42 kW. When the inlet water temperature of condenser was $15^{\circ}C$, the heating COP(Coefficient Of Performance) was over 7.0. When it was $30^{\circ}C$, it dropped to 5.0, and when it was above $40^{\circ}C$, it decreased to less than 4.0. It was analyzed that the reduction of heating energy cost was 87% when compared to the duty free diesel that the carbon dioxide emission reduction effect was 62% by recycling the waste heat of the thermal power plant as a heat source of the heat pump system.
